I'm tired of transness being seen as something depressing and oppressing. I hate how much I myself felt that I needed to hate being trans in order to be validated, and how much that feeling was pushed by mainstream media and trans media alike phrasing our entire lives as some massive soulcrushing struggle.

I'm tired of trans joy being underappreciated, about our existence being so dependent on oppression that we insist that we are being oppressed by eachother.

I'm so, so tired of our identity being viewed by the world and ourselves as an issue, as a pity or a problem, I hate those posts about taking pity on transfemmes and those posts vilifying transmascs. I hate the avoidance or ignorance of intersex and enby issues, I hate that we can't seem to accept even eachother yet degrade ourselves to try and make the world accept us. The way we sell pity as our main argument for our support, making our situation seem worse and worse, terrifying and depressing people of our community.

Please, try to find joy in yourself and your identity, focus on the things that make you happy to be trans, find people who make you happy to be trans, Understand that while being trans in our current society might not be easy, being trans as a whole is still a thing of joy and growth. please remember that, don't take this shit from everyone.

I wish there was a way to completely OPT OUT of AI. Like you could set your ENTIRE Internet browser to NOT shove it down your throat.

When social media was getting big, you could just NOT get a Facebook or a Twitter. It was simple as that. You can't do that with AI.

Trying to find a job? It goes straight to an AI filter. Trying to look at art? Here's 100+ ai shit. Trying to look up who was in what movie from the 1980s? GOOGLE GEMINI IS HERE WITH THE COMPLETELY WRONG ANSWER!

I am literally fucking BEGGING you all to also acknowledge the racism behind the terms "non-man" and "non-woman" and how they're used in queer definitions.

Black and Indigenous queer people have literally been talking about this since the definition was COINED but there's literally NO acknowledgement of this when pointing out why "non-men loving non-men" and "non-women loving non-women" are shitty fucking definitions to force on a whole community.

"Nonman" and "nonwoman" are terms that have been historically used to describe the degendering of black people in society. And words can obviously be used to mean different things- we don't have to stop using these terms altogether. But forcing these terms on a whole community of queer people is really fucking antiblack.

Not to mention that it blatantly degenders a lot of 2S lesbians and gays as well. It basically tells them that they can't be 2S and as a lesbian or gay at the same time, because then they would be "contradictory." I seriously hope I don't have to explain how racist it is to exclude a large portion of Two-Spirit people from your queer label because they don't fit into your neat little white gender binary.

Like these definitions aren't bad to use for yourself personally- but stop forcing them on all lesbians/gays. And if you're advocating for why these shouldn't be used as the most prominent definition, PLEASE acknowledge the racism aspect of it.

My name is Enas. I have eight children of varying ages and two grandchildren.

The reality of war, pain, and destruction we have faced daily for nearly two years is indescribable. Before that, we were a normal family, like yours: we worked in various professions (accountant, school guard, nurse, etc.), held social gatherings, and celebrated birthdays. Since then, we have lost everything: our homes, our jobs, our possessions, our family members, and our friends. Our lives are in tatters.

The past three months have been hell. Constant displacement (five times), living in a squalid tent, water scarcity, and unbearable food. We eat at most one meal a day, usually canned beans or rice. The cost of one meal that would suffice for my family for a day is $50, and prices are constantly rising.

Escaping starvation and death seems impossible. The crossing is closed, keeping us trapped in Gaza.

I launched this campaign because it is our only hope for survival until the crossing is finally opened, or, God willing, this war ends and reconstruction begins.

Urgent Appeal from Gaza: Laila and her children without shelter or food

I am Laila, a mother from Gaza, and I come to you today with a heavy heart. I have been displaced for the tenth time, and here I am today in Al-Mawasi, without shelter. Literally, my children and I are on the street.

We don't have a tent to shelter us from the harsh conditions, and we don't even have food to satisfy the hunger of our young children. All we wish for is a safe shelter, a simple tent to protect us from the cold and fear.

Yesterday morning, my husband and one of our neighbors went to get a bag of flour. They found thousands of people there , then it started . The Israeli army started to shoot them randomly while they were trying to escape. Our neighbor was hurt and now he is in the hospital,we don't know what is going to happen with him 😞
