The KitchenAid Food Processor vs the Blender
[ad_1]
When most people think of smoothies and frozen drinks, they typically think of the blender. The blender has long been a staple of kitchens and bars everywhere. It can chop ice, it can puree soups and salsas and it can even chop up fruits and vegetables into fine pieces. However, if you’ve never used a KitchenAid food processor before, you’ll be surprised to find out that a can do many things a blender can’t.
Put side by side, they don’t look that different. Both have a reservoir where the food is chopped or pureed, and there is a motor in the base that is controlled by a switch or a series of buttons. But that’s where the similarities end.
Blenders
It’s common knowledge that blenders are great at blending things, obviously. They are perfect for any kind of cold or frozen drinks where you have to add ice to give it a little thickness and texture. Blenders are great at crushing ice, provided it’s a good one, and it’s rare to find a kitchen without one. Bodybuilders use them for protein shakes, cooks use them for salsas and gravies and kids use them for milkshakes.
However, when it comes to blenders, they really can’t hold up against food processor s when it comes to more solid foods. Have you ever put a whole apple into a blender to see what would happen? The apple does get chopped, but it’s often halfway done. The blender’s just not efficient when it comes to solid foods. That’s why many people prefer the food processor over the blender, for a number of reasons.
Food Processors
These are designed for solid foods. You can chop, mince, slice and even puree vegetables, fruits, cheeses, bread, and any other solid food you feel like sticking into the chamber. If you stuck all those things into a blender, you’d likely end up with a mess. With a these, you have various functions that allow you to tackle many solid food jobs. Instead of hand chopping broccoli or celery, for instance, you can just use the food processor . What’s more, you can also use these to make all your favorite smoothies, protein shakes, gravies and salsas, too.
It would appear that the KitchenAid Food Processor can do everything the blender can do and more. It’s a surprise that more homes, bars and restaurants don’t put them to use. With all they can do, they should be a staple of any kitchen, commercial or residential, for they are the superior appliance when it comes to preparing foods the way you want them.

Unboxing: The Vitamix Perfect Blend
Vitamix Professional Series 750 Black with 64-Oz. Container
It’s not too often that Vitamix comes out with new products, but we got this in the mail today.
The Vitamix Perfect BlendSmart Scale and App.
We are so excited, we’ve heard it’s marvelous.
So today, we’re going to open it up.
[music] Aright here it is people.
The Vitamix Perfect Blend Smart Scale and Recipe App.
A beautiful box we just got in the mail.
This is nicer than we expected.
More than we expected.
It’s beautiful.
Here we go.
Let’s flip through.
Side, we got three steps to better blends.
Pick a recipe.
Follow the instructions based on the weight.
Precise down to.
1 gram.
One tenth of one gram.
And step three, track your progress with the built-in timer.
And then enjoy.
Very important.
Very important to enjoy.
Okay, back of the box.
Look at this thing.
This is what we’re about to open up.
Now, it does not come with a tablet.
You have to have your own tablet.
But it does come with the stand.
We’ll see what’s in the box in a second.
So what can you do? You’re going to choose from a collection of Vitamix recipes.
With this scale, you get access to the hugedatabase of Vitamix recipes.
They’ve uploaded and configured for the Perfect Blend, this product.
You can sync it up with a meal plan, withApple Health, with Google Health, FitBit.
And then, precise nutritional information.
Beautiful.
Okay, other side.
Get creative.
This looks like a, sort of, a screen shotof a demo of what we can do.
You pick the recipe.
It’s going to give you all the stats.
It shows you how many times you’ve made it.
That’s pretty cool.
And then, back to the front.
I want to show you the top.
The Perfect Blend.
So here’s what’s inside.
The stainless steel scale.
Tablet stand.
Or phone.
And two smoothie cups.
Bonus.
Awesome.
And then.
one of my favorite parts, this remindsme of back in the day when we would open up CD’s, is breaking this seal right here.
So I’m going to try and pop it open.
Okay, I’ll use a little knife here.
So this is, this is real.
We are opening this for the first time.
We got it in the mail today, we’re super excited.
And I still can’t open it.
There we go.
Okay.
You can see okay still? Okay, I’ll try and not show my head.
Okay.
Inside of The Perfect Blend.
And.
Nothing.
[laughing] Okay, first thing’s first.
Here are our instructions.
Let’s see, what’s this.
This looks like the scale itself.
And a nice compostable crate.
Oh my goodness.
Beautiful.
T-dah! Okay, here’s your Vitamix Perfect Blend.
Shiny.
Stainless steel.
Bluetooth button.
Looks like a unit adjuster.
A little power button.
Branded Vitamix.
Powered by Perfect.
Pretty nice looking.
Let’s see the back.
Back, looks like there’s a place for some batteries.
