My beef with the premise behind "The Purge" is that it's not laws stopping people from killing each other in the streets - it's kinda just the default human experience to not want to hurt anyone. We succeeded as a species because we're generally decent at getting along with each other. The average, well-adjusted human has no desire to inflict undeserved harm.

We do, however, hate rules, so we'd probably still get a little wild in less harmful ways.

I love the moment we're doing something for college or whatnot and a friend says "do you know what you're doing?" And I answer "bold of you to assume I know what I'm doing" and then things turn out kind of ok actually

It's like I'm talking to someone and they're talking about double check marks and then I look to the side and when I see the person again she entered a monologue about vanilla extract???? I think I'm not great with this...

You know that time when you just talk a lot with someone that you don't know a lot about e and when you say goodbye and go live your life a popup appears on your eyesight and says "thou am I and I am thou" and you're like "wow, didn't knew this was a possible route! Nice"?

I taught myself the piano, I thaught myself the ocarina, I had guitar classes...

But why didn't I learn the fucking pandeiro earlier? It's the fucking easiest to play omg

O som do metrô era reconfortante, afinal, não tem sentimento mais sincero do que o de querer voltar pra casa.

O encontro não foi tão bom, nós conversamos bastante mas isso poderíamos fazer sem ter que se meter aqui, aí ai. Onde eu vim me enfiar

Com o som dos trilhos os devaneios vieram, era bem longe, e também bem tarde. Então não me restava muita coisa além de esperar.

Enquanto eu sonhava acordado todas as luzes do metrô se apagaram, simples assim. Um breu absurdo engoliu todo mundo. Eu fui pego de surpresa, tomei um susto quando aconteceu. Mas, felizmente todas as luzes se acenderam e eu cheguei no meu ponto, agora é só sair do vagão.
