In the Walls: Part 14
Word Count: 1,761
Been a while. Sorry about that loves, it's been a tough few weeks for me and I'm struggling to write much. My sweet pup crossed the rainbow bridge and I'm still getting over the sudden loss. Hopefully I've managed to write something at least okay. Thank you for reading
-----------
You can't help the gasp that escapes you when you hear Moon’s stomach hatch close, leaving you in complete darkness aside from the occasional small lights on the different mechanisms that make up the animatronic. Your heart sinks. Had Moon intentionally trapped you in here? Was he planning on harming or even killing you? Your heart begins to hammer in your chest as you run over to where you know the opening used to be, beginning to bang on it to try and get the animatronic to let you out. Much to your dismay, he doesn't.
Moon can of course feel you banging on his insides, but has no intention of revealing your rather vulnerable self to the obviously malicious new guest that's wandered into the daycare. All three animatronics watch the white colored bunny like a hawk as she skips over to them, only pausing to wave creepily at them with her free hand. The knife in her other hand shows Moon that he's made the right choice in hiding you even if he's terrified you. Freddy tries to speak to the rather creepy bunny, but she simply stares at him blankly. Eventually she starts skipping off again, confusing the three animatronics even more.
“What the fuck was that?” Monty says finally, watching the bunny leave through another set of doors on the other side of the daycare.
“I-I do not know…..but I believe we should keep an eye on them. They do not seem to have the best intentions.” Freddy replies deciding to disregard his need to correct the swearing for now, and looking back at Moon. He quickly notices the nighttime animatronic has closed his stomach hatch to shield the precious cargo inside. He's grateful, but aware you're probably freaking out in there. “It should be safe to let them out now Moondrop.” The moon animatronic does just that, unfortunately leading to your small form falling forward and out due to you continuing to bang on the door to his stomach hatch. Thankfully he anticipates this and easily catches you in his hand. Once you have your wits about you again you unfortunately begin to panic, realizing whose hand you're in and expecting the worst after the sudden trapping.
“Easy starlight. I'd rather you didn't break any other limbs.” Moon says, glancing down at you. You avoid looking up at him and try to breathe through the pretty much immediate fear you're feeling.
“Apologies superstar, we didn't want the rabbit to see you.” Freddy explains, making you look up at him with confusion, an eyebrow raised. Rabbit? You'd never seen a rabbit animatronic around here in the time you'd been living in the pizzaplex. All you'd seen was drawings and mentions of Bonnie, who seemed to be a rabbit animatronic that was here at one point.
“W-What d-do you mean?.....th-theres no rabbits here….” You ask, voice trembling a bit from the fear throughout the whole situation. Freddy gets a sort of far away look in his eyes for a moment before recovering and responding to your statement, shaking his head.
“No. Not anymore. We aren't sure who that rabbit is or why they're here. I feel as though it may have something to do with the obvious attempts at hacking myself and the others however. They didn't try to attack any of us, but we should try to be cautious regardless and hide you when we can little superstar.” Freddy informs, thinking back to the knife in the white rabbits hand. Monty watches all of the exits around them for any sign the rabbit may be coming back. “Did you notice anything odd while you were in there little one?” Freddy asks, prompting you to hesitantly glance up at him and shake your head no. “Hm….well maybe Moondrop was right before. However it might be best to at least check Sundrop and make sure the device isn't hidden when you're out Moondrop.” The bear suggests, making Moon roll his eyes, resigned.
“Alright.” The moon animatronic states, putting out his hand to deposit you into Freddy's, who easily catches you without a second thought. You aren't exactly a fan of how roughly you're being treated but don't have much time to dwell on that before Monty turns on the lights in the daycare and Moondrop begins shifting in front of your very eyes. The daycare attendant lets out a few pained noises as the deep blue and white colors shift into a warmer color palette, revealing Sun in just a matter of seconds. You can't help but stare, after all you've never seen anything like this and can't believe what you've just witnessed. As Sun regains control of himself, you grip onto Freddy's thumb anxiously, remembering your first encounter with the sun animatronic from not too long ago. He hasn't hurt you, quite the opposite actually, but his constant and neverending energy was quite frankly terrifying. Plus that unending smile he and Moon both seem to have makes you nervous. Sun seems to have learned from your previous encounter, or he can see what Moon does enough that he makes an effort to tone it down for your sake. The willowy animatronic crouches down so his face is more level with Freddy's hand, making you step back a bit.
“Hello again little sunshine! I apologize for startling you when we first met. You're just so small and adorable I couldn't help introducing myself.” Sunny soothes, trying his best to keep his voice gentle, however unlike him it feels.
“You've met them before?” Monty asks, red optics landing on the slimer frame of the daycare attendant. Monty and Freddy have both seen you running around before of course, and much to your dismay, but they'd never actually interacted until today. Sun looks over at Monty, smiling.
“Yup! They came into the daycare and I spotted them and picked them up. I was just so excited about meeting someone new I didn't think about it scaring them. But I've never seen anyone this small before. They're just so cute I couldn't help it.” Sun replies cheerfully, Monty raising an eyebrow. He clearly didn't harm you during that rather terrifying meeting. After all Freddy had clarified you’d broken your arm while trying to run away from him, which he still feels extremely guilty about.
“Little Y/N is still struggling to be around all of us Sundrop, but they seem to want to help how they can.” Freddy clarifies, making the daycare attendant look up at him and nod.
“I understand. I'm sorry if Moon scared you little Sunshine. I would have come out instead but when the lights go out Moon comes out.” Sunny explains, making you wonder about the mechanics behind that but at the same time making you notice how nervous Sun is about his nighttime counterpart. Based on Freddy and Monty’s reaction to him you can tell by now that Moon isn't well liked and even scares the animatronics which confuses you. Moon hadn't done anything to actually harm you and had actually hid you when the rabbit came in without being asked. He couldn't be that bad if he's that kind even though he's just met you….right?
“I-It's o-okay……h-he didn't do anything wrong.” You reply, confusing both Sun and Moon who can still of course hear and see this whole interaction. The humans that work here and even the animatronics are scared of him but you…..yes you're scared but you're also being understanding and kind which isn't something he's used to. It makes the moon animatronic more curious about you, not that he's going to force himself forward or anything, just that he feels the need to interact with you more and test some things. Sun can't help pausing after hearing your response. He too can't believe you're so calm about this, about meeting Moon. He loves him of course but he seems to be the only one.
