Lately you've enjoyed playing this adventure game called Genshin Impact, and overall the game was well created, the scenery, the characters, but one specific person had caught your eye. His name was Xiao, and you had really loved everything about him and had looked into his lore more than the other characters. You built him to the max and took extra care of him making sure to keep a shield on him and help him lose the least amount of hp. Even though you knew it was just a game and that he wasn't real, you couldn't help but develop a strong affection towards him and you loved talking to him about the exciting things from your day and the not so exciting ones as well. You liked to talk softly to him and call him cute little things because he wouldn't hear right? Not that it mattered, but what you didn't know was that a certain little yaksha could hear each and every single word you uttered to him and he was glad you weren't able to see the light blushes developing from your bold words. He was the Conqueror of Demons afterall, he wouldn't be affected by some mortal would he? Xiao was really surprised at first when he felt his body moving on it's own. But after being controlled for a bit he could hear voices and as time went on, there became progressively clearer. He learned that there was some mortal controlling his body on and off and that he actually existed in a game called Genshin Impact. He didn't like the feeling of not being in control of his body, but after a bit he was accustomed to it and didn't really mind it. He enjoyed you logging in and your affection. He loved the soft tone of your voice, and he loved when you didn't get angry at him when he didn't crit. But he still tried his best for you. Sometimes, he wished to reply to some of your comments, especially when he can hear that you were having a hard day. It really does pain him after spending so much time with you to hear you cry, he wishes to comfort you, but how would he? Should he break code and his walls to talk to you? While you were offline from Genshin, he started looking through many books, he found a craftable gadget in ancient scrolls to get to you, not for long, but long enough to be able to say the things he must to you if ever needed. He would be able to, but he won't unless absolutely necessary. Not extremely possible, but just a precaution. The day you reached friendship level ten with Xiao, was also an incredibly tough day for you, you used genshin as an escape source from all your problems and hardships. And when the 10 notification appeared on top of his name you burst our crying. From happiness of his friendship and name card but also from just all the pressure you've been feeling. And Xiao's heart just shattered at it. On reflex he took out the gadget and activated it. All of a sudden you both saw flashing bright lights and you were suddenly face to face with... XIAO?!?! IN YOUR BEDROOM???!!! WHY WAS HE IN YOUR BED ROOM (not that you were complaining... but like-)

He was right on top of you propping himself up using his arms to keep himself from falling on top of you. Both of you were extremely quiet as you stared at each other. This was definitely not how Xiao planned on meeting you for the first time. After a few more seconds of staring as each other you both scrambled away from each other. Keep in mind that you were just crying so your eyes are all puffy and swollen and you just looked very tired and messy. You snatched your blanket to cover your face as Xiao thought about what to do next. He didn't have much time in your world so he wants to just get to the point. You felt a pair of long slender arms wrap around you as you look up from shoving your face into your blanket to see Xiao, real life, and actually there. Holding you. You put your arms around his waist and hugged him back as you both sat there for a few minutes in comfortable silence. You two ended up talking about worlds and some similarities and differences. You both also asked questions about life in your said worlds and have a wonderful conversation. But alas, all good things come to an end. You and Xiao both felt him slowly fading and being sucked back into the game. A soft light came this time to take him back to his world. You, started tearing up again, and Xiao just softly smiled and patted your head. As he slowly faded back into his game he said one more thing, "Just so you know the nicknames you call me are really cute~ you should keep talking to me about your days and the fanfictions you read about me~" And with that, the Conqueror of Demons went back into his world leaving you open mouthed and red as a tomato. whendidhehearthatwhydidhehearthatdoesthatmeanhecouldhearmethisentiretimehelpwhatdoidoimdyinghelpthatissoembarrassingbyepleasegodsaveme. I saw this concept and it made me desperate to see a fic of it (if you’re comfortable with doing so/hasn’t already been done ofc!). Reader comes home severely injured from Inazuma. Venti is having to tend to them while fuming and making Archon level threats and just overall being scary™️. It takes the now scared of their bf reader to call him Barbatos to get him to snap out of it. Overall just some hurt/comfort with a horrifying Venti.

THISOMGOM HEHE IVE NEVER WRITTEN MUCH ANGST SO BEAR WITH ME Venti x Hurt Reader Warnings: Blood, angry Venti, (im sorry i dont write with swears even though it would have enhanced the story more) Blood. That's all you've seen for a long time. You have cuts and bruises from enemies and the Raiden Shoguns people that were poking and hurting at you for fun and you decided to take the ship back to Inazuma as fast as possible. Luckily the ship you took was a fast moving ship and only took you one day to get back. Parts of your body were covered in dry blood and other wounds were still open. With shiny red blood was dripping out slowly. You quickly got to Mondstat and bursted into your shared house with your boyfriend, Venti. He heard the door open and rushed over with a smile, "Y/n! You're back home-" He had stopped dead in his tracks at your figure covered with cuts and bruises and the air around him changed.

