ISRAELI RESERVISTS REFUSE TO FIGHT IN REPORTED "BURNOUT"

The Israeli Channel 12 media outlet is reporting the refusal of a reserve company of 30 soldiers to continue fighting in the Gaza Strip due to reported "burnout".

According to Channel 12, the soldiers belonging to a reserve company of some 30 soldiers, attached to the regular paratrooper brigades, received orders this morning to prepare for further deployment in ground operations in Gaza's southern city of Rafah.

Following receiving their orders, the company of soldiers informed their commanders they would not be participating in the actions because they were "no longer capable."

The commander of the brigade responded by saying he would not force the reservists to appear and that no operational gap will be caused by their refusal to participate, however, the commander agreed that issue reflects a high attrition rate among reserve forces after several months of fighting.

The company's commander added that he was "not doing this because I like guns. Not because I'm looking for peace from my wife. Not because I find personal satisfaction [in Gaza]. I'm doing it because I have to, because my brothers and sisters are kidnapped And that we are in the second state of the State of Israel and it will continue to be painful and difficult."

Please watch this video that details issues with and ways to contact broadcasters, brands and individuals about Israel's involvement in Eurovision 2024. Countries, like Russia, have been banned before, and countries like Iceland are considering dropping out. Many performers, past performers, and potential performers have also voiced their opposition to this inclusion. Speaking up does make a difference, we HAVE to keep it up. If you cannot watch the video, I highly recommend saving it until you can, if that is possible. Here is the link to the google document they provide with contact resources to broadcasters of the Eurovision Song Contest, which you can use to contact the broadcasters and sponsors of the contest. Even if your country does not participate, you can still contact sponsors, and even email as many broadcasters as you can, regardless of where you live.

TL;DR: Using the linked google document, contact broadcasters of the Eurovision Song Contest to protest Israel's involvement. It is effective and does help.

AL-QASSAM BRIGADES KILL TWO ISRAELI OFFICERS KILLED IN "NETZARIM" CORRIDOR IN GAZA SHELLING

Two Israeli reservists were killed today in a shelling ambush by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement.

According to both the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Israeli occupation media, two Israeli reservists, both officers, were killed in the "Netzarim" corridor, that divides Gaza in two halves, following an al-Qassam mortar attack.

According the occupation media, the Israeli occupation forces announced the deaths of:

☠️ Master Sgt. (res.) Ido Aviv [28yo] belonging to the 9232nd Battalion of the Yiftah Brigade from Karmiel, in the north of the occupied Palestinian territories.

☠️ Master Sgt. (res.) Kalkidan Meharim [37yo] belonging to the 223rd Battalion of the Carmeli Brigades from Petah Tikva, in the central occupied territories.

This brings the number of soldiers acknowledged as killed by the occupation army to 263, while Al-Qassam claims hundreds of others have also been killed, but not acknowledged.
