Lotus Flower
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
━━━━━━━━ You were his first and great love, a woman who pretended to be a man to be a warrior and without realizing it you stole the general's heart, he was fascinated with you, your valor and courage were comparable to the fury of a dragon but your beauty similar to a lotus flower, you were unique and although their love blossomed in the wrong place perhaps destiny will give them another chance centuries later, when he sees your face again.
Kim Shin x fem reader¡!
master list¡!
English is not my native language¡¡¡
When you looked at your reflection in the pond you didn't recognize yourself, your hair, once long and silky, was now short and neatly tied back in a ponytail.
Your face, covered in dirt and dried blood, obscured the care you had given your skin before enlisting as a warrior.
¿Why did you do this? You were still questioning yourself, in a moment of impulsiveness, you disobeyed your family, they said you'd only be a pretty face, obedient, quiet, and helpful, but you didn't want that for your future, you didn't want to get married, much less serve your husband.
You wanted more, to read every book in the world, acquire knowledge, and maybe fall in love, like in fairy tales.
You let out a sigh and dipped your hands in the water to take a sip and refresh your face, your body ached from the endless fighting, but you couldn't stop now, you were so close to becoming a great warrior, showing the world that a woman could be strong and beautiful at the same time.
—Soldier, the general requests your immediate presence —a man spoke behind you.
You stood up and deepened your voice to respond.
—Immediately.
General Kim Shin was someone who at first terrified you, you felt that at any moment he could discover you and kill you for infiltrating as someone you definitely weren't but now you believed that he was the only man you could trust in the middle of this entire battlefield.
You wouldn't say it out loud but your heart would skip a beat every time he was near you and complimented you, he didn't know you were a woman, but deep down, you hoped that one day he'd find out and reciprocate your feelings.
You adjusted the heavy armor on your body and went to the tent where the general was.
[...]
Life was monotonous, boring, living nine hundred years had become tedious and although he never expected his supposed girlfriend, he was convinced that one day he would be able to pull the sword from his chest.
He walked through the streets of Seúl, with an umbrella on his head that covered him from the white snow and the coat he was wearing that protected him from the icy wind, he had no direction, he just let his feet guide him to a good destination.
Maybe that thought was planted by God this morning, a slight warning for what was to come.
In front of him, a few kilometers away, he saw you leaving a store with your own bag on your head, you had forgotten the umbrella and the weather had turned against you.
Without thinking much, he approached you and used his umbrella to protect you from the icy snowflakes that fell incessantly from the sky.
—You should cover up or you'll catch a cold —he exclaimed, looking curiously at the name of the place you came from.
"Taekwondo"
He arched an eyebrow and looked down at you.
—Thank you, I thought it would be sunny today, leaving my clothes outside wasn't very smart —You replied with a nervous smile as you looked up and adjusted your bag on your shoulder.
For Shin the world around him stopped abruptly, your eyes, your smile and even your hair were exactly the same as…
He knew that every certain number of years a person was reincarnated with the same face.
But seeing you standing there in front of him made feel so unreal, he wasn't ready, not after so many years even though he always knew there was a chance to see you again, this had caught him off guard.
—¿Why do you look at me like that? —You asked with a raised eyebrow and taking a small step back.
Shin said your name, your old name, how stupid, as if you could remember that time of yesteryear so he wasn't surprised to see the expression of genuine confusion on your face.
—I think you're confusing me —You replied with a tense smile.
—¿Are you a taekwondo teacher? —Him asking to divert the subject, him didn't want to confuse you or make you feel bad, besides, him wasn't even sure that you were really the reincarnation of the woman he fell in love with centuries ago.
Upon receiving your statement, he looked at you once more carefully, was it too much of a coincidence or was it a bad joke from God for putting you in his path once again.
—But this class is only for children from four to twelve years old —You rushed to say awkwardly while maintaining your firm posture despite feeling somewhat intimidated by him strong gaze, you felt strange —Adult classes are held at a different location, at different times, and with a different instructor ¿Are you going to take lessons?
—I have no interest in doing it.
The man's tone of voice made you feel even smaller under his gaze, strange, you never felt that way but somehow you couldn't help having that feeling with this stranger.
—Well... I-I have to go.
But he didn't want you to leave, the feeling that it was really you remained in his head, or rather in his heart, a hunch one might say, ¿What if it was you who drew the sword? ¿Could you even see it? Impossible, you would surely have turned your attention to his chest from the moment he arrived.
—Take the umbrella with you —He said, handing you the umbrella before you left.
You were going to refuse, you didn't want to abuse his chivalry and leave him without protection from the snow but the cold in your hands was stronger than your pride so you took the umbrella, thanked him and turned to leave immediately because you had another commitment and couldn't be late but you stopped a few steps away and saw him again in the same place where you left him.
—¡I promise to return it! —You assured him, bowing again before waving goodbye and continuing on your way.
He watched you walk away silently with his hands in his pocket and inevitably a distant the memory that he shared with you came to mind.
That night he discovered that a woman had pretended to be a man to participate in the battlefield.
You.
He admitted it, you were too convincing, you were smart, strong and cunning but also compassionate and observant.
An attitude that was non-existent among the ranks of his warriors when they were in the middle of a battle.
He still remembered seeing the expression on your face when he confronted you about that lie, there were rules, he respected them most of the time and pretending to be a man to be part of the war was considered high treason, however, he refused to execute you, he kept your secret only because you were one of his best warriors and you were very capable.
You earned him trust and, over time, him heart.
You heard him every night when he needed someone to talk to or the comforting warmth of a hug.
Every time him fought by your side were victorious until one day it wasn't like that, what was a small oversight became a tragedy.
Kim Shin's sword finished off each of his enemies but he was confident, a soldier from the enemy side was going to attack him from behind when he heard your voice alerting him, he immediately reacted but with that small carelessness you had your chest was pierced by a sword
Seeing you fall to your knees with blood pouring from your mouth was an image that remained etched in his mind, he couldn't help you, the only thing he could do was end the life of your murderer but only that, it was a war, there were losses but even with that idea he wasn't prepared to see you die in front of him for saving his life.
Just as he wasn't prepared to see your face again, he truly wanted you to be the reincarnation of his true love.
And if you were, he swore to himself to protect you just as he didn't in your old life.
Sorry for disappearing, but I'm at the end of the semester😭😭
Anyway, I hope you like this. I want to make a fic with this plot but I would do it on Wattpad.😸

Break The Rules
Tumblr media
Summary: You were intelligent, cunning and skilled so your father trusted you when sending you to the games to provide greater protection to the frontman, it was easy, but you didn't count on them accidentally taking your boyfriend hostage.
Warning: Angst, death, drama and some romance.
guard x fem reader
master list
—A small sacrifice for a greater good —said player 456, looking at Young-il with determination and with that you confirmed what your boss and your father told you from the beginning, in these games even the most noble person can be demoted to the filth of society.
You didn't believe it, you seriously thought that maybe this player could end this whole nightmare, put an end to this empire perfectly crafted so that no one would find it unless they wanted to.
But no, he was going to let innocent people die, people from his own team of the X to save only those from his small team, despite your disappointment you did not judge him, in his place you would also do the same, he poor man knew that this was a failed mission since he arrived and now he only had to save as many people as he could.
You did the second thing planned and hid under a bed while you watched the players kill each other with blows or with glass from the bottles they had been given for lunch, it was a hunt, you had seen it before through a screen but never as close as now.
The lights turned on and off without stopping while the terrified screams reached your ears, out of inertia, you turned to look at one of the cameras without any expression on your face, you knew that your father was watching you.
Until they finally stopped and the silver metal doors opened allowing several guards to pass with the triangle on their masks, you placed yourself under one of the bodies just as 456 had told you, they would pretend to be dead to take them away weapons and attack.
You had practice, so as soon as Gi-hun gave the order you took a gun from one of your co-workers and shot him in the chest to end his life, you didn't feel pity, anyway you didn't know who they were and you never you got to know them.
You covered Young-il at all times, that's what you were there for, to make sure your boss didn't get hit by a stray bullet or discovered on his mission.
You shot each and every one of the guards without missing until you saw how they ran to the door with the intention of leaving, it would be a complete waste to continue trying to control some armed players, internally you wished that they would all manage to leave because that way the rebellion It would be a failure and a certain person important to you would still be on the other side of the door.
But there was one guard inside, a guard with the figure from the square captured on his mask, his gun ran out of bullets and he was vulnerable so Gi-hun managed to subdue him easily.
—Take off your mask —Gi-hun ordered, pointing the gun he had previously stolen from one of the unsuspecting guards.
That's when your breath caught in your throat and your heart squeezed in your chest.
The man you loved was kneeling, now without the mask covering his face and with his gaze lowered, seeing 456 point the gun at him made your firmness and facade falter.
But you stayed in your place, holding your hands on the weapon you were carrying.
—I want you to guide us to your leader.
Gi-hun asked with authority and with his finger firmly on the trigger, making it clear that he would not allow any negative response.
Your boyfriend's gaze shifted towards you, everyone says that the eyes are the window to the soul, speaking when words are not enough and with that look he let you know that right now his life was in serious danger.
You nodded softly to give him permission to do what player 456 asked.
Although he didn't have many options anyway.
—I will guide you.
While 390 questioned him a little and 456 organized the weapons in front of them you picked up the magazines and placed some in your jacket pocket until you felt the presence of the boss next to you.
—We can't let them get to the control cabin —His voice was low, enough for only you to hear but also demanding to make it quite clear that if you failed you were dead.
—I know, I'll take care of that.
You sounded confident but your gaze cautiously followed your clumsy and abandoned boyfriend, since you were entrusted with this mission you told him to stay away from these games, to work alone as part of the security from the cabin but he had to ignore you.
Now, you had to come up with something quick to get him out of there in one piece and breathing.
After two more players joined them, 456 let your boyfriend lead them out of the confinement and up the long colorful pastel stairs, Young-il behind him and you at his side, holding his gun firmly and alert for possible spots where the other guards would be positioned.
You were not wrong, as soon as your field of vision saw the first triangle you shot for the kill because you knew that the life of the man you love was also at stake.
They advanced successfully until there came a point where Gi-hun stopped the hostage and pointed the gun directly at his face.
—If you are wasting our time-
—No —He quickly shook his head and looked at the ground —Just go a little further, you will reach a door turning down the hallway.
Your muscles tensed when he handed his mask to 456 and you could have sworn the boss next to you cursed under his breath.
—You will need this to pass...
He said firmly as Gi-hun took the mask, his gaze went to you, he wanted to look into your eyes to let you know that maybe you should run away with them but the man next to you caught his attention, you didn't tell him what you were doing on this mission but when he saw the frontman standing there among the others as if undercover he knew that you were also alone to protect him, he mentally cursed when In-ho's eyes looked at him with sternness and reprimand.
He was dead.
—¡Down! —He just heard you and saw you run towards him, pulling him down in a matter of seconds.
The sound of a gunshot.
The shots were not your priority now, your eyes only looked at the young guard who looked at you dazed but alive, still alive.
—The bullet grazed you but only that —You said, watching the blood come out of a superficial wound on the crown of him head.
—¡¿Do you know each other?! —Gi-hun exclaimed, looking at them both in disbelief while the rest of the players shot at the guards who were about to kill your boyfriend.
Your gaze fell on the frontman, he was looking at you silently, ready to kill you if you opened your mouth or to do something if you happened to say the plan, you considered your opportunities and advantages quickly in this situation, you had few, anyway you and your boyfriend were walking corpses from now on.
But you wouldn't reveal the identity of your boss, maybe with that you'll be able to survive.
—She's my girlfriend, I know her from outside —He hastened to say, looking at you cautiously, as if what he said was true and he hoped you would confirm it —I didn't know you were here... —He added seeing you.
You didn't answer anything, you just nodded.
—We can trust him —You said, handing him his gun once again so that at least now he has something to protect himself with.
However, the rest were not convinced and you could feel the frontman's penetrating gaze on you but it didn't matter, the only thing you had to focus on now was to survive.

Hi ;-)
Request for an In-Ho x preteen platonic female reader where reader is the adopted shy introverted Daughter of Jun-Ho (frontmens Brother) got adopted 1 year after In-Ho dissapierd and got into the games by accident (cheating her id and faking it) how would ir be if the first time she speaks towards the Group of Gi-Hun and noticed that maybe player 001 used his right hand to throw the toy spin at the second game and for eating with a fork he used his left hand? So she could say neither he is both handed or left handed and mention something like my appa jun-ho can write with left and right but using a weapon he is just right handed funny huh? 💕🙈
I like the idea, I hope what I wrote is to your liking :D
Curiosities, observations and other small qualities
Tumblr media
You were a smart but calm girl, with many fascinations towards different things and you constantly asked questions without stopping when you noticed something, that's why your father told you that you would be a researcher and there was no better compliment for you than that, however, for a certain person that would be more of an inconvenience.
¡Hwang In-ho x fem reader platonic!
master list¡!
You were curious, you always had been, since you could remember you questioned everything, even why a fly moved its legs when it stood on food.
Questioning everything and everyone brought you a lot of knowledge, you were smart and active but it also brought you problems, sometimes you found out things that you would rather not have done or people got fed up with you, that's why you spent the first five years of your life in an orphanage feeling the rejection of others.
Until one day there was an accident at the orphanage, the police came to investigate a little and despite feeling somewhat threatened by your superiors when talking about the negligence in the place, you did not stay silent, you glided through the hallways until you could talk to a police officer about your concerns.
You never imagined that the same police officer you spoke to would adopt you a month later, of course he was not going to leave you alone there after having practically ratted out the director of the orphanage.
The feeling of confidence that Jun-ho gave you from the beginning only increased from that moment, soon he was a fun, affectionate and responsible father to you.
Grandma Hwang was the sweetest, she made you chocolate chip cookies every time Jun-ho left you in her care and sometimes she let you sleep in.
Life certainly improved for you but you never stopped asking constant questions, Jun-ho congratulated you for that, he said that you would be a great detective when you grew up but your grandmother didn't seem so happy about that, she said that you would get in trouble.
And she was right.
One afternoon while you were waiting for the next train to take you home after having spent the afternoon doing homework at a friend's house, you noticed something peculiar.
You were leaning against the wall eating a bar of chocolate, with your headphones on and the hood of your sweatshirt over your head when in front of you, at the other end of the tracks, you saw a man in a suit with a briefcase playing Ddakji with another man.
Your eyes practically shone with interest when you saw that if you win the man with the briefcase he would give money, but a grimace formed on your lips when you saw that if lost would receive a hard slap.
The salesman ended up handing a card to that man and turned around to leave but at that moment you ran to catch up with him right on the stairs.
You went towards him but when you faced him his posture seemed really intimidating, you took two steps back with your best friendly smile.
At first he didn't let you play, you weren't on his list and you were just a teenager, you would probably die as soon as you stepped on the first arena but your insistence was too much to the point that he got fed up with you and let play.
You didn't know what you were getting into when you took the money had earned and the card that he offered you, but your curiosity was so much that that night you couldn't even sleep because of the intrigue of knowing what would happen if you dialed that number, he said he would do you a favor, he warned you not to call before he left, but that warning only increased your curiosity.
So the next morning the first thing you did was call, they asked for your full name and age, you lied, you said were twenty-five years old but you were barely turning sixteen.
