📹 Scenes published by Al-Jazeera Arabic of Iranian air defenses which were activated in Isfahan, central Iran, early Friday morning following a presumed Israeli occupation drone, and possibly missile attack in retaliation for Iran's April 14th combined missile and drone strike on the occupation.

That strike was itself was retaliation for "Israel's" strike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria on April 1st.

ISRAELI OCCUPATION LAUNCHES MISSILES INTO IRAN

Reports are coming in of explosions recorded in Isfahan in central Iran after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a volley of missiles into Iranian territory despite warnings from, not only Iran itself, but several of the Israeli regimes allies as well.

According to ABC News, the Israeli occupation early on Friday morning launched a barrage of missiles towards Iran following the Iranian counterstrike on "Israel" on April 14th, after the Israeli occupation bombed the consulate building of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria on April 1st.

A report by RT News cited the spokesperson for Iran's civilian space program, Hossein Dalirian, as saying Iran had shot down several drones entering its airspace. However no confirmation has come from Iran on the missile attacks.

The strike comes after Iran issued several warnings to the Zionist regime that it did not seek escalation but would respond harshly to any new provocations.

Update: Reports coming from Iran state that several drones were shot down by air defenses, however no reports that missiles are involved in the strike at this time.

UNITED STATES VETOS PALESTINIAN MEMBERSHIP TO THE UNITED NATIONS

In a vote today in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on a resolution to grant membership into the UN for Palestine was vetoed by the United States.

The vote for Palestinian membership was supported by the vast majority of UNSC members, with 12 votes in favor, one against, and two abstentions.

US representative to the UN for Special Political Affairs, Robert Wood, argued that Palestine could not be admitted as long as Hamas controlled the Gaza Strip, echoing Zionist arguments over Palestine's membership, at one point arguing, “there are unresolved questions as to whether [Palestine] meets the criteria to be considered a state," without ever mentioning the Israeli occupation that makes such criteria unlikely to ever be satisfied.

Palestine is currently a "Permanent Observer State" without voting rights at the United Nations.

ISRAELI OCCUPATION FORCES DEMOLISHED PALESTINIAN HOMES IN THE OCCUPIED WEST BANK

On Thursday evening, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed both Tulkarm City and the Nour al-Shams Camp east of Tulkarm, imposing a curfew and bulldozing local infrastructure along with Palestinian homes, facilities, fences and other areas.

According to local reports, reinforced occupation forces stormed the city accompanied by two D9 armored bulldozers, which traveled through Tulkarm City from its western axis heading towards Nour al-Shams and passing through Courts Square (Al-Alimi), Al-Quds Open University Street, Nablus Street, Aktaba roundabout and employee's housing.

The IOF also laid siege to Nour al-Shams Camp, deploying vehicles from all sides around the refugee camp, and on all roads leading to it. Occupation soldiers also deployed reconnaissance drones over the camp.

The Zionist occupation army then imposed a curfew on Palestinian residents and prevented any vehicles from entering or exiting the camp.

Meanwhile, Zionist forces in D9 bulldozers went to work tearing up several sections of Tulkarm's streets while driving towards Nour al-Shams Camp, destroying sections of Al-Younis roundabout in the Northern neighborhood, Al-Sikka Street, Martyr Saif Abu Lebda Square, and Nablus Street near its western entrance.

IOF bulldozers also destroyed several Palestinian homes and property, including facilities and fences.

During the siege, clashes broke out between local residents and occupation soldiers, resulting in the wounding of a young man who was transported to Martyr Thabet Thabet Government Hospital where his wounds were described as "moderate".

BIDEN ADMINISTRATION TRADES WITH ISRAELI OCCUPATION- NO RETALIATION AGAINST IRAN FOR INVASION OF RAFAH

A report published in the Hebrew media says the American Biden administration has made a deal with the Netanyahu regime to exchange a potential retaliation on Iran for the their strikes against "Israel," for the Israeli invasion of the city of Rafah, the last bastion for displaced Palestinian civilians.

