100% agree!

We resonate with misceverse as an identity and social interactions thing

It's 100% non-sexual for all of us

I (🩶) am a sex-adverse ace-spec, 🩷 doesn't incorporate misce into its sex life, and 🖤 is a sex-repulsed asexual

Many misce do include dynamics in the bedroom, and they're 100% valid - you don't pick and choose when your identity exists

But misceverse isn't just sex, non-sexual misce exists and is wonderful and just as valid <3

As an A-Spec Misce person, I just wish people believed me when I say: Omegaverse is not inherently sexual.

I've seen more than once posts of people, granted most were from people that dislike or are not acquainted with omegaverse and its nuances enough, about how Omegaverse is just a kink. And like, it isn't? Sure, it CAN be, I'm not arguing that point.

But to say it's JUST that, it's a real disservice to the conversation innit? And rather limiting also.

Omegaverse offers many other things that have nothing to do with sexual interactions. I wish more people could see that.

My mate is an alpha and I will tear the throat out of anyone and anything that talks shit about it for being an alpha

It is doting, always cuddling up to me to keep me warm, generous with its affection and love

It is clever, maybe not book smart, but people smart, navigating social situations with a grace that awes me

It is confident, bold, beautiful - when it walks into a room, you KNOW and stare in wonder

I am the luckiest omega in the world, to have the attention of such an amazing alpha - alphas (and betas, though I don't have a beta in my life) are not lesser, just something to be used as attack/guard dog (alphas) or only exist in the context of supporting other dynamics (betas) - they are their own, complex people who deserve love and acknowledgement

I know there's more to it but I think a large contributing factor to why way more people identify as omegas and even betas more than they do alphas is because some of the baseline general consensus traits for them are so boring and/or negative. Omegas build soft nests, , purr all the time, and smell like flowers while alphas are big aggressive macho meatheads who smell like motor oil.

I have acquired a pup...

Contrary to omega stereotypes, I have zero parental instincts

While I would never hurt them, I have no desire for my own pups, generally dislike others' pups, and have no skills relating to rearing pups

However, I have just received my first ever tamagotchi

And oh boy have this awakened something in me

I still don't want any IRL pups, but I have been overcome with such strong protect-provide-care instincts for the little tech pet

hi! not a coining post but I noticed three people already using my version of miscecanis scent flags and that’s SO COOL! if anyone is interested in using my template, I’ve created an easier to edit version with individual layers below

to use- I make my flags in ibis paint so the easiest way is to export the first completed flag and then export all the individual layers, it should line up perfectly

disclaimer- this is by no means the only template you can use for scent flags, this one was unintentionally inspired by omegai’s typical scent flags and I’ve seen a bunch that have really unique symbols and are nothing like this. you are welcome to edit this template as you like, change the number of stripes, etc [edit: noticed a missed like a whole sentence here somehow, fixed now lol]
