Remus who has a thread bracelet that he never takes off and it gets all sticky and crusty and kind of disgusting after he spends hours finger fucking Regulus. And Regulus notices the faintly white residue on the black thread and almost faints

A dark twist in which Remus is so in love with Regulus that he forsakes his morals and ends up joining the dark side with him; they’re both so intelligent that they quickly climb up the ranks to be the dark lords’ right hand men, and he ends up trusting them with his horcruxes- of course Regulus crashes out after what’s been done to Kreacher, and they both begin researching how to destroy them. Remus starts sending anonymous letters to both James and Sirius every time a horcrux is destroyed, letting them know of the dark lord’s weakened state, as well as to warn them of Peter’s betrayal. By the time the final battle begins, Remus and Regulus stand on the sidelines waiting for the final strike, (and also to make sure neither Sirius nor James do something stupid). As they see the body of the dark lord tumbling to the ground, cracking up and turning ashy grey, they hold hands and disappear in a cloud of the blackest smoke (a reminder of what color their souls turned into after taking the dark mark), for they do not care of what will come after, seen as they have everything they need in each other.
