every splatfest is on a weekend which means i'm always stuck playing game of dice at the same time

the inklings are based on my playable inkling from each game

i like to consider them all their own person, especially since i consider them the agents in my world. they are all cousins. i say Xay is the one i consider closest to me (especially since the inkling version of me uses almost the same hair style) so they're the one playing the game :)

their appearance is what i used in each game. their colors are their game's color.

they're all team past cause i'm team past. in character tho: Rey and Jae would mainly pick it for the squid sisters, and Xay just wants to be on the same team as their cousins for the grandfest.

left to right, names are based on aliases i've had. they are all pronounced the same:

Xay (S3 - they/them, name is pronounced "zay")

Rey (S1 - she/they, name is pronounced "ray")

Jae (S2 - she/her, name is pronounced "jay")

they're all wearing the now or never gear i think they'd wear. Rey keeps her glasses (black arrowbands) cause they actually need them to see.

their main gear is all the main gear i wore in each game, but Xay and Jae aren't wearing them here for the grandfest.

Jae is just vibing and having fun :)

Are Xytil and Chin-Jee kind of like a trashier version of Tamaki/Haruhi? I'm coming to realise that.

Is this a reverse harem where there's only the one girl with seven boys? I'm also coming to realise that, but listen, I was 11 when I wrote this story (also it's not like they're all in love with Chin-Jee, far from it).

[Disclaimer that I had not seen or read or heard of Ouran at 11. In fact, it probably didn't even exist, so I guess this manga speaks to my aesthetic sense a lot]

The boys all live in a hidden city made of precious stones, being young and silly and doing hijinks, and Chin-Jee arrives and disrupt their lives with stuff like quests and prophecies while being all weird and intense and having a mysterious past.

It's a lot of fun!
