And we’re back baybee, it’s that time where @suddenlyshouting and I, continue to collab on illustrating our dnd party for the campaign’s 5th birthday.

Meet Archie’s character, Kurzak Khrun | Battlemaster Fighter & Warmage | They/Them

Kurzak Khrun is a veteran of the Unification Wars that consolidated the various Jander Hill Tribes of Hobgoblins into the Red Hand Imperium. They are also a defector from said Imperium, having left the burgeoning Empire during its attempted Conquest of the Lesos Lowlands, due to their continued opposition to the Imperial Dragon Cult in favour of their people’s traditional religion.

Their current task is to maintain the fragile peace between their peoples and the Lowlands, one borne of necessity due to the new threat of the God of Creation and Destruction.

The clutch this game has on me, went from playing it as a lil masc simulator to me grieving and needing to space out for like two weeks before I could play the epilogue.

Amaranth Nerath is a Bard of skill to rival her father (Hywel), and Arcanist to rival her mother (The Wizard Treona). She has been near fatally blessed by a lost and forgotten God of Storms, and has resurrected an ancient forbidden school of magic; Vicissitude.

Her current plans are to kill her former tutor (the Hag Larysa), to acquire the fabled Harp of the White Duke, and to accrue the power and arcana necessary to kill the God of Creation and Destruction.

Nadiya is the only known navigator of the Ki Stones which populate Tharz, the purpose of which she is still attempting to divine. She is also a Heartwarder of Sune, an oath sworn as she attempts to navigate the trials and tribulations of her own (recently cross-planar divorced from her wife) heart.

Her current task is to decode the Ki Scroll, an ancient manuscript whose secrets have caused enlightenment and divine madness alike.

For the five year anniversary of our DnD Campaign, @versatilemess and I decided to collaborate on illustrating the various party members over the years.

Starting with my character: Ser Coriakin Galswynth | Draconic Sorcerer & Eldritch Knight | He/Him

Coriakin is the Patriarch and Warrior-Smith of the Draconic House Galswynth, as well as the Consort of his family’s Sovereign; the Dragon Tyrystis. Part of a Dragon worshipping ethno-religious group that has dwindled to one remaining family, Coriakin is the heir of a two thousand year old religion and dynasty that may be seeing its last days, or perhaps a renewal.

His current task is to kill his Ancestor; the Progenitor of the Dragons, the God of Creation and Destruction.

Clan Estea

Clan Estea are the ultimate social parasites. While other clans claim to be close to the heartbeat of humanity, their affinities all pale in comparison. The Estea slip into social circles, families, and organisations with effortless grace, manipulating them all from within as they feed upon the kine that surround them. They do this because they must, for the curse of the Estea renders them entirely unable to gain sustenance from a mortal unless they have formed an emotional or physical connection with them. The discipline of Caritas facilitates this control by allowing them to manipulate the emotions of their victims in regards to the world around them. Making them want, hate, shun or even obsess over whatever they wish them to.
