i think the fact that over the past 48 years or so, there really has not been a single verified and consolidated star wars canon (esp outside of the OT and PT if you squint) is the reason that i truly don't care that characterizations across shows/movies differ, that people are confused by plot holes and weird timelines. i simply do not care. it's all fanfiction of a new hope to me. i do what i want, and the writers can too. i'll pick and choose what i like thank you very much.

Watching Star Wars in chronological order is so funny.

oh my GOD the ghor were singing and then the sniper and then the massacre and it fucked me up so bad because it was so real and my adrenaline was peaking and i honestly thought i might cry? because seeing people brutalized like that is such a real and terrible thing that happens every day. not just in other countries but here too. in america too. and it makes me scared but it also gives me hope? i have such complicated feelings

and then cassian being like "who are you" to syril like WOW you really almost woke up to the horror show of fascism and then you ended up dying bc of a man who literally didn't even know who you were. who will probably never know who you were. fucking embarrassing as hell dude.

wil surviving was so important to me thank you tony gilroy for not just. leaving him to die.

bix leaving cassian and saying she'll find him later is like. first of all canonically oh honey no you won't but also i don't think it would have worked? even if cassian survived and they did reunite i don't think they would have worked out because how do you change so much and then try to come back together when he's been a light in the rebellion and she leaves to do... something? i have no idea. i like to think she's in another rebel cell but i feel like it's equally as likely she removed herself from that world because of all the destruction and pain and trauma it's brought to her life so like. gah.
