Ooh I want to try making this! But based on what everyone's reblogs say, I'll add some milk or something so it becomes a moldable dough, and I'll add vanilla and additional flavoring since everyone says it's a bit bland

Combine almonds, flour, and sugar. 2. Work in butter and egg yolk until well blended. 3. Set it in the fridge until chilled. 4. Roll into crescent moon shapes or use a cookie cutter. 5. Hi I just saw your Hex post. Do you perchance have a post on how to lift or undo a hex?
Sorry this took 12 years to answer. I donât, actually ! Iâve never made a curse or hex breaking post, I mostly focus on casting them and breaking through defenses.Â
I have some reblogs on my new witch blog and other things:Â
Void Salts (to aid in cleansing/breaking)Â
Curse Decoy Poppet
Hex Breaking Bath
Protection Chant
Null/Void Magic SigilÂ
Cursebreaker Powders
Cursing an Object (includes how to de-curse an object)
Break a Curse Spell
Return to Sender Spell
Masterpost of Cursebreaking/Returning (some links are dead but most seem active)
Masterpost for Cursebreaking 2
Hope that helps !

âTower Tarot Readingâ
I like to try different ways to read my cards. One of them is literally making a tower out of cards! Yes it takes longer then shuffling and drawing cards but I find it fun to do and watching the cards fall down is satisfying to watch.Â
I like to use this method to find out what area in my life is causing the most imbalance. What is causing my life to âfall apart.âÂ
⨠To do this reading first grab your deck. Tarot, Oracle, and even using both types works fine (just make sure they are the same size.) Shuffle your cards a bit and then place it down on a flat, stable surface. Take two cards and make a âtentâ with them. Itâs okay if your cards donât want to stay up right. Just be patient or just take another 2 cards and try again. When making the 2nd tent, make sure to leave a bit of space from the first tent. Then make your 3rd tent and your done with the foundation!
⨠Next, take one card and place it in-between the 1st and 2nd tent. Take another card and place it in-between the 2nd and 3rd tent.  Â
⨠Carefully make two tents on top of the cards. Then you place one card in-between the two, and make the final tent.  Â

⨠You can also use less cards and make a smaller tower to make it easier.

⨠If your tower keeps falling, I suggest making tents with the cards horizontal than vertical. Place two cards on top of them and add a final tent. This gives the foundation a stronger base, especially with thinner cards.Â

When your done making your tower, itâs time for the card reading!
đŽ Look at your card tower and choose one card that calls out to you. Then proceed to take it, which of course causes the tower to fall. The card in your hand is the one causing a weak foundation in your life. The one that you need to pay closer attention too if you want your life to stop falling apart.
đŽ Afterwards, take a look at your fallen down tower. If it is still upright, give it a push to knock all the cards down. Whatever card(s) is facing upwards are also areas in your life you need to work or improve on. But the card you picked first is your main priority, it is the one causing the most imbalance.
đŽ You can also use this method in other ways. Like why is your relationship or friendship unstable or fell apart?
I will share some other ways I use my deck in future posts. â¤ď¸

I wish more people understood that tarot only reads your current energy and life path you're on. It's used as advice, primarily. We make all kinds of decisions and choices on the daily that alters our path without realizing sometimes. All that can lead to a potentially different outcome. You create your own future. No cartomancer can tell you what choices to make to go from A to B and we're not going to make decisions for you. I strongly advise everyone not to rely on tarot or other tools to make important life choices. There's a reason a disclaimer is given that it's "all for entertainment purposes". As a tarot reader, we don't take responsibility for your choices. You choose what to do at the end of the day. I've seen so many bizarre questions asked of tarot from "how to get into university" to "how to act at a job interview". At the end of the day these aren't appropriate questions to ask, these are things you should know to get by in life.

I am an atheist and a witch. The two coexist very easily for me. As for Wicca, I can't say since I'm not Wiccan. Witchraft and wicca are not synonymous, so you can freely practice one or the other or both. You can easily practice witchcraft as an atheist without involving any deities.
Many people have differing views on what makes spells "work," and this might influence if/how you involve deities in your practice. Given that I'm an atheist, I personally don't believe any higher beings influence magic. To me, everything is energy, and we influence the energy around us in our day to day lives. Spells are just a very specific focused way of influencing energy towards a specific goal.
I was really into witchcraft and wicca in my teens and very early 20s but dropped it because I couldnât reconcile it with my the atheism I was also identifying with. Lately Iâve been thinking about it for the first time in years, and that maybe you donât have to be one or the other? I donât know Iâm still thinking, but would love some opinions.