Some feet to get it to stick on your counter.
Beautiful.
Okay.
What else do we got? Ohh.
Another sealed.
I think this is a smoothie container.
thatI can’t open.
I’ll get my trusty knife.
Should get a nicer looking knife maybe? Okay.
Okay, what do we got here.
This looks like the tablet holder.
This looks like one leg of the tablet holder, perhaps? Or maybe all of the tablet holder? This is the tablet holder.
Okay.
We’ll have to figure out how this works.
This is fun.
And then also inside this box is a smoothie container! Sweet! Never seen this one.
We have several Vitamix smoothie containers in our house.
This is a Vitamix household.
This looks, like, pretty nice.
Beautiful.
Okay.
And then, let’s do it like this.
So let’s set this down here like this.
Let’s display what we have so far.
We’ve got the scale, the holder, we’ve got a cup.
And then I think.
Okay, I should open itin front of the camera, huh? I haven’t done this in a while.
I think this is another cup.
Okay.
Beautiful.
So we have another lovely smoothie cup.
Instructions.
So that is the unboxing of The Vitamix Perfect Blend.
Vitamix Professional Series 750 Black with 64-Oz. Container

New Post has been published on http://healthcookingreview.com/demonstration-vitamix-perfect-blend-life-is-noyoke/
Demonstration: Vitamix Perfect Blend | Life is NOYOKE
Hey, Lenny Gale, Life is NOYOKE.
Today, we're showing you the Vitamix Perfect Blend.
Cool? Yup! [music] So Vitamix sent us their new product, the Perfect Blend Interactive Scale and Recipe App.
We're really excited.
It's cool.
We've been playing with it for the last few days.
Actually, Shalva's been playing with it forthe last few days.
I'm more of a throw stuff in and see what happens.
So she's going to show you three cool things that she likes about it.
And since we only have one microphone rightnow, I'm going to pass the mic to her and go behind the camera to make sure we get some good shots of this new product.
Cool.
Cool.
Hopefully the.
[laughing] I don't need to do that again, right? No.
It was fine.
It was fine.
Okay, Shalvie's all mic'd up.
I'm going behind the camera.
So peace out.
So like Lenny said, I've been messing aroundwith this Perfect Blend for the weekend or so.
And there are three really cool things that I want to show you.
One is that it's pre-loaded with all thesereally cool recipes.
Two is that you can scale everything by calories,by serving size, by servings.
And that really matters to me.
And three is the precision of the scale, itself, and how it, kind of, interacts with you.
So the first thing I want to show you is the app that's pre-loaded with all these cool recipes.
So we'll see how well I do upside down here.
Everyone's going to know your password.
[laughing] Oh no! Okay, so the first thing you're going to see is that it is pre-loaded with all these really cool recipes that the Vitamix team has been working really hard on.
So if you do a quick scroll, you'll see alot of smoothies, some soups, some dressings, some sauces, and if you keep scrolling, you see some stuff like waffles, I saw some crepes earlier.
Really cool.
So that's a neat feature that it has already built into the app.
The other neat thing is that if you have aparticular craving for something, let's say it's pumpkin, which is a fall favorite around these parts.
How to type upside down.
Okay, so I typed in "pum", pump, and it's showing me the four recipes that feature pumpkin.
So creamy pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie dip, apumpkin spice smoothie, and a wellness smoothie.
Now the wellness smoothie doesn't actually have pumpkin in the title, but it does feature pumpkin.
So I'm really interested in making this creamy pumpkin soup.
But I'm not sure that I have all of the stuff I need to make it.
So you can see the recipe right here.
And, if you're like, you know what, I really do want to make this, but I don't have some of the ingredients, you can add them to yourshopping list, which I think is a really reallyneat feature.
So it makes it really easy on you.
I already have some of these things in my cabinet.
I have apple cider vinegar.
I have vegetable stock.
I have olive oil, etc.
So I can just add the things that I don'tthink that I have to my shopping list.
Added.
Great.
So let's say that I have decided to make a smoothie.
So.
Quick do.
I'm going to pick this blueberry ginger smoothie here.
So the blueberry ginger smoothie has.
Oops! It's a very good little thing, actually.
That's the first time it's tipped over onme, so that's pretty good.
Okay, so, the smoothie here, the blueberryginger smoothie has 480 calories.
That's kind of a lot of calories for a morning smoothie for me.
So I'm going to choose toedit it a little bit.
So right now I have one serving of this blueberrysmoothie that's 16 ounces.
So you know what? I don't need 16 ounces, I'm going to go fora 12 ounce smoothie and that brings me down to 360 calories, which is awesome.
That's about the range that I wanted to have my breakfast for.
What's really neat about this is if this were another recipe, I would have to scale everything back by a certain percentage.
And that math is, honestly, kind of hard to do.
