Has anyone else noticed the pink sparkles floating around Jinx in this shot? They're not like the stuff left behind by Jinx's shimmer propelled ballistics, which leave an electrified pink trail.

Instead the sparkles remind me of the aftermath of the first hexcrystal explosion. Except with the hexcrystals, we got to see much bigger sparks because the kids were up close to the explosion. Here, it seems like whatever Jinx launched went far enough to leave a small cloud, but the impact of whatever Jinx launched was still sizeable enough to have it's residue reach Jinx in the sky.

I think this could be connected to the teaser Arcane released when they announced s2 was in production after s1's finale. The giant A to represent the arcane is electrified in hextech blue, and then the blue is slowly overtaken by shimmer pink to reveal something new (the 2 for s2).
It could mean that we'll see shimmer (or the substance used to make it) overtake hextech in capability (or at least destructiveness) and Jinx could be the one helming this new direction in the arms race.

Maybe we'll even get an explanation on the vague connection between shimmer and hextech (magic both originating deep in the ground) that the show wanted to include in the first season's story but had to cut down for time (read card in the center top).

I've finished the design of an unstabilised power supply (which is a part of this course).
