Huge Spirit Work Red Flag

I literally saw a post here about spirit work...involving predatory behavior towards children spirits. The context of it is going to a children's cemetery, luring a child spirit with candy and toys into a vessel then trapping them in that object.

You do realize that is equivalent to being in a white van promising candy to some kids down your street before kidnapping them right?

It's one thing to help children spirits when they're lost. It's another to go to a children's graveyard, disrupt the sanctity of their burial grounds there and try to trap children. Luring spirits then trapping them in general is hardly ever a good or smart thing to do. -- Also, picture this. Imagine someone's child dies, their lives taken before they could even start and you have to watch your child's funeral and burial. Then you hear about someone wandering around the children's cemetery, trying to befriend your dead child's spirit and lure them with candies and toys to be bound to an object. No matter how you spin this or try to twist this to a positive light, it's horrible and utterly disrespectful. I will boldly say that the Tumblr staff needs to look into this post...since it's involving the topic of minors.

Entities - including gods - hurt people historically and in the modern age. I'm tired of people pushing entities as a inherently good and benevolent 24/7/365 whole. They can - and plenty will - manipulate, trick, lure, and wound you.

They're alive and living beings have their own motives. They're often incompatible with each other. Spirit cultures often are fundamentally damaging to human mindsets. Deities are the same.

Soul Eaters -- and one of my spirit Family members is a Soul Eater? ---

No, I'm not talking about the anime. I'm talking about these types of entities that I was listening to from a Navajo Youtuber under the official name, Shanclen Shadow Productions.

I've been very interested in his take on spirits/entities as it aligns pretty close to what I've seen with my Sight, consistently. So far, I really like his takes on the spirit world and it paints both a beautiful and a brutally realistic picture that I've seen and observed watching spirits and other beings. But this one...this one...

... The reason this hits me hard is because I've seen the exact same thing. The fact he was able to perfectly paint the same picture of the beings I saw when I channel or just by walking around...made the hairs at the back of my head raise. I, too, saw a terrifying lionlike entity with human hands and arms as their manes, eating up energy. I've seen some that take on different forms other than lions, but other animals but still with human arms and legs protruding from their forms... It also reminds me of the Egyptian entity called Ammit, a lionlike being that eats the souls of the wicked. I wonder if there as some connections or interpretations of a similar or the same being...

But anyways, I also couldn't help the similarities I see in one of my spirit Family members named Shad. (His fake name for public use -- I would never share his real name) Shad has supposedly been around me since I was a child. I remember he took simpler forms to not frighten me. When he came back as I got into spirit work, he still maintained his simpler form but eased into his more raw form. People say he looked dragonlike with a mane, and I've seen hands protruding from his form once in a while too. He happens to also go out hunting, devouring bad energies and even other entities that upset the balance. -- or so he said. I don't know if he is a Soul Eater, but the comparison is similar by his function and appearance...

Shadow People

I have been really wanting to dig deep into this topic. I have been looking at documentaries or spiritual beliefs that surrounds them, because they play an important part of my childhood.

In my experiences, I see them blatantly when I'm both awake and when I'm about to sleep. I see them even in the day time in the shadows of my home. I also never experienced sleep paralysis in association with them as I do hear frequently, but I do experience sleep paralysis quite a bit as a teenager. They stopped coming when I was seven, when I vividly remembered having a dream that night...killing the shadow person that was the most invasive. Of course, they came back later. Or...one did. But anyways... I work with one now as a spirit worker. I won't give out his name, but he hasn't been malicious. He's a more introverted and reserved, and he stares out the window in my room. I would leave Earl Gray tea offerings for him when he's there -- and who wouldn't want some fresh hot beverage as you're people watching? In the past, I had dreams and moments where he protects the home from outside spirits/entities, kept me grounded before I could astral project, and offer embraces at night. However, I do admit, when he does open his mouth to talk... ...It sounded absolutely horrifying. He sounded distorted, growly, and .... I couldn't describe it well. It sounded like an elongated growl, a noise that stretches too long and wide like someone who wants to take a bite. ----- I know they are usually beings of trepidation and caution, but I want to hear other people's experiences involving Shadow People. How did you feel about them? Do you still experience them growing up? Have they done anything in particular that stuck out to you that you want to share? What do you think is their objective? ... I did ask him these questions, and some were answered. I tried translating them, but it wasn't easy to make out. But, I'm getting there.