A report about the deal was originally published by the The New Arab, and has since been republished in the Zionist media, detailing a deal in which the United States has approved an Israeli ground operation into Rafah, the southernmost city of the Gaza Strip, in exchange for restraint with regards to Iran following a large-scale choreographed missile and drone strike launched over the weekend targeting Israeli military sites.

The Iranian strike was in retaliation for an Israeli attack on the consulate section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing several Iranian military and diplomatic officials, including two high-ranking IRGC commanders.

No Israelis were killed in the Iranian counterstrike.

To avoid an all-out uncontrolled escalation in the region, officials in the Biden administration have reportedly made a deal with the Israeli regime, avoiding a retaliatory strike on Iran in exchange for a planned Israeli invasion of Rafah.

According to a Senior official speaking with The New Arab, "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu managed to obtain American approval for a military operation in Rafah, in exchange for [Israel] refraining from carrying out a wide military operation against Iran in response to its recent attack."

The official claimed that "discourse of an Israeli response to Iran contradicts the desires of the American administration, and is not realistic, given the Israeli claims that the United States played the major role in repelling the Iranian attack and preventing its success."

The source also noted that "the IDF carried out airstrikes [overnight on Thursday] on several areas adjacent to the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt," adding that "the relevant officials in Egypt were notified before the execution of some of these strikes, which came in the Philadelphi axis at a space adjacent to the border with Egypt."

For its part, Egyptian authorities told The New Arab that Egypt is at "full readiness and preparedness of [its] forces stationed in northern Sinai, along the 14-kilometer border strip with the Gaza Strip, as part of a plan to deal with the scenario of a ground invasion in Rafah."

According to authorities with the Egyptian military, the government is "ready for all scenarios," but that the Israeli occupation must properly evacuate Palestinian civilians from Rafah before any potential operations.

MASS MURDER OF PALESTINIAN CIVILIANS CONTINUES ON THE 195TH DAY OF "ISRAEL'S" ONGOING GENOCIDE

On the 195th day of "Israel's" special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed a total of 7 new massacres of Palestinian families, resulting in the deaths of no less than 71 civilians, mostly women and children, while another 106 others were wounded over the previous 24-hours.

In a small bit of positive news amongst the horrors of Gaza, Algeria has announced it would be donating $15 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA).

The announcement was made by Algeria's Foreign Minister, Ahmed Attaf, who stated that Algeria was making an "exceptional financial contribution" to the UNRWA, worth over $15 million.

“Algeria, by decision of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announces the provision of an exceptional financial contribution of $15 million to UNRWA," adding that Algeria considers the initiative “a true duty and a firm responsibility that falls on us and on other members of the international community.”

Meanwhile, the criminal Israeli occupation war of genocide continued, and even intensified, with several new deadly airstrikes pummeling the Palestinian people over the previous day, committing several new massacres and slaughtering civilian families, including large numbers of women and children.

In just one example, Zionist air forces bombed a tract of land and a residential building housing displaced civilian families late on Wednesday evening in the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the murder of 7 civilians, including three children and a woman, which was later revised upwards.

Further reports of the Rafah strike stated that the number of civilians killed rose to 11 overnight following the work of civil defense crews, who managed to recover three additional corpses of Palestinian victims.

Additionally, the tract of agricultural land that was bombed by Zionist forces in the Al-Salam neighborhood of Rafah city, held a room that was occupied by the Ayyed family who were displaced from Gaza City, resulting in the martyredom of 8 family members, including 5 children and 2 women.

The Israeli occupation has been purposefully targeting displaced civilian families in Rafah, who were forced into the southern Gazan city following the start of the war.

In a previous example, another massacre occured on Tuesday when IOF fighter jets bombed the al-Hanoud family home, in which displaced families were sheltering, also in Rafah, resulting in the deaths of 7 Palestinians, including 4 children.

