Hello! With the correction ask, I will answer about Suna below! And don't worry sweetie you're fine. I have a big cast

Suna's scales are rough and hard to touch. Her scales are blade proof, so it's not strange as to why. They shift in hues of purple, black, and blue when she's in her true form (dragon form).

I think the close up on Mirach's teary eyes was a small yet great decision both visually and story-wise because this is Alcor's POV in the last page, right? And he always have been weak to Mirach's gaze....sooo yay consistency? 👏

Yeah, Mirach's eyes really appeal to Alcor ^^ Honestly just takes those puppy dog eyes to make him do whatever! XD

absolutely love abusing the power that comes with 3rd person limited pov and just ignoring things and being vague sometimes. does the character know all the details? no? then I don't have to either.

do you think that characters who lost their magic powers ever do weird stuff out of habit? like astronauts who will "drop" things in mid air because they're used to stuff floating at zero gravity?

just imagine an ex-telechinetic staring at their mug of coffee for five minutes when they're particularly sleep deprived before remembering they have to get up to grab it.

or someone who used to be able to fly doing an awkward half jump every time they're startled.

a character turning to speak to spirits they can no longer hear about five times a day.

Living weapon PTSD

Content: punishment aftermath, scars

(stoic whumpee vibes)

Sees someone pick up a long thin object, immediately winces and takes a rigid, chin-up posture like a soldier in line

Or (if severely triggered) yanks off their shirt in one fluid motion, turns and faces the wall, bracing their hands against it for support

If they see a weapon they watch it, and whoever has it, like a hawk

Trying to figure out who's in charge no matter what situation they're in. Using a formal tone with them even if they're TRYING to just be normal

Tensing up around people that act/speak like whumper. They don't want to embarrass themselves by flinching every five seconds so they're just going to flex every muscle until they are gone.

Self aware of their stiff posture. Sitting down and forcing themselves to relax into a couch and put on a fake smile

Caretaker seeing their scars and covering their mouth.

In that event, whumpee flushing and covering them because they're still ashamed of "earning" the punishments that left those marks

Or if they're from combat, smiling and telling the story proudly because they made their owner proud that day and they weren't punished

Trying to explain what happened and then suddenly going quiet

Answering questions like they're being interrogated by a superior

Refusing to speak because they're flashing back to a time they were interrogated in an enemy compound

WRITEBLR INTRO

Hi, writeblr! I’ve finally decided to make an account for my writeblr after ages of debating it. I really want to have a place to talk about my WIPs and post some of my writing, as well as talk to others about their WIPs, so this seemed perfect! I go by Silencer and my pronouns are he/him.

I’ve been lurking and following a lot of blogs for a long time now, although unfortunately I lost access to that account, so I thought I may as well start somewhere! As of right now, I mostly write fantasy. I love writing whump, I adore building huge worlds and magic systems, and I love all things dystopian.

My favourite trope would have to be found family (with a healthy dose of hurt/comfort). I enjoy writing with a combination of lighthearted moments and intense angst, with some darker themes. For now, the focus of this account will be on one of these sets of characters, though in the future I might introduce the rest :)

MY WIP

A Puppet Throne

Follows the evolution of a group of young adults, united by one thing: magic that is wrong, that doesn’t fit with anything their world has ever seen before. Starting out as an alliance built on safety, their power soon gains them notice and they grow to be a formidable gang. They are all each other has, but with forces much bigger than anything they can comprehend at play, they risk losing it all.

Currently, the WIP itself is relatively unplanned and mostly just vibes, however I have been focusing a lot on building up the backstories of the characters involved. This will be the main focus of this blog— I will probably be gradually posting these backstories to introduce my characters. I’ll also post snippets of pieces I have from the main WIP itself.

This WIP has themes of inequality, societal othering and the effects that can have, and a huge emphasis on found family. Content warnings for violence, language, some unsettling themes, gore and potentially some other triggering subject matter.

This is going to be hard for a lot of people to hear but if you want to make your spaces safer for disabled people, then you need to stop assuming malice from every poorly worded post.

A lot of neurodivergencies and disabilities cause people to ramble, lose their train of thought very easily, go on tangents, have disordered thinking, etc. We can get words and names mixed up very easily, lose words entirely, struggle to put our thoughts into actual words that make sense to people, and lose track of conversations. Whether it's from ADHD, psychosis, brain fog, brain damage, or any other condition, thinking and verbalizing ourselves can be really fucking hard.

This isn't malicious. We aren't doing it on purpose to hurt or upset people, and we aren't ignorant about the topic just because we get mixed up. We deserve to have voices, even if we don't always make sense to other people.
