c!Dream: listen, I know what you might be thinking this one so obvious is The Web. Well I would typically agree, but I feel like there’s just something more to this one, you know. Like The Web is very fitting, depending on which version of c!Dream you like to look at. Idk if that’s true but that’s just what I’ve noticed based off seeing c!Tommy fans talking about c!Dream and c!Dream fans but I digress, not the time for that huge can of worms. I could also vaguely see The Hunt but all and all, he’s both The Web and The Hunt, just The Hunt isn’t as strong.

c!Tommy: The Lonely is what I think fits best for him. He spends all of his time just trying to get someone to stay or stick with him, while simultaneously pushing people away. He’s trying with everyone he can but he ends up alone, either by his own doing or because of the actions of the people around him. Even for the people who tried to stick by his side aka Tubbo, he still manages to push him away/have Tubbo push Tommy away.

c!Tubbo: The Extinction fits Tubbo’s vibes in my humble opinion. Obviously the nukes are a big contributor to this thought but the Extinction has a lot to do with humanity destroying itself or catastrophic change which I also think does fit c!Tubbo. The absolute change of personality he’s gone through just overtime and the way he watches the server destroy itself/how he destroys himself really seems to me that the Extinction fits the vibes.

c!Wilbur: The Desolation/Spiral are the contenders here. I think both for pretty clear reasons so I don’t have to go too in depth here. Wilbur loses his mind throughout Pogtopia before having a quite explosive end. The Desolation’s whole thing is the fear of destruction and burning etc but especially for a senseless cause, now sure, you could say that Wilbur blowing up Pogtopia wasn’t a senseless thing to do but in my mind it sure was. The Spiral is pretty obvious, the way Wilbur loses his mind but I think The Desolation is first because once he comes back, he doesn’t want to change, he doesn’t want to be anything less than destructive.

c!Ranboo: I think The Stranger fits pretty well for Ranboo. He always feels like something isn’t right and I’m sure the short term memory loss isn’t helpful. Idk the words to explain my thinking and reasoning which I guess does fit perfectly for this entity… If anyone gets what I’m trying to say, please. I will edit later when I remember what the fuck I was trying to say.

c!Techno: The Slaughter/The Hunt. I am a solid believer in both because I live in a world where things are easy lmao. Anyway, I think it is a mix of both simply because Techno isn’t fully just unmotivated violence, there is a reason for it. If anyone can link that speech that Techno gave Quackity over hunting, it kinda proves my hunt point. On the other side of the coin, he literally has blood thirsty voices in his head, is there anything more slaughter coded?

c!Philza: The End is what I think fits best, perhaps even The Vast. Obviously his ties to The Goddess Of Death really help my point for the End but idk why but Philza gives this vibe of the dsmp’s wars and skirmishes are really pointless in the grand scene of things which is very Vast coded. I think Phil would be more connected to The End after Wilbur died and became very connected after Doomsday. Idk just some thoughts.

c!Quackity: I’m stuck between the Hunt and The Flesh. I’m leaning more toward Flesh because of how he acts during his casino days. Paranoid but still cunning if that makes sense. A mix of Hunt and Flesh. It’s both mostly vibes, I’m getting so tired writing this that I will probably edit and add more tomorrow.

Last Thoughts: The Dream Smp in its entirety is a Fear Domain and nobody can tell me otherwise. Both Pandora’s Vault and Logstedshire are Lonely Coded. The Egg is obviously Corruption Coded. If you have any characters you want to hear me rant about in more detail that I haven’t gone over or characters I’ve already spoke about here, send me an ask!

Thoughts on season 1 of the Magnus Archives:

Jon is pretty fucking funny when he’s acting like he doesn’t believe in the supernatural stories. Like why would you choose to work there if you didn’t believe it???

Martin my beloved. He deserved better than the worms and him and Jon should kiss already

Elias… hate that guy with a burning passion, totally had something to do with Gertrude’s death. Also just annoying.

Tim is chill, don’t have much thoughts on him.

Sasha is amazing imo. Especially in episode 26, I support her. Also get NotSasha out of here. Well, I’m assuming at least that it’s not her.

Gerard Keay my GUY. He’s just a guy looking for books and burning things. Again, I support fully. Who doesn’t love some arson with your literature.

Michael Distortion, I think he’s my favorite so far. I don’t even know why. (Gerard is second fav) He’s clearly a creature yet he vibes. He bought flowers, got some coffee, talked in cryptic riddles. Who doesn’t love?

Worm Lady deserves no reaction from me /j. Idk she was good villain but didn’t really interest me as a character.

All in all, I’m loving it and I’m halfway through season 2 so I’ll update once I finish. I’m loving the entities and all the callbacks, it’s so fun.

I’ve decided I want to say something. I’m going to try to see things equally as I talk about it but I will acknowledge my bias toward Tommy. He is and has been a favorite creator of mine and I want people to know that I acknowledge that I might say bias things and to take that into account.

