HANNAH THE KILLERS NEW OWER REVEALED

As some of you probably know, the Creator of Hannah the Killer mentioned on her that she will be handing her Creation off to a new person. [ October 27 2024 | mentioned on Insta story ] That new person she handed her creation off to will become the new Owner of Hannah the killer.

There were a lot of messages from people asking for ownership of Hannah. The creator wanted to give everyone an equal opportunity and chance. In the end, after all messages were delivered and seen, she had made her decision.

With choosing an owner, it is important to have a mutual understanding between both sides. To respect not only the character but the creator as well, to have trust in the person you hand your character off to, knowing they would be loyal in respecting your wishes and boundaries. With that said…

Quite literally, a lot of you were surprised to hear I have become the new owner of Hannah the Killer.

Before moving on, I am aware many of you have questions and concerns regarding both past events and recent events, as well as questions that have been left unanswered.

I will try my best to address and answer the questions that some have been asking, stuck on, or couldn’t move past.

Where is Hannah's Creator? Truth to be said, Scream had been thinking of leaving months prior. We had a discussion about the possibility of her leaving. At the time, I wasn't sure if she meant just leaving the fandom in whole or if she meant her online presence too. 

Reason; She had been thinking of leaving the Creepypasta community due to past experiences tied to drama that involved herself, her artwork, and even her characters in the fandom.

Prior to the drama; she didn’t want believe the Creepypasta community was toxic, by the end of the experience she admitted that the Creepypasta fandom was extremely toxic and that she was tired of seeing people constantly attacking each other.

ORGINS OF CREEPYPASTA

What is CREEPYPASTA? Creepypasta is a self-made horror fandom.

Fandom ; a group of people who all share the same likes or interests.

CREEPYPASTA ORIGIN Creepypasta originated as horror fans that were interested in creepy story’s and creepy images on the internet in the early 2000’s. Many of the original stories and images originated from mainstream media or on sites like 4chan and devainart. The majority of which were absorbed into the Creepypasta fandom by the fan base.

Origin/Originated ; started as, how it began.

Is CREEPYPASTA a Franchise? While most fandoms originate from a game, movie, or brand franchise of some sort. Creepypasta was created independently by fans and is not owned by a bigger individual person or company.

Franchise ; meaning it is owned by a bigger company or business. Examples of franchises ; Marvel, DC comics, Horror films such as Chucky, Scream, The Walking Dead, Games such as Call of duty, Legend of Zelda, Tetris, and Halo.

Fandoms that have been created on their own without a franchise. Are Independent or Standalone Fandoms.

Fandoms like ; CREEPYPASTA, Slenderverse, InsaneHorrors, and Scp Foundation.

Fall into the independent-standalone category for they were created on their own without a franchise. Creepypasta is known as being a self-made fandom.

Examples of Standalone/Independent ; Films - Jennifer’s Body, it follows, Shaun of the Dead, Games - Slender eight pages, Visage, Outlast, and Five Nights at Freddy

Standalone/Independent ; not apart of a bigger series or franchise.

Fandom Growth in Popularity

While the Creepypasta fans started off in the early 2000’s as early media horror fans. The actual fandom didn’t fully form until after 2007 when the word CREEPYPASTA first appeared on an image board on the site 4chan. Horror fans loved the name Creepypasta it grew to become the fandoms name. It wasn’t until around 2009-2012 when images of Slenderman, Jeff the killer, The rake, B.O.B, and BEN started becoming main media that the fandom grew in popularity.

Such as Slenderman, who is often mistaken by fans to have started as a Creepypasta.

Slenderman was created by Victor Surge in 2009 for a photoshop contest to create a new myth or monster. On a thread called Something Awful which was an Internet forum.

Slenderman wasn’t originally created in the Creepypasta fandom. He was absorbed into it by the fanbase like most popular main media during that time. It isn’t a franchise for we aren’t owned by a company or one main owner.

So there isn’t such thing as generation 1 and generation 2 of Creepypasta. The idea of their being gen 1 and gen 2 Creepypastas; was a random trend that started in the fandom. Hypothetically; if there was generations of Creepypasta it would be a 10 year span. Considering; the first character and story to be considered a Creepypasta was started being published in 2001 [Ted the Caver].

Who is the creator of CREEPYPASTA? Contrary to some fans believe ; Creepypasta does not have an individual creator nor owner.

What are CREEPYPASTA Creators? Creepypasta creators are fans that went on to add to the fandom by creating their own creations and characters in the fandom. Including ; authors, writers, artists, designers, developers, inventors and more.