“Awe, well I'm glad little sunspot.” Sun responds, still rather dumbfounded but remembering why he shifted into this form in the first place. He stands back to his full height, backing away a bit so he's not looming over you or anything, before opening his stomach hatch and carefully placing his hand up next to Freddy's so you can climb onto it. You hesitate, staring down at his hand and trying to will yourself to climb on. After all Moon seemed to be the most likely to hurt you out of the two of them, but you just couldn't help being nervous. Still, this needs to get done. Mustering as much of your courage as you can you step forward, slowly making your way from the bears hand and onto the slimer hand of the daycare attendant. Sun waits for you to get comfortable before he brings you down level with his open stomach hatch, all the while Freddy and Monty watch anxiously as all of this happens.
“Let me know if you notice anything odd sunshine.” Sunny says gently, watching as you fearfully make your way into his stomach hatch, feeling every trembling touch when you use the walls around you to get your bearings. Much like with Moon though, you don't see anything out of the ordinary, certainly nothing like you'd seen in the others. Like in Moon, there are parts of the other counterpart within Sun’s make up but other than that things appear the same as the others, no added devices or anything.
“I-I don't see anything like the other things…..there's nothing that doesn't seem normal. I-I think Moon was right.” You yell out, earning a smirk from Moon even if no one can see it but Sun.
“Hm…..odd. Are you sure superstar? Nothing at all?” Freddy questions, making you come out towards the front of Sun’s still opened stomach hatch, shaking your head in response.
“No. Nothing. Maybe they're just targeting you, Monty, Chica, and Roxy. You're the main four. If things happen to any of you more people will notice and more things will go wrong.” You suggest, Freddy's face filling with worry at the idea. The four of you really need to get to the bottom of this, fast, before anything worse can happen and cause more chaos. Freddy looks up from you to Sun.
“Sundrop, would you be willing to help us get the devices out of Chica and Roxy? I fear if we let this go on for too long then whatever this is will only get worse.”
“I'm always happy to help!”

In the Walls Part 13
Word Count: 2,842
So this one is definitely a lot longer than my usual chapters but I felt like this was the best place to stop so here we go. I hope you guys like how I write the daycare attendant, they're a bit difficult for me. Anyway, enjoy!
---------
After Freddy manages to find Monty and your rather frightened self in the tunnels, the bear begins leading both of you down multiple different tunnels, seeming to know exactly where he's going and how to get out.
“So how exactly did you know where to find us Fazbear? Ain't like that damned tunnel is on any of our maps.” Monty asks, albeit rather coarsely, as the three of you finally exit the dark and rather terrifying tunnels you'd found yourselves trapped in. Freddy pauses, tilting his head to the side when he looks at Monty, expression rather confused. Had he known what sort of reaction his words would have caused he may not have answered.
“But we do have access to it Montgomery……wait….can you not see it?” The bear asks, clearly worried about the reply he's going to get. You look up between the two of them, back to towering over you unintentionally apparently. Monty growls, glaring at Freddy and making you flinch in the process.
“So, what of it Fazfuck?” Freddy tenses at the nickname and resists the urge to try and get you out of Monty’s hand. Even if the gator has been extremely careful with you up until this point it still makes the bear nervous having you be in his hands when he seems to be getting angry.
“N-Nothing Montgomery. Let's just try to focus on assisting the daycare attendant. Are you still alright with that little superstar?” Freddy shys away from the subject, not wanting to irritate the gator further, before looking down at you. Monty fights the urge to storm off like he usually does, needing a moment to cool off. If Fazbear has those tunnels on his maps, tunnels specifically designed to be used by staff in the event of animatronic related emergencies, because come on who the heck builds those doors to withstand even Monty's claws if it's not meant to defend against them, that means they see him as a threat. Of course the gator already knows that. The way they all flinch if he moves too fast or intentionally avoid him in the halls, it's hard for him not to notice. What hurts the most and what sets him off is that him not having the maps but them giving them to another animatronic means it's him they specifically expect to someday go rogue and hurt someone. He hates that he cares so much about what everyone thinks of him but can't help the hurt he feels at that revelation. And of course it's perfect fucking Freddy that's given access to what they don't trust him with.
You nod in response to Freddy's question, smiling up at him. Your smile drops when you look up to check on Monty though. The poor gator seems to be going through a whirlwind of emotions and you don't know how to help him. So you do the only thing you can really think to do, you go over to his thumb and, though hesitant, you manage to give it a sort of hug. Yeah it's a bit tense and awkward considering how nervous you are around him and you being too small to give him a real hug but you're trying your best. As soon as he feels you move against his thumb the gator snaps out of it, blinking in surprise at the sight he finds. It's almost like you're trying your best to comfort him and your little smile confirms it for him. As gently and carefully as he can manage the gator brings his free hand up to you, extending a finger and using it to pet you.
Freddy had started walking ahead of the two of you to head towards the daycare, figuring Monty would simply follow him in silence. When the bear doesn't hear him following him though he pauses, smiling warmly at what he sees when he turns back to face the two of you. Of course he's seen the gator do things similar to this with kids, but it's somehow even cuter to him when it's being done to someone as small as you are. He decides to stay quiet, letting you two have this little moment, grateful you thought to try to actually help him. The bear wishes he could do it himself but knows how much Monty would hate that. After all, any affection he tries to show tends to simply anger the gator more. Monty does unfortunately notice him staring eventually though, immediately stopping what he's doing and looking away. Freddy gives an empathetic look to the both of you before turning around and once again heading towards the daycare. This time however, he hears the familiar thudding of Monty's heavy footfalls following behind him.
—------
It doesn't take long for the three of you to get to the daycare, Monty staying quiet and following behind Freddy with you still in his hand. The two of them are constantly on alert though, checking to see where the other two stars are to make sure they don't go after either of them or most of all you.
Once the three of you go through the front doors to the daycare, walking into a sort of lobby like area with a statue of moon and sun, which you can't stop staring at, Freddy pauses as if something's wrong. Monty almost runs into him, growling in irritation and very much about to give the bear a piece of his mind until he notices too, following where the bear is now pointing to. The lights are out in the daycare, meaning Moon is the one who's out. Come to think of it all of you can hear his low cackling from here. Your heart skips a beat and you immediately grip onto Monty's thumb. Yeah the gator may still scare you but at least he's not actually tried to hurt you. Technically the daycare attendant didn't either but something about the way the other two animatronics tense up tells you, you have a reason to be scared.