I watched Dream’s stream three times. Once when Dream streamed, Kwite’s stream and Tubbo’s stream. I also would like to acknowledge that they both tried to give him the benefit of the doubt many times and Kwite and Tubbo tried to reach out to him. Also my apologies if I miss anything important in the stream, please just let me know if any of what I say is incorrect.

Firstly and foremost, I will say that Tommy should have backed down with the pedo jokes or stopped altogether. It just doesn’t look good, I’m sorry. I have watched Dream’s “The Truth” video before and tried to look into it myself and I honestly don’t believe that those allegations are true.

I will say that I am not in any way, shape or form okay with telling someone to kill themselves. It’s just not who I am and I don’t like how widespread of a thing that is nowadays. I understand other Tommy fans are upset but god fucking damn it that’s not okay to do toward anyone. I made this post earlier but leave Techno’s name out of this. I am absolutely disgusted by the fans that made “Dream SA” comments toward his fans and how he was going to SA them. It’s gross and you don’t look like a good person.

I have my grievances with Tommy fans but that’s not what I wanna say right now. I didn’t like when Dream was making any sort of sexual remark toward any of the minors. Like in this stream with Tubbo’s sister around 39:55 to 40:02, he made a weird joke about her respawning in Vik’s house. Idk if anyone else cares but that made me uncomfy personally, there was no need to say that. Or this Dream and Tommy interaction, maybe this isn’t as much of a big deal, they were friends and Tommy joked about it but it made me uncomfortable. I would like to specify again that these are my personal grievances with Dream. Or when Tommy joined the server for the first time and Dream and George had him do the crafting table bit which was a reference to sex, that was not cool, Tommy was 16, a minor, it just doesn’t feel okay to me at all. Also he had no clue what the joke was, he did what they asked him to do. Those are my main examples of that.

Also Dream skipping over all the important criticisms that Tubbo was giving him only to act shocked at not having context. It kind of irked me, I don’t know if it was done on purpose or not but either way, Tubbo reacted to the whole thing and Dream couldn’t be asked to do the same, slightly disappointing.

His statement on Aimsey really made me upset. Calling them a mastermind when they only tried to support their friend was a very odd choice. I have no knowledge on the George drama if anyone does please let me know.

Saying people hated him for playing a villain character on the Dsmp is kinda crazy. I believe that most fans can differentiate reality from fiction. No, I don’t think that’s why people dislike you Dream, when watching Tubbo’s stream he mentioned that Dream seemed to skip over the important bits of their phone call to focus on the smallest thing. Whether that was done on purpose or not is just not cool. If he wants people to form their own opinions and look into the facts themselves, at the very least give everyone the full facts.

Dream’s mention of the nsfw artwork posted in the discord in the early days of the SMP… I honestly don’t care what anyone else has to say on this point, it is his server and his responsibility to make sure the minors in the server are safe and not exposed to anything. Showing or allowing minors to see nsfw shit is a Crime. I’m sorry to say but that’s a fucking crime. I know Dream didn’t show it but if Tubbo was uncomfortable, it’s his job to make sure that stops. If nobody else was going to be the responsible adult, it’s his discord server and his Minecraft server, he should have some say if not have all the say in keeping minors safe. Even if they asked to be treated like adults which Tubbo doesn’t remember saying at all, YOU DONT TREAT MINORS LIKE ADULTS IN THAT WAY, THAT IS A CRIME.

And at the heart of it all. The R slur. Reclaiming a slur is for deweaponizing the slur. You can Not reclaim a slur by using it against a group of people, that’s the opposite of reclaiming, that’s just using the slur as a slur. I am not down for ANYONE using slurs they can’t reclaim or are weaponizing it. I am not for people calling Dream slurs when all that went down, it’s not okay. I will agree with Tubbo that his drama did kinda outgrow the MCYT community. Different communities have different tolerances on what can and can not be said, I don’t agree with it but that’s the truth. If there were a lot of people in the MCYT community throwing slurs around, I personally don’t want them here. Using slurs if you are weaponizing it is not fucking okay.

These are my personal opinions and thoughts and why I dislike Dream. I’m sorry if this upsets anyone, etc, etc. I might edit this later if I think of anything else.

Since there is no real canon date, you can pick whatever. Personally I prefer viewing canon as the time from the first stream to the day tommy escaped. Simply because I haven't seen anyone with proof of why it would be longer. But i can see the appeal in making it more than that.

That’s a very fair view like I stated before. However, with some people, it’s very hard to have an actual conversation with them. With some fans, they only believe one thing and think everyone else should believe the same. Obviously, it’s not a fair way to think because everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. I think it’s important when doing actual lore discussions to think about what would be the most reasonable timeline of events for Exile.

