he may not realistically be in the battle for the drivers championship anymore, however that doesn’t at all minimise just how proud i am of all lando has achieved this season. 3 wins (including his maiden), 7 poles, 12 podiums, leading his team to first place in the constructors championship, securing the most points of any mclaren driver in history. and that’s just on track, off it i am immensely proud of his growth too, from being someone who always saw everything as glass half full and was always so hard on himself, to the way he now talks in interviews you can see his confidence and belief in his own abilities has come on so far (as it should). it’s so nice to see how far he’s come from the little boy who started out in f1 so many years ago. maybe this year wasn’t his for the championship but mark my words, his time will come.

oh my god chris rodriguez spent years in the right cabin and he didn't know. he was left unclaimed and unwanted for years, left in a cabin that he was made to feel he didn't belong to even though he did. he rebelled and joined the war against the gods, ending up losing his sanity, and that still wasn't enough for his father to claim him, to simply say "yeah, this is my son". he was always in the right place, but he didn't know it, and he never got the chance to actually call the hermes cabin his family. no wonder so many of the hermes kids hated their dad.

Hey so I did actually make a little primer for any of you interested in learning about hockey :) It covers the basic rules and pretty much goes in order of the bare minimum you'd need to know to understand what's going on. It does not include propaganda for convincing you to watch hockey. There's a final section I'll keep expanding on that's just personal enjoyment, and maybe I'll put propaganda there, but the actual meat focused on explaining how to watch the game is all completed and hopefully actually useful :)!

Does anybody have pages 5-8 or 19-21 of pancaketiffy's Nautical Disaster anywhere? And does anyone know if the comic was ever continued past page 23? I wanna see if I can archive it somehow.

UPDATE: Did some more digging and found pages 19-21 (though two pages are labeled as page 21, which seems like an accident but they are two different pages, I'll have them listed in order,) as well as a 24th page. My guess is that that was the last page that was publicly released, but again, if anyone knows about pages past this point let me know.

So now all I need to find are pages 5-8, and any possible pages after 24.

UPDATE 2: Found page 7, so that leaves pages 5 and 8.

UPDATE 3: Alright, someone has graciously found the rest of the pages for me, I think this is it. Page 8 is under the Read More, couldn't find a specific reblog for it. I'll have another big update regarding some Pancaketiffy stuff later.

OHHH HM. honestly id never thought of it before... i was going to say that isabeau knew the whole time she didnt have any so it was just him making a joke that siffrin joined in on but. i rechecked that line and the specific wording is "I had a feeling for a while." so. he did not know i just misremembered.

hm. i have no clue what the first guess would be but i can kind of see it starting with Isabeau asking her about it and without her giving any specifics, he just threw out a few guesses. I can kind of see this happening before Siffrin joined the party so they joined in on the bit later

for the record, i think *everyone* should voice their opinions directly in my replies and reblogs, because there's this beautiful thing called "talking to people" and it does wonders for the sense of community when you don't feel like it's you against everyone else. if i make a dumbass post i encourage y'all to say something directly to me, i'll probably agree with you on your points, and if i don't, then you might gain a better understanding of mine that must have led me there.

like, am i crazy. am i old. i genuinely think this is the largest contributing factor to isolation and this Me vs. Them vibe that modern fandom has going on. most of the time if i see something ~factually incorrect~ and shoot somebody a reply they go, "shit, you're right, my bad!" and that's the end of it. i would hope everybody would pay me the same courtesy and be comfortable enough to do that, idk.

Here's a reminder that ANDREW DOES HEAL AND LEARN TO FEEL. Nora never said that Andrew never heals or that he doesn't get less apathetic. She said the opposite, actually. If you don't like the extra content, that's fine, but please actually read it before deciding to spread the incorrect assumptions people have made up about it. Just because Andrew never gets to the point where he smiles and laughs all the time doesn't mean he doesn't heal.

(Also, Nora never said Andrew never smiles, just that it's hard to imagine, and if he did, it'd be with only Neil around)

I'm just at my limit. Do people realise that there's a world outside of America?