Ever selfless, Freddy is the first to step forward, knowing Monty can protect you if something happens to him. You fight the urge to tell him to stay with the two of you but the fear you're feeling has all but silenced you.
“Moondrop? It is Freddy. Montgomery and I would like to speak with you.” Freddy says hesitantly, moving into the darkness of the daycare where only the glow of his optics lights the way. Moon hangs down from the ceiling almost immediately, red eyes glowing ominously in the darkness around him. Freddy flinches from his sudden appearance, but the Moon animatronic simply seems bored of the reaction. Like Monty, Moon is also a less beloved and often feared animatronic, even by the other animatronics themselves.
“What could you possibly want Fazbear….hmm…..it seems you've finally managed to capture that naughty little thing who's been sneaking around.” Moon says, voice raspy in contrast with the relative gentleness of the Sun animatronics voice earlier. They do sound very similar to you though, which confuses you. You don't have time to dwell on that however, hearing yourself be mentioned and noticing the glowing red eyes of the moon animatronic land on you. You stare, wide eyed and shaking, at the terrifying spider like animatronic before you. Monty holds you close and Freddy moves between you and Moon to stop him looking at you.
“Leave them be. They've done nothing wrong.” Freddy says sternly, making Moon roll his eyes in annoyance. “Have you seen how the others have been acting?” Moon raises an eyebrow, of course he has and Freddy should know that. The moon animatronic basically acts as another security guard once the place is closed at night, patrolling every hour. Freddy pinches the area between his eyes in irritation. Of course he's seen them, why'd he feel the need to ask that. Moon always made the bear more anxious than normal and now with you here for him to protect on top of that he's struggling to actually maintain a good train of thought. “We believe it's being caused by a virus uploaded through an unauthorized part. Y/N found them inside mine and Montgomery’s stomach hatch. When removed the glitches in our systems disappeared and we returned to normal. Chica and Roxy have lacked any moments of clarity or control but Y/N mentioned Sun had control when they interacted. You appear to as well. If you would allow it, Y/N can check and see if you have the same unauthorized part and you or Sun can help us hold down Chica and Roxy so Y/N can find the part in them as well.” Freddy explains, Moon looks rather skeptical. Though, through his combined memories with Sun he is able to see their initial interaction. The tiny being seemed terrified, just as terrified as they seem now.
“I’m not fond of the idea of them rummaging around in our systems.” Moon says, Sun immediately talking to him in their sort of collective consciousness. ‘Come on Moon, that sweet little sunshine is only trying to help! The little thing seems terrified and it's probably taken a lot of bravery for them to even offer!’ His sun counterpart presses, making him sigh.
“Be glad they're even willing to help at all.” Monty growls, holding you close and shielding you from the world with his free hand. It makes you flinch but at the same time you're grateful for the sentiment. Monty figures it's a better response than him holding you in his mouth like his random alligator code is telling him to do. Freddy moves between Monty and Moon, glancing between them and trying to figure out how to keep the piece.
“Montgomery please stay calm. You were hesitant at first too.” Freddy scolds, making Monty shoot a growl in his direction too. The bear lets it roll off and turns to look at Moon. “And Moon please understand that the little superstar only wants to help. They're terrified of doing any of this and are only helping because they care. I was unable to locate the device in Montgomery on my own. Only Y/N seems to be able to get to the areas they're hidden.”
Moon grumbles in irritation before sighing. “Your friend can probably see the part because it was put in a place where other animatronics and staff wouldn't be able to locate it. Sun and I have so far experienced no malfunctions, however you are still welcome to check.” Freddy lights up at that, smiling happily at the Moon animatronic. He honestly didn't expect him to say yes but is definitely grateful, mostly because he doesn't want Moon or Sun to have to go through what he and Monty did, even if they seem to believe they're having no malfunctions. Monty continues watching Moon like a hawk, hiding you from view and not liking how much all of this is scaring you.
“Thank you Moondrop!” Freddy replies with his usual enthusiasm. Moon rolls his eyes in response. He's rather used to the enthusiastic responses and high energy happiness, after all Sun is very much like Freddy in that way if not more so, doesn't mean it's any less annoying to him sometimes though. Freddy cautiously approaches Monty, putting out a hand to let you climb from Monty's hand to his. The gator continues covering you with his free hand and doesn't seem to want to let you crawl over to Freddy. You just seem so scared by all of this and the gator’s sensors see you as a kid due to your size so his protectiveness goes into overdrive. “Montgomery…..I promise they will be okay. Moondrop will not harm them.” The bear soothes, Monty fights the urge to snap at him, choosing to glare at him instead. “I know you are worried for them superstar but they didn't react well to the idea of helping you either.” Monty pauses at that, glancing down at you. What Freddy says is very true and he knows that's. Heck you still flinch if he moves too fast or touches you with his free hand. Eventually the gator sighs, a bit of an odd sound considering these things don't exactly need to breathe.
“Fine.” He says simply, moving his free hand and revealing your rather anxious form to Freddy. The bear bends down a bit so he's not looming over you so much, for that you're extremely grateful. His hand stays out near Monty's and he waits patiently for you to climb onto it. Seeing you hesitate prompts a bit more of his signature praise.
“It's going to be alright little superstar, I know you can do this. Montgomery and I believe in you.” Freddy says, voice gentle as ever. ‘And I do too!’ screams Sun through his and Moons shared consciousness. He pushes the Moon animatronic to say it out loud to encourage the sweet little thing but he simply stays quiet. After taking a few deep breaths to calm yourself down as much as possible you stand, shakily and nervously, before slowly making your way onto the papa bears hand. Freddy smiles happily at your efforts. “You're doing great little one.”
Once you're on his hand, Freddy carefully turns and walks over to Moondrop, Monty watching all of this rather anxiously from the sidelines. The gator may just be a robot but some of his programmed protectiveness is making all of this more difficult for him to deal with. Once Freddy brings you okay to Moon you pause, holding onto one of Freddy's fingers anxiously, not caring about how close you are to his claws. At the moment the Moon animatronic in front of you is the main thing you're worried about. Moon regards you with an unreadable expression, something that's pretty standard for him. However underneath that mask he can't help being curious about you. Seeing as he's a sort of security guard for the place at night he's seen you running around in different parts of the pizzaplex, stealing things and running frightened from any and all staff and guests. It's for that reason he never confronted you, deciding instead to simply observe you from the sidelines to see what you do. Now that you're actually in front of him he wants to know what exactly you are, and stars what happened to your little arm? He knows Freddy would never intentionally cause harm, he wouldn't put it past Monty but you seem too trusting of the gator for him to have been the culprit. Realizing he's been lost in thought for too long, Moon eventually opens his stomach hatch. It's a lot smaller than Monty or Freddy due to his slimer design but you can definitely still fit in there, even if you'd rather not.
