Young justice robin

As a Batman fan originally, anytime a gotham villain shows up in young justice all I can think about is how Robin feels interacting with the people who he's been fighting a large part of his life. Obviously he's used to them, but at the same time now he has people who's not used to them watching and helping.

I imagine it feels like your friends from one school meet friends from another.

And obviously at this point Jason wasn't even Robin yet, but during the battle with the Injustice League in season one we hear joker make some comments about always wanting to tear up a robin.

I HC that dick has almost every major battle locked away in his mind, including that one. So when Jason is killed those comments replay on his mind in a way blaming himself.

robins first broken bone

When dick broke a bone on a patrol for the first time it didn't go over very well. Of course it couldn't a small break for his first big injury, instead some stupid low rank criminal had broken three of his ribs.

All Dick could do was lay there whining and groaning from pain, bruce and him had trained yes. He also had years of acrobatic accidents under his belt. But this pain, and fear all at once was new to him, and it was terrifying.

It wasn't much better for bruce. He's gotten injured on his own plenty of times, but this was the kid he was in charge of, who he was supposed to keep safe. Seeing him in so much pain scared him. So he did what he does best when scared, finished off the battle before rushing dick home.

If dick was pampered and put on bed rest for a week after that's their business and no one elses.

young justice idea

I'm rewatching young justice, and immediately on the first episode my first thought was: what if Robin, aqualad, and kid flash had been killed in this episode or better situation they were only severely injured.

Batman for sure would have committed crimes not only in mourning but also y'know, huge criminal organization.

Aquaman while upset I think would be more focused on the criminal organization part

Flash would have been fucked up emotionally 100%.
