Untitled Short Work (Poem? Prose? Idk)

I have always agreed with the idea that the bedroom is a reflection of one's own mental health.

There is barely any space to walk, My desk barely allows work to be done. My clean laundry is in a basket, Dirty piled on the floor. I do not have enough shelves, The things on the floor take up the space for new shelves. The handle fell off my door, Pretty sure it is a metaphor, Though I haven't figured that one out yet. And I still haven't fixed it, Just like everything else, I guess.

I told myself I would clean my room today, like I have repeatedly for the past two years, so instead I am sitting in a café writing this as I wait for my breakfast order, Because I only ever learned how to run away from my problems. And maybe write some words.