“Alright superstar, it's the same as with myself and Montgomery. If you notice anything not matching Moon’s color scheme or any devices that seem out of place, simply touch them so Moon can get them out.” Freddy guides as you nod in response before waiting anxiously for the bear to put you up to Moons open stomach hatch. Once Freddy puts his hand level with it you hesitantly step into the smaller cavity. Moons mechanics are quite different from Monty and Freddy's. You can see clear evidence of Suns lighter colored parts amongst the darker ones. Moon watches you step in and tries not to dwell on the idea that you're messing around in his insides. Sun comments on how much it tickles and coos over how adorable you are, Moon has to fight the urge to roll his eyes.
It doesn't take you long to check Moon over, managing to check out some of Suns mechanics as well just to make sure. The kicker is, you don't see anything like what was in Freddy or Monty. Maybe Moon was right and there really wasn't anything in him or Sun. But why go after the other animatronics and not the daycare attendant? Maybe because he wasn't one of the main stars?
“I-I d-don't see anything…..th-theres nothing like what was in you or Monty.” You shout, unable to keep the anxious stuttering out of your voice. Freddy tilts his head, bending so he can look into the stomach hatch a bit himself, glowing white eyes landing on your small form rather quickly. He doesn't seem to spot much of anything either.
“Hm…..Moondrop, is there any way it could be something only attached to Sundrop?” Freddy asks, looking up at the other from his bent position in front of his open stomach hatch.
“No. Not that I–” Moon is cut off by the sound of the doors to the daycare swinging open and a certain menacing white bunny carrying a knife. He quickly closes his stomach hatch to hide you from sight while the other two animatronics straighten up and turn to look at the odd new guest.

1 part
Next
I'm planning a few more parts of their first meeting.
and now I want to explain some points:
1)Bennett named the spider "Buggy" because it is the name of a character from the cartoon "fixies"(In the English dubbing, in Russian her name is Zhuchka). The cartoon, by the way, is related to g/t
2)When Bennett talked about brownies, he meant domovoy .But since most of you probably don't know anything about Slavic mythology, I've replaced that word.In general, a domovoy is such a "house spirit", a little guy who can protect the house or mess up.(Don't be intimidated by the wikipedia image, I do not know why the domovoy on wikipedia is so scary lol💀💥)

In the Walls Part 12
Word Count: 1,544
Was definitely on a roll with writing today so I managed to get another part to this fic written too. Hope you guys like it!
Oh I'm not sure if I've ever said this but I also post on A03 if you guys want to follow me there!
------------
After being unceremoniously tossed around like a salad in Monty's stomach hatch, said tossing only really stopping when you finally managed to grab onto his endoskeleton and pull yourself into a corner where you could actually keep yourself more or less on the ground, Monty eventually makes it into a nearby security office. The large metal doors on either side of the gator slamming shut once the two of you enter. You flinch at the rather loud noise and flinch again when the stomach hatch opens soon after.
“Alright Cher, we should be safe in here. Even I can't get through those doors.” Monty explains, bringing a yellow and green hand down palm up for you to climb into it. Pulling yourself up using the metal endoskeleton inside your friend, making the gator a bit anxious in the process, you eventually make your way over to his open palm and climb in. You're careful of his claws and specifically avoid getting too close to them before glancing up at the gator who seemed to be watching you.
“W-Where are we?” You ask, peaking out at the room around you from the safety of the gators palm.
“It's one of the security offices the staff use. Meant to protect them if things go haywire ‘round here.” Monty explains, glancing around the room with that ruby red gaze of his. Eventually his eyes land on a monitor that shows him the endoskeletons are at the doors, waiting for them to reopen. He's about to laugh at how stupid they are until you say something that makes him panic.
“C-Can they get in here?”
“Not unless we run out of power.” He replies before glancing over at a nearby power meter and immediately regretting his prior confidence. “Fucks sake. The damn powers only at 25 percent. That ain't gon' last us too long.” The gator says, making your little eyes widen while you do your best not to panic. There's gotta be a way out right? Something, anything! Thankfully before the panic can truly set in the two of you hear Freddy's voice. You keep forgetting they can talk to each other like they have some sort of walkie talkies or something installed.
“Montgomery, are you and Y/N alright? I saw you running from the endoskeletons.”
“Freddy?” You say nervously, looking up at Monty and then around at the monitors to see if you can see the bear, unfortunately there's nothing so far.
“I'm so glad you're okay superstar!” You hear, it seems Monty opened up the communication line so he could hear you.
“H-How did you get away from Roxy?”
“I'll explain later, superstar. Are the two of you okay?” The bear asks worriedly, having heard pounding on the door in the background that makes you jump, whimpering and grabbing one of Monty's fingers without thinking. The alligator brings you closer to his chest on instinct and looks back at the cameras currently on the metal doors.
“No we're definitely not okay Fazfuck. Those damned endos chased us into a security office. The doors are holdin’ but the powers at 23 percent and I ain't seen a single way out that doesn't involve barreling through those bastards.” Monty snaps, moving you against his chest and cupping his hand over you to shield you more. You flinch, not liking being covered by his hand at first but not being out in the open is kinda nice too. Plus you can tell the alligator is being as gentle as he can and trying to calm you down. Freddy is quiet for a moment before replying with a calm, level voice.
“The map says there should be a grate in the middle of the room. It should go down to an escape tunnel. Do you see it?” Monty scans the ground around him, trying to spot the grate he's talking about. It doesn't take long until he spots an old, mostly rusted grate towards the middle of the room just like Freddy had said.
