Feel like I’m the only person who was excited by Volos villain reveal rather than upset by it!

I love villain characters sm and I love his outfit and stupid hair!

I see so much back and forth like “oh giratina mustve been controlling him” “oh hes nice to his pokemon so he cant be bad”

Like don’t take his character agency away like that!! (or throw poor giratina under the bus)

why cant he be both?

why cant he be complex and morally grey?

That makes him so much more interesting and likable in my eyes

He felt entitled and had justifications for feeling that way he was happy to do bad things if the end justified the means

He also loved his pokemon and just wanted to be important and recognized for his efforts but he also was well aware of the damage to others his actions would cause

Hes both good and bad because he justifies his own actions in his head!

I love him how he is regardless <3