With this app, it just does it for me because it's based on weight measurement and not necessarily a fourth of a cup, half of a cup, things like that.
So, that's one really cool thing.
That I can scale by calorie.
And, I can scale by serving size.
So Lenny likes bigger smoothies, doesn't careabout his calorie content.
So he'll probably have an 18 ounce smoothie.
It's 540 calories.
That's great.
If I want to make a couple of smoothies because I'm being nice this morning, I can make two12-ounce smoothies.
I'll still know that my calorie intake isgoing to be 360 here.
But now I'm making two 12-ounces and I'm just telling the scale, "Yo, I'm making two smoothies.
Not one.
" It's really easy if we had a couple of guests come over to make that into four,12-ounce smoothies.
Okay? So that's one thing I really love.
You'll notice I'm wearing a FitBit.
I love tracking calories.
I love tracking my steps.
And this scale helps me do that so well.
Okay, so the third thing that's really cool, not the last thing, there's plenty of cool things, but we don't want to bore you witha 20-minute video here.
The third thing that's really cool is onceyou do decide to make something, and I'm going to show you how to actually make a smoothie here, you'll notice how precise the scale itself is.
So I've chosen to make this chocolate blueberry smoothie.
Right? Is that the one we chose? Yes, I have all those ingredients.
Okay, so I am choosing to make this particular smoothie.
I am going to make three servings of this, and I'm going to choose 12-ounce smoothies.
So it's only 140 calories.
That's pretty awesome.
I'm using this as a snack.
So 140 calories is pretty legit here.
Okay, so the first thing that I do is placethe blender jar on the scale.
So you'll see right here that it's flashing a little bit.
It's telling me what to do.
[beep] That's a cool sound.
So I've got my bluetooth on, which means thescale is connected to my iPad here.
Very high-tech.
And I am telling the scale.
[beep].
That I am here.
And I did that twice, I don't know why.
And that I'm setting this container on it.
[beep] Okay, so that sound is telling me, okay, weknow how heavy your blender is, and you can start adding ingredients.
Now, I made a little mistake because I put it on with the lid.
And I don't want the lid to be a part of the measurements, so.
We're going to go back to this step.
[beep] [beep] Okay, so now we have the measurement of the container minus the lid, which is where we should have been in the first place.
Okay.
So then we're going to start adding some ingredients.
So, the cool thing about this is that I don't need to measure.
It's going to tell me.
So I'm going to start dumping ingredients in, and it will tell me how I'm doing.
So you see that little yellow line that's going up here? That's telling me good job.
Good job.
Good job.
You're almost there.
[beep] Okay.
Stop.
That's pretty cool.
It's giving me instant feedback.
You're doing well.
Stop blending.
Okay, so the next thing is chia seeds.
Now normally, chia sees is something thatI would measure pretty precisely, so let's see.
Ch-ch-ch-chia! Aright, I'm almost at the brink here with chia.
[beep] Aright! So it's telling me I've reached my chia seed max.
The next thing is cocoa powder.
Now I told you guys Vitamix is the one thatput these recipes in, so they're doing it in the correct order.
Liquids first then soft ingredients then frozen fruits.
So they know what's up.
They're doing it in the correct order for me.
Okay, so cocoa powder.
It's pretty precise.
So I'm being careful and slow.
[ding] Aright! Chocolate in.
Next.
Spinach.
So right now, it's showing me I have zerocalories worth of spinach in.
But once I start adding some spinach.
[laughter] Lenny says my hair is in the way.
Once I start adding some spinach, it'll showme how many calories I'm getting.
So that was two calories of spinach.
Three calories.
Six seven calories of spinach.
I'm obviously not that precise with spinach.
I will eat buckets of spinach.
[ding] Okay.
So 15 calories worth of spinach.
I reached my spinach goal here.
Banana.
With the banana, I can't just put the wholething in because I'm not really sure how much I need here.
So I'm just going to do this until it tellsme that I've reached my max.
Now, obviously once you get more comfortablewith it, you don't have to go nearly as slow.
But I.
[ding].
Want to make sure we doing it right.
Right? Okay, so that was my banana.
And the next thing is frozen blueberries, which I think we have, right Lenny? Yup! Aright.
Frozen blueberries.
[ding] Woah! Oops! So it didn't move up yet, so sometimes, it's okay, sometimes it gets a little confused and thinks you're still going on the banana.
So my bad.
I needed to tell it my banana's out and I'mmoving on to blueberries now.
Now, like I said, it's a total learning process.
So if possible, and this actually is an ingredientthat I can easily scoop out, do that.
Because you don't want your whole thing to be way off.
Obviously it's not the worst if there's afew extra blueberries in there, but.
Okay.
So now that it's highlighted.
The frozen blueberries are highlighted, that'show it knows that I'm on to blueberries here.