—I'll be late today appa, I'm going to a friend's house —You told your father that same day while you were getting out of the car to go to school.
—Okay, but call me to come get you, I don't want you to go alone at night —Jun-ho responded with a fatherly tone and a small smile.
You nodded and said goodbye to him to enter the school but "going to a friend's house" was an excuse, you would go to the address those people gave you so you could enter those games.
[...]
You regretted it completely, there were times when your actions led you to good things, maybe bad things… ¿But this? it was already an extreme.
If you had known that approaching that man in a suit would be your biggest butterfly effect, you would have walked away immediately but now here you were, wearing the same set of clothes as the rest while you looked curiously at player 001, the man who condemned them all when he pressed the button with the blue circle.
You stayed away from the rest as all the players dispersed, some with sorrowful expressions and others with triumph, the votes had been made and staying had been the final decision by majority.
But your gaze focused on player 001, his vote was decisive and you were curious to know why he pressed the circle but then you saw him form an almost imperceptible malicious smile while he stared at 456,
Player 456 had shouted that he had already been in those games during the voting and helped the others during "green light, red light", he knew what would happen and judging by his expression of anguish and defeat you deduced that it was true, he was telling the truth, now, ¿why was 001 interested in him? ¿Was he looking for your help or was it something else? The man felt your gaze and turned to see you, you immediately turned away and walked tensely.
You stayed away and alone, just watching the others form groups until you saw some of them surround 456, once again your curiosity got the better of you and you went towards them cautiously like a small cat walking among dogs.
In-ho had a clear goal but since he saw you, observing him in detail, he knew that you would be a problem, for that and other reasons. ¿What the hell was a teenager doing in his games?
After the other curious players left, he sat next to Gi-hun and tried to continue talking but he noticed your presence a few steps in front of them.
—¿Can we help you with something young lady? —390 asked, looking at you with curiosity.
Due to your poor ability to socialize you wanted to deny and walk away but you also had to keep in mind that this place was survive or die, you needed to be with the smartest team and what better than the team of a former winner so gathering all the courage you had in your body you spoke.
—¿Can I be on your team? —They looked at each other doubtfully until 001 spoke.
—¿How old are you girl?
—Twenty-five —Your answer was so sure that it made them hesitate but just by looking at you in silence it made tell your real age —I'll be sixteen next month.
—¿What kind of debts would a sixteen year old girl have? —asked 388 from his bed and with his mouth full of food.
You pressed your lips into a straight line and glared at him —¿Are going to accept me on your team or not?
Before anyone could say anything Gi-hun nodded silently and you sat down next to him. Well, at least you wouldn't be alone anymore during your stay in this place.
When the lights went out and everyone went to sleep you curled up in your bed and tried to close your eyes but it was impossible, even with 456 and 001 awake on guard you couldn't sleep peacefully.
In-ho noticed the uncomfortable way you moved in bed so he spoke to you cautiously and invited you to stand guard with them at least until you get sleepy.
—¿Aren't you afraid of this place? Your parents are probably very worried about you, ¿What would your mother say if she knew that you were not eating and sleeping well? —He said cautiously as he waved goodbye to Gi-hun, now it would only be the two of you on guard.
—I don't have a mother... —You mumbled, drawing with your fingers on the ground and when you saw the expression on him face you smiled sideways —I never met her, I only live with my appa and the halmonim.
—Well…then they'll wondering where you are —He said looking at you with curiosity, in case you were to die here, he wanted to know who would miss you
You twisted the lips and nodded silently, you missed them and wanted to return to them as soon as possible but the idea that you could die tomorrow or in the next five days tormented you.
As if he had read your thoughts, he placed a comforting hand on your shoulder and speak: —You'll be fine, we'll get out of here alive and you'll see them again.
Those words, although seemed simple and empty, were a flash of hope for you, you smiled at him with closed lips and nodded in agreement, anyway, this were just children's games ¿right?
With that thought in mind you went to sleep but when you woke up the next morning with that melody ringing in your ears you couldn't help but feel anxious, your stomach was in knots and the desire to vomit due to stress and fear was evident on your face.
—¿Are you fine? ¿Do you want to go to the bathroom? —001 asked you as followed Gi-hun walking down the colorful stairs to the next game.
You assured him that you were fine and continued walking in silence, "This is going to be a piece of cake, it's just games" you thought as you looked curiously at the playground where they were taken, it was colorful.
But when the robotic voice said that they should make teams of five you reconsidered your chances of survival.
You walked among all the players looking for who would want you on their team but being a female teenager diminished your advantages considerably, you saw player 333 approach you, he was going to ask you to be part of his team but before he could do so two hands placed themselves firmly on your shoulders and dragged you to team 456.
—Now we are complete —001 said with triumph and a smile on his face shaking you gently making you smile gratefully.
After giving them the instructions, each team organized themselves, sat on the floor and waited their turn.
Each team would have to go through a series of games while having their ankles tied to each other and in a time of five minutes, they had to be coordinated and sure, you said you were good at Ddakji so that would be your game.
You felt motivated, you analyzed every move the previous players made and noticed every small mistake that led to their death, your team would not make those mistakes.
In-ho saw you from time to time, you were observant, a detail that he would not overlook, that gave you value points because he was almost sure that you would be one of the finalists if another stronger player did not kill you before that.
However, he never thought that you could also become a problem.
—¿How do you know my name? —Gi-hun asked after he had mistakenly called him by his name.
—I heard that's what your friend called you and I thought could do it too, ¿does it bother you?
His justification got him out of trouble but he could feel your intriguing gaze boring into the back of his neck, your mind wandered in previous conversations, you hadn't really heard him but maybe it was because you were nervous, even so, your curiosity and intrigue were present.
You proposed saying their names, maybe that would help build confidence in the team and they could get out of this test alive.
Each team had their turn to play, some passed successfully and others ended up dead, when it was their turn to play you noticed that they were the last, you didn't pay much attention to this detail but your brain saved it just in case.
You were the first to play, you did it the first time and the rest celebrated, then it was Jung-bae's turn, another triumph, Dae-ho also had immediate success.
Now it was Young-il's turn, it would be his turn to spin the top and everyone would believe that like the first three he would do it the first time but their hearts stopped and the air left their lungs when the top didn't spin on the ground.
You remained silent during the three attempts he made and failed, time was ticking and your heart was beating like crazy but you clearly noticed how in the last attempt that was successful he used his left hand.
Curious, first he did it with his right hand and failed three times, now he did it with his left hand and he did it the first time.
[...]
Once again in the huge dormitory, all the players who managed to survive the second game were scattered talking among small groups, alliances they had formed with this test.
You were happy, you put aside your suspicions about Young-il convincing yourself that you were just paranoid and there was nothing strange.
—I apologize for the reaction I had a few minutes ago —He said as they sat on the stairs of the huge bunk beds —I lost control...
He finished with a smile that almost seemed like genuine apology and understanding but when you spoke the expression on his face tensed.
—That's fine, but if you knew you were left-handed you should have tried left from the beginning —You said calmly, as if you were talking about a simple observation, but the rest's gaze rested on him with intrigue and even slight suspicion, especially Gi-hun, because this observation added to the fact that he had called him by his confident name, caused a certain distrust —Maybe this way we would have saved ourselves time and that scare.
The soft laugh you made at the end managed to lighten the atmosphere a little but In-ho knew that your words had caused a crack in his plan.
—I usually use the right but I think I'm good at playing with the left —He lied, letting out a small laugh to disguise the tension in his body.
Fortunately for him, Dae-ho changed the conversation bragging a little about how they were about to pass all the minigames without any errors, but In-ho remained attentive to you ¿How could a simple teenager be so observant? Now he was going to make sure you died in the next game, he wasn't going to risk slipping up with you around.
He had a problem with you and he was going to eliminate it, the complete opposite of what you thought, you believed that Young-il was someone you could trust and for no reason you had hopes that with him by your side you could get out of there alive.
After the votes, the pink guards distributed the food to each player but you had trouble opening your milk box.
—¿Can you help me? —You asked Young-il next to you.
He took the box and opened it without any problem but you noticed again that he used his left hand causing a giggle on your part.
—¿What are you laughing at?
—You are left-handed.
In-ho looked at the rest to make sure no one had heard you and then turned to look at you, this time with sharper and colder eyes.
He was definitely going to make sure you died in tomorrow's game
But the next thing you said made his mind go blank.
—My appa Jun-ho can write with his left and right but when he uses his weapon he is right-handed —You said with a small smile on your lips.
—¿Is your dad a police officer? —He asked, his voice lower than he would have liked, you nodded taking a bite of the piece of bread you held in your hands —Repeat your last name to me.
His voice sounded demanding and tense so you looked at him intrigued but when you saw that he was serious you responded.
—Hwang, ¿Do you know my dad? —You asked, curious and with a happy expression on your face.
You were his brother's daughter ¿how could that be possible? He didn't know about any existing girlfriend but now he reconsiders his decision, you were family but if you kept talking about every observation you had and went so far as to give him away he would kill you before you even spoke.
—No —He said with a more serene expression but his eyes still reflected something that you couldn't decipher —I've only heard him name before.
Now In-ho had a severe conflict.
But one thing was for sure, he would try to keep you close, whether to protect you or simply to make sure you didn't notice anything suspicious.

When you infiltrated these games you had low expectations, you had already seen before through cameras and a mask but doing them yourself, being another player certainly awakened the adrenaline in your body.
You already knew that they would play, you had helped the frontman organize them and choose each one but now you regretted a little for having given the brilliant idea of having the lights turn on and off constantly just to increase the fear in the players.
The platform turned and turned under your feet, your heart was beating normally but for some strange reason your breathing became more intense, once again adrenaline began to flow through your system as you heard the children's music echo throughout the place.
—¿What do you think the next number is? —Jung-bae asked next to you with notable nervousness.
—Dos —respondiste sin pensar mucho.
—¿How do you know?
—The number of players and the number of doors —Young-il said quickly, you hadn't noticed the small mistake that could have put your identity at risk —There can only be two players per room, the first to arrive will be saved.
You nodded in agreement and continued looking forward, knowing that your father would reprimand you later for that mistake.
"Two"
The robotic voice rang throughout the place and in a matter of seconds each player grabbed his partner and ran without looking back.
You ran through the crowd without knowing exactly who to grab because the rest of your group had already grabbed their respective partner and only you were left, "great dad" you thought rolling your eyes but he had his reasons for leaving you there, anyway they weren't going to kill you even if you lost.
Despite the disturbance, you walked calmly through the place looking for an empty room so you could go in alone, you didn't realize that the counter was about to reach zero.
Ni siquiera te diste cuenta cuando un jugador corrió hacia ti, simplemente sentiste que alguien tiraba fuerte y firme de tu brazo y te introducía en una sala verde.
As soon as you heard the "click" of the door close you looked up to see who had dragged you there, at that moment, you were sure that your eyes shone like they usually do in the fairy tales that mom told you when you were little.
—A thanks is enough —Se-mi said with disdain while taking deep breaths.
Her short black hair caught your attention, it fit perfectly with his features, his skin looked so soft and shiny from the sweat that adorned his face, your eyes landed on his lips, pink and thin, pretty.
—Stop seeing me like that —She demanded and you immediately looked away.
Hearing her voice for the second time was like music to your ears, it sounded so firm, confident, the complete opposite of the expression that was forming on her face, you frowned, ¿why did you feel this? Damn.
You reviewed her words mentally, you hadn't even realized that you completely ignored the life or death situation that should torment you and the sound of gunshots coming from outside, it was as if she had stolen your brain and rational sense just by looking into her eyes.
¿What the hell was happening you?
—Thank you —You said, feigning more anguish —You saved me
Se-mi remained silent this time but looked at you curiously, ¿why did you seem not to be afraid? ¿Were you very brave, very stupid or were you hiding something?
For the first time you felt the room around you suffocating, it was strange, you wanted to get out and get away from her because of what she was making you feel but at the same time you didn't want to do it, her aroma filled your nose, a sweet mixture, traces of the perfume she used before coming here, mixed with the adrenaline that her body emanated.
The seconds felt eternal, for the two girls who were there, and as soon as the door opened you were the first to leave at full speed.
However, as you let your feet guide you back to the huge room with the other players, your mind still wandered to the features of that girl with the number 380 emblazoned on her clothes.
—¿Are you fine? —Your father's hand on your shoulder brought you out of the thoughts.
You nodded.
But you didn't feel good.
You had never before experienced these mixed emotions that accumulated in your stomach, you had not had a boyfriend or girlfriend, you had arrived on this island since you were a girl and therefore your social life only focused on masked soldiers and your father.
In-ho was a busy man, you knew it, therefore you had never talked to him about love or relationships between couples, incredible, you knew how to handle all kinds of weapons and hand grenades but you didn't know what people felt when they liked others.
—Not really —You decided to correct your previous answer, it wasn't the time but you needed your father —¿What did you feel when you saw mom for the first time?
Your question caught him off guard, he stopped walking down the endless stairs and turned to look at you with a raised eyebrow.
—¿Really? ¿Now?
You raised your shoulders and put your hands in the pockets of jacket, the other players behind you complained about having stopped the line and continued moving forward with him telling you that would talk about it at lunch time.
As you continued walking you felt a pair of eyes on you so turned your head a little to discover who was looking at you so much but instantly regretted it when you met their 380 gaze.
Once again your heart beat with speed
¿Why was she looking at you? ¿Did you catch her attention the way she caught yours? ¿Was she having the same doubts? Without realizing it your hands were sweating inside your pockets.
—Well… talk to me —In-ho sat next to you, a little apart from the rest of the group because they didn't know what your family bond was or your respective true identities.
Cautiously and without omitting any details, you told him exactly how that person made you feel since you saw, how his eyes captivated you and his aroma attracted you like a mouse to hot bread.
After a couple of minutes in which he listened to you attentively and in silence, he finally spoke with a soft smile.
—I'm glad you experienced the attraction for the first time —He paused and his smile diminished a little —but I don't like that you did it in this place... You have to keep in mind that if he dies…
—She —You interrupted him, looking down at your food —It's not he… it's, She...
In-ho looked at you in silence for a few seconds, increasing the anxiety in your body until he spoke again calmly and confidently.
—Listen… I know you lived under rules and orders for several years but this is not like that… For love there are no rules or a guide and in this case, you don't have to worry if it's a he or a she, but here…
—I know —You said with slight frustration running your hands through your golden hair, you didn't want her to die, whatever the reason she was here you didn't want her body to end up in a gift box.
—Just don't do something reckless.
And with that short conversation your father stood up and left again with Gi-hun to continue with his plan, you were grateful for the little time he gave you but you still felt confused.
During the next few hours you were not focused, you cast fleeting glances around the huge room looking for her and you did not see her until the votes, she voted by scratch, she wanted to leave, strange, when you saw her you noticed the blue circle on the left side of her chest.
The votes had been tied so they would repeat the votes the next day but you could feel the tension between both sides and the last straw was a fight in the men's bathroom where five players died.
You knew what was coming now, you had seen it several times before, the special game
At night this place would be a battlefield full of blood, hatred and death, the forks in your food would be weapons and the players themselves would become killing machines as soon as the lights went out.
