I completely forgot to post this, but better late than never!! These are the page illustrations I did for the @wandersongzine last year, it was SO AMAZING to work with all these talented people. It really was such a fun project, I'm glad I could be a part of it!!!

I, the director of the zine, work for Greg now so I feel like I’m in a weird “not official but it’s coming from someone who works with the guy so it’s weird ??” kinda territory but i might be thinking too hard about it …. i’d love to do another zine (possibly chicory?) i just have felt a bit strange about starting it up myself given the circumstances haha but another digital zine for ws is totally up on the table and would be much more freeing in terms of what contributors could draw for it (i was a bit strict in subject matter for this one!)

but either way its all mostly noodling! For now with Beastieball in the works the whole wishes team has been quite busy focusing all our efforts on that so the thought of more zines is more in the back of my mind at this moment

that said if anyone wanted to start up another zine for wandersong or chicory etc id be so happy to help and offer some insight!

we ran out of posters unfortunately ;_; but each artist is totally free to sell posters of their designs in the future if they’re inclined to! unfortunately at this time it’s not really feasible to do more reprints of the posters but maybe if there was a wandersong renaissance we could have the funds to do it again LOL who knows!!!

Will there be physical sales of the zine? Or were there already, and I missed them?

I’m so sorry D: there were indeed physical sales of the zine! and all 200 copies sold out/were given to contributors, there’s not currently plans to reorder though there has been interest in more books so that could be something we do in the future!

edit: sorry btw i should have mentioned we still have some merch tho! anything we still have is up on the ko-fi :3

I got the OK to finally start posting the art I made for The Wandersong Fanzine!! I worked on a pack of digital download wallpapers, one for each Act for the game. I decided I would make the theme "GIRL'S NIIIIIGHT <3" and had a lot of fun incorporating an important lady from each act into a chance to study the game's scenery and make it my own.

ACT 1: The Mayor! I like how no nonsense and respectable she is, she makes for a great part of our intro into the game's rich world

It was a privilege and an honor to do art for this zine, as well as work and talk to so many amazing people while doing so!!!

Tiny ramble under the cut about why I chose this moment

I always thought of it as awesome of Kiwi taking back their inspiration and drive to do things. The fact the song plays a bit of Langtree in it makes me feel like Kiwi injected a bit of the joy and freedom the small town gave them and was able to pass that on.

Act 4 is a sad act. It's about coming back to home but not having it feel safe or happy despite it. A bittersweet reunion with reminders of your roots and why you are the way you are. The inverse of roles and Kiwi losing their sense of self is something that's focused on a lot in the chapter. So, I wanted to showcase Kiwi on the upswing... finding that passion again and rekindling ACTUAL happiness when seeing they've helped spread that others.

It was this or Queen Order's castle, honestly. I feel like I should have done the latter seeing how many people focused only on the first half of the act as well... but I am still VERY satisfied with this piece.