Okay, so see how now it's measuring blueberries? C'mon blueberries! [ding] Aright, so it's telling me I'm done with blueberries.
And see how the little line is just right there? I'm actually going to actively choose ice so that it knows that I'm on to the next ingredient here.
So, six ounces of ice.
Ice ice ice! And this is in the right.
The right order here.
Okay? I am ready to blend.
So.
On to the Vitamix is goes.
Okay? [blending] I'm going to blend it for about a minute becausethere's spinach in there.
[blending] This is gonna be good.
I've never made this recipe before.
It looks tasty.
The chia's are getting all smashed up in there.
[blending] Aright, so I blended it.
All good on the blend.
And now I'm going to serve it.
So, what's really cool is when I choose to serve it, I can put this pint glass down.
[beeps] And it just measured it like it did with the blender jar.
It's saying, hey, I know there's a pint glass on me now.
And I'm going to pour my serving and it's going to tell me when I'm almost there.
Okay, so that black line means you hit your serving.
So.
That's my serving limit.
I've got almost 13 ounces and 116 calories.
So you know what? I want a little bit more.
I'm willing to go to about 140 calories on this here.
So, aright, perfect.
If someone is tracking that specifically, that's the best way possible know exactly how many calories of what you're making you have.
So, the last thing that you can do that'sreally cool is track that serving.
So I've got 140 servings, and that is beingfed into my Apple Health app.
So if I pull up that app, I can see all of the carbs that I had and all the fiber thatI had and the sugar, etc.
So.
It's a really, really cool product.
We'll be back with probably more of theselittle features that are cool.
But the last thing I want to mention is thatyou can actually add in your own recipes.
So one of our favorites, cashew queso, we added into here.
We've got our PB&J smoothie right here.
So I've added this in.
This is one of our favorites.
At some point we'll show you how to do that, too.
But this is a pretty cool addition to your Vitamix.
If you're a Vitamix lover and you're a fitness app tracker, this is a really, really cool addition to your Vitamix collection.
So read our review, see how we messed withthis a little bit more.
But, thanks for joining us! Bye! [music] So I'm really excited to try this, and I just wanted to mention that we have a full review with more stuff that we really love about this product, and also some stuff that wewish that it would do.
And maybe it will get there.
But click the link below.
That's going to give you that full review, all of our thoughts on the Vitamix Perfect Blend at lifeisnoyoke.
Com.
Let's try it.
Can I have some? It's really good.
Can I have some? Yeah.
Is it perfect? It's perfect!.

Review: So sánh máy xay Vitamix pro 750 và Blendtec Totol Blender với quả táo
Hello friends.
Today I will make a test with 1 apple and 1 cup of water to see better Vitamix or Blendtec First we checked the machine faster and then puree the food park I give 2 apples in a blender and pour 2 cups water 1 on each machine.
Then cover We have one small problem here is Blendtec can not reach maximum speed immediately But conversely, it has flexible settings So I will increase the speed by hand and let's see what happens I will not set the run mode before because we really want to see done on time grinder So here we go We've seen what the Vitamix and Blendtec do The original intuition seems better Vitamix This is the apple pieces in the jar of Blendtec And this is the Vitamix, they seem smaller But to be more precise, I will filter through one sieve We started before the Vitamix offline Not too many runs Next to it I will crush sieving, as you see it's really not too much residues And this is the Blendtec I think there is less residue than Vitamix Blendtec There are quite a lot of debris not pass through the sieve I think Vitamix the winner today I hope I gave you interesting experiment, and hope you enjoy this video www.

New Post has been published on Healthy Cooking Review
New Post has been published on http://healthcookingreview.com/ninja-ultima-blender-vs-nutribullet-900w-review/
Ninja Ultima Blender Vs Nutribullet 900w Review
Ninja Ultima Blender Vs Nutribullet 900w Review
So I’ve just bought myself a NinjaUltima blender – just as powerful as the more expensive blenders i looked on themarket at 1500 watts but less than a third of the price.
Is this thing just as good as them or is it just a cheap pretender? Stay tuned to find out! So in the box you get a jug a motor twocup two lids and also an extra blade which enables you to use this thing as afood processor the extra cup doesn’t hold as much as a jug because it’s justdesigned for smaller smoothies or general food processing so if you wantto do something small like make peanut butter or make breadcrumbs or something like that so it’s like a food processor and a blender depending on what your needs are.
Blade in their.
Pretty sharp, obviously on the side you’ve got up to 2100 millilitres, slot it on like that and then this goes on top like so and then the lid.press that down. you can feel the suction takes a bit of strength to lock it down but that’s all good and then click at the end then you’re ready to blend! whoahh sounds like a beast! It actually sounds like a car, ya know, one of those SUVs press down you’ve got the pulse, press up you got the start stop so if you press up and leave it it will goif you press up again it’ll stop, if you just press down for a quick little pulse that’s it pretty much you got the speeds here one to ten pretty straightforward really anyone could use this and then whenyou have the smaller head which I will show you now this is like the Nutribullet sort of cup which is this.