Gi-hun gathered a small number of players on his side to come up with a plan, they would form a rebellion to get out of here, how naive, if they knew they had the leader of this place among them maybe would have won this fight, you thought silently.
But your head was also thinking about someone else, about a certain black-haired woman who was in her bed playing with the rings on her fingers.
Your eyes looked at her analytically, she looked so calm but at the same time worried, there was something that worried her, immediately your eyes moved to the opposite side where you saw player 124 looking at her with hatred, contempt and other negative emotions that only meant one thing in this place.
Kill.
"Don't do anything reckless"
Your father's words resonated in your head, you lowered your gaze and continued listening like 456 but occasionally you turned to look at her once more.
So until the lights of the emorme room went out, the glow of the figures on each side was the only thing visible among the darkness and the soft murmuring mixed with soft breathing became present, you followed the plan and the instructions and went under the bed to just watch as the players killed each other.
But you heard a scream that caught your attention, you saw 124 attacking the girl who had taken over your head and without thinking twice you came out of your hiding place despite hearing your father's protests, here he couldn't protect you, in this game you could die like any other player but you didn't care.
You ran until you reached them and with a kick you pushed him away from Se-mi who fell to the ground exhausted from the confrontation, if it hadn't been for you she would already be dead.
—Get away from her —You hissed, watching him with disdain as he stood up again with a broken glass bottle in his hand.
—¡This is not your business! —Nam-gyu raised the bottle and tried to stab it in your face but you skillfully moved away and hit him in the chest with a strong, concise movement.
As a result, he lost his breath and his balance for a few seconds, but being highly drugged, the adrenaline was in his favor and he managed to throw himself at you once again, this time managing to make a cut on the side of your abdomen.
A stab of pain invaded you and you stumbled back, he was going to attack you again but Se-mi took him off of you and pushed him down the stairs, she was barely going to ask you if you were okay when you took his hand and pulled away from there, both ran through the chaos and hid under a bed.
—You're bleeding —She said seeing the wound in your abdomen, it was not lethal but it was scandalous.
—I'll be fine —You responded with a soft smile.
The closeness between you and her was great, you could now see with perfection and fascination each of her facial features, her bright eyes, her thin lips, the piercing that decorated her nose and the black ribbon that hugged her neck.
You could practically hear your heart beating.
And you knew you weren't the only one, she also kept her gaze fixed on you.
—Thank you for saving me... —She murmured close to you to the point where you could feel his breath hit your face.
You didn't answer anything but millions of words crossed your head, you wanted to tell her many things "you are beautiful ¿what did you do to me?" maybe even kiss her but you knew this wasn't the right time and you still weren't sure what you felt or if she felt the same.
When the lights came back on and the guards came in to remove the bodies, you ignored the plan that 456 had said, you just stayed with her, you wanted to do it.
Even when Young-il talked you into going with them to the rebellion you refused and stood by Se-mi's side, receiving an unreadable look from he.
But he didn't insist and left you with the other players while he betrayed his entire team.
—¿Won't you go with them? —She asked you curiously as she bandaged the wound on your body, her hands felt like heaven on your skin but you kept your face serene throughout the entire process.
—No, I'm where I should be.
You had changed sides, you would not be a soldier again, you just wanted to be with Se-mi, get her out of there alive and pay any debt she owes.
Incredible the things someone can do for love.
And In-ho understood that which is why he gave you full control over the decisions you would make from now on.

> Seong Gi-hun
With him the tea parties were never boring
He always made you laugh and made sure you had fun even when your mother looked at him sternly for being with you longer than he should, now you won't finish the schoolwork.
He wasn't a good father, admitted it, but at least he tried and this time he didn't make the same mistake as did with your little sister.
—I think the princess would love to have more tea! —He said in a squeaky voice moving your toy doll as if she was the one talking.
You laughed and served him more with a fine movement, you loved the few moments spent with your father.
But you also noticed the tension that your father and mother had every time he came home and that was something that you didn't like, you were small but not ignorant, you could see that something was wrong between them, you just didn't know what it was about and that led you to commit some pranks that in your mind seemed innocent.
Like, for example, sneaking out of school to go see him, at first he would congratulate you for being so smart but then he would scold you for putting yourself at that risk.
—I like that you come to see me but don't do it this way, your mother would kill me —He said taking your hand as both walked through the subway to take the train back to school.
—She doesn't mind —You said with an innocent smile —besides, she's busy organizing the move.
—¿Moving? ¿Where are they going to move?
You raised your shoulders without having an answer, neither your mother nor your stepfather wanted to tell and that activated an alert in Gi-hun's head, after taking you to school again was when he found that strange and mysterious man with the briefcase and after that day your father was never the same.
He only wanted the best for you and your little sister and if he had to stay away to protect you that's what he would do.
> Cho Sang-Woo
Walking on his shoulders was the best, you felt like you could see everything from above and you liked hugging him by the neck from time to time.
It was curious how you were the only one who could see him smile genuinely, at first he felt scared when received the news that he was going to be a father, he wasn't going to lie, considered leaving you with your mother and sending money every month but now he couldn't see himself in a world without you.
—¿Do you want vanilla or strawberry ice cream? —him asked you as I walked towards the ice cream stand.
—¡Strawberry! —You responded happily while pulling his hair a little like that chef mouse used to do in the movie you liked so much.
He let out a low chuckle and walked towards it but stopped short when he saw a group of men that he instantly recognized walking casually down the sidewalk, they still didn't see Sang-woo but he was sure that if they did there would be problems because of his money problems.
He immediately put you on the ground and walked back the way came from, you looked at him in confusion, but before asking a question he entered a store without letting go of your hand.
—¿And the ice cream?
Your question caught his attention and he took his attentive gaze away from the door.
He formed the best smile could and told you that better choose some candy from there, you excitedly did so, ignoring the tension on his part and after a few minutes fortunately those bullies continued walking without seeing them, Sang-woo was able to release the air trapped in his lungs and returned to you.
After paying for the chocolates you took, both left the store and continued walking back home until Sang-woo met the recruiter.
The recruiter filled him with promises of a stable and secure future for you, a future where he wasn't constantly worried about your safety or whether he had enough money to buy the things you wanted.
He left you in the care of your grandmother and entered the games, it didn't matter what he had to do or the traitorous murderer he would become, he promised to come home and would do that.
> Hwang Jun-ho
No matter what he did, you did exactly the same thing whether it was something common or something dangerous.
¿Was he preparing to have cereal for breakfast? You did it too, ¿did he accidentally spill milk on the table? You also dropped it just to copy it.
You saw him as a hero and bragged at school that your father was a police officer to the point where they bullied you for even listening to it, something you didn't care about because you were still proud to say it.
People used to tell Jun-ho that you were a mini copy of him and that made him smile, because it was true and he was proud of it but also a little terrified of the trouble you were going to get into as you grew up.
He would drop you off at school every morning to make sure brought your breakfast and were well combed and clean, sometimes he struggled with your hair because being a single father he had to resort to video tutorials on the internet but you were always happy with the result.
—If you can't open your water bottle, ask the teacher for help —Your father said as you got out of the car.
—¡Yes daddy! —With your backpack carried on the shoulder and stumbling you ran towards the entrance of the school before they closed, it was already late and there was little tolerance and the teacher at the entrance let you know with an expression of disgust when she saw you.
You apologized with a slight bow and the teacher scolded you, she was already telling you about your punishment when suddenly Jun-ho sounded the sirens of his patrol car to get the teacher's attention.
Your father was still sitting inside the vehicle, only this time showing his best smile and waving at her with one hand.
The woman immediately changed her posture, gave your father a flirtatious smile and gently pushed you into the school, telling you that this was the only exception.
Jun-ho knew how to use his charms and he would use them as long as it was to save you from a school punishment or for them to make exceptions like this.
both had an excellent father-daughter relationship, however, when he went to that island to look for In-ho and then he was found in the water, those were the worst days of your short life. During the time he was in a coma, you slept next to him and your grandmother had to take you off of him by order of the nurses.
The good thing about that is that when Jun-ho opened his eyes, the first thing he felt was your body pressed against his like a little koala looking for comfort.
You were a real daddy's girl.
> Ali Abdul
Due to your nationality you were excluded at school, you didn't care much since the encouraging words of your mother and father always echoed in your head but when you started learning magic tricks to impress your classmates the teasing got worse.
Now you were in the back of your house trying to learn a card magic trick while holding back tears, you didn't want to worry your family, your father was constantly working and your mother was busy taking care of newborn brother.
You knew your family was going through a hard time so tried to make as little noise as possible.
You placed a six diamond card in your left hand and shuffled the other cards with your right hand, you made a quick movement of your hands and the card managed to appear right in the middle of the others
—Taraaaa... —you said without much encouragement despite your successful result.
Suddenly you heard a joyful applause and turned your head as saw your father coming out of the house looking at you with pride.
—¡That was fantastic princess!
—¿Oh really? ¡Thank you! —You said more excited than before, rearranging the cards in your hands to do the trick.
—It would be an honor to see a great magician do her show.
Despite being absent from you most of the day, he loved you and always reminded you by telling you or just paying you a lot of attention, even if it was only for a short time.
He knew that they bullied you for being different from others, he also suffered that discrimination but he tried to make you feel better every day.
For the next two hours he was attentive to every magic trick you taught him and applauded with pride and surprise every time you finished successfully, may have had no money and social status was horrible but were a united family and that was all that mattered.
He entered the games to help his family move forward, he spent each one thinking about you, your mother and your brother, family was his motivation and in fact, thanks to you he was saved in the game of marbles.
"Nothing is what it seems"
You said at the end of each act of magic and for some reason he remembered the phrase when he was about to fully trust Sang-woo, he didn't and just as you played with illusions and cards, he played with distraction and marbles.
> Hwang In-ho
He is not an excellent father, his work and the hard life he led consumed him as a human, but at the end of the day he always made sure to come to your room to read you a bedtime story, turn on the night light so you wouldn't be afraid of the dark, and stay by your side until you fell asleep.
You were a small lotus flower growing in a minefield, he disliked it but it was the only way to have you by his side, he affectionately called you "little sun" because you illuminated his life among so much death and darkness.
—...And then the circle did this for me —You finished narrating your day while showing him a paper flower that a guard with the circle figure impregnated on his mask had made for you.
—it's very pretty —He said after turning on the light to sleep and sitting next to you on the bed.
He was busy most of the day so he asked the guards to take care of you, a wonder for you and a danger for them because if he noticed a single unhealed scratch on your body he would make sure that the guard who didn't take good care of you would pay the consequences.
—It's time to go to sleep.
In-ho covered you with the blanket and placed a kiss on your forehead while humming a sweet melody that your mother loved.
You pretended to fall asleep and he left the room, usually you were obedient to his every rule but this time would be different.
This occasion was special.
You put on your bunny slippers and left the room wearing your duck pajamas, one of the square guards saw you on the screen but with just two buttons he changed the image to prevent the frontman from seeing you.
You walked cautiously until a triangular guard found you and guided you to a huge room with a childlike atmosphere, a blue sky painted all over the wall with white clouds and rainbows decorating it.
He gave you a radio and you spoke to all the circular workers to start your big plan.
You were a very smart and nice girl so you managed to convince everyone to help you organize a surprise birthday party for your father.
Placed balloons of all colors, confetti bombs everywhere and they made you a cake just as you requested, a large cake with a badly made figure of the frontman on top.
The next morning the mere image of seeing your father wearing his dark gray suit and his trademark mask in the middle of the playground with lots of colorful confetti falling on him and shouts of "Congratulations" from all the workers was enough to make you laugh.
In-ho was on the verge of a breakdown, there was a lot of work to do and you had distracted all his employees with this but he immediately calmed his fury when he saw you smiling like that.
That day was something unusual on the island, all the masked men received a slice of cake and saw their leader, the most firm, severe and imposing man open birthday gifts with his little daughter by his side, that day was an exception and there were no scoldings for helping you.
Now everyone was sure of one thing, you were his great weakness and if something happened to you the frontman would have no mercy on the world.
> The Salesman
The night passed calmly, the boring and monotonous atmosphere of the luxurious house in which you lived was about to consume you when you heard the main gate open, you quickly left your room, ran downstairs and saw your father, taking off his jacket and hanging it on the coat rack.
—¿What is the reason for this reception? —He asked you curiously as he placed his briefcase on the floor.
—¡I'm bored!
He looked at you in silence and tilted his head a little at the same time as he crouched down to be at your level.
—¿And what do you want to do? —He asked you even though he already knew your answer.
You had inherited his love for random games, where you didn't know if you would be the next to lose or win, so that was a hobby shared as father and daughter.
—¡Poker! —You said enthusiastically, forming a malicious closed-lipped smile on your mouth as you pulled a set of cards out of your pocket.
He couldn't be more proud, he was molding you into his shape and likeness which wasn't good but not all bad either, when you grow up you will have many freedoms and privileges in exchange for offering desperate people an unreliable opportunity, it wasn't an honest job but at least that way you wouldn't live like he did in his childhood, without a penny to eat.
After you explained the rules, prizes and conditions began to play, you won every time and as a reward he gave you one of your favorite chocolates, a more than special prize considering how strict he was regarding your bedtime.
Until in a bad game you lost, causing a small laugh to come out of your father's mouth.
—Looks like your luck has run out —He said leaning forward and without erasing his malicious smile.
You looked at him with half-closed eyes and before you knew it he lifted you off the ground and started to make you ribs without mercy.
You yelled at him between laughs to stop but he ignored it, despite being who the salesman was, he was more than happy to share a bit of his vile reality disguised as a childish act with you.
—Now to sleep —He said seriously once again, walking up the stairs to your room without letting you go —Tomorrow you have ballet classes and violin rehearsal, if you arrive sleepy you won't be able to do it.
—¡It's not fair! —you said with a pout as he placed you on the bed.
—Ah, princess, in life nothing is fair —he murmured, leaning down to leave a fatherly kiss on your head.
He was a heartless and sadistic man who loved the life and work he led but also loved being with you, he just hoped that when you grew up you wouldn't oppose his ideals or else he would have to get rid of you.
> Park Gyeong-seok
You were daddy's princess, while he was doing his paintings in the park you were next to him blowing bubbles and talking about random topics non-stop.
He laughed occasionally at what you said and responded to you but his eyes were still on his work, it was exhausting having to take care of you and your ill sister but there was no better reward than a hug from his two daughters at the end of a long day of work.
—¡Daddy can I go see the parade! —You said excitedly, pointing to the parade of motley that was passing by and handing out candy,
He hesitated for a few seconds, he didn't want to let you go alone and although it was a family environment there were always some risks.
—Fine but take your sister —He responded with a soft smile, you jumped with excitement and ran to your little sister to take her hand and quickly go to the parade.
Na-yeon and you went through all the people stealthily until reached the front where the animal motley were passing by and handing out candy. You jumped once again to get the attention of one of them and they gave you two pieces of candy for you and your sister.
The two continued watching the parade with a smile and curiosity until you were distracted by a clown who made you a dog made of a balloon, you didn't realize how long you were talking and laughing with that man until your father suddenly arrived and picked you up from the ground.
Gyeong-seok looked at the clown distrust and scolded you for your recklessness,
—I told you to take care of your sister, you should not talk to strangers ¿And what have I told you about staying away from me too much?
