Love the playmobil pirate island movie. Just re-watched it today and came to Tumblr to see if anyone posted about it. :D

Post 7 comfort movies and tag 7 people

I don’t get to rewatch a lot of things anymore, mostly because I am not highly technologically adept and don’t have much time…

1. Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003)  This should not be a surprise to anyone.  I knew this movie backwards and forwards before my brain had settled enough to actually remember character names.  This may be a clue as to why I am the way I am.

2. The Secret of Pirate Island (2009)  If you’ve ever heard of this in your life, please let me know.  The brother and I watched this so frequently that we can still probably recite the entire thing.  I have many questions, such as who funded this absurd Playmobil movie, who approved this plot, and how can I meet them.  There is a game show, with fabulous prizes.  There is a dragon.  There is, as my friend puts it, “suddenly John Lennon but he’s southern”.  Also definitely influenced why I’m Like This.

3. The Hunt for Red October (1990)  Probably a weird choice for a “comfort” movie, but it reminds me of my granddad, and, to a certain degree, more modern warships are just as Aesthetic™ as older ones, just in a very different way. 

4. The Green Hornet Strikes Again! (1941)  I have never finished this, ever, and I doubt that I ever will.  But, given that the full serial has a runtime of about 4.5 hours, and I can only watch it at my grandparents’ house, I think that’s reasonable.  It just has strange, nostalgic vibes, and the constant alternation between Sudden Intense Cliffhangers and Everything Being Perfectly Fine is weirdly relaxing for me.

5. Emma (2020)  Amazing colors, amazing costumes, amazing sets… the entire cast continually astonishes me with their beauty… and the soundtrack…. *is currently listening to the soundtrack*  Johnny Flynnnnnn….

6. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)  *shrugs* It’s just good!  The music alone… I have nothing more to say.

7. Wolfwalkers (2020)  Possibly the most beautiful movie I’ve ever seen.  The animation style is like nothing else I’ve ever seen, looking alternately like old woodcuts or watercolors… also I just love a well-done werewolf story.

BLOT IS HERE!!!

I'm being lazy right now I have chosen to not add much lore for him, but the basics is the idea that in Feral Origins, Blot was an animal that lived near Yatta and Looey, thus befriending them once Gardenview transformed him. The three are entertainment for children and families at the center, Blot specifically and most obviously taking the role of a mime.

Now...about the redesigns: I don't know when or who will be next. I have art block right now, and I also am hyperfixating on Eddsworld, so my focus has moved there. If enough people see this and choose to comment who they want to see next, that'd be great! Until then, enjoy this! :3

I honestly don't know what to think about the new Homestuck pilot announcement.

Like OF COURSE I am excited, I stopped breathing and was choking on my sobs of happiness just upon seeing the thumbnail.

But of course, Viviziepop producing it is going to stir up a lit of things.

And not to forget about TOBY FOX VOICING JOHN?!

Obviously thousands have already posted about this, but as a user of Tumblr, I am required to acknowledge the phenomenon that is Homestuck. Let's just hope it goes well, and let's also not forget that most of the Homestuck fandom is no less toxic than most of Vivziepop's fans.

Artfight has been over for exactly one week now. Thanks to everyone who attacked me, I appreciate each and every last one of your masterpieces. <3

Now...I did end up stumbling into another fandom while I was away. For the ones who follow me for Dandy's World content: Don't worry, I am still very motivated to finish all of the redesigns and develop the Feral Origins AU further. Just expect some Eddsworld content in between. :D

Speaking of the redesigns, these two are done. Posting them tomorrow. It is important to note, I only made one small change to Sprout, but Looey got entirely redrawn. :3

To the people who sent me attacks, I will cherish every single one of them till the day I die. Interacting with artists big and small, to experienced and beginners is the best thing ever for me, years before I started posting my art to the internet, I never received art before, since I was the only artist in the family, so this event means something to me, this boosted up my mental health, and I thank every single one of you who enjoys what I do

IK they don't wear braclets in the show I added the braclets bc I otherlink dog and I wear the braclets I gave him and my friend (I'll tag him in the post later bc I can't find the @ RN) is cat and he wears those braclets

I was proud of how I drew cats face in this picture bc the style looks different than how I usually draw like in a good way I think, and usually I can only draw dog well bc he's alot easier for me to draw

HERE ARE TWO OF MY OCS FEATURED. <3

Clover is a silver martin rabbit who, after finding herself in a relationship with a crime boss, went against all she stood for and became a wanted criminal. Though she did wrong, she was only manipulated to do so, and since she knew her actions held major consequences, she hid herself away from all...until she met Metro.

Metro became Clover's most trusted friend. While he has always held an urge to report her for her actions, he would rather hear her side and teach her to do better, not like she could redeem herself anyway, but he still at the very least doesn't want her dead. The two share a hobby of reading novels, and they frequently visit each other. Ironic that the only soul Clover could put trust in, is one predatory in nature to her species.

Fun fact: Clover was inspired by JubyPhonic's English cover of the song "Mind Brand" by Maretu.

Did a collaboration with @djsaberraptor for both our Dandy's World AU concepts!!! <3

My concept, Feral Origins, follows my OC and therian kinsona, Scout, and his horrific backstory of scientific modification, amnesia, and genocide to the memories of all the toons in Gardenview Center as they can only remember their pasts as now animalistic, feral twisteds.

My moirail, @djsaberraptor is working on an AU called Dandy's Dollhouse, in which all the toons are redesigned as children's toys, and the shopkeepers as kids. The AU is still in it's beginning stage, and may or may not have a story later on. The AU also includes Saber's OC, Stitches.
