the leverage redemption finale felt very nostalgic to the og series mostly because the episode was parker psychologically torturing a guy and then driving in the point by delivering a cold hearted speech explaining why his life is in ruins. while wearing a fun little hat. parker really proved that she is nate’s successor in being insane and full of rage. 😃

Does anyone know any good fics where either Sam or Dean are aware Wincest FanFics are a thing— but then they actually act on it? Like any fics that involve one of them coming across the series Chuck wrote then getting all hot/bothered about it OR even an obscure timeline fic where they encounter themselves being all domestic and shit then decide to give it a go themselves. Lol. I've read quite a few, but in the mood for more.

I know the timeline doesn't make sense but try to follow me. Just imagine:

HighSchool Senior Reid tutoring College Senior Derek in some course needed to graduate— IDK what it is (it could be Quantum Physics for all I care, who gives a shit), but you get my point. Reid's clearly crushin on the older guy and failing miserably to keep it lowkey, meanwhile Derek is too busy trying to make Reid laugh and let loose to really learn a damn thing. Maybe they make out in Derek's car after driving Reid home OR maybe it happens in the back corner of the library and they just can't get enough...

Either way I dig it. Literally thought about how protective upperclassman Derek would have been to underclassman Reid and came up with this so, yeah.. IDK. Might something simple on AO3, who knows (Probably won't, IDK) 🤷🏾‍♀️👋🏾

buck's defense of not being into Eddie because Eddie is straight is mostly about buck not wanting to look or feel pathetic. in my opinion. like he is in deep denial about his feelings for Eddie but also his constant harping on Eddie being straight is like. he is CLINGING to that in many ways but also "hopelessly pining for my straight best friend" is so telling to me about how buck thinks about it. he doesn't want people to feel sorry for him. he doesn't want EDDIE to feel sorry for him primarily, but he just generally does not want to be seen as a kicked dog about this. and in his mind if he has feelings for Eddie then Hopelessly Pining is the right sentiment for it. and that's what buck has been doing all his life in so many of his relationships, romantic and otherwise. and Eddie is something different to him, like a different category of person, and he cannot let their relationship fall into the same bucket.

You know, when you break it down like that DAMN.... Didn't realize the first date was that much of a shit show in retrospect. Still got love for Tommy though, but BUDDIE's FOR REAL ENDGAME.

like honestly. for real. if i was on my 49th hour of knowing i was bisexual. and on my first ever date with someone of the same sex. and that person publicly called me out for being in the closet and gave me shit about it in front of my best friend. and then (despite knowing ahead of time that i was just now figuring myself out, and also knowing that i had a super weird relationship with that friend, and also knowing that i was really nervous but excited to try things out) left me on the curb in front of a restaurant. after calling an uber and waiting until the car was literally pulling up outside to say oh - no actually this car is just for me; you can find your own way home. and then didn’t call me at all until my best friend who was panicking about his own relationship and who i had just come out to for the first time told me to call the guy so i called him and invited him to coffee to beg him to give me another chance. despite the fact that i never even did anything wrong in the first place. and i have a known history for sublimating my own identity in relationships that are wrong for me because of my anxious attachment trauma. and then i spend six months dating this person only to later find out that he dated my first love for years and strung her along to the point of being engaged. and then essentially left her at the altar when her mom was dying. and then called her crazy for dating me. and then dumped me. and then hooked up with me on a rebound and then said he was glad my best friend moved away because the competition was finally gone. like for real if I found out that people were rooting for me to end up with this guy……….. i would burn my own house down in real life.

Modern Au where Sam and Dean get caught having sex while Sam is 15 and Dean is 19.

With evidence that this relationship has been going on for a while Dean is tried as an adult and sent to jail, prohibited of any contact with Sam. He’s guilty and self loathing, accepting the punishment as for the best. He fucked up sam but at least this way it’s not too late for Sam to be fixed.

Sam is FURIOUS. He hates everyone around him for separating him and Dean, feelings that never go away but he learns to repress a bit. He fully plans on going back to Dean the moment he turns 18 and Dean is out of jail, which he’s very vocal about. He acts out, causes problems for his parents and therapists (but never for his teachers because he needs to get into a good college and get a high paying job, how else is he going to support them both when Dean comes back?).

Everyone treats Sam like a victim who’s been physiologically damaged by the disgusting actions of a monster, but Sam’s NOT, and he despises that that’s what they think Sam and deans relationship was like. he asked for it, he wanted it, why cant anyone see that? Dean didn’t abuse him, didn’t take advantage the way other pedos do. Sam has a good social life, friends, a job, a sport, and good grades, but Sam doesn’t truly care about any of it. He’s just counting down the minutes until he can runaway with Dean.
