She's not used to you paying for stuff for her. You once offered to pay for her bottom surgery, and she hugged you and burst into tears of joy.

Loves cuddles. Especially when she's little spoon. She feels safe with you wrapping your arms around her.

She hates when you compare yourself to others. She thinks you're perfect just the way you are. "Look at me. There are billions of people on earth, yet I chose you. You know why? Because I love you. Nobody else, just you."

LOVES cosplays. Especially when you cosplay as her favourite characters.

Extremely protective. She will start a fight if someone starts hitting on you.

Will wake up early to make you breakfast. Especially if you're sick.

She will grab your face and cover it with kisses. It's her way of reminding you that she loves you.

Movie nights with Antonia are epic. She goes all out with the snacks, even having a special display to put them in. She also makes hot dogs and nachos, and makes a pillow fort. "How did you afford all these snacks, Antonia?" "Who said I bought them, honey?"

PET NAMES. Honey, darling, sweetheart, abbreviations of your own name, little inside jokes between you two, whatever. She loves giving you nicknames.

Stuck on a section on a videogame? Trying to defeat a specific boss? Antonia will help.

She loves when you help with her makeup. Applying her eyeliner, blending her blush or putting lipstick on. She adores it. "I don't think this lipstick will be on that long..."

She loves when you run your hands through her hair. It's like her very own stress relief.

She goes all out for holidays. Halloween, Christmas, Easter, even your birthday. Every year is always better than the next. Valentine's Day is her favourite, because she gets to shower you with all of her affection.

You wanna go somewhere? Chances are she's already looking at tickets. Especially if it's your favourite musical artist or band.

- You two meet after Charlie rallies the cannibals for the battle with Heaven

- You approach the snake demon out of curiosity. He doesn’t exactly seem like a powerhouse or anything so why is he here to fight?

- You strike up a conversation with and he seems alright enough. He’s more focused on other things, some weird little egg things? They look adorable… kind of delicious but adorable.

- He doesn’t seem to mind you much. He seems nice. Again, not sure how he’ll be helpful against Angels, but he’s a snake, maybe he’ll swallow them whole or something, that’s snake behavior

- That’s where you sort of catch him off guard honestly. “ Are you excited to find out what Angels taste like? My speculation is.. somewhat of a mix between poultry and person. Perhaps with some holy charm dashed in, whatever holiness tastes like.”

- He deadass doesn’t know how to respond. He’s not a cannibal.

- “…..cat got your tongue?” He explains that he will not be eating anyone! Eh.. more for you and your fellow cannibals. “ Your loss.. say, you got a name?”

- Upon first impression, he thinks you’re odd.. like he knows that’s just how cannibals are, but still!

- Over the next few days, you find more and more opportunities to talk to him. He’s an inventor apparently! Those little egg guys adore him (and seem to not have all the lights on upstairs). His poker face is nonexistent thanks to his hat… all fun things.

- You’re pretty sure the Princess of Hell starts trying to play matchmaker when she sees how much you try to talk to him. You find him charming, that’s not a crime

- He does actually start to feel flustered around you after you show so much interest in him

- While he is attracted to men and women, I would peg him as less experienced with men. Luckily, he’s just as shit and flustered as he is when flirting with women

- “ Ssssoo.. I- I- sssee you’re not doing anything right now.. would you like to.. go on a ssstroll right now-with-me??”

- It’s sweet.. endearing that he’s such a train wreck. Of course you agree to go on what is totally not a date

- He chickened out of a kiss that he had tried so hard to set up, but it’s fine.. you choose to be the bolder one. It’s a nice moment with the battle being just days away..

-> If he ever asks you out, it’s certainly.. traditional in a way, you better be happy he doesn’t have access to your family because he would certainly want to ask for your hand through your parents

-> He would go with bringing you a boquet, most likely carnations or roses due to the red colors, with a carnation meaning a divine sort of love with a red rose meaning an earthy sort of love

-> It took soooo much time for him to adjust

-> He spent time in denial, time sulking, time trying to get back into Heaven’s good graces (he’s still trying to figure that out…)

-> After having enough emotionally dealing with that shit, he gave himself a break. He needed it.