“Yes!” The gator says before going up to it and bending to try and remove it. The rust is unfortunately holding it in place, prompting the gator to try to use both hands to dislodge it. He opens his stomach hatch and gently puts you inside it, figuring you'd likely prefer that to him trying to hold you with his mouth while he forces the grate open. You immediately run to grab onto some of the metal that makes up his endoskeleton to hold yourself in place. Once he closes his stomach hatch to make sure you're safe he grabs the grate with both hands and pulls, grunting from the effort. The whining of metal fills the air and soon the grate comes off, revealing a dark tunnel under it. Monty glances at the charge on the doors, 15 percent. They really need to work on whatever's powering this place if the power drains that quickly. Not knowing how long of a jump this will be, Monty opens his stomach hatch, putting a hand in to signal you to climb on. Having had your eyes closed and gripping onto the nearby metal for dear life you don't see his hand at first, but when he carefully starts to touch you to figure out where you are you open your eyes. Once you figure out what exactly he's wanting you climb into his palm. As sure as the gator feels you sitting in it securely he pulls you out, closing his stomach hatch behind him and holding you close to his chest with both hands to make sure you don't move much when he jumps. Thankfully, the fall isn't all that long and it's relatively easy for him to keep you protected.
“You alright Cher?” You hear him ask, his hand now open and his glowing red eyes on you. You're not a fan of how they glow in the pitch black corridor you've both found yourself in, but you manage a nod. “Freddy, we're in the tunnel. Do you know how to get out of here?” It takes a moment but the bear eventually responds.
“I'm heading there now. Just keep going straight for now. Get away from the office. I think those endoskeletons are attracted to sound.” Freddy explains, making Monty sigh.
“Alright.” He replies, starting to walk straight just as Freddy suggested, the only available light being the odd blood red glow from his eyes. It's eerie to say the least, and too quiet for you to feel safe, eyes darting around as if searching for some sort of specter you expect to pop out at you. You grip onto one of Monty's fingers, trembling. “It's alright ma petite belle, I won't let anythin’ happen to ya.” The gator reassures, voice uncharacteristically gentle. You continue holding onto him as he walks, eventually coming to a fork in the tunnel. A design like this may make sense if you're trying to get away from something pursuing you and confuse them, not so much if you have no idea where you are. Monty tries to pull up a map of this place from the database they all have but can't seem to find any evidence of the tunnels. Why could Freddy see them but not him? Maybe the virus messed with something while the part was still installed? The gator sighs at the thought, looking down at you before speaking.
“Guess we should wait for Fazbear here. Ain't no way a’ knowin’ where these two tunnels go.” He explains, earning a nod from you. It's not like you mind the pause but you don't like being down here in the dark like this. You turn, hiding your face in his chest and trying to take calming breaths. Then, you hear it, the metallic stomps of one of the other animatronics nearby. Your heart sinks, please let this be Freddy. Monty looks around, putting his free hand over you protectively and watching the tunnels for any lights or anything that might tell him what he's dealing with. Once the stomping gets closer he sees a glowing set of white lights coming down the tunnel. The gator tenses, on edge from everything that's happened tonight and not willing to risk letting you get hurt. When whoever it is seems to spot him he tenses and they stop dead in their tracks.
“Montgomery? Please tell me that's you.”
“Freddy?” Relief washes over the bears features and he quickly goes up to the gator, gently hugging him while avoiding pushing against his hands, figuring that's where you're hiding.
“Montgomery I'm so glad you're both safe. When I saw your eyes and you stopped I was worried you were an endoskeleton.” The bear says, continuing to hug him. Eventually the gator has had enough and pushes him off of him.
“Yeah yeah, whatever Fazbear. Now can we just get out of this damned place? Makes my skin crawl and it's freakin’ the little one out.” He says, moving his hand so Freddy can see your trembling form. The bear nods, wanting to get as far away from the endoskeletons as possible. With that the two animatronics start walking, Freddy leading the way and carefully guiding all of you out.

Mechanic Y/N Part 3
Word Count: 1,744
I know it's been a minute since I wrote more of this one but someone asked for it by name and I'd honestly forgotten about it until then. Anyway I hope to write a bit more of this (probably nothing super plot heavy, just Y/N slowly getting over their fears), so we'll see how it goes. Hope you guys like it!
------------
Even though there were a few hiccups along the way, you and Chica were having a blast! At first it was hard for you to be too close to her and if she moved too fast you'd flinch. Eventually though, with a chick flick and some popcorn, you'd started to warm up to the chicken. She really is so life-like, laughing at different points, even crying during sad points. The chicken eventually asked if she could maybe braid your hair, saying how pretty she thinks it is and trying to encourage any activity that might end in some exposure therapy. Of course you're hesitant to accept, you already get tense if she gets too close to you, but you know that the whole exposure therapy idea she has is probably the best way to help the fear. Little did you know that Freddy had helped her with the idea after doing research on fears and phobias. He hated the idea of you being that afraid of them and wanted nothing more than to help, Chica thought that was adorable.
When her mechanical hands first touch your hair you flinch, heart rate increasing. The chicken monitors you closely and goes slow, careful not to pull your hair or anything and risk making the fear worse. You'd trusted her enough to let her do this and she wouldn't let that chance go to waste. It takes longer than usual for her to finish the braid because of how slow and careful she's being, the movie the two of you were watching ending before she was even done.
“Tah da!” She says cheerfully, holding a handheld mirror up behind you while you look into the mirror on her vanity. The braid is pretty much flawless and the chicken seems very proud of her work.
“I-It’s beautiful Chica, thank you.”
“No problem sweetheart! Happy to help!” She says happily before putting the mirror back down on her bright pink vanity. “Looks like we should find another movie! Oh and don't worry, I told everyone I needed you for maintenance so you won't get in trouble or anything.” You blink in surprise at that.
“Oh, well, thank you Chica.”
“Oh! And Freddy is wondering if he could possibly watch a movie with us this time. He's really worried about you sugarplum.” Your eyes widen a bit at that and you look away, nervously fiddling with your hands. “I can tell him no if you're not comfortable with it Rock Chick, he won't be mad or anything. Honestly I don't think that teddy bear is capable of it.” Chica reassures, giggling a bit at the last part. It still surprises you the bear actually cares this much about how you see him and about you in general. Of course you're still terrified but being around Chica has helped, even if it's just a little bit.
“O-Okay…..” You say timidly, making the chicken gasp and gently hug you.