The minutes he spent anxiously looking for you were torture, when he found your sister in the dressing room with the motley, he immediately noticed your absence and his poor heart almost suffered an attack, he didn't know what he would do if something happened to you or Na-yeon.
—Sorry... —You murmur with tears in your eyes as you still see traces of his previous despair.
He hugged you tightly and turned around to return to his position where he had previously left your sister, he caressed your hair and gave you a kiss on the cheek as an apology for his reaction but you couldn't blame him, you were his world and he would lose his sanity without you.
After your sister's medical situation worsened and she was admitted to the hospital, things got a little complicated, your father knew that he had to find money to pay for her treatment and he would do whatever was necessary, even if that meant having to leave his two daughters in the care of the hospital.
—I don't want to be alone —You said with a pout on your lips and your arms crossed, although more than upset you were scared of having to go through this situation alone.
—I know princess but I need your help for this ¿Can I count on you? —He left a kiss on your forehead and took your hands to join them with his.
Receiving the news that he would have to be away for a few days distressed you a little, your mother died and you didn't want to lose him too.
He didn't want to leave them either, but that man with the briefcase offered him a great opportunity and hope that he couldn't let go.
—You are my brave girl ¿right? It will only be a few days and when I return I promise that everything will be better for us —He had no other option so he said goodbye to you with a promise that, by the way, he didn't know if he would be able to keep.
> The Masked Officer (Park Hee-soon)
Your father was a firm, authoritarian and even a little insensitive man.
Quite the opposite of you, you were an energetic and colorful ray of sunshine.
Letting you accompany him to the island was not the best decision, not because you didn't know how to behave, but because you were like a whirlpool among all the employees and guards, playing and ignoring the real reason why everyone was there.
Occasionally he would find a toy lying in the hallways and his office, naturally painted black with a small lamp next to the bed, was now full of stuffed animals and other things that you had put in the suitcase before leaving the house.
—¿Did you like how I decorated the room? —You asked happily with a wide smile on your face.
He looked at you in silence while pinching the bridge of his nose regretfully, it had been a long day at work, with the frontman infiltrating the games and him in charge being a complete burden but he could handle it, what he couldn't handle was you and your hyperactivity.
—Yeah... —He growled, taking off his black suit as he walked to the bed so could sleep, he was too tired to deal with you now but as soon as his body touched the bed you jumped on top of him, completely knocking the air out of him.
—¡I'm not tired yet! ¿Can we play something? ¡I see I see! —You suggested, jumping next to him on the bed excitedly.
—¿What do you see? —He murmured tiredly but playing along until an idea came to his mind —Hey, ¿why don't you go to the third floor and go to the eleven room to play? I'm sure she would be happy to do it.
You quickly ran to where he had told you and as soon as you left the room he grabbed the radio and spoke to eleven.
—My daughter is going there, be good and play with her until she falls asleep.
It wasn't a request for a favor, it was an order and even though eleven was also tired, she had no choice but to play with you until you fell fast asleep in her bed.
Anyway, most of the guards and employees there had a little affection for you.
> Lee Myung-gi
Now, he doesn't have the slightest idea how to take care of you.
He was still young and it wasn't in his plans to become father but now here you were, in to his computer playing video games.
—It's late and you have school tomorrow —He told you with a tired sigh, he didn't know what to do to convince you to go to sleep because when you stayed up until the wee hours of the morning it was quite a challenge to deal with you.
You ignored him and continued playing, you didn't take him seriously because he was very soft on you due to the little experience he had, also your mother's abandonment was another problem to deal with.
—Come on, you must go to sleep —He insisted for the second time, approaching you shuffling his feet, he was physically and mentally exhausted.
Another problem, now he had lost all his monetary income and several people were looking for him for fraud, it was a nightmare.
—No —you said flatly, turning to show him your tongue in a rude childish gesture.
Myung-gi sighed and left you at the computer to go to his bed to sleep, however as soon as you saw him close the door you heard him curse and... ¿Sob?
You took off your headphones and gently turned to look at the bedroom door, where you could swear he was crying.
You twisted your lips and stood up, your bare feet making contact with the floor and you crept towards the bathroom to brush your teeth and comb your hair.
After doing your little routine before going to sleep, you passed by your father's room, you stopped and thought about whether it was best to go in to see how he was or go straight to bed.
He didn't have the best family bond with you, you disobeyed him and he didn't seem to care but this time it was different, you didn't know all the problems he was going through and your behavior and rejection had been the icing on the cake.
You opened the door gently and saw him lying face down on the bed with the pillow on his face, you approached and he felt your presence so he turned to see you.
It wasn't his best year, he had lost a lot of money, all kinds of people were practically hunting him for him to give them back what they lost, he accidentally got his girlfriend pregnant and left her without telling her anything, your mother left him to his fate with you and you... another unplanned daughter that made his days more difficult.
He was overwhelmed and now lay red-eyed and full of tears on the bed.
—¿Can you read me a bedtime story? —You asked cautiously, playing with your fingers.
—I'm not in the mood... —He whispered, shrinking further into the bed.
You left the room in silence, he thought you had gone to sleep or play but after a few minutes you returned with a hot chocolate that you had prepared yourself and a children's story trapped in your arms.
You gestured for him to move aside and he did, you placed the cup of chocolate on the nightstand and lay down next to him.
—Once upon a time there was a soldier in shining armor... —You started reading the story for him.
Myung-gi was going through the worst time of his life but just for tonight, with you reading him a story and giving him a hot drink he felt better, he as a father was supposed to take care of you, not the other way around, but this nice act on your part felt like a big hug to his ugly loneliness.
He fell asleep when you finished the story, you covered him with the blanket and went straight to your room to sleep, it would be a difficult path to walk but for now you had each other, had to adapt, besides, internally both had some affection for each other.
That's why when he entered the games he took a photo of you with him, the guards took it from him when they put him to sleep but it doesn't matter, you would be a great reason to get out of there alive.
> Choi Su-bong // Thanos
He used to call you "My serotonin" because you were one of the sources of his happiness, a drug that came into his life by surprise and he had no intention of leaving.
As a father he wasn't the best of all but at least he tried, he let you dye your hair whatever color you wanted despite your young age and he bought you anything you asked for.
In your eyes he was the best father in the world but to the rest of the world he was the worst and most irresponsible.
—Fuck those idiots, you had fun, ¿right? —He said, throwing the newspaper with the headline "rapper leaves his little daughter forgotten in a club in the middle of the night" to the other side of the room.
You nodded happily as you took a sip of your apple juice.
—Besides, this is also partly your fault, I told you not to get away from me —He told you, pointing a finger at you accusingly.
He looked at you carefully, your colorful hair and your poorly painted nails of the same color were what stood out the most about your outfit, you were like a smaller version of him so he must have gotten the idea that the rules were not going to work for you.
—Anyway, let's go have breakfast ¿what do you want?
—¡Hot cakes with chocolate chips! —You shouted euphorically, raising your arms, Breakfast was the best part of the day.
—¡You read my mind darling!
With a carefree attitude he walked towards the kitchen with you following him like a baby duck would follow its mother, he wasn't the best example but you were more than proud to follow him.
You and him together were a mess but were more than happy, of course, when he lost all his money it was a problem to deal with but with you things were more fun.
And to think that at first he thought of leaving you in an orphanage, now you were his greatest confidant and official leader of his fan club.
In addition to your carefree and hyperactive behavior, you also inherited him taste for art, only you didn't rhyme, you had a fascination for plays, colorful costumes and extravagant makeup.
Another point that made him proud, your clothes were always colorful and full of life, you stood out from the ordinary just as he did.
Two colorful fish in a big ocean.
Okay tell me if you liked it! I missed Dae-ho but I hope to add him in future projects like this
Thanks for reading💗! And another thing, is anyone here a fan of Lee Dong-wook?
tag list¡!

Ultraviolence
Tumblr media
"The union you had with the man you loved was more than just skin or love, it was a unique connection, an unbreakable bond like the chains that prevent ships from going away with the tide, you became addicted to the sensations that Moon-jo could transmit to you, you swore to be faithful to him until you give your last breath.... but your eyes met a person named Jong-woo. ¿What was your surprise going to be? Your boyfriend had the same interest in him as you did"
Moon-jo x Jong-woo x fem reader
◇Warnings: polyamorous relationship! verbal and physical violence, murder, toxic relationship.
In the eyes of society, you and he were an exemplary and loving couple, a nice dentist in love with a helpful police officer, walking holding hands, short and soft occasional kisses in public and romantic dates in the moonlight.
You loved the times Moon-jo would hold your hand with courtesy and chivalry every time they entered somewhere to let you pass first,
But you also loved the times Moon-jo held your hand to stab someone at the same time, such a heartless and terrifying act gave you warmth and security at his side.
You knew you were wrong, that something was wrong in your head when you thought that, you had dealt with murderers without empathy throughout career and you constantly told yourself that you were not equal to them, no, you had different reasons and motivations, Moon-jo said that what y'all did was an art and you were his muse, a girl whose inspiration was to become equal to him.
You remembered quite well, before you met him you were a good police officer, a good loyal and honest person because your only objective was to serve society, until one day you had a fight where you broke some teeth, an event that forced you to go to the dentist.
And there you saw him, a young dentist with black hair and a cute smile, you couldn't help your heart from beating faster than normal and your hands from shaking when you had him so close.
From that moment on, a small part of your psyche that you had been hiding deep in your brain came to the surface, you began to go to him dental office more than you should, you followed him every day to the point of knowing his addresses, routine and the people around him, you were a complete stalker and in the blink of an eye your whole life revolved around him, you took photos of him without him noticing, you fantasized about having him close to you and you got angry just by seeing him be nice to some flirtatious woman.
Moon-jo noticed every day how you followed him, whether in the car or walking, every photo you took of him he felt it and the curious thing was that he didn't confront you for doing it, he let you continue, he wanted to see how obsessed and crazy stalker you could become, he wanted to see if you were one more equal to him in the world or you were simply a woman with nothing else to waste your time on.
He tested you, let you watch him during his favorite pastime.
It drew you to the depths of the world and showed you what it really was, the monster that hid under the guise of a human.
Just as him imagined, you were not scared, by this point, after having observed and followed him for months without fail, you had idealized him and now you were blinded by your devotion that his "art" seemed so normal to you, something that you could easily handle if your reward was a kiss on the cheek at the end of the day.
At first he just let you watch his wonderful work, he loved the idea of having a spectator applaud his actions after each murder, then he taught you how to do it...
It certainly wasn't easy for you, you had never killed someone before and when you did you practically vomited on Moon-jo's shoes and cried like a baby, you only liked to harass day and night, not take someone's life but he insisted so much that you accepted only to receive praise, the next one wasn't so difficult and so on until killing started to be as easy for you as putting melted butter on hot bread.
He had molded you the way he wanted and despite knowing it you didn't object at all.
You shared with him your first murder, kidnapping, dinner with the peculiar meat and as a birthday gift he gave you a ring made from one of his wisdom teeth, it was wonderful and romantic for you.
However, not everything was as nice as you thought, once you helped Gi-hyeok hide a body that was not previously planned and as punishment he tied you to a chair and pulled out one of your wisdom teeth without anesthesia.
"Don't do anything again without telling me first ¿understand?" He questioned holding your bloody mouth with one hand to which you quickly nodded with tears in your eyes.
It was an unbearable pain that he put you through but you tolerated it because it would hurt more not to have him by your side.
Moon-jo leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your crimson stained lips. “I'm doing this because I don't want you to get caught ¿What am I going to do if they put you in prison? Before you do anything reckless or drastic, call me"
You believed everything he told you and from that day on you never broke any rule again, well, you didn't let him find out again, you continued helping your friends in Eden, especially Gi-hyeok, you liked him although deep down you knew that if Moon-jo found out it would be the end of you.
Your position as a police officer was really helpful, that way you diverted certain clues and knew perfectly how your unit worked, you and him had many advantages.
But of course, sometimes there were small details.
—A friend of mine called me, he says he has been kidnapped and is in danger—said your partner, standing next to you with a distressed look —Come on, you know that residence and you would be of great help.
—¿What residence? —You asked, taking a big sip of your coffee, mentally hoping it wasn't the one you think.
But when the name "Eden" came out of him mouth, annoyance began to well up inside you.
—Go to the patrol, in a few seconds I'll go with you —You said, you let him leave the police station and went to the bathroom where you locked yourself to make a call to Gi-hyeok and alert him or else everything would come to light in society.
Sometimes you considered the man a real idiot, however, you couldn't stop helping him because if he fell, all of you would too. After calling him, you left the police station and got into the passenger seat of the patrol car.
You already knew what you had to do, unfortunately this was not the first time something like this happened but it was the first time that one of your fellow police officers got involved, that was another inconvenience and you considered calling Moon-jo but that would bring more problems for everyone involved, besides, you definitely wanted to keep your teeth and above all your life.
You let your partner ask the questions and inspect the place, you also looked around every corner to make sure there was nothing suspicious and Mrs. Eom gave you a fleeting glance from time to time.
You knew that they could also help you with this situation but you preferred to do it yourself, after collecting the little information could, your partner and you said goodbye and got ready to leave but as you went down the stairs you saw someone approaching the building, the new resident.
Your eyes looked at him carefully from the first moment, as soon as you saw his face you could see that expression that was reflected by all those people who still did not have their place in the world, serenity but at the same time always alert.
As you passed by him, the aroma of his cologne filled your nose while could also feel his gaze on you, something that made you smile unconsciously.
You were going to continue walking towards the truck in which you and your partner arrived, you would continue with your plan without obstacles but the presence of this man attracted you like a magnet to metal, or rather, like a moth to the radiant and warm light among the darkness of the night.
Then you turned around and spoke, stopping him instantly.
—Hey… ¿do you live here? —You asked cautiously under him curious gaze.
—Yeah… well, it hasn't been long but yes.
The sweet notes of his voice were intoxicating to your ears, one more reason to want to hear him speak, murmur, moan or scream…
—¿Have you seen this man? —Your partner returned to your side and showed him the photograph of the missing tenant and you showed him the police badge when noticed his confusion.
While your partner asked him the routine questions, you just kept your eyes on him in complete silence to the point where the poor guy began to get nervous and uncomfortable, you were fascinated by awakening those sensations in him, no matter how insignificant were under the circumstances.
He felt your gaze as if you were trying to see through his soul, a conclusion that was not very wrong, you could see that he was a person on the verge of a collapse, as if he only needed a push to reach the mental descent from which he could never recover.
You immediately thought of Moon-jo, you knew that he would be delighted to be the one to give that push to your new obsession, he would love to break, collect, repair and mold this man to his will just as he did with you but you didn't want that to happen.
No...
You wanted to take him, fix him and put him in a glass display case to observe forever, as he it were a treasure that you were willing to obtain and keep, avoiding at all costs for it to become dirty with the darkness of your world, ¿Why? The answer was simple, sometimes you felt like you were drowning next to Moon-jo and maybe… just maybe this man in front of you who occasionally looked at you with embarrassment could be your lifesaver.
While Moon-jo would motivate and push him into the darkness, you were willing to break windows to let the light in.
You would kill and die for him and for Moon-jo.
