Tbh I feel like a lot of people who believe Lucy and Cooper will have a dad-daughter relationship are just placing the Joel-Ellie filter on them because they're another male-female apocalyptic duo and they aren't actually considering the characters and where they are in their lives right now. Cooper didn't lose a daughter like Joel did. He has one, who he's currently looking for. There's no daughter-shaped crater in him that needs to be healed. As for Lucy, unlike Ellie, she isn't in need of a father figure in her life. She has a dad, who she had a great relationship with up until the truth was revealed. She is a well adjusted girlie, no daddy issues present. If anything, it's her mother that's the sore spot. Especially considering the fate she had.

Jay tries their best to take MC's lead when it comes to their family! Of course, Jay is like......highkey the ideal person to bring home to your parents they're charming and sensible and polite as hell. But if they know MC has a strained relationship with their parents, Jay will try to be a lot more in tune with MC's feelings and will try to navigate the situation based on how MC has said they'd like to go about it.

Willow is a different story entirely. Willow and Jay's relationship is 100% dependent on how normal Willow decides to be about Jay lmao.

So, aas I said before is very based on 'Aqui no hay quien viva' and probably also "Aida', so mostly a small neighborhood with some local store and bars, and mostly of them living in small apartments.

For the neighbors I thought about this dynamics:

-Kori and Lydia living in front of Suzie's apartment, and Korydia is probably the happiest couple of the neighborhood.

-Lana and Jewels been roommates and trowing parties almost every weekend.

-Metamorkid and Yvonne been the ones who work at the store of the neighborhood (And probably Meta been depressed af)

-I think that Scarlett Harlett could be like a Paz in this au, so probably that.
