plural acceptance to me looks like the concept of one body being multiple people being entirely normal. plural acceptance to me is "hey, whats up? who am i talking to?" being the most normal question in the world. plural acceptance to me is it being nothing of note when someone uses plural we/us. plural acceptance to me is online conversations not dying when someone uses a proxy or signoff. plural acceptance to me is in-sys relationships being treated as serious and natural as any other kind of relationship.

I find it so weird that willomancy tends to be brought up the most by those who are anti created systems now. For one it's the newest of the generally popular ways of creating headmates and the discourse definitely existed before the term even existed. Why switch to the new term to be against when others already existed?
Also of the types of headmate formation it is the one that's creation is based in the plural community and tends to be used by those who are already systems(many of these systems who are formed by trauma in some way) not to create new systems. They aren't the ones who would fit the narrative of "creating a system for fun" stereotype of created systems the best because they aren't actually creating a system in most cases just headmates.
And there are willogenic headmates who are... not even endogenic. You can be willogenic and formed through trauma. There are plenty who use willogenic practices to elaborate traumagenic fragments that already exist or help with splits that are occurring due to trauma. It can be about having some control over things that were always going to exist anyway.
Just seeing all the stereotypes around it just confuse me so much because it is very obvious that some people have no knowledge(or just simply don't care) about the facts surrounding the individual term they are using.

🪷 from the created system ask game (it was the one about advice to those interested in creating a headmate/system member, in case the emoji doesn't work)
" 🪷: What would you say to a singlet interested in willomancy/tulpamancy/paromancy/etc.? What would you say if they were a system? "
Ooh, this is a really good question, thanks for asking!! We'll try and give something that isn't the usual "creating a headmate is a serious decision, they're people and need to be treated as equals", etc etc etc stuff
🪷 Singlets: You've probably heard a few times that creating a headmate means you're responsible for treating them as a person and allowing them the same freedoms you have if possible. And it's true, a created headmate is a friend for life with a special, indescribable connection you'll always share. But something I didn't really consider back when I (thought I) was a singlet, is that your lives and interests will flow into each other because you live intertwined.
I have a respect and appreciation for coquette and lolita fashion because of our soulbond Casey when previously I avoided ""girly"" or frilly or extravagant things entirely; I go out more because our tulpa Badeline gets stir crazy faster than the hosts. I know it sounds like a lot right now, and yes some active work does need to be put in for balance to be kept, but the transition will be so natural you barely even notice it when it happens. I remember looking around our room one day and realizing about 40% of it has some influence from someone outside the Prism behing getting it.
Basically, don't forget that when properly nurtured, deciding on created plurality will change your life. It's a significant decision, but in our humble, biased opinion, it is worth it.
🪷 Systems: Hmmm this is a bit trickier and almost depends more on what kind of created headmate you're working with and what you're used to experiencing within your system. I'll try and encompass as many different things as I can think of. In general, based on what we've seen from ourselves and others, created members tend to operate a little differently than those of other origins.
For example, if you're familiar with that half-formed vague new headmate/alter/etc feeling, or the ability to sense your members' presences, those abilities are very similar to the feeling you'll experience while forming a created member such as a tulpa, willomate, etc.
If you're used to intense splitting, it's much more of a gentle and gradual process. "Head pressures" is the tulpamancy term for the headaches that a tulpa can induce during forming, so some pain is common, but in our experience it's much less bad if you have experienced polyconsciousness already.
Created headmates can also be a very influential way to grow skills such as communication, controlled fronting, headspace control, and breaking down dissociative barriers. When we're at our worst fog and unable to hear nearly anyone else at all, very often the only people able to reach front will be our tulpas and soulbonds. I very much credit our skills in communication, headspace control, switching, and more to having started our plural journey in tulpamancy. If you struggle with dissociative barriers there's a significant chance that a created headmate (especially a tulpa, willomate, paromate, etc) will be able to traverse those barriers better than others in the system.
Depending on if the created headmate is sourced and how connected they are to that source, they may take a while longer to form a web of certain opinions, likes, desires, etc than a system member that just pops in, formed in the background, split roughly, etc. Make sure to give them a broader timespan to fully "come together" than your other headmates, even if you do form them slowly.
