I watched Looney Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up

Yeah, it's pretty head and shoulders the best Lego movie.

Not gonna spend much time on it, cause I don't have much to say other than it's just DAMN funny. I'm was in a small theater with not a lot of people (almost like this movie isn't being advertised, but that drums been beat to death by other people) and for the sake of nit wanting eyes drawn towards me I had to keep a lot of laughter in, so I wanna say 80% of my watch time was just me covering my mouth and biting my tounge so I didn't laugh too loud.

Does every joke work? In my opinion, no, but it does get close. There were only one or two jokes I remember rolling my eyes at, but it's not nearly enough to distract me from all the laughs I had. Anything to do with Farmer Jim had my CRYING laughing, dude.

If you got the money, if you're a big Looney Tunes fan, if you wanna support 2D animation, or any combination of the three, go see Looney Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up. You won't regret it.

Long post ahead:

So it's been a while now, but I remember semi-recently people online were talking about how to do horror in the Sonic franchise without just being Sonic.EXE. No disrespect if you're a fan of EXE or whatever, just some variety would be nice.

But there was an idea I thought of that, I'm sure, has been thought of before, but I didn't see anyone bring it up.

What if the chaos emeralds and all things attatched to them... were cursed?

What if instead of being just these gems of ultimate power, they were also these dark, deranged things that messed you up the more you use them?

What if the angry spirits of the echidna tribe now permanently reside in the emeralds, making them twisted and cruel. The people with more connection to chaos like Sonic or Knuckles keep seeing visions of the past and a nightmarish look at the possible future. Reality warps for them and them alone, giving them looks in the reality that darkness has long since consumed, the cracked Visage of reality they reside in becoming flimsier and flimsier as our heroes can see glimpses of realities where they failed, and the mountains of corpses left in the wake.

What if anyone in the Sonic universe who's been in close proximity with the emeralds has had things happen to them because of their demented powers but don't even realize them? Tails is working on a project in his shop and all of a sudden gets flashes of a life he never had, involving parents who didn't abandon him, a normal life with a normal one tail, maybe even being a true blood brother to Sonic. But as soon as the memory is there, it's gone, leaving him a sobbing mess for something he can't even remember.

What if Chaos wasn't just the god who resides in the master emerald but was rather an eldritch, otherworldly being. A Lovecraftian nightmare that's, yes, in the master emerald... but is it really restraining him? Or is he just biding his time? Or does he even need to leave at all? Is he influencing the events we speak of? Is he creating the shattered path upon which our heroes walk? Or does he simply regard them as insignificant. Little specks of life for which he has been around long before and will be around long after. It's not even worthy of his time, so you're left wondering if this is Chaos's doing? Or the spirit of the echidnas? Or something worse that isn't even in our comprehension.

What if the ultimate source of the power for the Sonic universe... was also their greatest weakness?

Sonic movie 3 is a good

It's just a damn well done movie. The first act is PRETTY fast paced, but I understand it's because they want to get to the good stuff.

I don't think I'm AS in love with it as other people due to my own personal biases (I'd go into them here but I don't wanna be a party pooper, lol) but yeah, it's a pretty frigging good movie.

Imagine if this real, his back's GOTTA be fucked up. That's why he chilled out, after their first adventure Sonic or Amy or someone finally just cracked his back and he felt years of pain leave his shoulders.

As for why Blaze didn't do it... I dunno man, she's a princess, she probably has back problems she has no idea how to handle either.

I got a headcannon in my head where Silver used to sleep in one of those dryers in the abandoned laundromat when he was younger

So I just had this thought and figured I'd share it.

Just recently I finally watched the first Highlander movie.

It was pretty good, one of the best CONCEPTS of all time, but that's not exactly what I'm here to discuss.

If you've watched the movie, you know the concept is that there are these immortal swordsmen who can only be killed via decapitation, and the main character is named Conner MacLeod

But... it's not pronounced "Mac-Leo-D", it's pronounced "Mac-Cloud"

Like McCloud

As in, FOX McCloud

And, the whole Highlander series is focused on other MacLeods, like Duncan MacLeod or Colin MacLeod. There are several different MacLeods.

So... all I'm saying is Fox McCloud is secretly a Highlander. Thank you, and good night.

It bugs me how recently when a new Disney cartoon show comes out the cartoon community is often like "The next insert-canceled-show-here?!"

That tends to put a lot of pressure and unreasonable expectations on the show. So when the show premieres and it's nothing like insert-canceled-show-here people feel like the show is a failure when said show is not trying to be insert-canceled-show-here in the first place.

Look, I get it. I miss Gravity Falls, I miss Amphibia, and I especially miss Owl House, but it's unfair to judge a show because it's not exactly like the previous one you loved by the same studio.

Not every show is going to appeal to your tastes, and that's okay. You never know what your next favorite show is going to be. Maybe it will be from Disney, maybe from somewhere else. Maybe it's premiering next week, maybe it won't be on the air for awhile, or perhaps it's already out there waiting to be discovered. Just keep an open mind and be respectful to those who you disagree with.

Not everyone is going to like the same kind of show, that's why we have so many different ice cream flavors.