“Oh I'm so proud of you sugar!” You flinch at the sudden movement and touch and she backs off once she notices. “Sorry Rock Chick, got a bit carried away. Um….if it's still okay I can message him back and say he can head this way? I'll tell him to keep his distance though so don't worry.” She waits for you to nod in response before sending a message to Freddy through the connection the animatronics seem to share. You're still curious about it but aren't really in the right headspace to ask how it works right now. “Alright sweetie, he says he's on his way. Why don't you pick out another movie while I make more popcorn hm?” The chicken suggests, handing you the remote before walking off to the back area of her green room, pressing a button to open the door. You sit down on the nearby couch, beginning to scroll through a few different names before deciding on Up. It's around this time that the door to Chicas green room opens and reveals a certain orange colored bear. You tense when you realize he's here and there's no Chica here yet to take the pressure of interacting off of you.
“Hey there superstar! Don't worry, you don't have to talk to me. Even letting me come watch a movie with you two is a big step and I'm very proud of you for taking it.” The bear says, voice gentle and face lit up with a smile. You sit in a sort of stunned silence for a moment before managing to nod and look back at the movie. Freddy takes that as his cue to find somewhere to sit. The couch Chica has could easily seat all three of you, Freddy doubts you'll want him that close to you though so he decides to sit on the ground next to the couch on the side opposite you. You watch him out of the corner of your eye, heart practically beating out of your chest once again. It breaks the bears heart that he scares you so much but he knows this is something you have to work through on your own.
“I've got popcorn!” Chica exclaims as she enters, smiling when she sees Freddy. You flinch at the volume of her voice and how sudden her return was but gradually calm back down. The chicken hands a bag of popcorn to Freddy, who happily takes it with a thank you and a happy little ear wiggle. Awe, you didn't know he could do that, that's adorable. Then the chicken comes and sits down next to you on the couch, handing you your own bag before starting to eat hers. You watch curiously, not really thinking about how rude that may be. Chica doesn't seem to mind though.
“Wondering how we can eat Rock Chick? It's okay if you're curious.” She says patiently, making you blush and look away. “Awe, don't be so nervous sugar. We don't mind answering questions, or explaining things. The blue prints don't always tell you everything. Plus you're our mechanic now, it makes sense for you to be curious.” Freddy nods in agreement, smiling warmly to try and help calm you down. Unfortunately for you every time you glance over at him you get another wave of fear after being reminded again of just how big the bear is. The fangs and claws certainly don't help matters either. You're still thankful Chica doesn't have any. “Would it be better if I just explained?” It takes a moment, but you eventually nod.
“Alright, well we each have flavors we like and have sensors on our tongues so we can taste things and feel temperatures. Our throats are a sort of pipe that falls into a stomach like area that can be taken out and dumped and then put back in. I'm the one that eats the most. The others don't usually want to deal with the hassle but I just love food!” Chica explains, saying the last part with a huge smile. You tilt your head at that. These guys really are unlike anything else you've ever worked on.
“W-What’s your favorite flavor?” You eventually ask, Chica and Freddy both smile encouragingly, loving that you're actually talking to them. Or rather you're talking to Chica at the very least.
“Oh, well I love pizza! Pink lemonade is another favorite, like my fizzy faz flavor.” The chicken says before motioning at Freddy. “Freddy's is orange, like his fizzy faz. What's your favorite rock chick?” She asks, turning to look at you again.
“Um…..maybe strawberry? I don't think there's many strawberry flavored things here though.”
“I'm sure there's one or two things! I'll let you know if I find them! I kinda wanna try them myself now.” Chica replies with a giggle, before looking at the TV screen in front of them and seeing what movie you've chosen. “Oh I love this one! The beginning is kinda sad but it's such a cute movie.” She says happily before looking down at Freddy. “Come on Fred, there's some room next to me if you wanna sit on the couch!” The bear hesitates, blue eyes landing on you as if asking for your permission, before he looks back at Chica.
“I'd love to superstar, but I don't want to cause Y/N any unnecessary stress.” Freddy's reply catches you off guard, having not expected him to actually care so much about your well-being.
“Oh that's right, I'm sorry sugar I forgot that might not be the best idea.” Chica replies, looking towards you with genuine sadness. You nervously mess with the braid Chica put in earlier, feeling bad for making the bear stay on the floor. He seems rather unbothered by it but that doesn't mean that's actually how he feels underneath that smile of his.
“I-I’m sorry.” You manage, looking away while continuing to mess with the braid.
“Please don't apologize superstar, you've done nothing wrong. I'll be perfectly fine down here. Your comfort is more important.” What the bear says catches you off guard and you turn to look at him, blushing a bit with wide eyes before looking away again.
“I-I um….thank you.”
“Of course superstar!”
And with that Chica grabs the remote and starts the movie. You all sit in a comfortable silence despite you still feeling a bit guilty about being the reason Freddy decided to stay on the ground. He doesn't seem to mind though, blue eyes on the movie until the occasional commentary from Chica is heard. The bubbly bird just couldn't help herself, sharing how much she loves certain characters or loves certain moments. Freddy and her even cry through the opening part about Carl and Ellie's life together, surprising you. They can cry, they can eat, they can feel, what else could these beings do? Once the movie is over you notice it's almost time for your shift to end. Chica and Freddy are sad to see you go, the chicken happily giving you a big hug and begging to do something like this again sometime, maybe even a sleepover! Freddy waves goodbye with his signature smile lighting up his face, thanking you both for inviting him and thanking you for being comfortable enough to let him join. Once you're out of the pizzaplex and back home you can't help laying awake that night, thoughts of the two of them filling your head until you eventually drift off.

In the Walls: Part 11
Word count: 1,265
-------
The two of you had been walking for what felt like hours, though in all actuality it had only been about 10 minutes. Lost in your worry for your valiant protector who's likely currently fighting off a rather enraged wolf, you don't notice Monty glancing down at you every few minutes or so. The gator does everything he can not to move too fast or move his fingers at all and risk scaring you. He knows how you see him, a monster hell bent on attacking you when you aren't looking, like the humans he's constantly around. Even some of the kids seem to see him that way and it unfortunately really gets to him. Regardless he wants nothing more than to prove all of that wrong and show you that you can trust him.
“So how long ya been hangin’ out in the walls here Cher?” The gators rumbling voice snaps you out of your thoughts and you glance up at him anxiously. Normally this isn't exactly a line of questioning you'd entertain, granted you've never really been asked it before by any of the larger beings, but it didn't make it any less difficult for you to talk about without your parents one rule cropping up in your head. Don't get caught, and if you do, don't talk to anyone. You bite your lip, thinking of how to approach this but coming up empty.