That reminds me- most tulpamancy guides say a tulpa takes at least three months to a year to fully form, and most soulbonding guides require and intimate understanding of the character which takes time and dedication in of itself. Our experience with our first tulpa as a then-monoconscious pluregg took around six months to be fully communicative. However, after experience with polconscious plurality, we found the process only took a month or two to complete. We believe this is because a lot of tulpamancy is building the essential skills required, and bypassing that makes the process take a lot shorter. This lines up with accounts from other veteran tulpamancers (that aren't otherwise plural) who say that their second or third tulpas took a much shorter time than their first.
🪷 I hope any of this is helpful to people seeing this!!

Created Plurality - Pluralpedia
"Created refers to systems which formed purposely for any reason. [...] It includes all forms of intentional plurality: consciously exploring gateways, opening oneself to spiritual formations, thoughtforms, etc."
This can be through a wide range of psychological or spiritual/metaphysical means! Created systems can be as simple as a sapient imaginary friend or as complex as communication with countless spirits.

{ Subtypes labeled 🔵 are more psychological-leaning, Subtypes labeled 🟣 are more metaphysical-leaning, Subtypes labeled 🔴 have no lean }
🔵🟣 Thoughtform - An umbrella term used over many psychological & spiritual communities for any type of autonomous entities manifested by thought. Can be collective or singular, psychological or metaphysical. Very broad term, good source encompassing multiple definitions pending (Similar to: tulpamancy, parogenic, willogenic, faciogenic, senpiamancy)
🔵 Tulpamancy - "A tulpa is an entity created in the mind, acting independently of, and parallel to your own consciousness. [...] You’ll create a tulpa by imagining a person in your head, and treating them as a person. The exact mechanism is unknown, but as you give a tulpa attention, and believe it can be a sentient person, it will grow into one, and act independently of you." [alt primary source] (Similar to: thoughtform, parogenic, willogenic, faciogenic, senpiamancy) (Mostly psychologically-leaning but some metaphysical tulpamancers exist!)
🔵 Parogenic - "Parogenic refers to systems or headmates that were created using thought-based or metaphysical means, usually deliberately." (A broad term that is used as both an umbrella and a specific origin. Similar to: tulpamancy, thoughtform, willogenic, faciogenic, senpiamancy)
🔵 Willogenic - "Willogenic describes a system that was purposefully [...] willed into existence." (Similar to: tulpamancy, thoughtform, parogenic, faciogenic, senpiamancy)
🔵🟣 Soulbonding - "Soulbonding is an intense connection someone feels to a character, which results in that character becoming a presence in their mind, a soulbond. Soulbonder refers to anyone who gains soulbonds, and may be considered a kind of host. Soulbonds may be described as headmates based on characters or real individuals, and may be viewed as walk-ins from another world that existed independently from the soulbonder before arriving, or hold the metaphysical belief that they did. It may also be used to refer to a fictive that takes a separate sentience, especially among writers. It can also be a connection one feels to a fictional character to the intensity that they appear in their headspace or as an internal voice." One of the very first created plural communities. Soulbonders tend to separate themselves into two categories, psychological and spiritual. (Similar to: Pariogenic, Primagenic, O-System, Charagenic, Gateway) [Pluralpedia link]
🔵🟣 Dæmonism - "Dæmonism is the practice of communicating with one's internal dæmon, a thoughtform representation of one's subconscious, inner thoughts, or soul given a sentient form. A dæmon commonly takes the form of an animal, inspired by Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials novels. A dæmian is an individual with a dæmon presence which they are aware of and communicate with. The terms "dæmian" and "dæmon" typically indicate a creator / created or discoverer / discovered relationship. [...] The term dæmonism may refer to the community, the practice, the presence of a dæmon, or the act of a dæmian communicating with their dæmon." [pluralpedia link]
🟣 Metagenic / Spirigenic - "Metagenic systems are ones that formed with metaphysical or spiritual origins not necessarily tied to any religion or practice." / "Spirigenic refers to systems that were created for or through spiritual means, with an emphasis on religious spirituality." (Umbrella terms for many different types of metaphysical plurality)
🟣 Possessive (system) - "Possessive systems are ones that formed through long-term spirit possession. Both the spirit and the host benefit as part of an agreement." (Similar to: spiritual soulbonding)
🔵 Blueprinted - "Blueprinted is a term [...] in which headmates are first created as dormant and entirely blank fragments who then are (usually) given a separately prepared set of details to take upon, which typically furthers them into a more developed headmate. Sometimes, blank fragments might be brought out of dormancy in an unaltered state, left to develop further on their own. A set of details given to a blank fragment in blueprinted (sisa)systems is often referred to as a blueprint. The process of giving a blank fragment in a blueprinted (sisa)system a blueprint is often referred to as instructing." (Other info for developing fragments: TBF)
🔴 Catharigenic - "A catharigenic system is one whose origin is caused by the natural/unintentional creation of new members. This is meant to be an option for [...] plural folks who were unintentionally created, but still fall under “Created” in some way." (Often used by unintentionally created members of all stripes!)
