Coining a new term: Cross-Aligned

Cross-Aligned is a term when one's conventional orientation differs from one's paraphilic attraction.

This term is strictly anti-abuse. This can mean for example:

a straight man who experiences zoophilic attraction towards male animals

a bisexual woman who experiences only sapphic pedophilic attraction

one who is aromantic but does experience romantic paraphilic attraction

or any other combinations of attraction and orientation.

This is not Radqueer.

So some time ago I made this post describing my stance on the radqueer community. For a quick summary: harassment of any form is wrong and no matter how your stance on radqueer is you shoudn't harass them, especially because many of them are still young and I do believe most don't intend harm and are just trying to express themselves. I also believe that most of the feelings such as atypical dysphoria surrounding "transids" are valid however the language used for them, especially the usage of the prefix trans is flawed and harmful. I also beliefe that any form of alter- and nonhumanity is real and valid. I believe that paraphilias are valid, but should never lead to harmful or abusive behaviour, here is the term I coined for that called anti-abuse paraphilic. While I do believe that paraphilias are valid, I do not view them as a part of MOGAI as a paraphilia is not the same as orientation. Tho they are still marginalised and I believe while not being MOGAI paraphilias still do belong at pride. I also believe that kink belongs at pride.

Now I wanted to coin a term for the stance that isn't simply anti-radqueer because I feel anti-radqueer can push radqueer people away instead of trying to create a healthy discourse with them, I think that this gap needs to be closed and we should respectfully talk to eachother. Plus I have seen many who call themselves anti-radqueer who then go harass or insult radqueers and I don't thik this is okay or helpful.

So I propose the term Nonnocivist.

It is supposed to be a trem like inclusionist, exclusionist and radqueer but is it own stance. It comes from latin "non nocivis" which means "non-harmful". So "nonnocivist" basically means "one who supports what isn't harmful".

Unlike the radqueer stance of being inclusive of all "good faith identities" nonnocivists are inclusive of all non-harmful terms and identities. This includes all MOGAI identities including any form of gender-nonconformity, pronoun-nonconformity (like for example he/him women), neopronouns, nounpronouns and emojipronouns, xenogender and other rare and/or neogenders, m-spec mono-spec combo terms, any a-spec identities, "contradictory terms" such as gaybian, lesboy etc., the SAM (split attraction model), and more.

Outside of MOGAI terms they are also inclusive of any form of alter- and nonhumanity, any form of atypical dsyphoria and any non-harmful terms used to describe atypical dysphoria or a disconnect between identity, feeling of "being supposed to be" something and one's physical self like for example Chronosian, Dissomei, etc.

Nonnocivists are also inclusive of any kinks and paraphilia as long as not acted on in harmful and abusive ways, so anyone who is anti-abuse is fully supported but not included in MOGAI, they are their own thing but not any less valid.

In regards to neurodiversity nonnocivists support educated self diagnosis. They also believe that endogenic systems are real and valid. Their experiences may not be the same as of traumagenic systems but plurality is diverse.

Nonnocivists are also anti-harassment including being against any form of fakeclaiming. Here is the flag I made for it, I took the radqueer flag and reversed it while keeping the base design, I thought it was fitting because the nonnocivist stance takes a more differentiated take on some identities compared to the radqueer stance.

Endogenic Ally

A flag for traumagenic systems who support endogenic systems.

One of our headmates posted this on Reddit some time ago and I thought I'd like to share it here, too.

I am a part of a traumagenic OSDD system and believe that endogenic systems are valid. Your identity should not be up for debate.

I understand that those who went through trauma like we did too might feel attacked by this topic because for some it might seem like belittleling or trivilazing the trauma and abuse they and we went through, but this is not what is happening here. Endogenic systems are just living their lives, expressing their identities and not hurting anyone. They don't claim that they have the exact same struggles as traumagenic systems, they are not taking anything away from us, they are just trying to be themselfes. Why should we police that? If their brain can produce a system without trauma than that's just how their brain is. If they are a system through spirituality then that is just who they are. If they are a system for any other reason then that is just who they are. There is nothing wrong with that.