"Who did this to you." "Venti it's okay-" "Who." You proceeded to tell him about what happened in Inazuma. Venti gently picks you up and puts you onto the bed to tend to your wounds. It stings but you can see how angry and distressed your boyfriend is. His eyes and hair start glowing a teal green and his brows are furrowed as he cleans and bandages. "I am going to find the ones who hurt you and make sure they never do again. I will blow the winds into their towns and crush their homes. They will never be able to recover from it. Their farms will be blown and the soil will be dried. They will suffer. And they will starve. I'm going to personally find the ones who mocked and hurt you and give them slow painful deaths as to it was nothing as to what you endured." He's practically seething with rage and the objects in our home start to shake. "Oh and I'm going to find that so called Electro Archon who does the most terrible job protecting my people. What is she even doing with her land. He stupid dead sister isn't an excuse for this." He continues to spout angry and remarks and threats until I'm bandaged up. But by then the whole house is shaking and the winds are blowing too strongly outside. "VENTI!" I yell, but to no avail as he keeps screaming threats to the Inazumian people and their families and land. He's causing a hurricane and it's not ceasing. If no one does anything, he will actually kill his own citizens. You start to think of what you can do to stop it, glasses were being shattered and people were holding onto things for dear life in fear of being swept and blown away. You kept screeching Venti's name and trying other tactics to get him to stop but it was proved to be fruitless. You were tired and your throat hurt. But you decided to try one last thing. With the remaining energy you had left, you let out the loudest yell you could possibly muster. "BARBATOS."

All of a sudden, the winds ceased, the ground stopped shaking, and the people were on the floor from exhaustion. Venti looked to see you tired and lying on the floor with some of your bandages coming undone as he inhales sharply and sprints to you. "I, I'm so sorry Y/n," He sputters as tears slowly fall from his eyes at the tired and battered limbs of yours. He's gone too far. And if you didn't stop him, he would have killed everyone including you. He would never be able to forgive himself if he did. For the next few days he cared for you, slowly nursing you back to health. And he tried his best not to wince when he saw you in pain. But he treated you with a fragile demeanor and did his best to take care of you. After you had recovered, he said he was going to Inazuma to have a chat with Ei, but a peaceful one. He knows that she wasn't aware or else she would have delivered punishment herself, but she needs to have more strictly disciplined guards. His gave you one last kiss goodbye on your forehead. "I'll be back in a few days my windblume, don't get to lonely without me ehe." And off he went. Leaving you with a content smile seeing that your boyfriend is willing to settle with peace.

Xiao- Your boyfriend had debuted a couple weeks back and had grown in popularity very quickly because of his skill and gorgeous looks. You were a tad bit worried that he'd neglect you when he had gotten famous but now you weren't worried at all. You know your boyfriend was a loyal man to you and so you would be loyal in return. It was a bit annoying when some female idols would try to hit on him, but he'd just reject them and brush them off. Part One Itto -You say his name in order to gain his attention and start sprinting at him -He sees you sprinting at him and he laughs and starts sprinting at full force at you too -You better hope that when you two collide neither gets hurt but I think you should be more worried for yourself -He slows down last minute as you leap into his arms -A content chuckle comes from the oni as he holds you gently and peppers your face with kisses like the gentle himbo he is -Says you should do that more often -Becomes a greeting habit. Kaeya -This man is a tease at any given point in the day -The moment you start charging at him he already knows what going to happen -You see the cocky smirk show itself on your boyfriends face as you get more and more worried that closer you get to him -He stands there, arms open waiting for you normally and you think just think, that for a moment he'll catch you in a safe and normal way -You were wrong. Part Two Venti -You saw your boyfriend walking to Angel's Share so you decided to go jump up from behind and surprise him  -Yelling his name to get his attention you start to sprint towards your boyfriend -His eyes widen for a moment before smiling mischievously making you feel a bit nervous but since you've already started charging at him  -Once you jump into his arms he has no trouble catching you, in fact he uses his wind currents and you both float upwards are you screech his name in absolute terror and he laughs manically 

Xiao -You were walking to Wangshu Inn to meet Xiao and saw him on the road leading there -Not bothering to get his attention you start speeding at him  -He sensed something running at him from behind and turned quickly to face it -You jump onto him as he turns around mouth agape in a surprised expression as he holds you in a strong secure grip and stumbles backwards slightly from the speed you ran at him in -Scolds you for not being careful in a gruff voice, "What if you did get hurt? What if I didn't catch you?"  "But you did and that's all that matters. I have faith in my boyfriend to be able to catch me when I fall"  -Turns away and blushes so you couldn't see smh as you grin cheekily at him  -You buy him almond tofu to make up for it 

Kazuha -Of course he was writing his haiku's as you spot him from a fair distance  -You say hi to greet him as he turns to see you and stands up -You start running towards him as he smiles at you with his pretty face probably thinking about how excited you are to see him  -Though you eventually started getting closer and it worried him how you didn't slow down your pace as you near  -Panicked internally with a neutral face before you jumped and he, on reflex threw his arms around you and spun you around (like he wasn't just panicking on the inside of what you were doing)  -"Ohoho what are you doing? Did you want to see me that bad? I missed you too" chuckles lightly at you hugging his neck and face pressed into his shoulder -Just, stay like that for a while you both are enjoying it anyways

Albedo  -Albedo was carrying alchemy supplies with Sucrose walking behind him empty handed (She insisted on helping him but he told her that he was fine)  -While he was walking to alchemy bench with the supplies you were running around Mondstat looking for him as you finally spot him walking to Timaeus as you say his name to gain his attention and sprint at him  -He wants to tell you to stop but he can't so he hands the alchemy materials elegantly onto to Sucrose and Timaeus just in time as you run and jump onto him  -Catches you just as elegantly and effortlessly just like he is -Smiles slightly at you but tells you that he was carrying materials!! You can't do that while he's carrying materials (he says that but he'll catch you any days man is willing to drop all his materials for you)