—Well, if you see anything suspicious you can call me... —You said, taking a card with your number out of your pocket and handing it to him while you paused waiting for him to say his name.
—Jong-woo —He introduced himself and took your card.
For a few brief seconds his fingers brushed yours and you immediately pushed them away, not because you didn't crave his touch, no, you did it as if you were afraid of contaminating him with the blood that has stained your skin several times before.
He noticed this gesture and found it strange, curious, and almost came to the wrong conclusion but instead of saying something drastic he simply looked at you in silence.
—Have a nice night Jong-woo —You said a smile forming on your lips, a smile that he found a little creepy but he still wanted to see again sometime.
You and your partner said goodbye to him and returned to the car where you knew that Gi-Hyeok was already waiting, you vaguely told your partner not to get involved but he seemed so determined to do so that had no choice but to kill him, your friend took charge of suffocating him with the car's seat belt and you stabbed him repeatedly until his blood splashed on your face and the interior of the vehicle, after finishing him, you fell back on your seat, gasping for breath from the effort and felt the adrenaline diminishing from your body, but once again your heart beat like a rabbit when you saw Moon-jo walking calmly and confidently towards the car in the rearview mirror.
—Moon-jo comes here —You said with a sigh while adjusted your disheveled hair, you knew that he was not very tolerable to a fault like this, doing things without telling him beforehand was like condemning yourself with him, so you did not even move from your seat when you heard him kill Gi-Hyeok, suffocating him with his own hands until the life reflected in his eyes went out, then, you felt him move to the other side of the car where you were.
—Hi love —He said with a deep and serious voice, leaving you in suspense of what he would do with you as punishment.
You turned your head a little to look at him but as soon as you did he grabbed your hair and slammed your face against the dashboard of the car causing to gasp in pain.
—He was a failure ¿but you? I thought you were smarter than this —He said with a low and soft voice, a great contrast to the emotions that were reflected in his eyes.
—It won't happen again —You said, passing your tongue over your lips, tasting the blood that flowed through the cut he had made when hitting you like this.
Moon-jo could have killed you at that moment and asked the others to get rid of the three corpses and the vehicle but he didn't, he wouldn't throw away his creation that easily and a part of him deep down appreciated you a little.
So he let go of your hair and walked away, told you to clean up the mess and walked away, leaving you with a warning.
You wouldn't lie, you loved each and every sensation he could make you feel, fear, passion, terror, love, no matter how bad were you always came back for more.
You smiled and cleaned the outside of the car a little where there were drops of blood that had run off, you moved both corpses back and sat in the driver's seat, you turned it on, turned on music and started down the steep hill.
As you drove down the hill you looked in the rearview mirror where saw the Eden residence, you saw Moon-jo and Jong-woo together on the roof sharing a chat, then you smiled and wiped the lipstick and blood that stained your lips with your thumb.
You knew you weren't going to be the only one interested in that guy, anyway, you knew how to share.
Sorry, I'm watching the series and I definitely had to write something about him

Could you do the squid game characters x reader who likes to eat weird food combos?
I keep getting judged for my food choices 😔🤘
I understand you, HAHAHA I also tend to eat strange things sometimes
Squid game characters reaction to strange food
Tumblr media
Your palate is very versatile and there are some people who may or may not like it.
We return to the requests!! Thank you for your wait and sorry for the delay ♡ I haven't reviewed this yet so sorry for any spelling mistakes :D and tell me if you would like me to add any character to my list
In-ho
Due to him job he rarely eats at his respective times so you are in charge of bringing him food and making sure he doesn't starve.
He appreciates what you do, he means it, he appreciates knowing that there is someone who cares about him even in the smallest thing like food, but every time he sees you enter his office with a covered silver tray he feels like his soul leaves his body for a few moments.
But seeing you smile silences any complaints he has, the food you make him knows that you make it with love and effort but damn, ¿hot cakes with bacon on top?
"¡Taraa!" You said proudly, putting the tray in front of him after having uncovered it and revealing your peculiar food combo "¡You have to try it! It looks weird but feels like a party in your mouth!"
The emotion in your voice silenced him for the second time, with a tight smile he took the cutlery and took a piece of the soft hot cake and joined it with the fried bacon, he brought it to his mouth under your watchful gaze and took a bite, he admitted it, sometimes he threw away your food but this combination definitely looked more decent than the previous ones.
And to him surprise it didn't taste bad.
"Mmmhh, it's delicious" He admitted eating his breakfast more enthusiastically, salty and sweet would be his favorite combination.
Jun-ho
The work day was quieter than usual, so you and Jun-ho had free time to talk and relax in the seats of the patrol car, being a traffic officer was boring sometimes.
But fortunately for you and unfortunately for him, you always had your favorite snack with you.
“Fries with honey” he sighed as he leaned back against his seat, watching as you pulled the bag of fries and a jar of honey out of your backpack.
"If you gave them a chance you'd see how good it tastes" you said flashing your tongue at him in a childish and playful manner to which he just laughed as he took the bag of chips from you and took a handful to eat.
"No thanks, the last time I listened to you I was in the bathroom for three hours."
You laughed out loud at his comment, he was right, you made him eat pizza with honey and his poor stomach suffered all day, maybe he didn't have the same resistance as you but you still enjoyed forcing him to eat sometimes just to make his body uncomfortable, that way Jun-ho would have fun and embarrassing anecdotes to tell.
The Salesman
"I finished my round for this day, it's your turn" Exclaimed the elegant and well-groomed man, standing next to you to hand you the briefcase, but a clear expression of disgust formed when he saw the food you had in your hands "¿What are you eating?"
You swallowed the bite in your mouth and excitedly showed him your peanut butter and pickle sandwich.
"My lunch, ¿do you want some?" You asked getting up from the park bench you were on and bringing your food closer to him face, a gesture that was out of pure kindness, he saw it as a threat to his person.
"Take that abomination away from me" He demanded with an expression of disgust and taking a step back using the briefcase as a shield "And look how dirty you got, go to the bathroom and get ready, we must have an impeccable appearance"
You looked at the candy stain on your jacket and twisted your lips when you saw that effort for your appearance had been of no use, as recruits they had a dress code.
"Hold this for me" you said and before he could complain you handed him your sandwich and walked to the nearest public women's bathroom.
This combination continued to seem strange to him and he held it away from him as if it were some toxic food, but after a few seconds his curiosity got the better and he took a bite of your lunch, when you returned, you surprised him eating and you smiled triumphantly, from that day on, you always brought an extra sandwich for him.
Gi-hun
For him, the food you brought him was horrible, he could barely swallow it or hold it in his mouth, so every time you brought him a snack he would throw it in the trash without you noticing.
Until one day he came home disappointed at not having found the salesman and found you standing in the middle of the living room with your arms crossed and a look of annoyance on your face.
Out of inertia he tried to back out and close the door, you didn't get angry often but seeing you do it meant risk and he definitely had in mind the reason for your displeasure, he had forgotten to take out the garbage bag this morning and if you took it out you probably found all the food you had made during the last three days.
"Don't even think about leaving" you threatened him with just your voice, forcing him to stay completely still "If you didn't like my food, you could have told me"
Now your voice didn't sound angry but yes hurt and disappointed, Gi-hun felt terrible and went to you to explain "I appreciate what you do for me, ¿but should I really eat pizza with applesauce on top?"
"You don't appreciate the art of cooking" you said dramatically, putting a hand to your chest "If you don't try it, you won't know if you like it"
He knew you were right, but damn, eating that was a sensation quite comparable to when he was in those games, however, as long as he saw you happy he agreed to try one of your peculiar combinations in front of you so that you would be sure that he tried it, he didn't like it but making him try new dishes was a success for you, now you just had to know which combination would be his favorite.
Gyeong-seok
This man is used to seeing and trying strange food, his daughter sometimes made him eat combinations without being entirely willing to do so, so he didn't complain when you put a spicy French fry with cream cheese in his mouth.
"Mmmhh, it's delicious, you always surprise me" he said, showing you a smile with his mouth closed while he chewed your strange combination.
"¡I knew you'd like it!" You said enthusiastically, taking another chip with cheese and bringing it to him mouth, he was busy painting another simple but beautiful canvas to sell his hands were full of paint stains so he was grateful that you were there to feed him with your peculiar snacks.
He admitted it, there were times when your food mixes didn't taste that good but he was too kind and cute to let you know, he'd rather stay in the bathroom for an hour with a stomach ache than hurt your feelings and never try these snacks again.
He opened his mouth waiting for another of your delicious snacks and you gladly did so, he enjoyed trying each new dish you invented so almost every day you appeared with a new mixture, he tried it and gave you his opinion which was mostly positive, anyway even if he didn't like it he wouldn't tell you unless really is an abomination to the culinary system, in which case he would be the kindest and gentlest with his words.
Dae-ho
¿Were your culinary tastes strange? Him are worse.
He needs to have something in his mouth every time he is stressed or nervous, he bites his nails, the collar of his shirt or in these cases snacks that you carry with you in the pocket.
At first you felt confident when you saw that he also had an exotic palate, but when you saw him eating avocado with cold coffee you rethought all the decisions you had made when it came to satisfying your cravings and hunger.
"¿Are you seriously going to eat that?" You asked him entering the kitchen where he was already drinking his morning coffee.
"Yeah, it tastes good," he assured with a funny smile when he saw your expression. "You can't judge me, you eat scrambled eggs with gelatin."
You laughed softly because you knew he was right, you approached him and he offered you to try his exotic drink, what a surprise you were when you tried it and admitted that it exceeded your expectations "Weird but good" you said taking another sip of coffee.
Dae-ho drew a triumphant expression on his face and offered to make you your own coffee. It was nice to have someone to share your culinary concoctions with.
Hyun-ju
She was curious to see you eating your chocolate chip cookies and ¿ham? with so much joy. You felt her gaze and believing that she was judging you, you returned a look with a frown.
She quickly realized the confusion so spoke up to apologize "oh no no no, I wasn't looking bad at you just… ¿What are you eating?"
"I have no idea" You admitted downplaying it as she sat next to you without taking your eyes off your snack. "¿Do you want to try?"
Hyun-ju nodded and you handed she a cookie wrapped in ham, hesitant but with curiosity on the surface she brought this small snack to his mouth and tried it.
She really tried hard not to spit out the food, ¿how could you eat it? However, she knew what it was like to feel judged, so with a lot of effort, swallowing the bite in his mouth and smiling at you.
"¿Do you like?" You asked excitedly but she just shook her head with a tight smile on her lips.
"No" she continued to keep a smile so as not to make you feel bad and it worked, not everyone will share these culinary tastes with you but you appreciated that there were those who gave you a chance without judging you.
Jun-hee
She wouldn't tell you anything about your meals, ask you to share them, or comment on how repulsive can sometimes seem.
But when her are pregnant you will have to get used to her taking away your snacks prepared in the kitchen, while you were preparing some Oreo cookies with peanut butter on top you barely turned around to take your glass of yogurt and when you saw there was nothing on the table.
Now next to you was Jun-hee eating your dessert with a happy smile.
"I thought you didn't like it" You said with a hand on your hip looking at her accusingly for taking away your snack.
"It's not as bad as I thought," her admitted, shrugging his shoulders casually and reaching out to take the entire package of cookies and jar of peanut butter from you.
You saw her walking back to the living room with your lunch and you gave up, but internally you smiled evilly when saw that you were finally going to share your creative food ideas with someone, you should take advantage while she was pregnant.
Myung-gi
For him it was already customary to see you eat anything edible that you found on your way, from pickles with chocolate and ham to spicy stuffed cheese,
He didn't say anything to you except certain expressions of disgust when he saw you eating those combinations, you weren't stupid, you noticed each and every time he looked at you as if he were going to vomit and instead of getting angry he made you laugh.
Every time you had the chance you made fun of him and teased him by threatening to force him to eat one of your lunches like now.
"¡Get off me!" He demanded, placing both hands to prevent you from putting whatever you had in your hands in his mouth.
"¡Oh come on! ¡Just one bite!" you said between laughs and without stopping
You weren't actually going to force him to eat this, you just wanted to scare and annoy him a little for fun, the only way to stop was for him to accept and then there would be no need for him to really try it, you just wanted to prove to him that shouldn't always reject the invitation to new experiences.
You held a piece of sausage with strawberry jam centimeters from his face while he grimaced in pain and anguish as if he were being subjected to the worst punishment in the world.
"Dramatic" you said getting up from the bed where you were fighting with him as you put the food in your mouth but before could eat it he hit your hand causing the lunch to fly "¡Hey!"
"Don't eat that, let's go, I'll take you to eat something decent." Myung-gi took your hand and dragged you out of the apartment to buy you an ice cream or a regular sandwich, maybe you should bother him more often if that was going to be your reward.
Choi Su-bong // Thanos
He didn't judge you at all, quite the opposite, he was even willing to try some strange foods you made, of course, some of the times he had to be high to be able to pass it down his throat.
"Look, spaghetti with melted chocolate on top" He told you, showing you a photograph of said food that he had found on his cell phone.
You grimaced when you saw such a thing, maybe it tasted better than it looked but still just seeing such a photograph made your stomach clench.
"I like to mix flavors but this is extreme" You said letting out a sigh and walking towards the couch, Thanos seemed offended by your comment, he wanted to help you try new things, adapt to your palate, but you weren't cooperating at all.
"¿What? I thought this would be like a five-star meal for you" he said dramatically.
Some might say he was joking but you knew him well enough to know that wasn't the case, he truly believed that you would be able to eat even the strangest food but you had certain limits.
Still, you appreciated the attempts he made to keep a smile on your face and make you feel comfortable in his company.
And poor soul of the one who dares to look at you with disgust while you were eating next to him on the street.

My boy only breaks and repairs
Tumblr media
Summary: When he found you, you were drowning in debt and sadness, he took your heart and made sure to put it together piece by piece until one day… that same man breaks it once again
Warning: age difference, not much, death, I wanted to write something sad, sorry, I was listening to the night we met while doing this.
Hwang In-ho x fem reader Sang-Woo's daughter
He promised you to come back, that he would not do anything reckless, but he never did, you knew that your father loved you despite the hard life he led, you knew that despite his firm and indifferent attitude he cared about you.
That's why your heart broke into pieces when a small black box with a pink ribbon appeared at your door that August morning. It was a bitter presentation for what that box contained, inside were your father's broken glasses, the glass was smashed and one of its supports was broken in half.
It was easy for you to deduce that something bad had happened to him, that he would probably never come back.
You were right.
That morning you collapsed hugging the broken glasses to your chest, trying to hold on to a vague memory where you were still happy with him, when you were still four years old and he carried you on his shoulders while you ate ice cream.
Your world fell apart that day, your grandmother couldn't talk to you again because you couldn't look her in the face knowing that her son was dead and not being able to tell her just so she wouldn't go through the same pain as you.
Despite your deep pain, the same people who followed Sang-Woo so that he would pay them what he owed them did not stop, they followed you for weeks so that you would pay, they did not believe you when you told them that he was dead, they thought that you were helping him hide, so all their threats and warnings fell on you.
A year later you were just as desperate as your father, his debts accumulated and your life was in danger, you were going to give up, you wanted to end the suffering you were going through so without having a completely clear mind you stood on the edge of a bridge in the middle of the night.