“I'll take that as a no thank you for that subject then pipsqueak. Ya don't have ta talk about it if ya don't want to. But I've been seein’ ya around off and on for a year now. Thought my processors were shot or somethin’.” The gator continues, making your anxiety rise again at first. After all being caught is the one thing you're not supposed to let happen, but if he knew about you this long just like Freddy had……damn you needed to be more careful. You don't realize you've taken quite a long time to reply again until the gator once again speaks instead, seeming to take your silence as a sort of answer.
“Alright darlin’, ya don't gotta talk to me if ya don't want to.” He states, not intending to make you feel bad but you certainly do. After all, he hasn't hurt you so far. Yeah he's scary but quite frankly he literally saved your life back there.
“I-I’m s-sorry…..I-I’m n-not trying to be mean…..I-It's just that being seen at all is a death sentence for any borrower. N-Now both you and Freddy have said you've seen me before….” You reply nervously, looking anywhere but at the gators face.
“Well we ain't gonna do anythin’ to ya Cher. I get why yer so nervous about it though.” Covering your face with your hands at that, you let out a sigh.
“Th-The issue is I got caught. Y-You two weren't supposed to see me at all….I can't keep making mistakes like that.”
“Cher, mistakes are normal. Ya can't beat yourself up over every single one you make. Ain't healthy. Humans make them, we make them, and I'm sure other borrowers do too. It's just a part of existing.” The gator keeps his bright red eyes on your small frame as he says this, taking a moment away from his usual scanning for any sort of threat around the two of you. Freddy would never let him live it down if you got hurt after all.
You shake your head, pulling your knees to your chest and burying your face in your legs. “I-I can't just make mistakes. They'll get me killed.”
“Not while I'm around they won't. And ya need to give yourself some credit at least. Ain't like ya went out in the open carelessly or tried to put yourself in harm's way.” He reassures, earning a sigh from you.
“N-No….I-I’m still just stunned no one has hurt me so far.”
Before the gator can reply to your statement, you being to hear what sounds like other animatronics walking around nearby, cold metal clanging against the concrete floor with every step. Monty immediately scans around him, moving into the shadows to try and avoid detection. It takes a few horribly long, dragging minutes to see what new opponent could possibly be making their way to the two of you, and what you see surprised you. Odd metal beings, their glowing red eyes reminding you of Monty’s, stare at the two of you despite the cover of darkness that consumes both you and them. The metal beings are as big as the animatronics you'd been around lately but they were different in most other ways. No colorful shells to distinguish them, no personality or life, and those terrifying eyes lacked the emotion that even Monty's terrifying eyes showed.
Monty scans the beings, trying to figure out what they are and why they're down here. It doesn't take him long to process the results. Endoskeletons. Just like the ones in himself and all of the other animatronics. He can't stop staring at them. Is this really what he is on the inside? Is this really all he amounts to? He shouldn't be as hurt by that idea as he is. Thankfully your familiar voice snaps him out of his little existential crisis.
“M-Monty…..w-what a-are those?” You manage, voice trembling with fear while your eyes never leave the cold metal monsters in front of you. Monty continues to stare himself, something telling him that looking away would be a rather grave mistake even if he's not sure why.
“When I scanned em’ it said they're endoskeletons.” He informs, red gaze never leaving them.
“W-Wait….L-Like the things y-you and Freddy have in you? Wh-What I saw when I was getting that thing out of you?” Monty nods in response, still staring straight ahead. “A-Are th-they going to come after us too?” You ask, staring the strange beings down just like Monty. It seemed you both had the same instinct.
“I-I don't know Cher. Something tells me they might.” Comes the gators reply, making you glance up at him. You don't feel completely safe around the gator yet but you know you're safer with him than anywhere near those endoskeletons, so you gently grab his thumb to steady yourself, making him look down at you in confusion. This releases the monsters from their frozen state and the sound of their mechanical movement can be heard coming towards the two of you. Thinking fast the gator opens his stomach hatch and carefully deposits your rather panicked little self inside. As soon as he looks back at the endoskeletons however, they stop. Huh. Odd. Wanting to test something the gator looks away again, hearing the metal beings move again until he looks back at them again. Blinking in surprise he keeps his ruby colored stare on them for now.
“I don't think they can move when ya look at em’.” The gator's voice rumbles from the voice box above your head. You flinch at the new stimulus and put a hand out to steady and ground yourself before you pass out from the full on panic attack you're having. You feel like you can't breathe….but maybe that's just because you're in Monty’s stomach hatch. The gator in question can feel you moving around and tenses when he feels you touching his endoskeleton. This sensation will literally never get less startling. “Try to be careful in there ma petite belle. I'll get us outta here.” And with that the gator breaks out into a run.

In the Walls: Part 10
Word Count: 1,790
TW: Slight panic attack for the reader
-----------
You, Freddy, and Monty had been sitting in the stars greenroom for quite a long while now, trying desperately to come up with an idea that could actually work. Well the animatronics were, in your case you're still a bit too afraid to piss off a certain gator to really say no to any plans. Thankfully Freddy immediately shoots down anything that could possibly end in you getting hurt, but unfortunately that doesn't exactly leave the three of you with many options. Chica and Roxy hadn't shown any signs of coming out of the controlled daze they seemed to be in which was going to make things a lot more difficult. You're well aware that if Monty had lost control while you were in him things definitely wouldn't have gone so smoothly.
“Well fuck Fazbear, I'm all out of ideas. Ya shoot down just about anything I come up with. How the hell am I supposed ta help ya if you won't even consider my ideas?” Monty states, a growl to his voice that makes you tense and move closer to Freddy. The gator of course notices you doing this but doesn't have the energy to be careful what he says or does around you at the moment. After all you jump if he so much as moves too fast so there's really no point in fighting it or controlling it.
“Montgomery I refuse to do anything that might cause Y/N more harm than they’ve already experienced tonight. The poor thing broke their arm running from us and I'm not having them break the other trying to help us. We'll just have to figure out something that doesn't put them in harms way.” Freddy snaps, clearly unwilling to budge on ensuring your safety. The big papa bear already feels bad for you having tried to run and ending up with a broken arm somehow and he won't have you hurt again on his watch, especially after he lost control not too long ago and hurt you again then. Nothing is worth risking your life, but you know you might have to if the three of you have any hope of actually helping the others.
