Although I am quite interested in the idea of “Rue’s perfect society”, getting rid of all courts and political obligation, I do wonder how the rest of the group would really feel about that.

We all know Hob isn’t very keen to the idea, mainly because he gets a lot of his self worth and recognition through his service for the Goblin Court.

I think the Lords of the Wing would be… willing, atleast on the outside. I mean, they don’t technically belong to a court. But I don’t believe a part of them wouldn’t shake at the idea of not being seen as politically powerful figures, or not being able to seduce faes to gain that societal advantage. Not to mention the lingering thought of What would Grandfather think? 

Binx has a very different perspective from Rue, she never felt out of place or truly unwanted in the Court of Craft. And at the end of the day, their court didn’t run like a normal court. It was filled with love and barely any formalities or militaristic responsibility, it was a family. I don’t know if she would let go of the one thing keeping the memory of her family alive.

And now Andhera. They have possibly the most interesting point of view. He can empathize with all of the others in one way or another. He has felt outcast like Rue, sitting in the dark caves being told to keep quiet. Like Hob, he has known the scars that war leaves on you and the obligation one has to his court. They understand what it’s like for everyone to know your descendants, and scale everything you do on their achievements, like Chirp and Squak. But what sets them slightly apart is how sentimental they are. A trait fae are not known for having, especially in his court. He loves more than many of the other fae. They revel in the thrills of gossip, romance, and friendship. He is best friends with Hob, and almost fell for Chirp. He admires Rue and their courage. He has very strong feelings for Binx, respect and fondness. All that love was powerful enough for him to create a space within himself to fit Binx’s court in with his own. 

So, although I don’t think Rue is wrong for thinking love is the most important virtue, a belief forgotten by many of the courts, I do not think you have to break the system to achieve love. Andhera has shown that you just have to mold it.

Honestly, Andhera being canonically asexual is such wonderful representation.

They’re an incredibly well rounded character, who isn’t defined solely by their sexuality.

He’s a bit awkward and self unaware, but he’s also strong, and kind, and funny.

He isn’t just ace. He isn’t just pillar boy.

I want Fantasy High for a million seasons, but I truly and desperately want a Fantasy High: Reunion

I need everyone just ten years older and maybe they're still adventuring or maybe they've settled down into more normal jobs but they've slowly grown apart and don't talk much because life got in the way

Riz is obviously still a private detective, and he contacts The Former Bad Kids now and again for help. He and Fabian are still best friends, and with the little downtime he has, Riz is working with the Hangman to find Fabian's soulmate

Kristen and Tracker are definitely married. Kristen has a charitable organization that she is very bad at managing and Jawbone helps a lot. Tracker runs a youth center and the two of them have settled into suburban happiness

Fabian runs a dance school, full stop. It's highly successful and he's trying to open more studios around the country. He wrote a ballet based around his dad's adventures and getting the leading role is a big deal

Adaine is overwhelmed by being The Oracle of The People. She feels guilty every time she takes a minute for herself because she could be helping other people. Zayn has tried three times to hold an intervention

Gorgug has left the band, and now makes highly advanced headphones and other technical wonders. They help with rages, anxiety, and stress, along with the music he writes with his dad. He and Zelda have broken up but he looks forward to seeing her at the reunion

Fig is a major rockstar, and hasn't been back to Elmville in years. The 10 year reunion is the perfect excuse to go back and she intends to get the Bad Kids back together

They are awkward and weird after being all together for the first time in years. Then Arthur Augefort's evil twin arrives and The Bad Kids are back
