what is the mlm flag you used to make the agender mlm flag? it looks like the gay flag
Yes, it is specifically called the gay man flag. It's a flag I heavily identify under in meaning, however, despite being comfortable calling myself mlm, I'm NOT comfortable calling myself a man outright. So I use mlm to communicate that I'm gay and attracted to men, even though it's an umbrella term that could also imply I'm attracted to women. I think it's fair enough that other agender people might feel the same, and that the point of this blog (agender people who identify heavily with a mlm experience of specifically loving men) wouldn't come off across as well if I just said gay
So yes my flag is called the agender mlm flag specifically because I made it for ME and my labels and even though the gay man flag is the flag that fits my identity, I'm not going to call myself a gay man (and just saying "gay flag" honestly wouldn't do the trick since most people associate that with the rainbow flag)
So yeah! I use the gay flag. I use the gay flag because I'm a monosexual agender only attracted to men and while I'm comfortable calling myself gay and mlm, the flag is specifically called the gay man flag, which I am not comfortable calling myself. And this blog, while the purpose is to help spread positivity and recognition, is entirely self indulgent. So you know, lol
#like because gay is often used as an umbrella term the name of the flag is the gay man flag#i have no intention of erasing that it is in fact the gay man flag but i identity under it heavily#and I'm not comfortable calling myself a man. it's just a trans thing!#so that's just my explanation as to why#it helps communicate the meaning of this blog well. agender people attracted to MEN specifically#and also as for the combination flag itself i fully support bi pan etc ppl using it#because while it obviously has its basis in the gay men's flag it's still meant to represent a unique identity#as in the relationship specifically to both being agender and loving men#which you can do even if you don't solely love men#anonymous#ask