But just when you wanted to push yourself forward someone came from behind you and pulled your hand to the opposite side, making you fall onto the cold and wet pavement.
You quickly stood up, believing it was one of those thugs following you, but as soon as you looked up you saw a man completely unknown to you.
But you were not a stranger to him.
After the games in which player 456 was the winner, In-ho was curious about player 218, the most intelligent and cunning man he had seen in years. ¿How was it possible that when he was about to win, he decided to redeem himself?
he thought him was stupid.
But after having done extensive research on him, he came to the conclusion that he was not stupid, he was just a poor man desperate to survive but also motivated by his daughter who was waiting for him at home, Sang-Woo knew that if you found out the horrible way in which he obtained money, betraying and killing his friends and innocent people, you would never forgive him ¿What kind of example was he going to give you? That's why in his last breath he asked Gi-hun to take care of you, unfortunately the winner was also too traumatized and hurt to keep that specific promise.
So In-ho decided take the promise, something he had never done, he investigated you and reached out to you, he believed that giving you a memory of your father would be enough to calm your anguish, that's why he left you the glasses, but seeing that this caused your descent into sadness even more he decided to take a more drastic measure.
—¿Who are you? —You asked, looking at him carefully, he could see the mix of emotions you were experiencing through your tired eyes.
—I met your father
In-ho took a step closer to you and extended his hand, waiting for you to take it.
It was a small gesture but significant, no one had given you a hand to help you stand up in a long time, you hesitantly accepted the gesture and took his hand to get up but as soon as you did the tears escaped your eyes and that was when In-ho realized how broken you were.
You realized what you were about to do, the weight of your own actions fell on your shoulders and you realized how much your father missed you.
—I miss him a lot... —You murmured through tears as this man held you in his arms.
In-ho's heart squeezed in his chest when he saw you like that, it was strange, he barely knew you but inevitably the memories of his own pain after the death of his wife settled in his mind, he knew that feeling that the world was falling apart, as if millions of blades were stuck in his body every day, each memory and the impotence of not being able to do anything to end that feeling.
He didn't say anything, he knew you didn't want to hear encouraging words, you just wanted comfort and a shoulder to cry on, he connected with you through that pain, he silently hugged you and let you vent until you were tired of crying.
He told you his name, he gave you comfort, security and help, you were in a vulnerable moment and somehow that felt like the greatest gift anyone could give you.
He gained your trust and when you least realized it, you already loved this man who could be the same age as your father.
In-ho knew that seeing you in the city was dangerous, his brother knew who he was and what he did, if he found him it would be the end of an entire empire, so he asked you to accompany him to the island.
You hesitated a little but you finally accepted, you had nothing to lose and you definitely didn't want to be alone again, you hated the simple idea, your brain and all your instincts told you to oppose that request but your heart made the affirmative decision, you accompanied him.
You didn't know what he did, In-ho made sure to keep that part of his life a secret and told you that his job was a small organization that raised money funds to donate to those in need, what a bullshit lie.
Soon you began to smile more often, an expression on your face that you thought was dead, for In-ho your smile became a small ray of light that illuminated his dark life.
One day like any other you entered him office with a radiant smile and a yellow spring dress decorating your body.
—Well… ¿What do you think? —You asked, spinning on your heels in front of him, letting the bottom of your outfit rise a little in the air.
—You look beautiful —He admitted, looking away from the paperwork that filled his desk, documents about upcoming games but that you ignored —Yellow is your color.
You smiled happily at him and walked towards his desk, cautiously he hid some papers under others and let you hug him from behind as you usually did, your arms were warm and this way he could smell your wonderful perfume.
—¿Why can't you come with me? —You asked, leaving a kiss on his neck and hugging him closer to you, as if you never wanted to let him go and it was partly true, you clung to him as if he were your support for this life.
—I have a lot of work but I promise to go next time.
It was your father's birthday and you wanted to go visit him at the cemetery, although you put an empty box it was a way to honor and remember him, In-ho was the one who motivated you to do this because it also gave you a certain peace knowing that wherever your father was were sure that he knew how much you missed him.
—I'll be back in a few hours —You responded by leaving a warm kiss on him cheek.
Even though In-ho wanted to send some guards to take care of you, he knew that would be a risk, you could ask and discover the whole truth and that was the last thing he wanted, he believed that keeping you in ignorance was the best to protect your hurting heart.
You took a boat to leave the island and when you reached the mainland millions of memories hit your mind like a huge wave during a storm, you needed In-ho by your side but you recognized that you couldn't depend on him at all times, you also had to learn to manage these complex emotions that still threatened to sink you.
You bought a couple of flowers and headed to the cemetery where a tombstone was waiting for you on top of an empty place, deep down that still tormented your soul, not being able to find him to give him a dignified burial, not being able to hug him one last time or see him to say goodbye in person.
When you arrived at the sacred place you gave him a small bow and sat down in front of him.
—Hey… Sorry I didn't come earlier… —You said seeing the name "Cho Sang-Woo" written in stone —I just wasn't ready to come yet… Now I'm fine, I'm trying to move forward… In-ho, a friend of yours arrived at the moment when I needed someone the most, as if you had sent him.
A small smile appeared on your lips at that idea, a completely wrong idea of what reality was.
—Happy Birthday… —You murmured with teary eyes, leaving the flowers on the tombstone, you sat there for a few more minutes talking to him to relieve your heart, somehow you managed to feel accompanied but you also constantly wondered what happened to him.
You said goodbye to him and walked through the cemetery until you reached the columbarium where the memorial of In-ho's previous wife was, he told you about her, he showed you that side of his life that had suffered a great loss just like you.
You respectfully approached the space where her name was carved in stone and you also left her a white flower that you had bought specifically for her, you didn't know why In-ho hadn't visited her in years, he told you himself and you didn't ask because you thought it was a wound that hadn't completely healed yet, however, the real reason was more than just pain.
Suddenly a male voice made you jump a little in your place.
—Excuse me… ¿Are you familiar? —When you turned your head you found a young man with straight black hair who looked at you curiously.
—Ohh no... I just... I heard about her —you explained with a soft smile, stepping aside to see him better and allow him to approach the niche —¿Did you know her?
—She was my brother's wife.
Him response caught you off guard, In-ho hadn't told you about any brother but you didn't question either, instead you smiled kindly and greeted him with a small polite bow.
—¡Oh! You are In-ho's brother —You said after introducing yourself with your name and ends with "In-ho and me are close"
Jun-ho looked at you with surprise, as if naming him had made some 'click' in his head, his silent gaze intimidated you so you bowed a little again to say goodbye and leave there but before you could take any steps him hand on your arm stopped you, making you even more tense.
—You should stay away from him, it's not safe for you.
—¿What? ¿Why?
—¿Do you know where he is now? ¿Where do you know him from? —The questions he asked you mixed with the firm grip on your arm raised some kind of alert so you pushed him to let go.
You didn't know him, you didn't know why he said that to you and you didn't trust him, so you left there walking as fast as could but behind you heard a "Stay away from him"
While you returned to the island on the boat you laughed internally at that strange encounter but as the minutes passed and you analyzed him words better in your head, doubt settled in your body, you trusted In-ho, you believed all the things he told you so blindly that you were sure that your father would be disappointed, he taught you to be intelligent and not let yourself be guided by anyone who speaks to you with nice words.
You never investigated him supposed organization further and you hadn't realized until now how much security he had on the island for it to just be a charity.
It was strange, even the time he saved you on that bridge, ¿how did he arrive just in time? It was almost one in the morning and few cars were passing through that area ¿Was he following you? he said he knew your father ¿how come he didn't even know your last name?
Your mind began to turn and turn the situation, your stomach turned and once again that feeling of anguish that had not been in you after a long time was present, meanwhile In-ho took advantage of the time you were gone to organize the next games quickly and safely, with you on the island it was difficult to do it without you discovering it but one of the many advantages it had was that you rarely questioned what they were really doing there.
Maybe it was because for you he was a hero, a ray of hope that came to take you out of your misery and without realizing it «or maybe he was too coward to admit it out loud» he took advantage of that to have you right where he wanted, like a good girl who didn't ask dangerous questions, you stayed right where he allowed you and went out whenever he wanted you to.
It was incredibly easy how could take a person drowning in their suffering and mold them into own world.
But now that you had doubts you weren't going to stay still, thanks to Jun-ho you would now start questioning everything he did.
Something that started to be a problem.
Until one day you finally discovered it, you woke up in the middle of the night and walked in silence to him office where you found a folder full of photographs and data of people who were just as drowned in debt as Sang-Woo was, but you did not stop there in your investigation, it was night, him guards in pink overalls that at some point you saw as security you now saw as hunters from whom you had to hide, cautiously, you moved through all the corridors until you reach a floor with golden and gray tones.
You walked in silence through each of the rooms and inspected every thing and compartment there without knowing that In-ho had already woken up when he did not feel your presence by his side.
You watched without stopping and the further you advanced your heart squeezed in your chest, this was not a charity, it was a slaughterhouse.
And the worst of all was that the man you trusted, the man you slept with, kissed and touched with love was the one who pulled the strings in this place.
You arrived at a dark room full of documents perfectly arranged by year and number on shelves, each sheet contained data about the previous people who arrived on this island and they were forced to play children's games with the promise that if they got out of there alive they would win a lot of money.
Your hands were shaking and you could practically feel your heartbeat in your throat.
Until you reached the section about the year your father disappeared, your heart stopped for a fraction of a second and your hands could barely hold the page you were reading in silence.
"Cho Sang-Woo, player 218, removed"
A painful moan escaped your throat as you looked at the photo of your father along with his information with eyes full of tears, you tried to remain silent and to drown your tears you bit your hand until felt the characteristic metallic taste on your tongue.
Your body shook and your breathing began to fail, you were scared, disappointed, overwhelmed and angry, In-ho had lied to you, he knew perfectly well what happened to your father and he pretended to be another friend in your life.
Once again your heart broke into millions of pieces.
In-ho had become vital in your life, you didn't know whether to hate him or love him, he hugged you every night when you woke up crying because of the pain of loss, he motivated you to get up and not let the suffering consume you, he even opened up to you and told you about his deceased wife.
You wanted to scream but instead you just stayed on the ground, biting your hand to suppress your cry, with your body shaking and breathing failing, you felt like you had been stabbed in the back.
You didn't even notice when In-ho walked up behind you with a loaded gun in him hand and a mental battle in his head.
You thought you knew him but in reality you had no idea what he was capable of doing.

Little Cheater
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: You are twelve years old and you accompany your father to work, there was no one who could take care of you so he had no other option, there you meet a new friend.
Warning: Nothing, just something outside the series to focus on this wonderful man with purple hair, also, there will be some non-canon things.
Based on this request!
Choi Su-bong (Thanos) x little friend
Your eyes continued to watch with curiosity and interest the huge screen in front of you that showed a bunch of people dressed in the same uniform playing "green light, red light."
—¿Why can't I play with them? —You asked, pointing at the screen while your father put on a black hood and the mask with the square figure depicted in the center.
—They are not children's games —He responded without much encouragement while putting his gun in his pants pockets.
—That's just what it is ¡You see! —You said with irony, getting up from the bed you were sitting on —¿Can I go play?
Your father snorted under the mask, seeing you with the arms crossed. ¿Why did he bring you here to begin with? Your mother was probably hooking up with some other idiot and he hadn't been able to get a babysitter in a matter of hours, you shouldn't be here and yet you were standing in front of him demanding that he let you into those games.
—No, Stay here, I'll be back in a couple of hours.
It was him last thing he said before leaving the room but you were disobedient, you were definitely not going to stay there watching adults having fun playing while you were sitting on that bed.
So you sneaked out of the room and walked without stopping until you managed to find a door guarded by two pink guards with the triangle symbol emblazoned on their respective masks.
—¿Can I come in and play? —You asked with a wide smile showing your white teeth.
That gesture always worked to get the adults to do what you wanted but these guards remained silent without moving an inch.
You sighed and took a wad of bills from your dress pocket, money you had secretly taken from your father's wallet.
—¿Can I come in?
Once again the guards remained silent for a few seconds until one of them took the money and opened the door for you. "Walk until you reach a blue metal door, ask the guard to let you in" He told you seriously. You nodded and walked even further into the facilities until you reached said door where they finally allowed you to enter.
Inside there were many beds and the players were scattered talking or simply sitting without much encouragement, you didn't understand why but you didn't care and you walked among them, you walked until one of them caught your attention a guy with purple hair who seemed to be rapping sitting on a ladder with another player next to him.
You walked towards him and put on your best smile.
—Hi... —You greeted quietly but keeping your smile, you were curious and quite intelligent but when it came to socializing with others you were very shy and that was because your schoolmates picked on you.
—Hey... —Thanos looked up at you with a curious look —¿What are you doing here? ¿Did they bring you here too? ¿What kind of debts could a girl your age have?
—I have no debts —You said walking towards him softly while you also looked at him with curiosity —¡I like your hair!
Thanos nodded and continued making movements with his hands while he continued rapping under your attentive gaze. He believed that you would leave if he didn't pay attention to you, but when he saw you fascinated with his verses, he had greater motivation, considering you his small audience.
You laughed with some rhymes until another black-haired player with the number 124 approached you.
—¿What are you doing here girl? —He crouched down to be at your eye level with a mocking smile —¿Aren't you afraid of being here?
You stepped back, seeing him judging.
—¿How old are you? ¿eight? —Again he mocked, taking a step forward to intimidate you.
—¡I have twelve!
He laughed at your response and was going to make another mocking comment but before he could do so, Thanos snapped his fingers, drawing both of attention.
—It's not cool at all to bully a twelve year old girl —He said, motioning for you to sit next to him, to which you quickly went with him —Señorita, don't let this moron scare you, he's just as nervous as everyone here, ¿Right Nam Su?
—It's Nam Gyu —He corrected him making a nervous movement with his hands.
—It's the same —Thanos continued playing with his verses while you listened to him.
You also tried to rhyme a few times but when you couldn't, he laughed at your failed attempts.
—¿How do you do it? ¿Will you teach me? —You asked frustrated after several failed attempts.
—This is an art, little lady, and don't learn it, are born with it —He says, puffing out his chest with pride and moving his hands in front of your face in an exaggerated way, making you laugh again
—¡You're funny!
He smiled at you genuinely, everyone say that all children tell the truth and if you managed to empathize with him in just one hour that means that he is a great man and that fueled his pride.
—¿Do you want to play with me? —You asked with a shy smile as you played with the fingers of your hands.
—¿Play? —He asked curiously, the drugs had diminished considerably from his system so he was already calmer sitting next to you
—¡Yeah! My dad gave me this so I don't get bored, I play solitary but now you can play with me —You said excitedly, taking out a game of cards from the pocket of your dress.
Thanos nodded and settled in his place to be in front of you, his mind still did not fully understand how a girl your age was here, you were not wearing a uniform and you looked so calm that he doubted that you really knew what was happened in this place.
Still he kept his mouth shut and started playing with you after dealt the cards, you was adorable and very friendly, in a way you reminded him of himself as a child.
As time went by you were winning in each round, he was surprised.
—¿How do you know how to play this so well? You're barely twelve —He asked with a frown while scratching his head in frustration for not having won a single round.
—Dad taught me once —You were intelligent and you memorized things quickly, that's why you also knew many things about this place even if your innocence proved otherwise.
