Get ready for a hauntingly beautiful listening experience as we bring the story of "The Ghost and Mrs Muir" to life.
As the driving force behind Zariya Hollow, and our final episode of our three part Valentine’s Day special: “The Ghost and Mrs Muir," I have a deep-rooted love for this classic story. My journey with Captain Daniel Gregg began as a young child surfing the internet, listening to his tale being told on the radio. Charles Boyer's portrayal of the Captain left a lasting impression on me, imbuing the character with a subtle French accent that has stuck in my memory to this day. For over 20 years, I have dreamed of bringing this tale to life on stage or radio. And now, with "The Ghost and Mrs Muir," I am proud to say that my dream has finally become a reality. In 2012 I was honored to get the license to arrange two pieces from the stunning score by Bernard Herrman, which are now included in our audio drama. And, as an added touch, I also composed original music for the production, infusing the timeless story with my own unique sound. As the director, producer, and star of this episode, I have poured my heart and soul into every aspect of its production. From sound effects to overall sound design, I have worked tirelessly to create an immersive and captivating listening experience for our audience. I am also thrilled to be working with a talented and dedicated cast, including Suzanne Pamphile, James J Hoegerl, and Charles Early. Each actor brings their own unique skills and perspectives to their respective roles, elevating the story to new heights. As we approach Valentine's Day and Black History Month, I am especially proud to announce that Suzanne and I are the first POC to play Lucy Muir and Captain Gregg in a production of "The Ghost and Mrs Muir." This is a true testament to the diversity and inclusiveness of our industry, and I am honored to be a part of it. At the stroke of midnight on the 14th, I will be releasing this episode for all to enjoy. I hope that listeners will be transported to the world of Gull Cottage and the salty dog who haunts it.

Welcome to "'Zariya Hollow: A Horror Anthology" an audio series that takes you on a journey into the heart of darkness, led by your mysterious and ghostly host, Reinhardt Hendrickson.
Reinhardt invites you to explore Zariya Hollow's haunted halls and uncover the secrets that lurk within. Each episode, you'll be taken on a journey into the macabre as you hear stories of terror and tragedy.
From classic ghost stories to unheard tales of terror, we bring you a collection of chilling stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Our first episode, "The Screaming Skull," is divided into three parts for your listening pleasure.
S1Ep1: "The Screaming Skull" - This is the main feature, where you will join us as we delve into the world of Captain Braddock, a practical and seasoned seafarer who inherits a house from a doctor friend, whose wife passed away under mysterious circumstances. But as he begins to settle into his new home, he discovers a bandbox containing the top half of a skull. As he tries to unravel the mystery of the skull, he is haunted by strange and unexplainable occurrences. He recounts his tale of terror and obsession over one long evening to an unnamed visitor, in a monologue that moves from a narrative of past events to a dramatization of what is happening in the house as he speaks.
Extras: "The Screaming Skull Suite" composed by Aryeh Bagheri- This piece was created to accompany the episode of the same name. It evokes the sense of being alone in a house by the sea, during a storm. The eerie theme for the ghost itself came as we first read the tale, and the beautiful highlands theme for Captain Braddock came about during the first recording sessions
"The Backstairs: The Screaming Skull" - This is a bonus episode where you'll get to explore the behind the scenes story line of the haunted mansion, Zariya Hollow. Join us as we take you on a journey into the forbidden corners of the backstairs where the spirits of the dead guard the dangerous artifact that can foretell the future and recall the past. Listen to the story of Bettiscombe Manor, told by a voice from the past, and uncover the secrets that have been buried for too long.

Explore the twisted corridors of Zariya Hollow, filled with darkness and dread. My name is Reinhardt Hendrickson, and I am the keeper of this cursed estate and curator of an astounding collection of strange and unusual artifacts. For centuries, I've been trapped within these haunted halls, waiting for visitors who want a truly frightful tale to be told. Now you are here. Please accept my warm welcome to Zariya Hollow. Within these walls lies a pipe organ with a gruesome history, where a woman's body was once hidden by her husband. There is also a cursed mirror that traps the souls of those who gaze upon it, a book of dark spells bound in human skin, and a figurine that can bring your worst nightmares to life. But beware - these objects are guarded by the ghosts that haunt this estate. There is the spirit of a jilted lover who roams the halls, seeking revenge on those who wronged her. There is a headless horseman who rides through the gardens on moonless nights. And then there is me - the keeper of this cursed collection, doomed to roam these halls for all eternity. With a sly smile, I invite you to sit with me and listen to the tales of Zariya Hollow. The choice is yours. Will you stay and face your worst nightmares, or will you run? And now, let the stories of terror begin with the first tale in our collection - "The Screaming Skull" by F. Marion Crawford. Are you ready to be altered by the horrors of Zariya Hollow