A Deep Room Cleanse
The state of my room is extremely important to me. Itâs a direct reflection of my mental health, so when itâs messy, my energy levels are low and I just feel yucky. Thereâs no way Iâm getting any kind of work done, magical or mundane. When it feels good and clean to be in, itâs a lot easier to deal with my symptoms and be productive. You donât have to do every step every time of course, but each step has helped me so I figured a list like this might help someone.Â
Change the lighting. Use natural sources of light (like pulling back the curtains and letting the sun in) over artificial ones. If you have salt lamps to turn on, those are still very nice. If you need artificial light to keep it from being too dark, try to prioritize light bulbs you like the color of, and ones that donât whistle quietly when theyâre on.
Change the airflow. Open a window, if you can. Often our rooms feel yucky because the air is stale. Get some fresh air moving. If itâs too cold, itâs okay to only keep it open for a few minutes or put on a coat while you work because youâre stubborn like me.
Change the sound. Put on your favorite cleansing music. Let it soak into the room. I tend to go or ambient spa stuff, or playlists that sound built for a rainy day. (Note: the music that helps you cleanse the best may not be the same as what you like the most. The playlist should keep you focused/uplifted while you work and reflect the vibes you want your room to have.)
Change the smell. Take out the trash, maybe refresh the sheets on your bed. Light a scented candle, some incense, heat up some oil, something to make your room smell distinctly different from the mucky-feeling room from before. (If your method of choice is something short like a room spray, I actually like doing it at the very end.)
Actually clean and organize. Nothing junks up the energy of a room more quicker than actual junk. Organize everything as much as you can (this might mean finally gutting your closet, even if you can close the door and hide it.) Wipe down any surfaces that need it, get everything fresh and functional again. Do some laundry while you work. If you have clothes or trinkets that are just collecting dust, extra points for purging them!Â
Cleanse any sacred spaces by themselves. A lot of us have altars or shrines in our rooms. A sacred space can also be just an extra important area of your room, like a reading nook. Make sure to give them extra attention! You donât need to wipe the board energetically (and probably shouldnât), but taking a little extra time to clean surfaces, straighten up, and make sure everything feels okay on them goes a long way.
Cleanse in your regular way. Bust out the herb bundles, the bells, the ribbons, the broom, whatever you usually do to cleanse a space! The room is SUPER primed for it now, most of the negative energy probably already feels removed if not broken down. A good once-over with your favorite cleansing method should finish it off nicely.Â
Refresh any wards or protections. Self explanatory. If you maintain energy borders in your room, now is a good time to check in on them and zhoosh them if needed. Keep the space clean for longer!Â
Practice self-care. Take a shower, a nap, eat some food, whatever you need. Youâve put in a lot of work and you deserve it.Â

Holy cow, this post seriously took off. Even though I didn't respond to everyone, please know I read and appreciate your responses!
So based on what everyone is saying, its not just a me problem. Witchblr is getting quieter for various reasons (being burnt out from 2020, not sharing their practices because they got more specific/advanced, people leaving to different platforms, etc.)
Even though witchblr is quieter, its still here. Here's to hoping it revives itself once the world calms down and we all have more energy to be more active on here.
Where did all the witches go?
I feel like the witchy side of tumblr is nearly dead compared to when i first started this side blog years ago. Idk where everyone went, maybe the witchy community moved to instagram or tiktok?
This could just be a "me" problem. I've had this blog for years, with several hiatuses, and each time I come back my feed shrinks drastically cuz the witches I follow slowly stopped posting.
Idk if witchblr is truly disappearing and i need to move to a new platform, or if I just need to find new witchy accounts on here that regularly post things? Not quite sure what to do.
Idk im just rambling at this point. But please reblog if you have any suggestions (or if you just wanna be like "hey I'm an active witchy blog right here!")
Anyways. Love y'all. Stay safe in all this 2021 chaos.
