Ugh, yes. The top reason why AOT is my favorite anime is because of the storytelling and the subtle messages it passes across about humanity. The second reason is because of that one episode where we find out that Eren is the original orchestrator behind so many things in the story. He’s such a complex character and I love him.

I was immediately intrigued by the Attack Titan’s abilities the moment I found out just how far it could go. I think learning about it gave me all these ideas and questions. If Eren could go back in time and manipulate events, just how much would things change? How many times would he get it right? How many times would he get it wrong?

The thing about alternate realities is one decision to pick a blue card over a red one has created a reality where you picked the red card instead and one where you picked no card at all. Do this with every small and big every decision made and you have realities that are very close in similarities and realities that are vastly different and far out from the original.

It made me wonder…things ended badly for him and Mikasa in the story. What if I could take it a step further? What if he could go back and change certain things? And what if he failed…a thousand times?

This fanfic is going to contain a lot of canon references but at the end of the day, it is still an AU fic so I’ll really just be building on what I already know and understand. The question of how Eren discovered he could do it and how he settled in this place will be explained in due time.

And to answer your last question, he is not sane. Please send him hugs.
