Went home for X-Mas and finally found this old picture of my great-grandmother. Picture that growing up I found very interesting and entrancing. It's her in her wedding dress (this a photoshop of two photos that a family friend made). I feel the feeling I got looking at it was an early passive development in my gender identity. It's quite euphoric looking at after years of not seeing it and seeing how much closer I resemble her.

Got a new sona artwork from my friend tuna (FA: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/goatuna) and really happy how it turned out. Is based on my time in Utah and Bryce Canyon. She is a mule deer which are common in the park. Wish I was allowed to keep the uniform to do this exact pose irl lol. Hoping to experiment with the red highlights in the hair down the line too. I think a Mule Deer better reflects my personality than a shark tbh. I'm really chill, until not and get really skittish and panicked.

I think one of the biggest reasons I enjoy jjba is because I envy this level of confidence and sincerity in storytelling. See, I would not have just said something as fucking stupid as "bullet-deflecting oil." I would've come up with some kind of Watsonian bullshit magic-science explanation that at least squared with the logic of the story instead of just saying "Oh, it's an oil that deflects bullets" and moving on to the next thing. But that is not because I am a better storyteller, no, quite the opposite. It's because I'm a coward.

Enjoy Wrestling pics

Had a blast at my local Pittsburgh queer wrestling promotion Enjoy Wrestling! Met so many friends, wrestlers, and wrestler friends. Enjoy has been a special place for me in my transition.

The current champ, Edith Surreal, was like the 3rd trans woman I asked for HRT advice once I started my journey a little over a year ago. Everytime there is a show I have a nice chat, like this time how my first laser session went and how soon I'll have my court date to be legally Zoe. When I was first coming out it was these spaces where I felt comfortable to wear femme clothing and when I'd talk to all the wrestlers they'd were pumped for me and supportive. Enjoy is a special environment and a queer haven in an industry that has slowly gotten better, but still leaves more to be desired

I met Dark Sheik who is this really rad trans wrestler out on the West Coast (go to Hoodslam shows if you can!) And we chatted about stuff I bought a shit ton of her merch including the shirt I can probably only wear at Enjoy shows, Dyke Nights at Blue Moon, and Critical Mass bike rides.

I'm sad this is the last Enjoy show of 2024, but makes me excited for Spring when it picks up again!
