Tony: (wraps him in a headlock to pull him closer)

Peter: Hey!

Tony: (smirks)

Tony: You're in the Peter Parker category.

Peter (frowning): What does that mean?

Tony: (looks up at the sky to avoid eye contact with the kid, the memory of a boy turning into dust making his eyes prickle)

Tony: It means that if you need me, I'm there. And even if you don't, I'm on your side. And if those strangers matter to you, then they would be my business too.

Peter: Why? Because I'm Spider-Man?

Tony (shakes his head and squeezes his shoulder):

'Because you became more important to me than anything or anyone, more than time or life itself' is what he meant to say, but couldn't. He isn't ready to let the kid know the truth he'd only just recently admitted to himself.

Tony: Because you're you.

remembering old internet friends that you just fell out of contact with is the worst pain. i love you, but we never said goodbye. we said “see you tomorrow” like the optimists we were. i miss you, the loss of you from my life has impacted me, but still the world turns. you could be dead, but i don’t know to mourn you. if i see you in the streets, will i know it’s you? the same face i brought many smiles to? will we pass each other by, neither of us the wiser? i wish i could go back, back to that day we started not talking, and say hello, perhaps extending our friendship just a bit longer. i will never forget you, and to me, we remain the closest of friends. i will always remember you, even if you may not return it.

Black girls deserve to learn free from bias and stereotypes.

Most black girls experience this hatred at schools. And classmates are not the only problem, there is no support from teachers, too. That’s why they get so affected by their school experiences. Black kids deserve to be treated just like everybody else, they want to study, they want to learn something ,too. However due to prejudice they are 5 times more likely to be suspended than their white peers and it can ruin their lives forever.  National Women’s Law Center created this video to change the situation. Join the movement to help black girls feel normal and get the same opportunities everybody else has.
