I Messed Up

So I’m over here scrolling through Tumblr, and I notice something. My account was supposed to be named ‘Walkbyfaith’, but, apparently, I cAn’T ReAd or SpElL! My account is literally ‘wak’ WaK by faith. 

Lord Jesus, I really need you to help me.

I love this so much.

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. Psalm 27:14 What do we do when God makes us wait? Sometimes He may put us on hold while He aligns us with His will. Sometimes the Lord has work to accomplish in us before we are ready to handle what He’s planned for our future. He strengthens our faith during such time. It is very often at these times, the enemy tempts us to jump ahead of God’s timing, taunting us with statements like- “See, nothing is happening. Do something. It won’t get you anywhere just waiting.” Beware! Instead of listening to his lies and stumbling and falling, wait for God’s clear direction or else you will miss God’s best and God’s will.

He has a plan for all of us, which is why I love this verse. It shows that he working through us constantly, whether we know it or not. 

Philippians 2:13 (NLT) For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Straying From Our Faith.

          I feel like it’s really easy to stray from our faith these days. We are surrounded by negative things all the time, especially on social media platforms and that can could some to lose faith. However, I want to hold onto mine even harder than I was before. I feel that without God, there is no purpose, and when I stray I become lost.                                                                                          

           Isaiah 53:6 NLT says, “All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid in Him the sins of us all.” Even though we stray or have strayed in the past Christ still gave everything or us and is willing to forgive us which I think is amazing.

          I am hoping this blog will hold me accountable for what I do in my walk with God. Reading my Bible and studying it on a daily basis. I know now that you cannot walk with God if you aren't in his word constantly in a consistent manner.  Anyway, thank you for reading.
