Headcanons of Gojo having a gloomy, depressed sorcerer s/o but only laughs around him?

• note & warning; my first time doing a polished headcanon so if this is poop i apologize, hopefully, you enjoyed it! besides my grammar (as usual) nothing really.

there isn’t a reprieve to being a shaman, not with all the evil, and anything good that comes along is usually short lived. you found it easier to take on whatever it was without the false sense of hope.

gojo calls bullshit; it’s in the early years that he begins his pestering. cracking jokes and making a fool of himself, all to hear you laugh. even if it’s a fake one, but to no avail does he succeed.

that doesn’t mean he’s failed entirely. despite the nuisance, he’s embedded himself into your routine and without him you seem just a bit more glum than usual.

you suppose this realization is what makes you crack when gojo comes back. it’s only a small smile at first, seeing his attempts even when he’s exhausted.

maybe it’s because you‘ve grown to care for him that makes smiling and laughing a lot easier around him, than with other people. the room always seemingly brighter with him in it. there’s no need to feel as helpless with probably the one person who knows you best.

leave it to gojo to go above and beyond. it’s only a small smile but it’s a damned miracle and even then it’s enough to make him smile himself.

whatever it is, it's an ego boost, and more times than not he's always doing anything and everything to get more.

to savor the moment he captures a few pictures in the process to then later show nanami, and utahime. both not at all interested in his boast of being your "favorite person in the entire world", but still a little curious to see what you’re like without your usual glum expression.

"take notes you two, that’s what a smile looks like. you know, what you’re supposed to do when you see me."

nanami being unbothered with the joke and utahime is already launching something at his head.

even behind closed doors gojo is devoted to hear you laugh at least once a day, if not forever. his best tactic is too playfully kiss the most sensitive parts of your neck. letting your giggle shake through your chest up to him.

which inevitably makes mornings start later than usual. morning kisses are bubbly and sweet. always followed by giggling and smiles.

on extra gloomy days he’ll be close by, always flashing a big goofy grin in reassurance. he won’t leave until you give him one back, even if it’s small. just a little bit goes a long way

yuji does all he can to get you to laugh as well, but it’s no use and each attempt results in being crushed by gojo’s sudden appearance.

megumi, doesn’t say much but does enjoy your company since he (and everyone else) sees himself in you. of course it's also because your far more mature than gojo, but don’t expect him to stay when the two of you are in the same room together.

nobara is convinced you’re being blackmailed by gojo; it’s the only way she can see you being with a man like him. she often tries and fails in distracting gojo, while trying to get you far away from him.

They killed off aaron taylor johnson’s quicksilver prematurely. And they reduced evan peters’ to a boner joke I— how did they manage to screw up twice? Here’s to hoping that maybe Ralph Bohner is an alias and it’s really Peter Maximoff and he’s the person that went missing in witness protection.
