As a follow-up:

This is not the first time I've faced my insufficiencies, but now I seemingly lack the crutches to sweep it under the rug with, and, hopefully, have the knowledge to undertake the responsibility to oppose it.

At least, I feel like it's either going to be that, or I'll find myself in 3 more years ashamed again for how I dare demand things, unaware of my own mediocrity.
