Next character enjoying the Halloween festivities is Karter. He's a character of mine that hasn't seen much use but he's fun to draw. This costume is another rehash from an older year where he went as a mummy. He, like many older characters, has received design changes, but none are apparent here. Perhaps when I get a moment from my other focus, I'll put something featuring him together.

This one is for my friend, Dreleth! I dressed them up as Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish because I know they like wolves alot and I think the take of Death's personification was interesting. His role as a character isn't massive, relying more on the concept itself. If you haven't seen the movie, it's worth a watch (it's on Netflix).

Beware! The cry of a bat on an October night can mean nothing good.

This costume is much more generic than the last few. Cody dons a simple Bat kigurumi this year. This is another rehash of a previous costume which also features Cody's redesign! He's grown some hair and put on a little weight. I've had him this way for a while now but realized I never posted any art of his update. Until now, of course!

Little Halloween piece for my friend, @crypti-cole ! I'm sure everyone recognized his costume of Leon from RE: 2. I used the design from 2 because it's where my brain goes when I think of Leon. I'm sure others would argue that 4's design is more iconic, but RE2 Remake was the game that got me into the franchise and best game experience I had this year so this is what you get!

This year, Taps is going as Pyramid Head from Silent Hill! He's actually not a huge fan of horror games but the character looked cool to him and fit his whole faceless motif.

I did some research upon drawing this (as I have not played the games myself) and found the SH lore quite intriguing. Upon looking for a background, I originally was going to have the Halo of the Sun behind him. However, I was unsure if it would be appropriate for the character. Plus it looked complicated and these have to be relatively quick. Instead, I drew inspiration from "Misty Day, remains of the judgment" and am pleased with the outcome considering the time.

October kick off piece! I'm going to be drawing a handful of my characters in costumes for the month. The first two are Detective Spots and Vemook. Spots's costume is actually a rehash of an older Halloween piece of mine that I wanted to improve upon. Vemook is new to the Halloween festivities, however, and has gone as the vampire's thrall.

P.S. The bite was Vem's idea

Lucas Kaya works at the club Aroma as a part-time dancer and DJ and is never seen without his earbuds. Known for his cool but genuine demeanor, Lucas is not interested in trouble nor thrill like his roommate, Gale. The rabbit is much more a creature of habit and deals in small changes over time rather than dramatic shifts. They're a very relaxed, down to earth person very content to glide along in life.

Kindle - Shin squeezes some extra training hours in at a nearby parking lot sometimes. The focus on just him and his flame clears his mind and can be quite cathartic.