-> He went to the bars closest to where he was staying, planning to get drunk. He’d drink a few bottles and bail (possibly finding a hookup along the way)

-> As he sat at the bar, something caught his attention.. a voice. You were singing on the little stage this crappy bar had for the oh so popular karaoke nights

-> He didn’t recognize the song, he doesn’t really keep up with modern music or hell’s music or whatever the hell you were singing but that wasn’t important. It was practically his favorite song now after hearing your cover

-> The second your song is over, he’s all over you, asking you questions, even complimenting you on how good you sound

-> Buys the two of you drinks all night as the conversation goes on and on

-> He definitely wants you to be his hookup, maybe more (imagine that voice in a different context)

-> “ Y’know… I can fucking shred on guitar. You should let me show you some time.”

-> With how things progress.. within DAYS he is wanting a collab/to be in a group

Husk hadn’t been interested in making his feelings known during his life and that was all the more prevalent in death. When living in a place like Hell, you gotta be safe, keep your card close to your chest or someone will take advantage of you. He knew that all too well.. but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have certain soft spots..

He liked how you were so genuine, it’s part of what he loves about you. He knows he loves you- he’s good at understanding people and that includes himself. Even if it’s something.. that’s hard for him to admit. Something about the prospect of letting someone in like that is unnerving.

There was only a day left until the Extermination. The rest of the hotel residents were celebrating, trying to live it up before the battle tomorrow. There were some residents who were calmer.. one was Angeldust or well.. Anthony. He appreciated the change he saw in Angel.. Though in the moment with Angel at his bar, he knew the other could tell something was on his mind.

“ …you thinking about tomorrow, whiskers? It got you worried?”

“ ‘Course not. I’m just thinkin’ of how we might run out of booze at this rate.”

Husk laughed the question off, gesturing the empty bottles around the bar. Angel knew that he was lying. With the entire exorcist army about to be on their doorstep, there was practically no chance any of them would making it.. even you. He both loved and hated that you’d be fighting by his side. He loved your passion, the way you wanted to protect your loved ones, but that’s just it: he wants to protect you. You’re safest far away from there.

“ That’s bull and you know it. You’re worried.. but I don’t think you’re worried about you. I think it’s someone else. Someone special to ya~”

As he danced around outright saying the name, he gestured with all four of his hands over to you. You were wrapped up in a conversation with Cherri Bomb at the moment, talking about who knows what. Husk’s gaze followed Angel’s movements… he wasn’t wrong.

“ ……..………”

“ I knew it! You ain’t denying it.”

Angel had a grin on his face as if it was the most satisfying moment in his afterlife (though it certainly wasn’t).

“ You gonna make a move before it’s too late? Say something you need to?”

“….. I don’t think there’s anything I can to say. It’s.. complicated.”

Angel looked at him, taking the situation more seriously than he had before.

“ ….Husk, Buddy, tomorrow ain’t guaranteed. We both know it... so why not go tell your special little someone how you feel..? What’s there to lose?”

The party had died down, most people were talking amongst themselves at this point… He had to gather himself to work up the nerve to go through with the confession. He knew that he loved you, he was almost positive you felt the same way, but that didn’t take the edge off of this type of deal. He took a breath before walking over to you..

“ Hey.. you mind joinin’ me upstairs?”

He wanted to be somewhere more private for this. Just the two of you.

“ I don’t mind at all.. something up?”

“ Nothin’ to worry about, doll.”

He guided you to the stairs. Once you two were at the top, he led you straight to his room.. you had never been in there. It was.. sort of nice. Certainly dingy. It’s exactly what you thought a man like him would have.

“ …what is this about?”

“ ……….”

He took a moment to figure out his words.. how can he say this? There are so many wrong ways to put it and the possibility of doing it right was slim to none.

“…..we might die tomorrow-”

“ I know that. There’s no where I would rather be than here. Someone needs to show these angels what happens when they pick a fight.”

You interrupted.

“ This isn’t about the damn fight- this is about you. Doll… I.. got feelings for you- I love you. I need you to know incase we’re both double dead tomorrow..”

He was almost surprised to hear the words leave his own mouth much less the surprise you felt.. your eyes met his in the moment after he confessed. There was a silence.

You had felt the same way, how couldn’t you? But putting it to words and saying what you both knew aloud..?

“ I-”

Husk couldn’t finish his sentence as you moved, tightly hugging him. You could feel him loosen up slightly, he had been so tense.. slowly he hugged back.

“…I feel the same, Husk.”

He smiled a bit.. his wings wrapped around you, pulling you closer. It was like you two were the only people in all of hell and that’s the way he likes it. You’re one of the best things that’s happened to him.

Tomorrow may not be guaranteed.. but you two will always have tonight.
