We aren’t early risers. We constantly get down on ourselves for all the sunrises we’ve missed - all the beautiful light and opportunities - all the success of a day started early. But what we miss in sunrises, we make up for a hundred fold in sunsets. I like the last light of day. It’s warm. It’s gold. It’s not fresh and light and pastel colored, nor does it evaporate into the white light of midmorning - it’s long and peaceful and saturated to perfection and it embraces in its late age. It gets better and better until it’s gone entirely. I’m glad that we can be there to see the other side of the day from all of you dawn patrollers who make us feel bad. :-) :-)