Magic Bullet Nutribullet Pro 900 Blender/Mixer (15 Piece Set)
List Price: $99.99
Price: $99.99
You Save: N/A
It’s so small gives you 400 milliliters of liquid.
Blade there just like the Nutribullet put that together like that obviously, slot the little things in there and I think I didn’t click it that way soyou click it to the left and then you’re ready to go ahh that’s interesting – so you can only pulse withthis smaller one you can’t do the start/stop function.
That’s quite interesting, so maybe because it’s I don’t know maybe youdon’t need as much power on it and to avoid people over using or burningit to shreds maybe you can only pulse on this thing because I suppose you’re only filling up something this big you don’t really need to blend it forthat long so let me compare it to the Nutribullet, this is my Nutribullet which I’vehad for about a year-and-a-half now it’s been doing the job but the problem I had is that when i do my bigger shakes like with vegetables and oats and so on the nutribullet gets full pretty quickly so I needed something bigger this one’s I think it’s 900 what is it?.
900w maximum.
It does the job pretty well this one but i just wanted something a bit stronger you get this you’re the cup a lot bigger than thisone I mean you could pretty much fit this one inside there so that’s much more than 400 ml but it’s very easy to overfill this Nutribullet, theNutribullet is only recommended for small shakes, I mean, you can’t fit maybe 250 grams of kale and then put some oats in there and some protein powder and so on so you’re very limited with what you can with the Nutribullet and then yeahI mean think about it if you’ve got it up to about there it will start overflowingand then you get things like this happen.
where it spills out and it goes into the actual nutribullet.
Many times I’ve had the nutribullet over fill and spill out and then I’ve got these stains here which is not very pretty to the eye but itgives you an idea of what can happen if you overfill your nutribullet so like i said i’ve had the nutribullet for about a year and a bit now it works very well sometimes these things can burn out so I’ve had to replace this this is the actual second one I’ve had to order.
So make sure it’s lined up, click.
there you have it.
Works pretty well, that is the more expensive one the 900w one, it will crush up pretty much everything you need it to andvery powerful but like i said i needed something that will hold more food soI’m gonna make a little shake basically this is the first time I’m using it so this will be like a live testing of this and I have got all my ingredients together it’s gonna be whey, going to put in maybe a handful of these frozen blackberries got my avocado banana and some yoghurt and then two scoopsof oats of course you got your juice and s omekale and some spinach spinach and oi oi! we got a little cucumberthis is about a quarter of a cucumber Think, that’s 400 ml and that’s allthat pretty much holds maximum fullness is 400 milliliters on that so what Ijust put in there up to about there is the maximum that the little minishake pulse thing does put the whey in, get this big tub out of the whey (joke)sorry I’ll put one scoop in, one-and-a-half? yeahhh let’s put one-and-a-half ok blackberries, I love blackberry, generous amount oats, let’s put two scoops of oats bosh boshyeah if you can see here some stuff accumulates their.
Banana and let’sput the avocado in, green vegetables typical and spinach in there how much I put in probably a handful of each and obviously it reduces when you put in to steam upto put the steam cook it so take that pretty full and it’s going to get fuller because I’ve still got to put the yogurt in there and well you know the water aswell so yeah this thing has this column this blade column that goes all the way through it so I’m thinking it won’t just blend the stuff that’s right at the bottom it will actually blend the stuff that’s midway in so you should have actually should actually get an even blend, look at the cucumber just sitting in there chillin’ , I decided to put the cucumber in whole instead of chopping it up just tosee the capabilities of this thing, obviously if it struggles I’ll chop it up but yeah this isan experiment got about 400 ml of water in this so that should take us to about a 800 mlof actual water liquid i should say and I think with that I’m ready to blend soyeah this is real reality TV right here another good thing I havenoticed so far about this is that the lid it takes some real strength to getit on and there’s actually a bit of suction like when you lift it outyou can feel that suction as it is just really reassuring this is that it’s reallyreassuring like like other blenders I’ve had have had this plasticky sort of lid that doesn’t really give you reassurance that if it’s the blender shook a bit toomuch that you wouldn’t get a face full of gunk so anyway i’ll start off at one see how it goes so.
yeah see how it looks ok so wheres my spoon? a bit gunky, dunno if you can see that a bit gunky? going to whizz it again maybe about five and see what happens strength you need some upper arm upperbody strength to get this lid on which is always good.