What characters belong to CREEPYPASTA? None. Creepypasta is a Fandom and does not own of any of the characters or creations that are in the fandom. Ownership of the Characters and Creations is held by the Creators and Copyright of the original content. This includes ; creations and characters that have been absorbed, placed, or created in the fandom.

Fandoms do not have legal ownership over characters or intellectual property of original content. The Creators and Copyright hold ownership.

Can characters be removed from CREEPYPASTA? Yes. The original creators are allowed to remove their creations from the fandom.

Especially when it comes to copyrighted material. If refused to respect or acknowledge the creators copyright. The creator can take legal action and potentially lead to a lawsuit. This includes when someone uses, sells, or post copyrighted work without permission of the copyright holder.

Can one claim ownership of a character or creation in the fandom? No. Fans can not claim ownership of characters in the fandom. The creations along with their stories are protected by copyright belonging to the original creator.

Creator / Owner / Ownership / Co ownership

Creator is the person who created the original creation. The creator automatically owns the copyright to what they create. in some cases ; when creators no longer want or are using their creation. The creator will give them to someone else, the person who it is given to is now known as the Owner of their creation.

Owner is a person the original creator trusts in protecting and taking care of their creation.

Disclaimer ; Creators are allowed to remove Owners due to issues or concerns [mistreatment of their property]. The creator still owns the copyright over their creation. It is important to communicate boundaries, questions, concerns, along with changes with the creator prior to proceeding. Owner needs to provide the creators permission and statement to becoming the owner. If the creator didn’t provide it themself.

I want to see how many Creepypasta fans are on Tumblr. If you guys can all get together just comment “ hi ” you can also comment a Creepypasta catch phrase I will leave examples below.

On TikTok theres around 22k Creepypasta fans. I want to get an estimation of how many fans are on here and other platforms. I know the whole fanbase is spread out and not everyone interacts with Creepypasta posts some of us just like to observe and that’s alright too.

I have noticed some things about the actual fanbase on TikTok and other platforms. Such as a lot of the fans base doesn’t know how Creepypasta was created, they don’t know where the Creepypasta word came from, what Creepypasta is exactly. All they know is it’s a bunch of people simping for fictional murders and that it’s just all fun. That fans can do whatever they want to the characters. Which is not true and I’m going to be explaining what Creepypasta is and it’s origins in a post called “An Introduction to Creepypasta” which is a great start to understanding the actual fandom and getting into it.

I have experienced a lot of things while taking part in the Creepypasta fandom but I have also noticed a lot of posts from Creators, Artists, and Writers leaving the fandom due to toxic behavior. Many artists get their art stolen and reposted without credit, traced, or even profited off without their consent. Many Creators have had bad experiences in the fandom due to fans spreading false information, and accusations of them. Many creators also leave due to how fans treated them. I have watched multiple of my friends who were once apart of the fandom leave due having bad experiences from the fanbase, or drama.

In my case when I first got involved with the fanbase I had rushed in without thinking I was rather reckless in the situation, but I had learned from it. I had learned about my own mistakes and learned about the fanbase. At first glance I watched people bully artists and creators out of the fandom, I had watched my art get traced, stolen, made fun of, I was told that the fandom would not accept me, I noticed fans didn’t treat the creators like people, I noticed that fans don’t get over people’s past mistakes, they don’t believe that people can improve and learn from their mistakes, I had been accused of tracing my own friends artwork when I hadn’t, and many other things. During the time I did receive some harsh messages but throughout that experience I also learned what creators go through, I took that time to ask creators questions and get to know a bit more about their characters.

I question if this fandom even can be healthy, or prevented from dying but it is clear that something has to change and it won’t change if no one speaks about it.

imagine having to explain to the whole fanon side of Creepypasta that Nina the killer was never Bi Sexual to begin with. The amount of Chaos that would start. I’ve known this since 2021 when I asked the creator about Nina’s sexuality. I guess I just forgot to mention it.

.. woooo! I only have ten followers on here and I’m really tired. I’m the creator of the first kid I got Madamblackwolfs approval back in 2022, announced it on Instagram talked about it a little didn’t realize I had to actually make a post confirming it on other platforms. So I’m gonna be posting that later talking about all of it the whole thing, the details. Is TicciToby still a Creepypasta?

The awnser is; No.

TicciToby is NO longer a Creepypasta nor associated with the fandom.

This is NOT up for debate nor discussion. In the 12th accusation addressed on the Official document for the Drama below it in small bold typing it says;

Despite recent events with the fandom, Kastoway still wishes to have no association with the Creepypasta and requests that anybody who decides to continue using the old version of Toby, or is interested in using the new one, refrains from tagging it as Creepypasta, and instead tags it more ambiguously as just #ticcitoby #tobyrogers (and #chikadeesprings if using the rebooted version.)