I cannot imagine being the mother/father of that deceased child, and hearing that some stranger is trying to lure their dead child's soul into a vessel. Truly heartbreaking, indeed. There's no reverence in this no matter how you spin it. But, yes. I had reported and blocked them, along with the implied multiple accounts. My only advice is not to engage with the person but to let the Tumblr staff know of the situation and block them right after. I hope this person realizes this, and improve in the future. Signs your Spirit Companion isn't...your Companion

Just going to get right on it. (Circumstances are different but these are standard scenarios)

As someone said: Don't play with your life. Spirit work is no joke.

New Spirit/Entity + Spirit Work Mistakes

Before I start, this is not to take a jab at anyone directly, despite reblogging a post of an incident that happened to multiple people...and wanting to spread the awareness to keep people spiritually safe. This is more for an educational awareness with my experiences to save people the trouble.

---- I am currently working and vetting a new spirit/entity once more. He has been rehomed to me a while ago, and he serves as the example of what I mean when I say spirit work isn't a game of feeding a fantasy/your ego. Here, I'll call the spirit/entity "N." I will not release his real name or the name of the human due to the safety reasons, other than he was a former servitor spirit to an inexperienced consumer. By consumer, I mean that the person "bought" him on Creepy Hollows, then tried to turn "N" into a tool to fulfill that person's deepest, fantasy. With the notion of being taken advantaged of, the servitor became sentient (a "tulpa") and "N" flew into a rage and started to ruin the person's life, relationships, and even threaten to ruin the person's career. (I'm slowly just starting to believe less and less in the concept of servitors as this happens, but that's a whole other story that I'll get into later....)

The very angry spirit is currently rehomed with me, but is away from his situation.

I actually psychically channeled the arrival of "N" a couple of weeks before this, along with seeing a dream of him angry and malicious towards his host without context. When the person reached out to me about the situation, matching the description and the names involved, you can imagine the hairs standing at the back of my head! ...Which is one of the main reasons why I was willing to rehome "N" with me to be honest, along with seeing his condition. This is as far as I'll go for the details of this story. ... But anyways, please, take this with a grain of salt. I'm hearing and experiencing so many stories of people recklessly buying and binding spirits/entities to themselves to start with spirit work. It usually ends with the relationship falling short inevitably with no closure, or being attacked and hated by an angry/scared spirit. Spirit work isn't really beginner friendly in my eyes, but I can understand why people are enticed to it. But it's the fact you are inviting a stranger into your energy and home. Please be aware of that. Please do lots of research of this if this still calls to you if you are starting out. I do not recommend buying spirits/entities and their supposed vessels off of Etsy/Ebay/Tumblr, etc. Most of these are SCAMS! Especially Creepy Hollows whom are known for scams, servitors that act as counterfeits to behave and portray what they supposedly are, and are known to house angry spirits. If you want to get into spirit work, or at least the way I would get into it, is to just meditate and channel. (Don't forget to discern.) Go for walks! Get to know your local spirits and land spirts around you! You'd be surprised. Make offerings with the intention to invite spirits to come to you in their own will in wanting to be around your energy.

I know I keep talking about spirit work this way, but this has been connected to my spirit work too, like with "N."

Spirit Work: Anchors

While I'm 100% sure without a doubt that most of your spirit team/family can just slide or pop right into your space to hang out with you whenever they want, there are some of them that could use the little help. Some spirit/entities need their vessels or something else to help them anchor to where you are if they want to hang out or to be assisted. ...Or it's just to give them comfort, or letting them know you clearly want to hang out with them as a green lit light if they're unsure. ------------------------------- Steps to do this: -You can of course take their vessel with you if they have one. -You can have them choose an item they like and you take it with you. ... Or You can do the anchor sigil method.

