Description

Angel

She is a slender white woman with long, flowing hair that changes depending on her mood. It shines yellow when she's in a good mood like the sun, is black, wet, and slicked back when she's feeling melancholy, is white and stiff when she's feeling closed off, and gray and whipping in an unseen wind when she's angry. Her features are described as elegant yet sharp, having defined eyebrows. Her eyes are silver with slit pupils.

Tempest's wings are attached to her arms, her body being mostly humanoid except for her back, which is covered in feathers leading to a bird tail. Her feet and legs resemble that of a bird's, long with rather sharp talons on her feet. Her feathers change alongside her hair and into the same colors, with the occasional gradient if she's stuck between moods.

She typically wears suits with bow ties, or blouses with jeans, and no shoes. These suits are typically all black to contrast what she used to wear in Heaven. She often wears lipstick, with her eyelashes being naturally long and pronounced.

Human

She can take on a human form by making her wings and tail invisible, and shortening her stature using her shapeshifting abilities. This is the only angelic ability she maintained after her fall.

Personality

She's described as intimidating, to say the least, strong headed, and fiercely determined to carve her own path. This isn't to say she isn't willing to hear out the ideas of others but, when she feels she has found the right course of action, it can be difficult to sway her from it. She demands attention in any room she's in with her strong confidence and bold attitude. She's playful and flirtatious when she's happy, but can be withdrawn when she's upset, and quite harsh when you've evoked her anger. Violence isn't her style, yet it doesn't have to be, as her booming angry voice can make most people fall into line. If not, a nice wind storm will do just as well.

She enjoys Dahlia's tea parties, music she can sway to, clubbing, going on flights in harsh weather, and playing on her violin. When she was married to Brutus, she served as a sort of manager for his band, and, now with Dahlia, she helps deal with rude customers on the hat shop's floor, along with managing the advertisement side of things.

Power

She can control the weather around her, from cutting down clouds with her wings to let the sun peek through, to pushing the rain out of these clouds using her talons, to using her cold breath to turn that rain into snow, to making strong gusts of wind with her wings or her shout. Her hair and wings also reflect her mood by mimicking one of these weather patterns.

Past

Created to help Brutus look after the guardian angels. She lived in Heaven's garden with Brutus, and eventually she even had a child with him. She was always the more rebellious of the two, determined to do things her own way, and never agreeing with the way Heaven essentially wanted to use guardian angels to push purity culture. Brutus supported her guiding the guardian angels in her own way. Yet, as the years went on, she could tell something was wrong with Brutus. No matter how much he tried to hide it, he wasn't as joyful as he used to be. She learned he'd changed for the worst when he suggested the reapings, encouraging Heaven to use their power against sinners. She was thrown out of Heaven for protesting this idea, refusing to let it go unless Soul wouldn't allow it. And yet, Soul saw it as necessary, and Tempest's opposition as a threat. Tempest was warned, and she took her "punishment" with grace.

Relationships

Though Brutus and Tempest were essentially created and pushed into the role of husband and wife, they did genuinely seem to love each other. But, Tempest has since accepted it wouldn't have lasted. She sees Brutus as too dutiful to maintain a relationship with someone truly rebellious, even if he finds a certain appeal in their wild side. In the present, Tempest is in an open and loving relationship with Dahlia, who helped her after she fell and whom she grew extremely fond of. They are known as one of Hell's few power couples, including myself and Lee, of course. Since I'm close to Dahlia, we have mutual respect for one another, even if my...methods typically disturb her. It's a wonder she manages to work with Sin, though I suppose he's good at putting on a front. She's flirtatious and friendly to Lee, Tempest being Lee's squish (platonic crush).

She is unable to contact her son, hoping Heaven hasn't corrupted him too, and misses her friendship with Eve. She has a playfully teasing relationship with Lucifer, who struggles to reciprocate due to some of the humor flying over his head, and is supportive of Leona, though she keeps her distance from the other powerful sinners when she can help it. She initially liked Duet's spunk and attitude until she saw the cruel way Duet treated Lee at their "first" meeting. She has a lot of respect for Queen, who also has quite a bit of spunk, but refrains from being cruel. She'd stab Saccharin if she could, and has always worried for Queen, who works closely with him.
