PROMPT CHALLANGE TIME!!

Rules (yes only 1) : No time limit, no nothing, Anyone can join in, just passing time when we got it and writing or gifing if we want to, depending on what takes our fancy..

1. “Stay awake. Please.”

One character is injured after saving the other. They’re trapped somewhere remote, and the uninjured character tries to keep his friend conscious through conversation, jokes, and slowly fraying hope.

2. “You’re not broken. Not to me.”

After a traumatic experience (e.g. captivity, psychological torture, or a failed mission), one of them shuts down emotionally. The other sticks around, refusing to let him face it alone.

3. “You weren’t supposed to follow me.”

One of them leaves to protect the other, believing it’s safer apart. The second character tracks him down—only to find him injured, exhausted, and pretending everything is fine.

4. “You’re safe now. You’re home.”

One character finally escapes a situation where he was being controlled or manipulated. The other welcomes him back and helps him relearn how to trust himself again.

5. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

One of them hides a chronic illness or injury until it becomes too severe to ignore. The other finds out the hard way—and his reaction isn’t anger, but a quiet, devastated kind of hurt.

6. “You’re shaking. Sit down. Breathe with me.”

A panic attack hits one of them after a triggering moment in a high-stress setting. The other immediately shifts into soft-spoken, grounding mode—something he's done before.

7. “I thought I lost you.”

During a fight or natural disaster, the two get separated. One of them is found unconscious or barely hanging on. The reunion is messy, tearful, and filled with things they never dared say before.

8. “You took the hit for me.”

In the middle of a confrontation, one jumps in front of the other and ends up badly hurt. As they recover, the uninjured one struggles with guilt and tries to make it up in quiet ways.

9. “You don’t have to fix everything.”

One character is the ‘protector’—always sacrificing, always giving, always carrying the world. When he burns out, the other finally steps up to be his strength, even if it's new territory.

10. “I’ve got you. I promise.”

One of them is exhausted, running from something or someone, scared and alone—until he quite literally falls into the other’s arms, who has been searching for him for days.