This is me and my Family's preferred method. -- and again, it's all up to you though. I'm just sharing a technique. Also no, you are NOT binding them to that sigil. The intention is to help anchor them to you if they need help to stay stable in your presence if they need it. ------------------------------------ How to do it and how it works: You'll need: -Parcel paper (or any paper will do) -Pencil and an ink pen -The spirit/entity's permission -Your intention -Something you personally use for protection (a protection jar, crystals ,etc.) --------- 1. I would set up my protection, call upon any guides/deities/your spirit family during the process. Set up the intention of just using the personalized sigil as just their anchor, and keep your intentions focused as you begin. 2. Invite that entity/spirit/Have their vessel close next to you. 3. Write your spirit/entity's name/preferred name on the piece of parcel with a pencil. 4. Strike out any vowels or repeating letters in their name, but keep the others. 5. Arrange the letters into any form of shape for the sigil. You should sketch different versions and see which ones felt the best. Get creative with your spirit/entity companion! 6. Ink it in and cut it out! 7. Offer the sigil spirit/entity the sigil on the altar and have them focus their energies into it. 8. Thanked the spirit/entity. Put it in your wallet/purse/where ever you store your things when you're going out.

(If their names are too small for any letters to be struck out, then just use them all!) Hope this helps!

"Don't Be This Witch" Story...

...It's going to be painful and embarrassing in the long run otherwise. ----------------------

I went to a psychic/witch channeling activity group last night. It was fun and insightful, but there's always this one person in the group... As soon as people shown up for the event, she immediately starts bragging loudly, she was the most outspoken person in the group. This 25 year old woman bragged at how much of an expert she is even though she admitted she just started her path only two years ago, bragged how easy she can channel people without trying, bragged how she's never grounded to Earth spiritually and used it as leverage over others, bragged about how all-powerful she is at her craft, bragged about how she can bypass or break any wards she wants and astral project into anyone's homes through those wards, bragged how she is connected to deities to an intimate level more than most people, bragged that she can befriend any spirit she wants... I didn't say anything but only listened. I let her spew whatever she wants, knowing she's digging herself a hole doing this. .... We played a "hot seat" channeling reading game. It's where we go off into groups and we take turns channeling into an individual's energy together and give that person insight or what we saw/feel/etc through feeling their energy. I was the second person in line for the "hot seat" reading. Most people who read my energy in that table were pretty accurate. It was really insightful and cool to see. But when it comes to her, she didn't get any insight or channeling right for me, or even for the first person that was in the "hot seat." She was increasingly getting angry when I said that nothing she said was resonating. She was only making basic pragmatic assumptions to blanket each answer to make some coverage to make it appear she's effectively psychic. She got my spirit Family completely wrong and assumed they were just molding me. I politely told her it wasn't resonating but I still said that I'll keep that in mind. ... Then it got to her turn after me. I saw something in her energy that I didn't like, along with the other witches. They all saw her energy and called her out, and she got embarrassed. I also saw something in her energy that I wanted to say. I warned her three times if she wants to hear it, and she insisted despite her embarrassment. When I told her that I saw a vision of the nature of her past life murder, she hated what she heard and got really defensive, claimed that I was "evil" and left. Turns out, the actual experienced reader in the group who did her readings from the last couple of weeks told me that she also channeled the same thing. --- My point is... ...Don't be that witch/psychic. There's a lot of them out there, and they'll get humbled really fast in painful or embarrassing ways -- or both.

There's always more to learn and it's dangerous to think one's above others in this craft. ...Also, don't purposely try to astral project to purposely violate randonm people's sacred spaces. You're a creep at that point. Plus, you can piss off the wrong person one day, or something else will follow you back in retaliation. (Luckily, she was only talking it up though)