I think it’s fair to only see it however long cc!Tommy streamed. It just really bothers me when people only see black-and-white and think that their opinion is always right and that they have to force it onto to other people. I don’t know, those people just really bother me. I just think that those five years or five months is a fun way to think about even though it’s most likely just however long he streamed. You have to be able to see things from other people’s point of view, especially when it comes to the characters.

I’m just glad that most of the people I talk to are very nice, but back to what I was actually talking about. I think that every opinion is valuable, especially when doing an analysis. It’s important to get different perspectives of the character. I don’t know, I guess I’m just going on a rant now.

Wait if exile was 5yrs/months how long was dream in pandora??

I believe that Dream was in prison for a year. I mean it’s a pretty agreed upon fact and I’m pretty sure that some cc’s have confirmed that as well. I think when it comes to Exile, it’s pretty wonky. I think because we don’t have a full idea of when it happened. It’s just something I’ve heard people debate a bunch about. Obviously, I’m not trying to spread false information but this is just a lot what I’ve heard.

Exile was pretty different than Pandora’s Vault simply because they’re only two people mainly involved. Obviously there are more with New L’Manberg and everything but involved in main Exile for most of the time was Tommy and Dream. With Pandora’s Vault there was multiple people involved in the making and planning of it. So I think that’s why there’s a more concrete date. Obviously, you can look at it as however long cc!Tommy streamed it. I think that’s pretty fair view too. Also, Pandora’s Vault time is all cc time like IRL time. But still, I do believe this to be the canon time since I haven’t heard anything otherwise.

Plus from what I’ve seen cc!Tommy and cc!Dream never really confirmed a canon date for Exile. Which leads to basically only speculation and fan theories. Not that those are bad but personally, it would be nice to have an actual answer from somebody, but I know that we’re probably never gonna get that so settle for what we got now. Obviously five months is very different from five years, but one year is obviously one year. It’s harder to do a more canon timeline for Exile with everything that happened during that time if we don’t even have a concrete anything really time wise I mean.

Again, if anyone has any other information I would genuinely want to know for that would make my analysis writing and everything else for Exile in specific much easier.

I think that c!Tommy’s ending was not the best for his character. What I mean is the new ending from Jack’s stream. I see many Tommy fans talking about how this ending was “better“ or it was them “moving on“. I really don’t think it was them moving on. I mean Jack is alone in the casino, gambling all the time. Tommy is alone and goes to techno’s house a lot. I think Tubbo might be there, but I’m not sure.

I don’t think Tommy moved on at all. Like, look at how he’s still there when either everyone else “died” or moved on and left. I mean, even though he has his memories and he still alive and the same Tommy that we all know, it just feels wrong for him to still be there. Especially without anyone else there. I just don’t get how being alone and honestly having no one but Tubbo who I believe he only sees occasionally if he’s even there at all, I wasn’t entirely sure, can be seen as “moving on”. Not that I’m trying to make a dig at anyone else, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I mean, nobody is there to help and support him anymore. If the nukes really didn’t blow up, it makes sense why people would move away. I personally wouldn’t want to be there any longer than I had to, especially with such hard memories etched into that land. It just feels kinda hopeless even though Tommy says he’s getting better or he’s getting there whatever the quote was, can you really move on from everything he’s experienced by yourself. Again, this is all just my opinion and the way I see healing and moving on.

being alone, in my opinion, would make you worse. There’s no one around like I’ve stated before. To me, it makes sense that only those three would be left. It feels like those are the three that would have the hardest time moving on. The ones who still need to heal from everything that happened. We saw that Niki chose to try and move on instead of killing Tommy, since she joined the syndicate. Jack from what I’ve seen, but to be fair, I haven’t watched a lot of his content lore wise, it’s always seemed to me that he would be the one between those two to not move on.

Well, yes, he talks to Tommy and he has grown and healed slightly for he trusts Tommy, he lets Tommy lead him on the exile bridge in the nether. I believe that’s where he died at one point. Tommy pushed him into the lava yet he still allows Tommy to lead him on that bridge again. I’m not trying to say that they haven’t healed at all, that they haven’t tried to move on. Jack came back from hell out of pure spite, I don’t think it would be easy to move on when you’ve been motivated for that long out of spite.

Tubbo, I’m not really sure about in the case of where he is during this lore stream. However, if he is there, which I’m assuming he is somewhere, he lost his husband, I’m assuming Michael is gone, which leaves him alone or in this case only with Tommy. Not that I’m saying that’s a bad thing, but it must feel impossible to move on with that sort of grief.

Tommy, I mean, where do I even start? Tommy has been through hell. He suffered a lot and that wouldn’t be something he could most likely heal from on his own. Sorry, I’m kind of rambling, but I just wanted to put my thoughts out there. All in all, I just feel like this ending isn’t as happy or satisfying as a lot of people make it out to be. Again, this is all my thoughts and opinions. I’m not really looking to argue with people about this. If you want to be civil, you can drop by my ask box and let me know what you think.