"Israel's" criminal behavior continued into Thursday morning with the wounding of three Palestinian civilians who were injured following an Israeli occupation airstrike which targeted residential homes in the town of Al-Mughraqa, in the central Gaza Strip.

What little remains of Gaza City was also a focus of the Israeli occupation army, with Zionist warplanes and artillery concentrated on shelling the Sheikh Ajlin and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods, resulting in a number of casualties.

Occupation aircraft further bombarded residential homes and buildings in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and the Beach Camp area of Gaza City as well.

Following the withdrawal of Zionist forces from the Nuseirat Camp area of central Gaza, local civil defense crews worked to recover the bodies of those killed, however, crews say many still remain buried under the rubble and have yet to be uncovered.

Civil Defense personnel also said they'd recovered the bodies of at least 11 Palestinians from under the debris of the Khan Yunis governate, in the south of Gaza.

The Zionist crimes continued when Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building belonging to the Shaat family in the Yabna Camp area of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in several casualties.

As a result of "Israel's" ongoing special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, the death toll among the Palestinian civilian population has now risen to exceed 33'970 Palestinians killed, including over 14'560 children and 9'582 women, while an additional 76'770 others have been wounded since the start of the current round of Zionist aggression, beginning with the events of October 7th, 2023.

ZIONIST COLONIAL SETTLERS RAID PALESTINIAN BEDOUIN COMMUNITY

Groups of Zionist colonial settlers on Wednesday raided a Palestinian Bedouin community in the occupied West Bank, in an attempted provocation of local Bedouin residents.

According to the General Supervisor of the Al-Badr organization, an organization dedicated to the Rights of the Palestinian Bedouin population, Hassan Mlihat, a group of Israeli colonial settlers stormed the Milhat Arab community on horseback and in vehicles on Wednesday evening.

The Zionist settlers were also accompanied by the Head of the Zionist colonialist West Bank Settlements Council, Yossi Dagan.

The abuse of Palestinians under occupation in the West Bank continued when the Israeli occupation forces arrested two young Palestinian men in the town of Azzun, located to the east of Qalqilya.

According to local reporting, Zionist occupation forces raided Azzun earlier on Wednesday evening, detaining and arresting the two men, Samer Mahmoud Shabita and Youssef Mazyad Salim, at an Israeli military checkpoint in the central part of the town, near the old mosque.

In further news of apartheid occupied Palestine, occupation bulldozers began construction of a Settler-only road just outside the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit

According to the Mayor of Derastiya, Firas Dhiab, Zionist bulldozers began razing Palestinian lands and uprooting olive trees belonging to the Muhammad Hussein Abu Nasser family in order to build a Settler-only road, as well as expanding the entrance to the illegal colony of Rafava.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army also detained and imprisoned a young Palestinian man named Shadi Al-Salameen from Al-Somou, south of Hebron, following occupation forces chasing the young man through the streets of the town before catching up to him and assaulting him. Al-Salameen suffers from a work-related foot injury he incurred a year prior.

RUSSIAN PEACEKEEPERS WITHDRAW FROM NAGORNO-KARABAKH

The Press Secretary for the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed on Wednesday the withdrawal of the Russian Peacekeeping forces from the contentious Nagorno-Karbakh region of Azerbaijan, an Armenian enclave that had been under independent administration by the Armenian population of the area until Azarbajani forces reclaimed the region in a large-scale offensive, beginning on September 19th, 2023.

A Russian Peacekeeping force numbering 1'960 military personnel with small arms, along with 90 armored personnel carriers and 380 units of vehicles and special equipment where stationed in the Nagorno-Karbakh area, beginning with the tripartite statement issued on November 10th, 2020 by the President of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Russian President.

The mission was scheduled to continue until 2025, however, since the Armenian President recognized the area as belonging to Azerbaijan, discussions around the administration of the region were ongoing between the leaders of the three countries.

Yesterday, footage emerged showing Russian forces withdrawing from Nagorno-Karbakh.

Following the release of the footage, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov was asked about the withdrawal, to which he responded, "Yes, this is true."