He continued playing against you, he was not going to give up until he won a game and that led him to complain and accuse you of being a cheater after each round lost due to a large difference in points, causing you to only laugh.
Lunch time was announced and Thanos went to pick up his food along with his team, leaving you on the stairs while you put away your cards with the intention of continuing to play later, however a guard approached you.
—Your father wants you to leave immediately and return to the room —Said the stranger sternly.
—But I don't want to go yet.
—I don't think you have a choice.
You pouted and looked towards Thanos and the guard randomly forming a plan in your little head.
After a couple of seconds you smiled innocently and ran to where your purple-haired friend was, you knew there would be consequences when you returned to your father but for now you wanted to continue in this place, it was the first time you made a friend and you didn't were ready to leave him so soon.
The guard was going to follow you, he had clear instructions and if he let you go the punishment would probably be for him but as soon as he took a few steps the boss's voice sounded in his earpiece.
"Leave her" Your father said in an authoritative voice and giving the order to the guard to leave, he was not happy to leave you there and even less so with that specific player but he did not want to make you unhappy either, he saw you laughing and talking to someone unknown, someone other than him and your mother and that was somehow encouraging, if player 230 could help you socialize more maybe he could overlook this lack.
Although he himself would also put his authority at risk with the frontman
—Hey, ¿What happens? —Thanos asked when you suddenly arrived and hugged him around the waist while pressing your right cheek to his stomach.
—Nothing, I just like you —You said with a triumphant smile as you watched the guard leave.
He brushed it off and kept you by his side during the line despite Nam Gyu's protests, Se mi and Min Su also liked you but you were more attached to Thanos.
As night fell... He was barely settling into his respective bed when he saw you sitting on the side and leaning against the wall.
—¿Aren't you going to sleep?
—I'm afraid to sleep up there alone —You admitted looking towards the bunk beds where there was an empty bed on top that had been left for you.
He wasn't going to allow you to spend the night on the floor, you weren't going to sleep well and seeing you nod off from exhaustion he deduced that you were also more asleep than awake.
He got out of bed and went to you to carefully pick you up and place you in him bed where you quickly fell asleep, Thanos covered you with the blanket and placed the pillow under your head.
A small laugh caught him attention and he looked up to find Se mi with a hand on his mouth to muffle his laughter, watching him with a tender look.
—Looks like you made a friend —She said smiling, caressing your hair.
He smiled softly, she was right, you were his friend but he wasn't going to say it out loud so he answered the following.
—She is the leader of my fan's club, I have to be good to her —He made sure you were comfortable and sat on the floor next to you, it would be a long night for him without a bed but he put your comfort first.
Anyway... you would tell him what the next games were going to be at dawn, you were going to cheat but it was inevitable, you grew fond of that fun guy.
And without realizing it, that affection he got from you could be a possibility to get out of that place alive.

Escape To The Bathroom
Tumblr media
Summary: You love adrenaline, you are shameless and you are not interested in anyone but yourself or sometimes your brother, however... a certain guy can make you bend your legs with just one look.
Warning: Slight smut, drugs and inappropriate language.
Lee Myung gi x fem reader
Your eyes were filled with amusement even though your lip was split and you could taste your own blood in your mouth.
—Rawrr... the old man knows how to have fun —You said, standing up without taking your eyes off of player 001 who had intervened in the small fight that your brother, his friend and you had created against 333.
Thanos and Nam gyu turned away tired and in pain after the beating he had given them but you continued to keep a smile on your lips despite the slight body pain you felt.
You turned to Myung gi and blew him a kiss before returning to your group.
—He's an idiot —Your brother Nam gyu complained as he sat on the edge of his bed.
—So do us —You responded, sitting next to him —Mom would be embarrassed if she knew we fought at lunch.
He grumbled at your words knowing you were making fun of him.
While you were sitting with your group your eyes were still fixed on Myung gi, you couldn't deny it, the idiot was handsome, since you saw him in his YouTube videos you considered him a potential crush but after having left you in ruin for that investment you reconsidered your thoughts, you wanted to hit him but you also longed to feel his lips on yours.
He felt your gaze and directed his eyes towards you, his look was irritated but also curious, ¿why did you see him so much? It was uncomfortable to a certain extent and you noticed this so you formed a teasing smile on your face.
Your eyes remained fixed on him, it was like a silent battle of glances, only he transmitted annoyance and you conveyed challenge.
You didn't even realize Thanos was talking to you until he snapped his fingers in front of your face to get for attention.
—The earth calls you —He said at the same time that he directed his gaze towards where you were still looking —Don't tell me you liked him.
—It's cute —You responded without much importance, looking away.
—Go and talk to him —The rapper encouraged you by playing with the rings on his fingers.
—¿Talk to who? —Nam Gyu approached you and gave you a friendly blow on the head, making your lips twitch.
—Nobody —You responded immediately, giving Thanos a threatening look but he was more focused on his music than on your conversation.
You knew Nam Gyu like the back of your hand and if he knew that you liked the man he didn't like it was definitely going to be a problem.
When it was time to play the next game, they took them to a colorful room where they had to form teams of five members. Your brother integrated you into the team with Thanos, but your eyes and mind wandered to a certain player with the number 333.
—Maybe I should look for another team, we don't know what we are going to play —You excused yourself by walking away from them without letting your brother object.
You walked between the players until your gaze fell on Myung gi, you formed your best smile and went towards him, he jumped a little when you suddenly put your hands on his shoulders and shook him to annoy him.
—It seems that we will be a team —You said standing in front of him.
—¿Your team didn't want a woman? —he ask, scanning you from top to bottom with a judging look.
—It's not that, I thought it would be smart to divide us.
He seemed to brush it off and motioned for you to follow him in search of his other members, it was simple and once their team was ready they sat on the ground while they gave the order.
You felt Nam gyu's gaze burning the back of your neck but it was the last thing you cared about now, you needed to get through these games alive but your mind was also flying towards the guy who was next to you.
—¿And what are you good at?
—I'm good at whatever you want —Your response caught him off guard, you were supposed to hate him ¿and now you were flirting with him? That small smile on your lips and the look in your eyes did not go unnoticed, but when you did not receive a positive response to your suggestion you said the following: —Gonggi.
Your team passed the test and they were sent back to the huge room, your brother and Thanos had not yet passed through so you stayed silent and sat on your bed.
You admitted it, if you cared about your brother but you also tried to keep a cool mind and your feelings buried, here had to survive and win, the chances of dying were very high so you were prepared for that.
—This is very stressful —Myung gi's voice brought you out of your pensions and to your surprise he was standing next to you, watching you cautiously.
—But fun —You responded, moving a little to the left to make room next to you —The worst that can happen to us is a shot in the head.
You tried to ease him tension but that seemed to stress him out even more so you quickly spoke up.
—Anyway, I don't think they'll eliminate us, you're good.
—You too.
The answer was sincere, you had paid each other a compliment, Myung gi continued looking at your profile while you kept the gaze down, you were pretty although had a shitty character, however... maybe he could ignore that.
The silence between you was not awkward, in fact it was loaded with attraction, your heart was beating like crazy to the point that you could swear he heard it, your red cheeks and the shine in your eyes were beautiful to him, your thoughts wandered into fantasies that you wish you could do him, fuck it, you had nothing to lose.
—Hey... I'll go to the bathroom, to relieve some stress —You said softly and with a slight smile, a clear invitation for him to accompany you.
You got out of bed and walked cautiously towards the door with him following you, you asked the guard at the entrance for permission to go to the bathroom and the two of were guided down the long hallway.
The bathrooms were divided into men and women but when the guard turned around to watch, you and Myung gi entered the women's room.
As soon as you heard the "click" of the door closing, you launched yourself at him to kiss him needily.
He reciprocated the kiss and backed away towards one of the stalls where he opened the door with a light kick and sat on the cup with you on top of him.
Hearing him rapid breathing and feeling him hands on your hips was just as you imagined, a gasp escaped your mouth as he pulled you closer to his body to feel each other.
—You gave me a black eye —He murmured to you with a touch of reproach but also with the heat of the moment.
You were going to mock him but your words were interrupted by a small cry of pain mixed with pleasure when you felt him teeth dig a little into your neck.
—Now we are even —He said proudly, pulling away from your neck to see the purple mark he had left on your skin.
You bit your lower lip and continued with the heated kiss, him hands were responsible for removing your clothes and you did the same skillfully.
The cubicle they were in was small and not exactly the most comfortable but the only thing you could feel was how he entered you again and again with erratic movements, hearing him grunt and gasp quietly was like music to your ears and in those at times the thing you least cared about was the risk of another player entering the bathroom or even the guard.
Your nails dug into his shoulders as you pushed yourself up and down to reach climax, Myung gi's gaze was fixed on your face, seeing your closed eyes and the sweat that fell on your forehead, with one hand he removed the hair that bothered your face as he listened to you moan and gasp.
Like a gentleman, he let you finish first and then he finished off of you to avoid future consequences.
—If you tell anyone, I'll blacken your other eye... —You said as a warning, taking deep breaths and relaxing your body on him.
—I don't promise anything —He responded while kissing your neck and caressing your hair.
You knew that if Thanos or Nam Gyu bothered him again he would defend himself with this just to make your brother a little more angry, he was an idiot but you didn't regret anything.
You and him heard the knocking on the door and the guard's complaints telling them that they had to leave to return to the other players so you stood up on shaky legs and adjusted your clothes.
—¡Come out now! They've been in there for a long time —The guard demanded for the fourth time, knocking on the door —¡I'm going in!
When he opened the bathroom door, fortunately you and Myung gi were already dressed and outside the cubicle, you had just finished washing your hands when you saw the guard with a look of indignation and displeasure.
—¡You can't go into the women's bathroom! ¡This is harassment and disrespect! —You said, looking at him with annoyance as you walked past him to leave.
The guard looked at Myung-gi who also kept a serious and firm look.
—¿What? I'm a gentleman, I'm not going to leave a girl alone with a masked man in a place like this —He said in defense, passing by him side but not before bumping he shoulder into him in an act of disdain.
The two returned to the other players and you smiled calmly when you saw your brother sitting with the others on the stretcher stairs.
—¿Where were you? —Nam Gyu asked curious but calm, the drug he had consumed with Thanos had not yet fully worn off.
—I went to the bathroom —You responded without importance, sitting between him and Thanos, your gaze went to 333, who also saw you with a slight smile on his lips.
—Shit ¿What happened to your neck? —Thanos asked seeing the purple mark on your skin and you instinctively covered it with your hand, Nam Gyu also turned to look at you with intrigue.
—An insect —You knew it would be a problem to fuck your brother's enemy but you couldn't care less, you could do whatever you want, whenever and with whoever you want.
And every chance they had, they both took a little escape to the bathroom.
N/A: It's not one of my best works but I had to upload something, do I write more about him?

Paternal Instinct
squid game men's x daughter reader
Tumblr media
☆ As the title says, this is gonna be a little bit paternal, like, I'm sure they'd be the best when it comes to children (sometimes)
☆ I will put imagines in and out of games and depending on the character the reader will be of different ages.
☆ The next thing I'll post will be a request from Thanos
Hwang In-ho
Tumblr media
● Outside of games.
You, being a teenager in this world that your father dragged you into after your mother's death, were complete chaos.
You worked as a supervisor at his side wearing a mask with the figure from the square depicted in the center and despite being part of an organization of sadists you have not killed anyone, In-ho made sure you did not have to.
You walked into your room and removed the mask from your face as let out a long sigh, it had been a long day overseeing the creation of the games that this year's participants would cross and now all you wanted to do was sleep but as soon as you dropped your body onto the soft mattress, the door opened.
In-ho, without his frotman suit, entered your room with a small cake in his hands and the candles lit.
True, it was your birthday, ¿how come you forgot your own birthday? Maybe it's because you spent the day planning the deaths of innocent people.
—I asked for this cake to be made for you —In-ho said with a small, almost imperceptible smile.
They weren't as close as before, but he cared about you and tried to pay attention to everything that had to do with you.
—Thanks —you forced a smile as you sat on the edge of your bed —But it wasn't necessary.
You wanted to take it back when you saw the slight grimace on your father's face but couldn't, you simply weren't in the mood to celebrate your birthday under these conditions, your life wasn't the best and although you didn't hold any grudge against In-ho sometimes you wondered what your adolescence would have been like if he had left you with your uncle Jun-ho and your grandmother.
—I know you think that, you can say it —He said, leaving the cake on the table next to your bed.
—¿Why didn't you leave me with Jun-ho? I don't want to live here, I've had enough with my mother's death without seeing you become a puppet for these games.
In-ho sighed and looked down, you were right, he should have left you with his brother, he could have taken better care of you than he was doing but he didn't want to abandon you, he had already lost the love of his life, he couldn't lose his little world after that.
—You are the only thing I have left —He responded with regret —Believe me, I considered it, letting you have a life you deserved but I couldn't just watch you through cameras ¿Do you think bringing you to this shit was my first choice?
You didn't respond, you just hugged him and let him return the gesture, you still didn't want to continue living there but you didn't want to leave him alone either, after all, both only had each other.
After a few minutes of silence you looked back at the cake and smiled softly.
—¿Is it chocolate?
—dark chocolate, your favorite —He left a fatherly kiss on your head and took the cake again to put it in front of you —Blew out the candles and make a wish
The smile on your father's face was enough to ease your worries for a few moments, you blew out the candles hoping that one day these games would end.
● Inside the games.
In-ho's plan was going just as he thought, he approached Gi-hun and began to gain his trust but seeing you walk towards them among all the players made his heart skip a beat.
—¿Can I be on your team? —You asked with a smile that showed your white teeth.
—¿How old are you, girl? —390 asked with a surprised expression.
—Twenty —You replied naturally, playing with your hands, but In-ho snorted and took two steps towards you.
—No —He looked at you witheringly —No —Now he turned to see Gi-hun's team —She is sixteen, no twenty ¿What are you doing here?
He ended up looking at you again, he really didn't want you to be here and worse because his lie along with his fake name Young-il would fall apart but you were smart.
—¿Do you know each other? —Asked 388, who you found cute almost immediately.
—Yes, he is a friend of my father
—¿What are you doing here? —In-ho asked again, almost desperate to get an answer. You disobeyed him and you can be sure that you will be grounded until you turn thirty.
—The same as you —You answered firmly and defiantly, your smile challenged him because you were sure that he wouldn't scold you or his whole false theater would fall apart —¿Can I be on your team?
—Sure —Dae-ho replied, smiling kindly at you.
You smiled at him too, but with other intentions, just to irritate your father a little and take advantage of the fact that he couldn't scold you now.
—Thank you —you said with a flirtatious smile and a wink, to which Dae-ho lowered his head in embarrassment.
—Sixteen —In-ho repeated with slight annoyance and a tense smile.
Dae-ho tensed and raised his hands in a sign of peace and took a step back, he was just being kind but it was better to be safe than to have to face that man who kept looking at you with annoyance and reprimand.
You would be a problem for your father because not only would you challenge him at every opportunity you had but you would also try to help Gi-hun end these games, that was your wish and nothing was going to make you change your mind.

● Outside of games.
The morning was calm, everything was silent and through the window you could see the clear sky with the sun shining, a good climate but a great contrast with the interior of your home.
