Decided to post a meet the bookstagramer now that I have some new friends here 😁 🌿Where are you from? I am from Canberra, the Capital of Australia. But I am living in Wollongong, on the south coast of New South Wales now. 🌿When did you start your bookstagram? I started my dedicated bookstagram on Jan 1st 2018, but I had been posting about my books and writing stuff since about 2015 on my personal instagram. 🌿Would you rather be an author or a publisher? Probably an author, I think if I had any literary career, I would want to be an editor. But I do like the idea of writing my own books and have dabbled in writing over the last 10 years. 🌿Do you prefer standalones or series'? I originally thought it really didn't matter to me, but looking back over my last 4 years of stat's, I'm definitely a standalone person. But I'll pick up series if they interest me. I just gravitate towards standalones. 🌿What author is your biggest inspiration? It's really hard to even narrow it down to a top 5. I feel like there is something inspirational to take from almost every book I've read and loved. Right now though, I'm really resonating with Salena Godden's debut novel Mrs Death Misses Death. Read it! 🌿Favourite Movie? I have sooo many, off the top of my head 10 Things I Hate About You; The Breakfast Club; St Elmo's Fire; Pretty in Pink; Little Women (both versions, but mainly the newest); Labrynth; Mean Girls; Orphan & Silent Hill. That'll do! 🌿What's my dream job? Something to do with publishing, whether it's based in editing, publishing or writing. OR something mundane that pays for my 2 million hobbies. 🌿Favourite book to screen adaptation? I would have to say, Normal People by Sally Rooney, because the book was average for me, but then I watched the show and lost my shit. It was everything and more, and I went back in to the book with a new found appreciation. 🌿Something no one knows about me? I'll answer this with something no one HERE knows about me. I'm obsessed with Ice Hockey. 🌿Dog ear or bookmarks? Both!