📝 Created Plural Microlabels! 📝
[ 📝 Created Plural Microlabels! 📝 ]
🔴 Addgenic - "Addgenic refers to systems or headmates who [either]: Wish to become the largest system they can be, wish to become a larger system in a controlled and healthy manner, wish to become a larger system, but uncontrollably, [or] are obsessed with becoming a large system, which leads them to intentionally create headmates."
🔵 Archogenic - "Archogenic is an origin term that may describe a headmate's or system's origins as being created by an artisan, or constructed in a similar manner." (Similar to: tulpamancy, thoughtform, parogenic, willogenic, faciogenic, senpiamancy)
🔵 Borarogenic - "Borarogenic is an origin for (sisa)systems or headmates created out of boredom. It is under the parogenic umbrella."
🔵 Charagenic - "Charagenic is a system origin where a system is formed from creating and using characters. The characters can be used for art, writing, roleplay, or any other activity that involves using a character. These characters are typically introjects in the system." (Similar to: soulbonding, O-System, Primagenic)
🔵 Comfortgenic - "A comfortgenic system is one that created their headmates, specifically for the purpose of someone's comfort. It may have been for the host, someone outside of the system, or another headmate."
🔵 Crispgenic - "Crispgenic is an origin for those who willed headmates into existence aggressively. It's a term made to replace willogenic for those who feel like it's a softer term. Crispgenic can also be used for one who turns delusional attachments into headmates to help recover from the delusions."
🔴 Déagenic - "an origin term for members who were created or willed into existence in some way or other, whether intentionally or not. It was coined as an alternative to [other created terms], and can serve as an umbrella term, similarly to created."
🔵🟣 Dippigenic - "Dippigenic is an origin term for headmates who formed when their system intended to create a new member, but they ended up appearing spontaneously before any conscious effort was made. Dippigenic headmates may be considered quasi-spontaneous and/or walk-ins." (Similar to: Kiagenic, catharigenic)
🔵(?) Faciogenic - "Faciogenic refers to a subsystem made up of created [...] thoughtforms." (Similar to: tulpamancy, thoughtform, parogenic, willogenic, senpiamancy, archogenic)
🔵 Firpergenic - "Firpergenic is a -genic term that refers to a system (or subsystem, layer, ect) that formed because of imagining oneself as a system, or from referring to themself as multiple (ex: saying "we" even though they're a singlet / don't have a subsystem)." (Similar to: willogenic)
🔵 Imaginagenic - "imaginagenic is a system origin where a system forms from either imagination play or roleplaying." (Similar to: soulbonding, primagenic, charagenic, O-System)
🔵🟣 Kiagenic - "Kiagenic refers to a system [.../etc] formed out of chaos/pre-existing or primordial potential energy for existence, brought or manifested into existence or awareness via gentle nudging of unconscious processes. Kiagenic is distinct from parogenic in that it is not a conscious process with directed willful intent, though it can have more minor conscious elements. The term can also be used as an origin term for “accidental [created] systems/members”, who arise from deliberate action, but not intent to become plural/create system members." (similar to: Subliminalgenic)
🔵 Narrogenic - "Narrogenic is an origin term referring to a system forming from a singlet talking to themselves and gradually grew more and more separate until it felt like they were talking to an entirely separate entity. While this may apply to just the first headmate, it does not have to be restricted to them, nor does it have to be applied to all headmates." (This method is commonly seen in parogenic, willogenic and tulpamancy systems)
🔵🟣 O-System - "An o-system is a system where the headmates are original "characters" who, once created, took over their development and introduced themselves, their backstory, and more. They tend to have their own headspace that relates to their backstory and life, and they tend not to be able to fully front, but can mask themselves onto other headmates from different system origins as a way to connect with the outside physical universe/world. While many systems can have headmates who felt to be or originally were "original characters", omates are not headmates in the same way that headmates of other system origins are. While they have sentience and their own lives and personalities, they do not exist within this universe to any degree except that osters have brought them in via creating them here. They exist in their own lives and backstories, often expressing those lives in alternate headspaces. Omates can develop and jump from an ostem to another system and gain more connection to this world/universe." (Similar to: Soulbonding, primagenic, charagenic)
🔵🟣 Pancreated - "Pancreated is an origin for (sisa)systems/headmates who were formed by all created origins."