Erm yes let’s go onething I’ve noticed just now is that when I did that I felt the floorvibrating with the nutribullet I didn’t feel that so yeah I guess this motor is really powerful because it’s sending shockwaves to the floor and thethe goth guy downstairs isn’t gonna like that! So I’m gonna go to 10 actually let me see what the goop is like.
(struggles) Let’s just inspect it, actually is really smooth the cucumber’s gone yeah that’s a lot smoother than it wasat one let’s keep going to see how out how wellit does strong click and then let’s go again this is at ten it is the strongest setting, going to give it at least 10 seconds and hope that the guy downstairs doesn’t come up and tell me to keep it down, so let’s go ok so i think that’s done and I am goingto pour into a jug that you can see how smooth it is and make your own judgmentas to whether this is something that you would want to invest in and show youwhat it looks like coming off the spoon actuallyreally smooth I’m impressed you’ve got a bit of erm goop you’ve got a little like isaid earlier a bit of this stuff that collects here to the really a problem ifyou’re a perfectionist you might not like that I dunno and yeah let me pourthis out i’m gonna need to change the camera angle so let’s get this off nice little click there aswell so it doesn’twork without the the the jug attached which is always a good safety feature you wouldn’t want this thing spinning if you had alittle baby or something okay so this is my jug I’m going to pour in there and see whatit’s like so here goes.
Quite a weighty blend OK here goes quite smooth, let’s continue you can see it’s not very lumpy at all actually really smooth and it’s given me enough for that which is that’s justover 1 liter and now i’m going to fill out my nutribullet drug so yeah that is really smooth I’m impressed at that as i was mentioning before about the nutribullet you can’t filll it up as much as you could with a jug blender.
And this is probably the amount that you can fill up a nutribullet to without it overflowing actually a bit generous you could probably fill up to about that much without overflowing so that’s obviouslya problem because that’s pretty much that volume is probably less than the amount of just used in shake so yeah probably about 800 ml there andyeah not much but if you’re just someone just doing quick little smoothies it’snot really a problem for you so yeah that was my review of the ninjaUltima blender i would say i’m really impressed with this so far and i’m goingto be doing a lot more shakes with it if it’s something you want to buy check out the link in the description and maybe get one for yourself i paid £99.
Ninja Ultima Blender Plus (BL830)
List Price: $259.99
Price: N/A

99 for this so less than ahundred quid the only ones comparable to this which I thought weredecent enough to consider buying was a Blendtec and the Vitamixones they were coming in at least 350 pounds so this one being about hundred pounds i went for and I don’t regret going for it one bit I mean that was my first blend buthopefully it will keep going and it won’t break or anything like that but thereviews for this one seemed pretty good and yes i’m optimistic for the future soyeah that was my review of the Ninja Ultima blender hopefully it’ll help you.
If it has helped youdon’t forget to drop a like on this video and i’ll check your on the nextone! Peace! :).

Food Processor vs. Blender: Raw FAQs
Hi.
I’m Laura-Jane The Rawtarian fromtherawtarian.
Com and this is just a quick video to answer one of your most frequentlyasked questions which is regarding food processors and blenders and do you really need them both.
So what I’m going to give you is the overall scoop if you’re going raw and what you need.
So, clearly, number 1, if you are trying to go raw today and in your kitchen you haveabsolutely nothing, well then you’re just going to have your cutting board and knifeand you’re going to be good to go.
But realistically, we want you to take the next step which wouldbe to get a blender and/or a food processor.
Now clearly, I would recommend you to getboth of those things on day 1.
They don’t have to be expensive.
You’ll know that I’ma huge fan of a high speed blender called the Vitamix and definitely that’s goingto be your long term solution is to get an amazing blender but just getting started, just use any blender that you can get.
So basically, what I would suggest to start offwith is to get one blender and one food processor on day 1.
Either of those things don’t haveto be too expensive.
A food processor could be around $50 and a blender could be aroundeven as low as $25.
Now the quality is definitely going to vary especially in the blender.
But why do you need both of those things? Don’t they do the same thing? They bothhave blades.
Well, what I like to use to explain it is this smoothie.
See how the smoothieis very liquidy and it is very moist? Well, a blender is what you’re going to use tomake things that are very liquidy for lack of a more technical term, whereas a food processor, you’re going to use that to make things that are drier or more dry.
So that may bea pie crust.
That might be a cracker batter.
A variety of things like that.
So that’swhy I want you to get both of those things right away so you can make smoothies and soupsand sauces and pudding in your blende.
And in your food processor, you can make raw foodrecipes like, as I mentioned, pie crust, brownies, cracker batter.
What else do I use in my foodprocessor? A whole whack of things.
I also make some chunkier spaghetti sauces or salsasand things like that in my food processor.
So that is really what I would suggest youwould start with.
Now one thing you may notice if you’re interestedin raw food is that I did not necessarily suggest you get a dehydrator.
