No because it’s actually insane how much I love the Maze Runner and how much the series still affects me, three years after I first watched and read it. Anything can remind me of it, absolutely anything and my brain will just spiral into a rabbit hole of Maze Runner. This is going to sound really stupid, but Newt’s death physically hurts me, reminders like a red jacket for example or even just seeing a picture of him online make my chest ache. Kind of like I’ve lost a real person I know.

I’m not even kidding when I say that I think about the Maze Runner every single day. I’m even conducting an experiment over the course of this next week or so to find the average of how many times per day I think about it, which sounds insane now that I’m writing it down…

Update on my rewrite: WHOOO! We’re at 10,000 words now! It’s coming along nicely. Slowly, but nicely.

Me: Nothing much, just that I'm going to outlive all my favourite characters and they'll be the same forever and ever and I'll be in my twenties, thirties, forties and I'm so incredibly attached to them all I don't want to grow older I just want to live in my fictional worlds as a teenager forever. It just hurts so much because they almost feel like real people for me and have been there whenever I need to read about them or watch their shows when I'm feeling down and I don't want to lose that.

Edit: Also, thought I'd update on my maze runner netflix theory. The first movie is number 8 on the top 10 - as of April 7th in australia. So it's kind of there but kind of not. Which saddens me.

My hyper fixations always strike at the worst moments. I've got about a billion assessments due this week and next and my brain is like a pendulum going back and forth like: "ASSESSMENTS DUE SOON GET GOING NOW!" and "OMG MAZE RUNNER ON NETFLIX :DD LETS REWRITE THE ENTIRE SERIES!!".

I'm so grateful for the long weekend we just had because I'd be dying without it, I managed to get schoolwork AND make a start on my Maze Runner rewrite. I'm up to 5,000 words so far if anyone's interested lmao...

OH MY GOD I LISTENED TO DEC. 13th 1998 BY RICKY JAMARAZ FOR THE FIRST TIME TWO WEEKS AGO NOW AND I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!!

I love how it tells a story throughout the whole album and I just want to know more about Chester and Marshall. The urge to learn every single song on the guitar from that album is so goddam strong you actually have no idea.

Do you like indie, alternative and folk music that sounds slightly depressing? Do you spend too much time thinking about tragic ships from your favourite fandoms? Well boy do I have the album for you!

Maze Runner Netflix

Gonna sound like a proper conspiracy theorist for a second because this is such a stretch.

Idk if this is just Australian netflix or if its happening everywhere but the Maze Runner Trilogy is coming to Netflix on April 1st. My big grand theory is that we will get a small Maze Runner revival.

Last year we had the Hunger Games prequel - Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes- released into the world and everyone went back to loving the hunger games again. And when people see The Maze Runner, they might think 'oh that's similar to the hunger games which I really enjoyed, I'll take a look.' and BOOM! More Maze Runner fans. I'm just hoping enough people are going to watch this into the Top 10 so that more people watch it and the fandom gets a revival and maybe more newtmas content

Once again, this is such a stretch but I'm hoping for anything at this point.