🟣 Pariogenic - "Pariogenic systems are systems mostly made up of walk-ins and/or soulbonds."
🔵🟣 Primagenic - "A primagenic system is one shaped around an original universe the system created through writing, art and other creative mediums. The members may be based around characters and/or concepts in this universe, and the innerworld is shaped around the original universe." (Similar to: Soulbonding, O-System)
🔵 Pseudogenic - "A pseudogenic system is one that: a) A system created by them faking a system to the point the system became real. The system should acknowledge that them faking was wrong, but can't deny they are now actually a system. b) A system created by the self. Another term for parogenic. c) A reclamation of a term used against them."
🔵 Senpiamancy - "Senpiamancy is the practice of creating headmates through various techniques. A headmate created through senpiamancy is called a "senpia". The term was created as an alternative to the term tulpamancy and specifically denotes a person who believes the creation of their headmates is due to psychological reasons, whereas tulpamancy can refer to people with both metaphysical and psychological beliefs." (Similar to: tulpamancy, thoughtform, parogenic, willogenic, faciogenic, archogenic)
🔵 Subliminalgenic - "Subliminalgenic or subgenic systems originate through the manifestation and reinforcement of subliminal stimuli." (Similar to: Kiagenic)
🔵 Willopartnergenic - "Willopartnergenic is a term that defines a headmate specifically and deliberately formed for a headmate in their partner system, as opposed to natural and sporadic formation. The formation of willopartnergenic headmates should always be consensual with the muse in question and with the intention to be handled in a healthy way. Willopartnergenic may also define headmates who were fragments or already forming which were helped along with the aid or given purpose of a muse."
🌱 Created Terms Related to Mental Health 🌱
[ 🌱 Created Terms Related to Mental Health 🌱 ]
🔵 Alzgenic - "Alzgenic describes the process of a system or a headmate being created due to suffering from usually Young Onset Dementia. This could be due to forgetting details about themself and therefore creating alternate versions of themself causing to form a system or new headmates. Alzgenic is in relation to catharigenic as the creation is oftentimes unintentional."
-🔵 Artifigenic - [Abuse & programming TW] "Artifigenic describes a system or sisasystem that was intentionally created by one or more abusers. It is inherently traumagenic or stressgenic in origin."
🔵 Crispgenic - "Crispgenic is an origin for those who willed headmates into existence aggressively. It's a term made to replace willogenic for those who feel like it's a softer term. Crispgenic can also be used for one who turns delusional attachments into headmates to help recover from the delusions."
🔵 Cuilform - "Cuilform or cuilformed refers to systems or headmates that were created as a result of or during psychosis. Because of this, cuilforms are typically also psychosis holders. Cuilform headmates, or cuilforms, may identify with additional origin terms, depending on the context of the psychosis. Cuilform is not exclusive to those diagnosed, formally or otherwise, with any related mental conditions. This term can be used by any system regardless of origin. Cuilform references cuil, which refers to cuil theory. This defines a cuil as a unit of measurement denoting one abstraction away from reality. In the context of psychosis and headmates created through psychosis, cuil can measure the severity of the psychosis in either the positive or negative symptom direction."
🔴 Maliciogenic - (intra-system abuse TW) refers to a headmate, subsystem, or otherwise that falls under created [/etc] umbrellas, but specifies that they were created by another headmate with malicious intent. For example, it could be that said headmate decided to create another headmate/subsystem/etc in order to cause uncertainty or instability in the system, or with the intent to harm the system or those within it in some way.