Alterhumanity, anti-abuse zoophilia and veganism

I already made this post with an anti-abuse zoophilia flag which included veganism as an extend of the anti-abuse stance since all forms of animal abuse, no matter if sexual or through industry are not okay. I made some more flags also including alterhumanity which will be included in this post. Also I will talk about veganism here because I think education on this topic is extreamly important. I love animals and have changed my way of life accordingly. I don't think people who are not vegan are morally worse than vegans because when I became vegan my morals didn't change, I was alway this way, I just opend my eyes and realised the through horrers goin on in the animal industry. I also understand that becoming vegan is not possible for everyone like for example due to health reasons. If you have an eating disorder please seek help and don't cut any products from your diet until a medical professional tells you it is okay to do so. I also believe that vegeterianism schould only be seen as a gateway to veganism or as a compromise for health reason but it should not be the goal since the milk industry is in some aspects even worse than the meat industry. Fact is that even if someone is vegan animals are still suffering and dying for them.

Cows are highly empathetic and inteligent animals. In the milk undustry they are r*ped and forcefully impragnated as that is the only way they can eventually give milk. Mother cows have extreamly strong bonds to their children and when they are taken away, like it always happens in the milk industry, for the mother it is like their child died, this is highly traumatic for the cows, they suffer horribly under this act. Milk cows suffer for years before they eventually die.

Chicken in the Egg industry suffer a fate that is equally bad. They are held in enviroments that don't feel safe for them based on their instincs, they are constantly stressen and anxious, sometimes leading to attacking other chicken and injuring or even killing them. Chicken in the Egg industry are bred so they lay way more eggs than it is natural, so much that they eventually die from this. Naturally a chicken lays 10-15 eggs a year. The chicken bred for the egg industry lay over 300 a year. Their bodies don't have enough minerals to support a stable eggshell sometimes leading to the egg breaking while laying them whitch injures the chicken badly. Infects and eventually death are often a result of this. Another painful way of these bred chicken to die is a cloaca prolapse, there the muscles can't tense and hold the cloaca in anymore due to the ridiculous numbers of eggs they are laying.

And the meat industry should be pretty obvious, animals are held in most of the time way too small chambers, are feeded and killed so that people can eat them.

The industry is in no way comparable to wild animals huntung plus with todays standarts most people can healthily go vegan, veganism even benifits health for most as it reduces risks of diabetes, cancer, different heart diseases, strokes and more.

I am speaking tho those who are alterhuman/nonhuman/otherkin/therian/etc. I am speaking to those who are anti-abuse zoophiles. I am speaking to those who just generally like animals or have empathy for them, please rethink your consumption. I know such a change can be hard but is your luxury really worth so much suffering and pain?

I also understand that for some carnivore alterhumans eating meat can be really euporical, however you with your body and knowledge have the possibilities to don't support animal abuse and find alternatives that give you a similar feeling but doesn't make animals suffer.

Some anti-abuse paraphilia flags

Beforehand I'll say the obvious: children can't consent and therefore the antt-abuse stance doesn't allow adults to engage with children in a sexual context.

As someone who experienced sexual abuse as a child, I know first-hand the trauma that such experiences can cause. My own experience, while not as extreme as others, left me traumatised and I am still effected today. It’s because of this that I feel so strongly about creating a space where we can address sensitive topics with both empathy and responsibility.

We should create the understanding that some attractions or feelings, such as those involving minors, can be incredibly difficult to process for those who experience them, especially with many people calling them monsters or predators for just experiencing attraction can lead to serious mental health issues including depression or even suicide. But just as we work to create support systems for those struggling with mental health issues, it’s crucial that we also address these feelings in a safe, healthy, and non-abusive way.

I do not condone harmful actions. Children must be protected, and abuse of any kind is unacceptable. That said, I believe that simply having these attractions does not make someone inherently evil or a monster, but rather a person who needs help, understanding, healing, and clear boundaries. People can be struggling with feelings they have no control over, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore the fact that acting on those feelings can easily cause harm.

As I explained in a different post I'd like to propose the term minophilia instead of MAP since MAP seems like it want's to take the paraphilia name away from paraphilias related to minors but instead of doing that we should destigmatise and educate about paraphilias. Often Pedophilias is used is often used as a catch-all for attraction to minors, but technically, it refers only to prepubescent children. Other terms like Infantophilia (attraction towards babies), nepiophilia (attraction towards toddlers), hebephilia (attraction to early pubescent minors) and ephebophilia (attraction to mid-to-late adolescents) exist, but there isn't a widely used neutral term to describe all paraphilias related to minors where the term minophilia would be aplied.