So in some morecomplex dehydrator recipes, you will—sorry.
In some more complex raw food recipes, youwill notice that they’re calling for a dehydrator which essentially just dries out the foodso that you can take up really wet—whoops, my lemon!—a really wet veggie burger pattyand then pop it in the dehydrator, and it will get all the moisture removed from thepatty so it’s going to be nice and dry and get that texture that you might really misslike cracker texture or pizza crust texture.
Dehydrating and a dehydrator is an additionalexpenditure which you may not be up for.
But number 2, I definitely suggest you hold offon dehydrating until you have tried tons of recipes in your food processor and your blenderand really only add the dehydrator when you are just so sick of having hundreds of smoothiesbecause you may have on every morning so hundreds can add up fast.
So for example, with me,I got a blender first, for sure.
A crappy little one.
And I burnt that one out reallyquickly.
The motor died because I was using it multiple times per day.
Then soon after,I definitely got a food processor.
But then I think for me, about 6 months later, I upgradedand got the Vitamix which was very expensive but totally worth it because it can pulverizean avocado seed into a drinkable drink.
But then I didn’t get a dehydrator probablymaybe until—I can’t remember exactly—it was probably in 2009.
After the Vitamix, Ibelieve.
So maybe 8 months after I’ve been totally raw.
And I think that transition isgood because I got really used to using my food processor, using my blender, and thenlater I was able to add more excitement into my raw food recipes by using my dehydrator.
So that’s a general overview of some equipment and the order that you should get them in.
But if you’re just watching this and you’re just staring out today, I want to encourageyou to just use whatever you have in your kitchen.
So frequently, I’ve got a ton ofdifferent recipes at my website at therawtarian.
Com and it’ll clearly tell you which piece ofequipment to use and just use whatever you’ve got on hand today but makes plans to upgradein the future.
So thank you so much for joining me.
I lookforward to seeing over at therawtarian.
Com and I’m really appreciative of having youhere.
So have a wonderful day.

New Post has been published on http://healthcookingreview.com/how-to-make-vitamix-frozen-desserts/
How to Make Vitamix Frozen Desserts
The best part about dinner is dessert.
I'm here with Chef Adam in the Vitamix headquarters and he's gonna show me how to make a two-ingredient,dairy-free frozen dessert.
[music] Yes.
Excellent.
So big key about frozen dessertsis it's a ratio.
-The ratio!-The ratio.
One cup of liquid.
It could be almond milk, which we have here.
If you wanted yogurt, you could use yogurt.
If you wanted orange juice, you could useorange juice.
We were originally going to use yogurt.
And I'm like, Adam, dude, I don't eat anydairy, at all.
He's like, woah, you don't need to.
You canuse almond milk.
I'm like, are you serious? I didn't know that.
Perfect! -Almond milk.
-Almond milk.
And then, easiest way.
A pound of berries.
Frozen strawberries, right in there.
So two ingredients, you can keep that in there.
And then you have your milk.
Perfect.
So, tamper ready.
We're gonna use the frozendessert program so that it's nice and easy.
We're gonna use the tamper.
How you tamper, you might need less time.
So I tamper really well.
It's really quick.
I want to be done with it.
So probably less time.
If you don't use the tamper as effectively, then you could use the full time.
So, get it all ready.
Turn it on.
Start processing it through.
[blending] So going to the corners.
Works out perfectly.
In the corners, pushing it on the inside.
And you hear that gurgle, the grinding.
Perfect.
[blending] It sounds bad.
But it's actually good.
It'sa good sound.
Yes.
[blending] So as we are looking at it, it's pretty muchready.
I'm just making sure the seeds are processedthrough on the strawberries.
So we can go with that now.
Did we let the program run? I stopped it a little early because I canwatch it.
Cause you're good with the tamper.
You wanna do it over your head? Yeah! Okay, it's a god thing it worked cause wehave more work to do and I'm wearing a white shirt.
-Wow!-So nice and solid frozen.
-Works perfectly.
-Incredible.
Scoop it out.
Ready to go.
-That is beautiful.
-That is perfect.
If you're going to do this ahead of time,pre-portion them like that then set them in the freezer.
Don't put it in a container because it's notaerated enough.
So it will freeze solid in another container.
So then you won't be able to scoop it easilyor things like that.
So pre-portion them.
Set them out.
Then when you're ready to serve it after dinneror whatever, pull it out five or ten minutes early so it softens up.
-So you can eat this right now.
-Right.
And it would be delicious and frozen.
Yes, I want to eat this right now.
Yum! I can taste the insides of the strawberries.
And you could also add toppings to this ifyou want.
-Like chocolate.
-You could add chocolate.
You could add some sweeteners if you wantedto.
So honey is always a great sweetener.