🔵 Naiagenic - "Naiagenic is an origin term for headmates formed, intentionally or not, as a direct result of a manic or manic-like state. It is not exclusive to those diagnosed, formally or otherwise, with any related mental conditions. This term can be used by any system regardless of origin."
🔵 Paragenic - "The term paragenic describes a system's or headmate's origin as having been caused or influenced by Maladaptive Daydreaming Disorder, neuronarration, immersive daydreaming, or other similar neurodivergencies."
🔵 Parotraumagenic - "A parotraumagenic system or headmate was created to deal with trauma; for example, to ward off loneliness during bullying, or someone to do tasks the host was unable to do due to triggers. Typically, said creation is a conscious decision."
🔵🟣 Pariotraumagenic - "Pariotraumagenic is an origin that means having come from both trauma inside and outside of the system. It can be considered a combination of traumagenic and pariogenic or walk-in. There are a variety of ways that a pariotraumagenic member could join the system. Examples include: a person or being being brought to the system from another timeline to help with trauma, a person or being joining the system to escape trauma in another timeline, a person or being, being a walk-in, who was altered by the system's trauma upon joining, or someone walking in who is not yet fully formed." (Similar to: Traumaform)
🔵 Temagenic - [System/Member Death TW] "Temagenic (from Greek "τεμάχιο" [temáchio] meaning "fragment, scrap" ) refers to a system that came about through the prior dismantling of one or more systems. It may occur any number of times, including indefinitely. This deconstruction may come about willingly or involuntarily due to external trauma, inter-system conflict, or a system's host or another headmate in a position of power stepping down or being forcibly removed from their position. It may or may not include the death of one or more headmates, particularly the previous system's host(s) though this is not necessarily a prerequisite. It may also include deconstruction of social norms in the place of or alongside social structure, particularly for systems whose origin systems have no fixed hierarchical establishment."
🔵 Traumaform - "Traumaform refers to systems who are created through thoughtform and traumagenic origins. This can be due to trauma causing the system to split headmates intentionally to deal with said trauma, but also can happen as a result of involuntary splitting due to trauma. While this can be seen as a partially endogenic term, this origin results from primarily trauma. Despite this, systems of any origin can use this term." (Similar to: Parotraumagenic)
🔗 Terms w/ Created Connections! 🔗
[ 🔗 Terms w/ Created Connections! 🔗 ]
🟣 Anamriel - "Anamriel is a system identity characterized by the deep-seated feeling that two or more of its members are, or were at one point, a soul of their own, housed by and sharing one physical form amongst multiple potential soulforms. Soulform in this context refers to a member of a system or individual who holds the belief that they are, or were, their own soul to be their personal truth with no physical evidence to prove it either way." (Similar to: soulbased, possessive systems)
🔴 Catharigenic - "A catharigenic system is one whose origin is caused by the natural/unintentional creation of new members. This is meant to be an option for [...] plural folks who were unintentionally created, but still fall under “Created” in some way." Often used by unintentionally created members of all stripes!
🔴 Codegenic - "A xeno-origin relating to code. [/] An origin for a system or headmate that was coded into headspace (for example, created by a coder). Can be considered a created origin. This term is not related to any form of organized abuse."
🟣 Gateway - "A gateway system is one connected to other worlds via portals or gates that are experienced as real and external to the system, body, and brain. The body may be experienced as a gate itself, leading to one or multiple worlds besides shared reality. A gateway system may not have an innerworld that is experienced as internal to the system.[ The term co-location similarly describes an experience of living several existences in different realities, connected by gates."
🟣 Soulbased - "Soulbased refers to when a system's plurality is affected by their soul. Whether it be having multiple souls, their soul splitting into pieces, etc."
🔵🟣 Walk-in - "Walk-in is a word that has different meanings in different system communities. A common definition refers to a headmate who comes from elsewhere in the inner world or another world other than shared reality. This phenomenon or manifestation most commonly occurs within gateway systems, or similar types. The term may also be used in tulpamancy or thoughtforms to describe a tulpa that was not created by the host and appear fully formed. There are many different explanations for why this can occur among tulpamancers and some don't consider them tulpas at all."

