i love taking little writing tangents that add literally nothing to the plot at hand. especially when there's an important conversation going on. i love reading them too!! i DO want to forget what question was asked that prompted a three page memory and explanation of a character trait that does not develop any character or arc. when i find a spot to add one i get so excited i want to talk about this character's inhuman ability to fall asleep everywhere at any time instead of even pretending that this relates back to the truly bad time the POV character is having