I created the following flags and this conversation to highlight that we can acknowledge the complexities of these feelings without enabling harm. This is about showing care for those who are struggling, giving visibility to those who are the most stigmatised and demonised, while still maintaining clear boundaries to protect children and ensure responsibility. I hope these flags can serve as a symbol of ethical accountability, where people can express themselves responsibly without fear of stigma, while also emphasizing that harmful and abusive actions are never okay.

What is going on in one's mind, what fantasies they have, etc. is up to them alone. Having certain attractions or fantasies itself is not harmful. Acting on one's attraction through fiction or roleplay with consenting adults is not harmful. Fantasies should not be policed, what matters is how people act on their fantasies.

I also created the auto- versions which means being aroused by imagining oneself as a minor rather than being attracted to minors (one can be both tho). I myself am a autminophile as a result of my trauma from sexual abuse as a child. Since that can be a result of trauma I included trauma recovery in the meaning of the autominophilia flag. All other flags have the same meaining as the umbrella terms anti-abuse minophilia and anti-abuse autominophilia.

The thing about Radqueer

I want to share my stance on Radqueer and the topics connected to it.

I believe that any identity that doesn’t cause harm is valid. This differs from the Radqueer stance of “good faith identities.” I don’t think it’s right to hate on Radqueers or transids because I genuinely believe most don’t intend to cause harm, but the reality is that some of the radqueers do with how they comunicate and name certain things and I’d like to explain how.

When it comes to concepts like "transabled," I don’t think feeling a disconnect between how you experience yourself and how you physically are is inherently bad, not at all.

However, the issue lies in labeling these experiences as "trans." People who identify as "transabled" often say they feel like they were supposed to be disabled. This is controversial because it can dismiss or trivialize the struggles disabled people face. I do believe there’s a way to describe and express these feelings without causing harm, but calling it “transabled” is not that way. I also believe that those who call themselves "transabled" experience some kind of struggles and should be supported to feel comfortable in non harmful ways.

Same goes for the concept of "transracial." There is nothing inherent in our identities that ties us to a specific ethnicity. Ethnicity is primarily based on physical characteristics, and when we place too much emphasis on these features, we risk perpetuating harmful stereotypes and racism. While it's important to acknowledge ethnic identities and the concept of race in order to combat racism and address historical inequalities, the idea of "transracial" suggests that ethnicity is a definite and personal identity in the same way that gender identity is. This isn't the case.

It’s absolutely okay to feel a connection to a culture outside of the one you grew up in. It’s also okay to wish you looked different or identify with aspects of a culture that isn't your own. However, these experiences should not be conflated with being "transracial." Being trans is about being a gender different from what you were assigned at birth, whereas ethnicity is tied to ancestral and cultural heritage, which cannot be different in the same way.

Beyond that, calling a feeling of wanting or believing you were meant to be something you are not “trans” is transphobic. Trans people don’t feel like they were “supposed” to be another gender, they ARE that gender. Many transid identities reduce conditions that aren’t social constructs to being solely identity-based, they are not.

I believe it’s fine to feel this kind of disconnection, and even dysphoria, and I don’t think we should police identities. However, it’s crucial to be mindful of how we name, communicate, and express certain identities, especially when they intersect with marginalized experiences.

I do believe that the feelings behind these identities are real. I support these feelings and identities, but I do not support the terms used in radqueer spaces to describe them. They misunderstand and misuse what being transgender is and dismiss the lived experiences of disabled people, racial minorities, and age-based struggles. Language matters, and using "trans-" in these contexts is both harmful and misleading. Being transgender is not about transitioning to something, being meant to be something, or relating to something, it is who you are.

I know that dysphoria can be more than gender dysphoria, I know things like age dysphoria exist and they definately are valid but having dysphoria is not the same as being trans, those are two different things. These feelings are valid, but the words used to describe them should not invalidate or appropriate marginalized identities. There are already alternative terms that avoid harm. For example, "Chronosian" describes the experience some "transage" individuals feel without misusing the term "trans." Finding new, respectful language is possible, and I think it’s an important step forward.

Another topic is being alterhuman or nonhuman. I fully support any alterhuman and nonhuman identities I myself am alterhuman, I know species dysphoria and phantom limbs are real as I do experience them myself. I don't think that alterhumanity itself is LGBTQIA+ but I do believe they belong to pride since I view pride as more than LGBTQIA+ pride but more on that later.

Now about paraphilias. As my username implies and my bio shows I am an anti-abuse paraphilic, I coined the term anti-abuse and it is linked here. Paraphilias are not something a person chooses, and simply having one does not make someone a bad person. However, what truly matters is how a person acts on their paraphilia.