Monty hisses in displeasure, not at anyone in particular but just at the entire situation. The rather unexpected noise causes you to flinch, letting out a short noise of surprise in the process. You didn't know he could actually do the vocals alligators make though it does make sense for him to be able to. Monty goes to try and yell at Freddy, who he's taken to calling Fazfuck lately when he pisses him off, much to the bears displeasure, before you speak up again.
“W-Wait….. M-Maybe I-If we try to help the daycare guy first? Y-You s-said he could use cables to fly around and move in ways you guys can't…….a-and h-he actually caught me earlier but I ran away. H-He seemed n-normal….l-like you too are….o-or like he at least has points where he is.” You explain, Freddy turning to look down at you. Geez you wish they weren't so big, always towering over you no matter what you do. It's hard to even talk with them constantly doing that.
“Sundrop and Moondrop may be able to help us pin the others so we can shut them down and try to get the malware out. Are you sure they seemed normal superstar?” Freddy asks, causing you to blink in surprise. Sundrop and Moondrop? There's more than one? You'd only ever seen the sun animatronic and he seemed…..as normal as someone like him could be you figured. Eventually you nod in response, figuring you'll find out who this Moondrop was eventually. You're not exactly thrilled to go interact with the terrifying sun animatronic again, but at this point you wanted to help the others like you'd helped Monty and Freddy. After all you can only imagine how scary it must be to have full control of yourself one minute and the next be waking up to find you've hurt someone or done something horrible.
“Not that creepy ass daycare attendant. If your little friend is afraid of me I doubt they'll handle those two any better.” Monty grumbles, a clawed hand over his face, pinching between his eyes in irritation. Freddy sighs and looks back down at you.
“Are you sure you want to do this superstar?” The bear asks, voice as gentle as ever. You look down for a moment, trying to actually think things through for a moment but only really coming to one conclusion. You don't want to do it but you have to. No one should be forced to do things they don't want to, and now that you know these animatronics are sentient you want to try and help how you can. Eventually you nod in response, the bears face filling with worry but he tries to push the feeling down as best he can. He doesn't want you feeling like he doesn't believe you can do it.
“Damn, didn't expect that pipsqueak.” Monty purrs, making you blush a bit and look away. You're honestly offended at the lack of faith and the nickname but would rather not piss him off. Plus the tone in his voice makes you feel things you're not exactly happy about. Freddy glares daggers at the gator before standing and bringing you close to his chest while you stand on his hand, anxiously gripping one of his fingers while taking care to avoid the sharp claws. Monty takes this as the bear's silent cue that it's time to get going and he too stands, following Freddy as the three of you step out onto rockstar row once again.
The distant voices of the two female animatronics can be heard as the three of you walk, Freddy contemplating putting you in his stomach hatch to avoid anyone seeing you or the three of you getting separated somehow. Unfortunately the calmness wouldn't last long, none of you seeing the very angry wolf animatronic barreling towards Freddy snarling and growling until it's too late. When your valiant protector is hit with the full force of Roxanne Wolf’s angry form you unfortunately end up flying out of his hand with a scream, expecting to hit the ground or a nearby wall and have everything be over in an instant. To your surprise however you land on something hard but it's not followed up by any extreme amount of pain like you figured it would be from you falling from such a great height. Hesitantly you open your eyes, looking around to see what's going on around you. You find yourself in the familiar green hand of a certain gator who seems to have rushed forward to catch you when Freddy was hit.
Freddy, now pushing back against Roxy to avoid her snapping jaw, growls in irritation while continuing his efforts. Monty moves to try to help the bear but he doesn't want to let him, grunting with the effort of trying to keep the wolf from hurting him and trying to speak at the same time but he manages.
“I'll be fine! Just get Y/N somewhere safe!” The bear says, Monty hesitating for a moment before turning and running towards one of the nearby entrances to the underbelly of the pizzaplex. The others can come down here of course but there's multiple places to hide and he can get anywhere in the building he needs to from here on top of that. The gator keeps going until he gets to an offshoot area, hidden in a little corner where a charging pod sits, trying to get you somewhere the other animatronics won't find the two of you so easily. Lost in his need to make sure you're out of harm's way, the gator doesn't notice you're trembling all over and crying until he finally looks down to check on you, finding you curled up in his palm and trying not to panic.
“Ya alright Cher?” The gator asks, bringing his other hand up and gently petting your back to try and calm you down. Unfortunately it just causes you to flinch. “Easy ma petite belle. I ain't gonna hurt ya. I just wanna make sure you're okay.” He says, doing his best to keep his voice low and gentle. Eventually you pull yourself together enough to actually push yourself upright and sit up on his palm. You're rattled and anxious but don't feel any new pain other than where you hit his palm. Though even that isn't enough to do more than leave a bruise. After a few moments you nod in response.
“W-What a-about Freddy? W-Will h-he be okay?” You manage, voice trembling both from crying and from all of the overwhelming events that just happened.
“Course he will Cher. He's tougher than he looks.” The gator assures, though it doesn't really help the mounting anxiety you feel over being separated from Freddy when he's literally being attacked. Then again you'd seen these things lift furniture, and huge parts of the different attractions so they're not lacking in the strength department. Hopefully Freddy is strong enough to get the upper hand and fight the wolf off before she does any real damage. Still, you wouldn't be getting any calmer until you know for sure he's safe.
“W-What d-do we do now?” You ask, hesitantly looking up at the gator who glances around the rather dark area the two of you have found yourself in. You don't like how his bright red eyes glow a bit in the lowlight but try your best to push the fear down. Eventually the gator lets out a sigh and turns down a nearby hallway, the darkness unfortunately just as thick here as it is everywhere else down here it seems, the two of you only occasionally being illuminated by the occasional overhead light.
“Go try and help the daycare attendant I guess. Ain't like we've got much choice in it. I ain't leavin’ you alone down here and Fazbear doesn't want you up there in case he can't fight off Roxy so it seems like all we can do is try and keep going with what we were going to do and hope Freddy catches up.”
You understand, you do, but the urge to fight against leaving the bear behind is something you have to push down hard, knowing you're too small to do much of anything even if you tried. All you can think of is Roxy managing to hurt poor Freddy and him not being able to get back to the two of you. You sigh, looking ahead as Monty walks, dreading what's to come.