The walls were wallpapered and the floor was shiny, you placed your hands on the cold marble table while your father placed a plate with a mountain of pancakes in front of you.
—Breakfast is ready —he said with a wide smile.
A polite smile, but most of the time it conveys coldness and threat. For you, this expression was genuine affection.
—¿Aren't you going to have breakfast with me? —You asked curiously watching him wipe his hands with the kitchen cloth and then fix his hair and walk towards the refrigerator.
—I would love to stay pumpkin but you know I have to go to work —He replied without paying much attention to you —After finishing your breakfast you take off your pajamas, get dressed formally and wait for your teacher to arrive.
You nodded silently as you used the fork to bring a piece of pancake to your mouth.
Life was monotonous.
Every day, you got out of bed to make it, had breakfast that your father prepared, bathed, combed your hair and got ready to take your private lessons at home, did your homework and at night you watched an exact hour of cartoons, brushed your teeth and went to bed.
Your father was a very organized man when it came to your schedule, you remember how one time you watched five extra minutes of television and as punishment he locked you in your room for five hours.
“Television melts your brain”
Despite everything, he loved you, you knew it, he just had a strange way of letting you know.
—I'll be back tonight, I love you pumpkin —He said approaching you to leave a kiss on your forehead.
He was a good father, but you didn't know anything about what he was doing out there.
You didn't know that he recruited and investigated people who would die playing for money or that sometimes he took on dirty jobs that his boss sent him, you didn't know what kind of person he really was and that was what the salesman wanted.
He adored you and that's why he avoided at all costs that you knew about the double life he led, he didn't want to hurt you.
However, there were certain mistakes that he regretted, one for example was that he himself had killed your mother as soon as you were born, he knew that she would want to run away with you, she did not want to continue living the life she had at his side and that was why he had to put a bullet between her eyes.
He didn't let her take you away from him, you were his daughter and even though he locked you up practically every day, he convinced himself that it was only for safety.
He only let you go out for a walk in the park and shopping malls on your birthday, once a year.
Despite how boring your life was, everything was going well until one night you heard moans and sobs coming from below your house.
You rarely heard them and this time you were very curious, you got out of bed, put on your slippers and left your room.
You silently walked down the stairs as the noises grew louder, when you reached what seemed to be the source of the sound, you saw that it was your father's secret room, a door that led to the basement was always locked, but this time... it was open just a little.
—¿Daddy? —You called him softly as you opened the door.
As you walked down the dark basement stairs, sobs mixed with opera music filled your ears, sending a shiver of fear through your entire body, you hugged your teddy bear tighter.
—The probability of dying is one in six and of surviving five in six —You heard your father's voice.
He explained with a polite smile, it was a great contrast to the situation was in, he liked to feel the adrenaline of this game and that way he could also get rid of these two men who had been following him during the day.
However, when he saw you at the bottom of the stairs with a scared expression and on the verge of tears, his smile faded and hid the gun behind him.
—¿What are you doing awake? It's past your bedtime and I told you a hundred times that you weren't allowed to come in here.
He spoke sternly and angrily, the two men he had tied to a respective chair began to make desperate sounds to get your attention, as if you were the only way to get out of there.
—¡Silence! —He shouted furiously making you jump a little in your place, you hadn't seen this side of him —Go to your room, ¡now!
Once you ran out of there, he took out his gun again and pointed it at the man in the red shirt. He was the one who made the most noise and that's why you woke up.
—Excellent, y'all traumatized a nine-year-old girl —He said with a tense smile
Although it was also his fault, he knew that at any moment you would discover his work anyway, but he hoped that wouldn't happen soon.
After you returned to your room you couldn't sleep, a couple of hours passed until your father opened the door and cautiously entered.
—You were disobedient —he began in a serious voice —And as a result you saw something you shouldn't have.
You were still lying face down with your face hidden in the pillow, he still had the loaded gun in his hand, he knew what had to do or else you would cause trouble.
But him couldn't.
The ease with which he killed his father was surprising but he couldn't kill you, you were the only thing that gave this home humanity and the mere thought of ending it made his stomach turn.
He clenched the gun in his hand and twisted his lips, after a long mental battle he put the gun in his pants and sat next to you.
—There are many things that you still won't understand, but what you can be sure of is that I am your father and I love you —With his hand he caressed your hair and felt you relax a little. —No matter what you saw down there, you will still be my daughter, but there will be some changes in this house.
You remained silent, you felt distrust but he was still your father, he was the only thing you knew and even if you were afraid of him you couldn't leave there, you had nowhere to go.
After a few minutes you sat up in bed and hugged him for comfort. He just caressed your hair and kissed your head.
Hwang Jun-ho
Tumblr media
● Outside of games.
Being the daughter of a police officer had its advantages and disadvantages.
One advantage was that you could brag about it whenever someone bothered you at school, including teachers, and a big disadvantage was that you rarely got to spend time together as a father and daughter.
Jun-ho worked constantly but he also tried to keep an eye on you. "She's your daughter, before you know it she'll be your age," his mother constantly repeated to him reproachfully, she was right, time was flying and if he continued looking for his lost brother or working double shifts at the police station he would miss more years of your life.
For that reason, he decided to leave work early that day, and went to buy two hamburgers, some chips and candy while he thought of some fun activity to strengthen the family bond.
But when he got home he found you sitting at the table next to your teacher.
He twisted his lips, assuming you had gotten into trouble.
It was no surprise, you missed some classes, you didn't bring homework and your grades weren't the best but you were a great girl in terms of your behavior, just very distracted and Jun-ho couldn't help but feel guilty about that behavior on your part, yeah, sometimes you did it to get his attention.
After talking for two hours with your teacher she left and your father looked at you tiredly.
—You haven't taken any algebra classes, if you continue like this you'll fail the year.
You formed a fake smile on your lips.
—The teacher hates me —You stated, getting up from your chair to go towards the bag that your father had brought. —You left work early.
—I thought I'd do something fun, you know... father-daughter
You saw him with a raised chest, it was not usual, it was already customary for Jun-ho to spend most of the day outside the house, either looking for your uncle or immersing himself in his work.
—¿It's a holiday and I forgot? —You asked funny and sarcastic, turning around to get a juice from the refrigerator.
—Funny —he responded falsely —Now bring your notebooks, let's study together.
It was not the entertaining activity that he had in mind but if it brought them closer as a family it was an opportunity that he would not waste.
—¿Oh really? I mean, I already missed the school year anyway.
The look on Jun-ho's face let you know that he wasn't joking, they were going to spend the next four hours studying numbers and equations.
You really thought it would be a waste of time but it wasn't like that, as the conversation about algebra flowed the confidence did too, Jun-ho had been absent many times but this help made you remember that no matter what happens or how, no matter how big or small the problem is, he will be there for you.
● Inside the games.
You were stubborn, you always disobeyed any order they gave you, even if your father asked you not to get involved in his affairs you ignored him because were family and you should support each other.
The last few days you had seen Jun-ho more worried and anxious than normal, so you decided to follow him and find out the reason for his current state but you didn't imagine that it was something related to the disappearance of your uncle In-ho, apparently he had already got some clues and you wanted to help him.
He scolded you when he discovered you and warned you not to get involved, he even went to leave you with grandma with the excuse that he would be away for a couple of days but you escaped through a window and followed him again.
That led you to where you were now.
Your bare feet were sweating and your hands were shaking, you tried to avoid looking down through the glass you were in but curiosity got the better of you and you looked down into the void.
You were terrified.
The night you followed your father, one of the men dressed in pink with a circle mask discovered you, left you unconscious and when you woke up you were wearing a green uniform with the number "455" lying on a bed and surrounded by several people who dressed the same, you thought it was some joke, you didn't know what you had gotten yourself involved in, and when you saw that had to play a series of games to avoid being killed, you felt as if the soul was leaving your body.
You looked for your father among all the players but you couldn't find him and shortly after you learned that he had infiltrated the guards, he told you when he came in during a fight between players and was able to talk to you for a few seconds.
—I don't want to die —You murmured fearfully as you heard another glass breaking accompanied by a scream.
—You're not going to die, you have to relax —218 spoke behind you, you were one of the last to cross these crystals and you were more than grateful for that.
You gulped and continued jumping to the next crystal that fortunately had already been tested by another player.
Meanwhile Jun-ho felt his stomach turn and his heart beat like crazy.
He tried to maintain a firm and calm posture, he was still an infiltrator and he couldn't let them notice his concern, but seeing you there between life and death made his heart stop.
One of the so-called "VIP" with a gold mask called him to serve him more liquor and he obeyed, however, the conversation that these people were having about the players made his blood run cold, they talked as if they were just entertainment, some circus animals so that these people could have fun as spectators, but what caught their attention the most was the way they talked about you.
"She looks about fifteen years old" one said with amusement "I say sixteen" spoke another.
Wrong, you were thirteen years old and Jun-ho felt like the worst father in the world for letting you get involved in this.
—¿Will sell the body if she dies or will they cremate it? —One asked interestedly and earning laughter from the rest, Jun-ho only felt nauseous listening to it.
Jun-ho returned to serve liquor to one of the masked men but when he heard a glass break followed by a female scream that he immediately identified as your, he turned around and felt his world collapse.
Where you were previously standing was now 218 with the gaze lost downwards and the body tense, when it was your turn to decide between the two crystals you refused, you didn't want to do it and saw the man who helped you survive each game was there behind you ready to push you.
Another breaking glass caught the attention of the guests, guards and the frontman, Jun-ho had dropped the tray with everything and bottle of liquor.
—I apologize —he murmured, bending down to pick up the mess of broken glass, taking advantage of the fact that no one could see his face, he shed tears of pain.
[...]
A few months had passed after living that nightmare in the games, Jun-ho left there with a bullet in his shoulder and with the disappointment of discovering that it was his brother who was leading all that, but also thanks to that you left alone with some broken bones.
In-ho recognized you instantly and made sure that you could get out of there alive, when you fell from that glass platform your body did not fall directly to the ground, the blow was cushioned by a pad that had been placed specifically for you.
He pretended you were dead and sent you to the hospital, When Jun-ho found out that you were there, he cried with happiness knowing that you were still breathing.
He walked into your hospital room with a set of clean clothes in his hands and when he saw you sitting on the bed eating Jell-O and watching TV he couldn't help but laugh.
—For you this was a vacation.
—Falling from a great height brings its advantages —You said with a triumphant smile, you had gotten rid of many exams and schoolwork.
He always apologized to you for everything you had to go through, from that day on he stopped looking for In-ho (or at least he did it secretly from you) and he was more attentive to you, he took you to school, he was never missing to any event that was special for you and he promised to put you ahead of everything.
Seong Gi-hun
Tumblr media
● Outside the games.
He's not the best father but he tries.
You were standing in the forum of your school wearing a dark blue robe and the characteristic mortarboard on your head, in your hands you held your diploma and tried to smile for the camera of the photographer that the school had hired.
You still looked between the seats in the stands for your father but there was no one, your mother had gone with your sister to the United States with her new husband and you had stayed here because you didn't want to abandon Gi-hun.
You formed a grimace on your lips and looked down with sadness and disappointment until suddenly you heard him voice among the people and you looked up again.
—Yes, my daughter just graduated, ¡Oops! Sorry if I stepped on you —He spoke embarrassedly as he crossed the row of people to get to his seat.
You laughed softly and inevitably raised your hand to greet him and get his attention even though your teacher scolded you.
Gi-hun carried a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a gift box in his hands, he sat in his respective place and smiled at you affectionately.
To be honest with himself, he had not planned to come to your graduation, he would apologize to you later by taking you to eat, giving you a gift and flowers, but in the end he decided to go, late but he arrived.
It took him a long time to find the salesman again and he was practically investing all his money in it, this day was not going to be different, ¿what made him change his mind? The photo of you as a baby that he had saved on his phone, the one-year-old you would cry inconsolably if he knew he was going to be without him on this special day.
When the ceremony ended you ran towards him, who welcomed you with open arms.
—Congratulations my life, I'm proud of you —He said, giving you a fatherly kiss on the forehead.
—Thanks for coming —Your smile was enough to confirm that he had made the right decision.
He gave you your flowers and the gift, when you opened it you found a beautiful sewing machine, it was the most appropriate gift considering that you had just graduated as a fashion designer.
—¡Thank you dad! —You said happily, hugging him tightly again.
You were excited and he was also happy to share this moment with you, he had isolated himself from everything for the last three years but you managed to get him out of his comfort zone to also make him smile.
Sometimes he isolated you to protect you, he didn't want anyone involved in those games to know that he had a daughter, a great weakness if they asked him and if something happened to you he was sure that he would never forgive himself and he would be capable of doing the unimaginable for defend you.
He called you "my life" and it was because that's what you were to him, his entire life, his oldest daughter was all he had left.
● Inside the games.
The last thing he wanted to happen was exactly what happened.
The night they took him back to those games you were also dragged with him, not by your own will because you didn't know anything about this but by the simple fact of being the closest to him you found yourself involved in this conflict.
—¿Why didn't you ever tell me about this? —You asked him cautiously as ate the food those pink guards had given them in silver cans.
—I didn't want you to get involved in this —He admitted with an expression of failure and anguish —But now you're in danger.
—We'll be fine —You smiled at him with motivation —They're just... they're child's games ¿right? We will get out of here alive.
—She's right, we just have to be prepared —Young-il said agreeing with you.
You stayed quiet and sat next to your father while you finished eating until a dispute between players caught your attention, one with purple hair and his friend forcefully pushed another to the ground.
A grimace of pain formed on your lips as the poor guy was kicked in the abdomen, knocking the wind out of him.
—¿Aren't they going to help you? They are hurting him —You complained, turning to look at the group of allies that your father had formed, but when you saw that no one was going to do anything, you stood up.
But as soon as you took a step, Young-il put a hand on your shoulder as a sign that he would take care of the situation.
After he hit the two bullies you went to player 333 and helped him stand up.
—¿Are you okay? Come with me —You said leading him to your group.
He gave you his name as a thank you, Lee Myung-gi, while you were talking to him you noticed that he was attractive and he was only a couple of years older than you
Well, eight years to you wasn't much of a difference but your father wasn't too happy about it.
During the next game in which they had to team up with five players, Gi-hun tried to keep you close.
—Well, the five of us are here, we are complete.
—Myung-gi doesn't have a team yet —You said, approaching 333 who was still standing next to you but looking in all directions in search of some team —I'll go and form another one with him.
Those words didn't seem pleasant to Gi-hun either, but before he could refuse, Young-il interrupted to help you a little.
—That's good, this way it will be easier for you to find team.
You thanked him with your look and before your father could say anything you took 333 by the hand and the two of snuck through the players in search of a team.
Even so, you could feel your father's gaze on your back and not to mention Myung-gi, he did feel somewhat intimidated but he also couldn't deny a certain attraction he had towards you since he saw you.
It was incredible and made you laugh how despite the circumstances he was still protective of you, not only protecting you from physical harm, but also emotional harm and keeping an eye out in case someone wanted to break your heart.
With the salesman I didn't put it into the games because I think it's obvious that that man would never allow something like that when it comes to his daughter.
Thanks for reading and the next thing I'll post will be about Thanos, a pending request :D