Created System FAQ
[Created System FAQ]
This is a list of information for beginners! Ever-growing as new questions are asked!
Please check the tulpa.info FAQ for many important questions. While it is tulpamancy-focused, much of the risks and possibilities in created systemhood are the same across various types.
At the tulpa.info FAQ you can find things such as:
🔥 "Prove that this exists!" 🔥 "What are the dangers/risks?" 🔥 "How is created plurality different from DID?" 🔥 "What are the capabilities and limitations of created headmates?" 🔥 "Is created plurality safe with pre-existing mental illness?"
Other FAQs!
[Other FAQs!]
🔥 "Is this a religious/spiritual thing?" - Created plurals come in all kinds- many have spiritual/metaphysical reasons, and many have psychological ones. So basically, not if you don't want it to be - it depends on the type. Regardless though, the evidence is there that an experience is happening!
🔥 "Is created plurality okay if the body/brain is traumatized/disabled?" (short answer: yes but be gentle with yourselves and don't build unrealistic expectations)
🔥 "Is soulbonding only spiritual/metaphysical?" (short answer: no)
🔥 "Is this offensive to DID systems?" Not at all; in fact, many systems with DID (including the one running this blog!) have created headmates as well.
🔥 "I heard this discourse and I don't want to hurt anyone...." This blog strives to be supportive of all types of created plurality when done mindfully and with care toward created members' individual personhoods. We also strive not to bring attention to bad-faith misinformation campaigns attempting to paint various terminologies or methods as inherently harmful for one reason or another. If you're genuinely concerned about something you found, please send it to us via DMs so we can learn more.
🔥 "What's the difference between X term and Y term? The definitions sound pretty similar" So sometimes identity labels like this can be a bit more vibes-based and overlap, especially when you have a buncha different communities with different definitions for things coming together. Some are umbrella terms, some have specific connections to certain communities, some were coined as alternatives to another term cuz the creator wanted something different, and some are multiple of these or have changed over time. We try to stay unbiased- choose what feels best for you based on what you and your system want!

The soulbonding carrd!
Ahhh I finished it! Also, the history bit is just a quick summary, but since history is my passion- and the profession we're probably going into, I'll write an essay on it eventually.

Shoutout to after-lifers! Whether you're of a spiritual origin or not, it can be rough to have died in your previous life/source and then be dropped into the system. Maybe the system feels like your afterlife, your inbetween, or your second chance. You get to decide what this all means to you - what your death means to you, what your memories mean to you. After-lifers are wonderful and strong and versatile! Your existence has worth and only you get to choose where things go after your death.

So like shoutout to soulbonds with exotrauma. To soulbonds with traumatic memories, soulbonds who're in a whole new life now and hafta figure out how to deal with that. Soulbonds in bodies with trauma and without. Soulbonds that're scared of people disbelieving our PTSD or other traumabased disorders, being called fake or roleplayers, or our trauma being treated as lesser. Soulbonds who even struggle to treat ourselves as just as important as others that were hurt. Soulbonds whose painful experiences involve fantastical elements that make it hard to talk about in a down to earth way. Soulbonds who're scared they'll "speak over" others with similar bodily trauma. Soulbonds in bodies who only have PTSD at all because of exotrauma.
What happened to us was real because we experienced it and it affects us, and that's so important. We deserve to be treated with respect and we deserve help! It's not fair that we're treated as lesser than bodily trauma. I want every soulbond with exotrauma to know that we CAN find healing one day, and it's gonna be okay. I love you and you'll find others that do too

Created systems are important and an essential part of the community! Created systems are amazing and have helped forward plural understanding so much. We're lucky to have fronting guides written by created systems, communication guides written by created systems. Intentionally created systems are impressive! Accidentally created systems are unique! Created headmates are as much their own people as they want to be, they have their own autonomy and deserve to be respected. Solely created systems are cool! Mixed origin created systems are awesome! Mainly-traumagenic systems with created headmates are important! Psychologically-based created systems, spiritually-based ones, and every system in between are wonderful 💙👥
Created systems are still multiple. It's okay to want to be plural or to have become plural because of creation methods. Whether it be through psychological or spiritual methods, if one claims existence/personhood and wishes to be seen as multiple/separate, they have a right to that no matter what.
