10yr Anniversary to @leagueoflegends and also a video I made for fun. I made this cosplay around a year ago and we've been through a bit of a journey and shared so many great memories with a lot of people. The great thing about you, even if people didn't know what you were from, you still put a smile on many faces ❤ and that's one of the best things in the world. I have to say @ukcomicon_gaming_festivals Bristol was beyond amazing and can't thank enough for the opportunity to guest such a great convention. I did not post anything yesterday as the weekend did certainly take it out of us physically but it was so much fun. Also Terry English panel /q&a👌 what a brilliant man. . Thanks for those who came to take the time to chat to us about costumes and props and also for coming along to our costume making talk 😘 it means a lot to us that you would take the time out of your day to listen to us on a geeky ramble. . Something we've been working on for a client - Hawkeye's quiver from Avengers Age of Ultron. This has been ongoing project over the course of a few months, using various materials and techniques. Still not 100% finished but we are super proud of the results ❤ thus far. . The quiver base is 3D printed which was repeatedly sanded smooth and then covered with a layer of carbon fibre thermal vinyl. The detail layer over the top we used @poly.props 2mm CF100 foam which was textured and sealed with their Hexflex paint in black and then Valour spray over the top. The bar in between to connect all the pieces is plastic trunking sprayed black and silver - which when finished will have a single arrow in the middle with a tip. . The arrows in the quiver are for show and fixed in place. We made them from wooden dowels painted, the arrow flights we used 5mm CF100 foam and then sealed with Hexflex paint and Valour spray. . I know it's been a little quiet on here recently due to building our workshop but we are pleased to announce we will be guesting at @ukcomicon_gaming_festivals alongside the mighty @iron.warrior.cosplay and a few other awesome cosplayers . Been a bit quiet on here recently and some of you are wondering what we've been up to. Now with our routines settled slightly we made a proper start on our studio/workshop space. I don't have a picture of what the inside looked like before but it was filled to the roof with boxes and furniture. The face behind the creature 😁 I'm beyond words. Saturday was a great day at @officialshowmasters London Film and Comic Con, met loads of lovely people and some familiar faces too! Thanks for those to helped me as I couldn't see much and to my partner who was an absolute star as always ❤ cool gel packs to the rescue and keeping me hydrated. • • • • The Cosplay Finals went well! I placed 🥈second which still is a shock to me as the level of detail and effort people put in to their costumes and performance was phenomenal! Must have been such a hard choice for the judges. • • • • 😱 @redlioncosplay won🏆first place with their Timon and Pumba which was great to see to in person, a very well deserved victory! Loved their performance too as they were entertaining and got the crowd going. Well done guys you were amazing! I hope we cross paths again. • • • • Unfortunately I missed out on getting some photos and videos - so if you manged to get any please tag me. It was in January last year I shaved my hair off for @rainbowtrustcc raising awareness and over £800 for this fantastic charity! It's been one of the most liberating experiences of my life and it was worth every moment - even if it did feel cold and weird at first but it was for a great cause ❤. I then shaved it off again when I had my undercut so now I'm back to my natural colour again.
