Fun question but is the entire Motley just super poor? Like TBH with the trauma they comes with being a Changeling would make getting money difficult.

YUP!

Ethan works for his aunt's motel for room and board rather than money.

Ursula makes tips at her..."dancing" job and is bumming off her fetch.

Sue...nobody is really sure if she even works or has some kind of illegal side hustle or gets paid doing errands for the summer court.

Steven and William have a very weird roommate/dating situation and are currently living off of the money Steven "got" after he "accidentally" killed his fetch a few months after Arcadia. Mainly because William doesn't know how to work modern tech and Steven refuses to assume his fetch's job of being a cop.

The richest one in the motley is Ashley because he earns his keep scamming religious nutjobs and grifting off of "idiots who think Obama is the antichrist".

So 20$ is 20$