Or vanilla extract, vanilla bean, things likethat.
Some people like it really sweet, they mightwant to add honey.
Yeah, this is just a great, simple dessert.
If you have the two ingredients, you can switch out whatever kind of berry you wanted also,as long as you have a pound of the berries, then you're good.
Amazing.
And, is any different if you havethe squat container like on a Pro 750? It will work with this ratio.
The one-to-one.
The one cup to one pound.
But, it doesn't funnel through and doesn'tprocess well.
So we go one and a half cup to one and a halfpound to make sure we're getting that flow.
The vortex coming through, getting the moundsgoing, things like that.
So, again, we're looking at it, one and ahalf cups vs pound and a half.
So this is where, like, if you have a largerfamily or something like that.
You know, you're like, okay, we're gonna eatthis all, or I'm going to pre-portion it.
-So, yeah, if you have a dinner party.
-Yeah.
This is the great last-second addition.
You know, you might be like, hey, you knowwhat, just pull this out, you're done in 20 seconds.
-Super simple.
-Yeah.
You're impressing all your friends.
Making it fresh.
You don't even need to haveit ready.
It's impressive just to do the demonstration for everyone.
Pull it out.
Put the berries right in, andyou're good to go.
-Aright.
-So.
Again.
We're using the frozen dessert program.
And so again, just processing it through.
The good thing about using frozen berries instead of ice is that it actually is creamierthan if you're using ice.
[blending] -So again, a little bit faster, nice and solid.
-Perfect.
So as you work with it, it's really simpleand easy to do.
Aright.
Frozen desserts with a Vitamix.
Twoingredients.
-Super easy.
-Super easy.
Non-dairy.
And if you're not doing it today, it's cool.
Because Life is NOYOKE.
That's it.
Let's eat.
[beep] -Don't give me that filthy look.
-He's processing.
That's my thinking face.
Yeah.
[beep] That was great.
Really good.
And this is delicious.

How to Clean Your Blender
[MUSIC] One of the best things about the Vitamixmachine is that it cleans itself in 60 seconds or less andyou don't have to remove the blade or take it apart in any way.
Just fill the containerhalfway with warm water and add a couple of dropsof washing up liquid.
Start with the dial on one andthen turn to its highest speed.
Let the machine run for 30 to 60 seconds.
The power of the machine helps removeresidue from around the blade and the sides of the container.
Pour the soapy water over the lid andrinse well.
If needed, wipe the base ofthe machine with a soft damp cloth and it's ready to use again.

How to Make Flours in a Blender
[MUSIC] You can make homemade flour in yourVitamix machine using your favorite whole grains, like wheat, rice, oats, or spelt.
So it's easy to make baked treats and gluten-free recipescompletely from scratch.
I've turned the dial to variable one.
Then I'll press start andslowly increase the speed to high.
The longer the machine runs, the finer the flour will be.
And this takes just a minute.
[NOISE] Your flour will keep at roomtemperature for about a month or in the fridge for two andyou can freeze it for up to a year.
So you always have homemade wholegrain flours whenever you need it.

How to Make Dips & Spreads in a Blender
[MUSIC] The Vitamix machine canblend almost anything, so you can make a huge array of dips andspreads.
A lot of recipes call forwhole ingredients like chickpeas or artichoke hearts.
So just use the tamper as necessary toguide everything towards the blade.
The longer you run the machine, the finer the blend.
So if you want a chunkier, more rustictexture, just process for less time.
Vitamix dips and spreads are a simple wayto pull together a quick evening meal of sandwiches or wraps.
Or a last minute starter forwhen you have friends round for dinner.

How to Make a Rainbow Smoothie in a Vitamix Pro 750 Blender
Hi guys, it's Tommy here at Raw Blend Today, I'm going to have a bit of fun in the kitchen I'm going to make a Rainbow Smoothie This is a recipe I've been wanting to make for years It's a little bit tricky so I've been putting it off Today we're going to give it a shot – we'll see how we go Here across the bench I've got 7 Vitamix containers There may be 1 or 2 down the end out of the shot They're all the different colours of the smoothie We've got the Pink smoothie which we've got beetroot in Red smoothie with Raspberries, Orange with carrot Green, yellow To make our blue smoothie, we've actually used a bit of food dye and right down to our purple smoothie They're all different coloured smoothie layers we're going to put them on top of each other and see if we can make a beautiful looking recipe Alright, we've finished blending all of our different layers I've very carefully just put each single layer into a smoothie glass, one by one I spooned it in, so it took a little bit of time I think the results are pretty cool We've got 3 amazing rainbow smoothies here I'll try it in a minute.
Happy Blending! Today I'm going to make for you, a super delicious, Vegan Chocolate Pudding This is great for anyone who wants to get rid of the normal base of an avocado or nuts.