For example, it is a wrong but widely spread stand that all pedophiles are monsters, which isn't true. They did not ask for or choose their attraction, what does matter is how they handle their attraction. It is never okay to engage with children on a sexual level because they don't understand the full meaning and consequences of sexuality plus adults have a certain power over kids which makes that an unhealthy power dynamic, either way: children can't consent. But many people with minor-related paraphilias hate themselves for their attraction, struggling with deep shame, depression, or even suicidal thoughts because on the one side they know that acting on their attraction would cause harm and on the other side society calling them predators and monsters for just having attraction they didn't ask for. I believe that, as a society, we should work on destigmatizing paraphilias themselves while maintaining clear boundaries that acting in ways that cause harm is unacceptable. People cannot control what they are attracted to, but they can control their actions.

Currently, the term "pedophilia" is often used as a catch-all for attraction to minors, but technically, it refers only to prepubescent children. Other terms like Infantophilia (attraction towards babies), Nepiophilia (attraction towards toddlers), hebephilia (attraction to early pubescent minors) and ephebophilia (attraction to mid-to-late adolescents) exist, but there isn't a widely used neutral term to describe all paraphilias related to minors. Because of this, I propose the term "minophilia" (I will maybe make a seperate post about it and if I did I will link it here) as an umbrella term to describe these attractions in a neutral way since the connotations of "MAP" can be seen as wanting to get rid of the paraphilia label or even glorifying attraction towards minors. Rather than doing that Paraphilias should be destigmatised and there should be a lot mor of education, we need to have open, informed discussions about these topics to prevent harm rather than driving people into isolation and self-hatred. Education and support for non-abusive individuals can reduce risks and help ensure that no one is harmed.

Paraphilias should not be included under LGBTQIA+, however they should be recognised as a marginalised group and do belong (under certain conditions) at pride in the same way as kink belongs at pride.

In conclusion, my stance is that we should focus on supporting people with non-harmful identities and attractions, while also making it clear that harmful behaviors, such as abusing or exploiting others, trivializing others struggles or misu´sing certain language in ways that cause harm, are never acceptable. Destigmatizing these topics and creating open, empathetic conversations is essential for promoting education, understanding, and mental well-being. Let’s work together to build a society that addresses these sensitive issues with care and responsibility, while ensuring the safety and dignity of all people. The "Radqueer" movement is not the answer. It is an attempt to talk about real experiences but does so in a way that causes mor harm than good.

I am open to any opinion and I will read all answers. I hope what I wrote is clear and doesn't offend anyone but rather gives a new perspective on how names and actions affect others.

Plushophilia

this flag is for those who are anti-abuse Plushophilia is the attraction towards plushies can be acted on without any restrictions within the anti-abuse stance, this flag just means one generally is anti-abuse either within their own other paraphilias or just generally as a stance on the contact debate.

Autoplushophilia

this flag is for those who are anti-abuse

Autoplushophilia is a paraphilia where one experiences arousal from imagining themself as a plushie. This can be either through fantasy or costumes and roleplay.

note: the word "partner" in the flag meaning refers to people one engages with on that level, that doesn't need to be a partner in a romantic sense.

anti-abuse autosomnophilia

anti-abuse somnophilia

the anti-abuse stance on somnophilia allows to only engage in consensual activity with sleeping partners, this has to be explicitly be talked about. A sleeping person can't consent in that moment so it is necessary to get the consent beforehand. When it comes to things like sleep play and somnophilia informed consent and clear communication are a must because anything else would be abuse.

Some anti-abuse paraphilia flags Autozoophilia

! not to be confused with zoophilia, those are two different things !

This flag is only for those who are anti-abuse

Autozoophilia is when one gets arroused by the idea of being a non-human Animal in a (sexual) relationship. This can be acted on through roleplay (such as pet-play), with costumes or through fantasy and fiction. It may or may not be connected to alterhumanity

Vegan Anti-Abuse Zoophilia

this specific flag is for anti-abuse zoophiles who see them being vegan as a part of being loving, compassionate and non-abusive towards animals since the animal-industry, no matter if meat-, dairy- or eggindustrie as highly abusive towards animals. In the animal industrie animals are regularly r@ped and forcefully impragnated, suffer their whole life just to be killed in the end. And this isn't just the case for meat production, dairy and eggs are just as bad. Animals shouldn't be treated this bad just because they're not human, animals deserve to live a life free from abuse of any form.
