Idea for Eevee ghost-type evolution method

Make it evolve with zero HP.

It knocks out a pokemon, gets EXP and level up. Then it battles another pokemon and faints. The battle ends and Eevee with zero HP evolves to... I don't know, Haunteon.

Why Vi "needs" to think Jinx is dead

Yes, "need" might not be the right word. But closes I could get to describe what I mean.

Vi cares so much that it hurts. She almost got killed because she wanted to save the big wolf monster that used to be Vander. And she was ready to break her sister out of jail despite everything.

So even if Jinx's "death" broke her heart, it still gave her closure of a sort. That's why Jinx let her think she blew up with Vander and why Caitlyn haven't told Vi that Jinx could have escaped death.

I love that when Ekko and Heimerdinger worked with other world Powder to make the hextech machine that it has mechanical monkeys. Because Powder XD Heimerdinger: How exactly would that improve the machine, young lady? Powder: How would it NOT improve the machine? It's cute monkeys! Heimerdinger: Well, can't argue with that.

The city of Zaun's greatest enemy is itself

Vander was what prevented war between Zaun and Piltover, then he got betrayed by his own who then followed Silco who is a psychopathic crime lord who made Zaun even more shitty.

Then, Silco died and the crime lords started fighting, dragging the whole underground into their conflict.

And the next person Zaun turns to in hope of salvation is Jinx who A: killed Silco, ruining the delicate balance of Zaun, B: Attacked Piltover as they were about to finally give Zaun independence and C: Is insane and for the most part doesn't really care about anything unless it's directly connected to her.

Arcane, the Butterfly Effect AU

The robbery from the first episode of the tv series is successful in this AU because Powder doesn't find the crystal, she gets distracted by a butterfly. They get home, get an earful from Vander for going topside, but no harm done, no one learns that it was brats from Zaun who did it.

Jayce continue his illegal research in secret, but it gets nowhere without help from Viktor.

Realizing she could have gotten her friends in trouble, Vi finds a new way to use her skills in underground fights.

Powder grows up not as insane, but still mentally unstable. Her inventions are mostly toys, bringing a little joy to the undercity.

Silco has the advantage of shimmer, Piltover doesn't stand a chance when he actually attacks topside. Jayce's mother is killed. In frustration, Jayce attempts to make a weapon powered by a crystal and goes to the underground, but it backfires and kills him as well as a large portion of Silco's men.

Powder finds the crystal-powered weapon. Older and wiser, she unlock its secret.

Shimmer is used in the fight club Vi is in. After hesitation, Vi tries it to keep up with the other brawlers, but she goes bonkers. When she returns to normal, she runs away from Zaun to topside to hide. She gets arrested by Caitlyn.

Vander finally makes an alliance with Silco when he hears that Vi has been arrested, finally uniting the whole underground.

Powder decides to go save her sister with the crystal she made into a weapon. She quickly realize that she enjoys violence. She takes her many many MANY frustrations out on Piltover. Marcus is the first to die when Jinx starts her havoc because he is an overweight stereotype cop who never got anywhere without Silco's "help".

Also, Caitlyn and Vi bonding.

Vi and Caitlyn tries to figure out if Powder can be saved from herself as she cheerful burns the city down.

Heimerdinger is frustrated as he sees everything he worked for burn down around him, wondering if it would have been a better world had he listen to a young man's idea of magic based technology.

Vander and Silco goes topside to take over Piltover... And It's burning shit because of Powder.

In the end, Vi and Caitlyn capture Powder, but Vi had to use shimmer to take her down, resulting in her body being damaged.

Zaun and Piltover are united over rebuilding the city.

All things considered, I get Caitlyn.

Like the intro shows, she is being crushed by the crown her mother left behind. Her mother was not just a council woman, she actually tried to help Zaun, made it possible for them to fricking breath again for the simple reason that it should be their right to have relatively clean air. And getting rid of Jinx seems like a simple solution... except nothing about this society is simple. Because people are gonna take offense to you showing up with a gun and the gas that almost killed them all.

BUT!

Caitlyn goes to the undercity with a small team to not make the crisis escalate more than it already has and evade casualties. And she actually gets Jinx… But then a small child, representing the innocents she doesn't want to hurt, defends this psychopath. If your feelings are in high gear already then that makes you snap.
